Speaker 1 (00:04):
It's nice to walk into a bar where they know, Yeah,
and I'm not like norm You know why why.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Because I'm slimmer and I'm toner down. You know why.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Game Day Men's Health, I'm now three months into this treatment. Nice,
and I have the energy of a twenty year old.
I'm forty five. I don't feel forty five. Oh so
energy then, yeah, and then what's great about it is
if you're interested about it, dm me also look them
up Game Daymen'shealth dot com. You can get your appointment free. First,
free blood work. How about this? You get blood work done?

(00:33):
It's expensive, right, yeah, not there, it's free.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yeah, So even if you don't want to use the treatment,
at least you know where you stand. And it also, man,
it's also a good little preprostate check for you to
make sure that you're doing good, because again, men don't
like to do all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
But again, Game Daymen's Health dot Com.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
It's okay to talk about that kind of stuff. Yeah,
it's necessary.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
What's funny is I'm loving the chat on Facebook right
now and also apparently.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, I'm calling them the fanatics right now because you've
got Cam who's in here, big old this is for.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Cam ohh say it. I don't want to. I ow
Ohio State Roles.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I can't pretend like I'm a fan of another school.
But he's like he sits in here. His comment is
Ohio State's number one. Everyone else is number thirteen. You know,
real talk. Sooners didn't look good at all, just like Alabama.
And we're gonna get to have a conversation about how
State two. Shout out to Bill Brindle. A and M
now gets a week off in a playoff home game.
So A and M let me ask you this, guys,

(01:31):
honest question.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Did A and M just not give a crap? I
don't like?

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Eh?

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Well, because here's the thing is, like, I remember before
last year, the last time Texas and A and M
had played was twenty eleven, right, twenty eleven, twenty twelve?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Is that that?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yeah, twenty Well, they played last year, but then it
was like twenty ten.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
That was the last time until A and M left
for the SEC. It was around that, okay, But the
thing is like, before we all realize that there's an
entire generation of Texas and A and M fans that
didn't really grow up with that game, and assuming some
of these players are in that same regard. They don't
have the same I would say passion as teams in
the past, not that they don't care, because it really,
really in every game matters, especially if you're in the

(02:07):
playoff hunt. Yeah, so I don't think it's I don't
think it's fair to say they don't care. But the
passion definitely doesn't feel like it once did. It felt
it felt forced.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Look, I like the Texas showdown and by the way,
shout out to our friend Melissa, this is the one
that's driving up to New England.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
In the freezing cold right now. So we're listening.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
We're on the East coast, Boston clam chowder.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
That's Boston and the baked beans. Yeah, is that good.
I'm gonna go to the the Kakis and the Khakis
way back to A and M.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
So.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
But I don't know if I honestly think that they
didn't give a hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
It definitely did. I know, I just made every Texas
fan go like that well because in the first half.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Had nothing to lose. Even if they lose, they're in
the playoff. If they win, they're in the playoff and
SEC title.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
I don't doubt I don't doubt that there are some
players who had that mindset of like, hey, we're already
in regardless, because if you're a top five team in
the last week of the season, you're gonna make it.
You're giving me the CFP. I'm not saying you're gonna
host a playoff game, but you're gonna likely be in.
And I get that, But I also don't think that
it's unreasonable to assume that Texas fans, sorry Texas players,

(03:16):
uh huh, felt like this game was more important than
just beyond the simple rivalry, right, So.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Let's not keep the Texas fans waiting any longer. I
want to do our fanatics twelve projected, right, and you
guys can come in right at any point, yeah, and
you can represent your team.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
So going around, right, we know that Shane's.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Team is Texas Tech from what I know from you,
and when I saw on Friday, you were wearing a
Longhorns shirt. So ASA not to put any pressure to
you or the fanatics out there, you are going to
represent the University of Texas. You were all in. You
beat A and M and I want you to go
through this list. Once you hear this list, I am
gonna give you a shot to convince me who's the

(03:58):
college football committe because I don't know if you know
this or not.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
They've called me to actually put a vote in.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
You're the reference.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Yeah, yeah, I am. Yeah, I talk to your mica.
You're talking to this side.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
It's fine, but you know what I mean. So let's
just think of it that way. So here we go.
We're gonna go from the top. We're gonna go from
the the easy answers, right.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
So one through the end, one through.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Twelve, okay, number one, oh h yes, io, yes, any
questions there on number one?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
None? Right? Number two Indiana, I'm fine with that.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Why because they're twelve to zero, right, So these two
are gonna play each other. So I guess the winner
becomes number one and the loser becomes number two.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Now, the loser, probably it depends how close it.

Speaker 5 (04:37):
If it's a blowout, they fall out of the top four,
but not out of the playoff. If it's a close loss,
then both are gonna be a top four seed, but
one one's gonna drop the four.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Right.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
And then so now, now this is where we start
kind of cooking a little bit, right. This is where
three through twelve has changed quite a lot, a lot.
We all agree there number three of the Georgia Bulldogs,
that's fine. You know, Georgia only has that one law, right,
they could be lower, but let's be honest, they're not
going to be lower than that. Georgia is heavily favored

(05:06):
YEA to win. You know, they might as well have
not even left Atlanta at this point because they played
there on Friday against Georgia Tech. Yeah, and then now
they're playing there again against Alabama. You know what's funny
about Alabama to me in my opinion here real quick
is somehow, some way they always find their ass in
the SEC title game number four Tech E Tech Red Raiders.

(05:30):
They face BYU this weekend right in Dallas. You going, Shane,
I wish Are you gonna watch it?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Are you nervous?

Speaker 3 (05:36):
No, I'm gonna watch it. Like what if they lose,
they're still in.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
But they just swap with they would do that, they
would they would likely drop to like eight or nine
b why you would get the auto bid.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
But Tech's still in. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
So by the way, Facebook, keep going, I love this talk.
There's a bunch of trash talk going on. We'll catch
up in the comments during the break. But so number five,
this one's interesting to me. Oregon ducks, so Oregon jumps
Ole Miss. The one loss that Oregon has is to Indiana.
Now Oregon lost at home to Indiana, so that kind
of told everybody about Indiana. Right, Wow, this team's for real.

(06:13):
Number six them good old.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Fight and Aggies.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Right, we're now out of the top three because that
loss was embarrassing, but.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
That still gives them a home playoff game, which.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
By the way, the head coach Elko, don't be so bitter.
Can we shut the door and have a professional interview. Yeah,
they're running down in the hallway because they beat you.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Suck it up, Buttercup, That's what I would tell Soles
has to be seven, then will you?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Will you let me get there? This kid is like
an impatient kid at Christmas. Number seven Old Miss eleven
to one.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
I Ole Miss, so ole Miss fell. So they're so
and then falling. They're they're staying. They've been number seven
for a while.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
I thought oll Miss was like six last week. No, okay,
but you've got to reward your Red Raiders to get
into the top five. I'm not saying that they wouldn't
be in there.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
They got to put Georgia up there because they're relevant,
because they're gonna get.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
They're the highest ranked SEC team. They're going to be
a top four team.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Number eight aka, we ain't dead yet, the Oklahoma Sooners, right,
can't kill us, can't stop us? Right, that's their whole
little motto, which, by the way, kids, I don't know
I can you see it on Facebook?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
What is this? Why do these players put their arms
up and do this? What is that? Change? Okay? First
of all, do that in radio? Doesn't really help? No,
but it's fine. I'm just saying, I don't know what
you're doing. That's what they do. What is he doing?
He's recreating what they're doing? Yeah, but what is that?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Anybody can help me? Now, let's start cooking a little
bit more. Number nine Okay, by the way, the Texas
Tech Talk on Facebook would light you up right now?

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Why is that?

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Because they're going after your boy manby I love it?
Number nine, no fighting Irish two losses? Right, they started
off h and two.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
We wrote them off. They've now won ten straight.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
The thing about Notre Dame is and this is and
this is where the issue comes in is they know
only they did lose to A and M and they
did lose to Miami. Their two best wins are usc
good Win and Pitt at Pitt by the way good Win.
The conflict becomes, hey, they lost to Miami a head
to head. So the argument of like, hey, that was
early in the season, this they're different now doesn't hold

(08:17):
any weight. If we're trying to be a true playoff,
you recognize only what you've done, not what you put
what not a hypothetical win. So I have no problem
not to day In being in, but you would have
to put Miami in as an at large.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Now here's number ten. Shout out to my friend Brooke.
This is her team. She screams it loud and true.
Role Tide role, the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Number ten.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Now here's my here's my theory on this. You better
win against Georgia to stay alive. Yeah, you're in double
digits here, you're number ten. I'm first to kick you down.
I'm like Santa Claus from the Christmas Story.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Don't forget if they lose, don't forget Bama beat Georgia
earlier this year.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
You don't think Georgia John, Oh oh, they want revenge
and it's very hard to beat team twice.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
It is. Okay, we all know this. I'm aware of that.
I'm aware of that as a Tech time.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
They're playing BYU because up next number eleven BYU Cougar's
oh put oh BYU was the at large yep. Oh okay,
here's where it starts cooking, right, okay, because now somebody's
gonna say we why isn't Dylan saying Texas?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Hold on?

Speaker 1 (09:20):
The Cougars are only eleven and one. They're one loss
being at Tech in Lubbock, So guess what. Let's play neutral.
Now we gotta go to Dallas.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
But is that really neutral? Though?

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Well, technically there's a lot of Tech fans in Dallas, nick.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
LEAs well, there's not a lot of BYU fans. Bet you,
Steve Young, they're stuck in the mountains. Anyway, I bet
you Sarkisian is gonna go shout out you didn't know that?
Did you play quarterback there? I knew that.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
I just figured he would probably be at home, you know,
like hoping that he gets into me. I just don't
hope he gets his participation in trophy.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Don't talk about Florida in her post game. So you
got the byu Coog's number twelve. I want to go
around and get your number twelve. He'sa who would be
your number twelve?

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Who's currently number twelve? Right now?

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
No, that's coming up. Oh that's coming up.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
That's coming up.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
That's who's number twelve.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
I'll give you And this is for radio because I
want to you see what I'm holding up.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
That's number twelve. Yes, all right? Can I say it?

Speaker 5 (10:14):
Then?

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yeah? If you feel like they're there, then yeah, I
go they are there there Miami, Yes, Miami.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
So she feels Miami should be number twelve, Shane, I
think Miami should be above Notre Dame. I think Notre
Dame should be in. But my twelve team would be Vanderbilt. Okay,
so your twelfth team would be Vandy. If we're doing
just straight run through one through twelve, not an actual
costwall playoff bracket, but one through twelve, I would put
Vandy up there. I would have Notre Dame lower than Miami.

(10:42):
But the problem is, but the problem is with that
one yeah, when they lost the Texas and two is
that by you to your point only as one loss
Notre Dame only has two losses and to the end,
which and they get the benefit of having two losses
early in the season.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Okay, Vanderbilt.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
I just feel like it's played better of late, if
that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Miami or Miami is the sexier pick to put in
number twelve at ten and two.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
That's true. Now they're going they are going to the
AEC game, right, No, no, they're not. It's Virginia versus Duke.
Virginia and Duke. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
So Miami now has to hope that teams ahead of
them lose so they get the at large bid.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
And because let's face it, Miami fell on their face twice.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
They fell on Louisville and they fell in SMU. Well,
it depends on you consider it was a bad loss
SMU last night.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Wouldn't you say that SMU had a shot to get
to the AEC title game.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I was watching this game last night, and they they
they mostly overlooked.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Cal they did, and it comes down to a fifty
two yard field goal wide writ see you later, SMU,
You're done. And for Miami, it's like, dude, why did
y'all lose that game? Because Miami lost to SMU. So
you start looking at your resumes, right, and that's where
you have to look at it, because you even told me,
like with Texas, because I don't know if we do
we have time to get into Texas now or do
we want to wait?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
We have time? Because if you look at Texas's resume.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
The biggest kick, right, the biggest argument is I hear
is this, Well we faced Ohio State good? And then
Stark says, what am I supposed to do? Not schedule these?

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Well?

Speaker 5 (12:12):
Why why are they bring up ab out Hohio State?
Like that's the loss people are paying attention to. No
one is taking credit away from a good loss. Yeah,
they're not taking credit.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Like I get it.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
I watched that with my friend Cam that first game, right, Sure,
I watched that game and I was like, man, Texas
looks pay The defense had sound. That's a that's a
good loss. We're now sitting here talking about good losses.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Well that's what that's that's gonna come down to.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Okay, Well, we can talk about Gainesville, can't we?

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Yes, we can. Nobody wants to talk about We can
also talk about bad wins. Bad wins, right.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
Bad win UTAP They struggling into UTAP bad win in
Kentucky took them to overtime. The same Kentucky who yesterday
lost forty one to nothing in Louisville, another bad loss.
They were down thirty one to fourteen, had to come
back and beat Missippi State into overtime. I understand, yes,
A and M is a good win. Oh you a
good win. They're gonna look at it now that John
Metier was hurt. That's gonna be. That's gonna be out there.
Oh I could throw Vanderbilt was a good win.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
No one is arguing that.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
But if you look at an entire resume, you do
not look at a team in November versus September.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
You look at a team throughout twelve games. I will
put it this way.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Texas fans up until OHEU, they were having their heads
hanging low. Bars, weren't making any money because nobody was
showing up because nobody was wearing Texas gear.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
And I'm sorry, young, yeah, yeah, but some people started
switching their colors from orange to maroon about.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Six weeks into the season. I saw it, we all
saw it. They took the shirt off and Texas struggles
against UTEP at home. You're supposed to have arch manning
on the sideline by the end of the second quarter.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
You played the entire game, not play the entire game.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Same with Sam Houston when you're struggling against teams like this.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
But then you go, oh no, no, no, they stun San Jose,
not Sam Houston. Whatever.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Oh well, we lost to Ohio State if we didn't
have Ohio State.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
And they bring that up like that's the like, that's
the contingency. It's not Ohio State. No one is gonna
No one's gonna they're gonna take it away from you
for a good loss. So anyone who argues that there
you know that is that's a deflection against a way
away from losing a three and eight Florida team.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
It's like a four and eight. It's like a breakup
where it's like, dude, you're not looking at your problem.
Your problem was Florida.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
Issa, you're the long worn fan. Convince me why Texas
deserves to be in the playoff right now?

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
And it's the only thing I have is the Ohio game.
They did keep Ohio to fourteen points.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
First game of the season.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
First game of the season. I understand that, but that
is the lowest scoring game that Ohio has had this
entire season.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Well, that's the credit of the defense. That's fine. I
can talk about Florida though, real quick.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah, what do you got against Florida?

Speaker 4 (14:47):
I have no comments for Florida, really really off day
for them.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
That's one of those I'm only paid out here to
take questions because no. And what frustrated me the most
is watching that game on Friday and Sark, of course
that's their podium, right. We start hearing coaches this time
of the year like, well, you know, I'll tell you
what if you miss us out in the playoffs. I'm
telling you're missing out a lot. You need to have
us in the playoffs. Why didn't the reporter go, yeah, Sark,

(15:13):
that's a great point about Ohio State and everything else.
But can we talk about Gainesville and how that's probably
gonna be your arch nemesis. No, because what happens that
reporter now loses their credentials because Sark got angry.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
I mean, we don't ask the tough question.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Let me remind youus some mischie because I don't come
up out a break. But since the collegeball playoff, we
goes back to twenty twenty two. Last year twenty twenty four,
the first year of the twelve team playoff, correct, they
left out Alabama who had three losses because they had
a late season loss to OU who needed that win to.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Get bow eligible. And they also left that.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Old Miss who had three losses, one of them was
to a bad Kentucky team. In twenty twenty three, the
last year of the four team playoff, they left out
Florida State just because again the ACC champion of Florida
State because they lost their quarterback. And twenty twenty two
still four teams, they left out a two team Alabama
team because they didn't even play for the SEC championship game.

(16:03):
So why does Texas, who has a similar argument as
those teams, why do they become the exception?

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Because my logo shows that I should be there, and
all the Lamborghinis I used for college recruitment shows that
I should be there, and arch Manning said that if
he gets to play teams again, he'll beat them.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
So why does why do the long Wardes get the exception?

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Listen, We're still a young team, we're still developing, So
what we've got everywhere?

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Right? No?

Speaker 2 (16:30):
But I get that.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
But here's my thing, and I'll say this as we
go to break But sure, Texas, I'd love to see
you come in to the playoff. I love to see
you come up to Norman and play because I'd be
salivating to play you again because I can guarantee you
you would not have the outcome you just had in Dallas, Texas.
So coming up next, we've got sounds of Saturday or

(16:51):
sounds of Thanksgiving, Sounds of Thanksgiving, and I will continue
to irritate all Texas fans for the rest of the
show on the Fanatics on ticket seven sixty
