to chase down Florida man and or Florida oh man,
follow all their exploits. We do that every day in
this It's called WTF and that stands for what the
Florid And unfortunately we have to go first to a
Florida many.

He was all dressed up in scuba gear. Uh huh.

He robbed a Disney Springs restaurant and then he simply
swam away. Yes, investigators are looking for a man that
robbed the very popular Disney Springs restaurant. He swam up
in scuba gear and a whole wet suit and everything,
and then swam away after he stole thousands of dollars.

He hit the Paddlefish restaurant shortly after midnight on Monday,
after it.

Closed to its guest. Oh, he knew what he was doing.

The man found a place to store his wetsuit and
his scuba gear. Then he walked up into the manager's
office where the cash was from that night, and it
was you know, counted and put into a safe and
the whole what not, you know what I mean. And
that's when Scuba Steve just happy as you please, took
anywhere between ten to twenty thousand dollars.

The employees say that he left with him two minutes
when they oh, by the way, according to this, there
were employees there.

He forced two of them into a corner and had
them close their eyes. Oh and g I am Nazi

will not be saying a word. Nobody was hurt.

He didn't brandish any weapons, so I imagine if he
did have a weapon, may be one of those cool
like spear.

Guns, you know what I mean, like a diver would
have you. Now we're like, yeah, right, I'm going a
harpoonia right, uh huh.

Anyway, after leaving the replica steamboat, the man donned his
scuba gear in his wetsuit and jump back into the
pond and swam off right off into Lake Buena Vista
out there at Disney property. Wow, so that is pretty cool, Like,
first of all, a year, isn't it.

It's kind of expensive, no, gotta be what I mean.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
You know, you hit Disney Springs restaurant for twenty k,
you can afford that scooby gear, you know, what I mean.

You pay off those Clarna payments real quick.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Oh, I'll tell you what, man, that's ingenious, you know
what I mean. Nobody's ever thought to take Disney by sea,
you know what I dude, I.

They got you covered by land. There's Disney police all
over the place. They got you by air. Orange County
helicopters are everywhere. Oh they don't got you by sea
by sea. I don't see a Disney warship out there.
That is an incredible story, like I would love hear
it recounted from his point of view, although obviously he's
not gonna show himself.

It's like a movie about this guy.

Yeah, right, man, it's gonna spire a whole wave of crime.

Although he's lucky there was no gators in that water. Right. Well,
he had that spear gun, you know what I mean. Yeah,
but you think that could pierce through a gator skin? Yeah? Probably.
I don't even know if he had, But I just
added that to the story myself.

But I remember, oh yeah, yeah, that's because I regied it.
I said it wouldn't be cool if he did. Guy,
it's the only weapon he would have. Speaking about weapons
that people have. When you're in the state of Florida,
it's probably a bad idea to start shooting into a
house because the people inside will probably start shooting back.

That's exactly what happened one Oh yeah, a couple of
people got wounded. That's when an armed man entered a
house full of people, just started shooting, according to this,
and then everybody else like, oh yeah, you think they
stopped making guns when they made yours, they started shooting.

He shot back at Mauricio Vasco Lopez, according to this,
and Mauricio did not account for the fact that everybody
else in that house also had a gun right nearby.
But there he is, what's his problem, don't know? According
to this, four people ended up getting shot, and the
preliminary investigation found that Mauricio arrived at the home, he

had a handgun, shot a few people, and then somebody
shot him. So there it is. Everybody's going to jail
because everybody was a felon. Nobody was supposed to have
a gun there. That's Mauricio's vault for starting that, right exactly.

We go lastly to a Florida man who is warning
people not to.

His name is Travis Kurtz, and he's a self proclaimed
Florida Man. He's finding some strength in humor. Those are
rallying around him after he was struck by lightning.

That's right, struck by lightning, thirty years old. His kerts.

He was struck outside of a pizza shop. So he's
hanging out outside of a pizza shop, you know, doing
Florida man things, and he gets struck by lightning. And
now that he's on the road to recovery, he's telling
other people, Hey, don't be like Florida man. That's me
and I would not do that again if I had
a chance to go back. But so he was outside

of a pizza ship side, hanging out doing dumb Florida
man stuff, probably had his shirt off, you know, and
probably all gooned up skateboarding.

Yeah, right, exactly. Again, he's thirty.

Let's put that back into perspective again, right, and yeah,
struck by lightning.

Didn't even get a chance to finish his slice. He's lucky.

That's what he said. Yeah, that was about three weeks
ago he got struck by lightning. He's doing better, but
you know, obviously he's got a lot of He likes
to wear Florida Man T shirts and you know, hats
and whatnot. He's a proudly self proclaimed Florida Man. But
he says, don't be like me, don't be like Florida Man.

Well, there you go. That was a lot of fun. Yeah,

I mean up until the moment that he had a
beer in one hand and a slice of sausage pizza
in the other and got struck by lightning. Then it
was no more fun. But we will do this again

that people have. When you're in the state of Florida,
it's probably a bad idea to start shooting into a
house because the people inside will probably start shooting back.

That's exactly what happened one Oh yeah, a couple of
