Speaker 1 (00:02):
Right here we go.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
It is that time on iHeartRadio where we do have
to chase down Florida man and or.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Florida wo man and follow all their exploits.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
We do that daily in this it's called WTF and
that stands.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
For what the floried Listen go first. Unfortunately it is
a Florida man. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
See, this is the thing, and we've learned this and
time and time again we have seen this.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
You can take the man.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Out of Florida, but you cannot take the Florida out
of the man. This Florida man was arrested after trying
to break into an Ohio museum, a park and a
bunch of businesses out there as well.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yay.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
He's like, I'm gonna take my Florida attitude to Ohio
and they do not put up with it there.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
No. His name is Derek Duck. I swear to God,
Derek Duck.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
He's from Paulatic That's right, Derek Duck. Derek Duck. What's
your middle name? Dennis?

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Derek, Dennis Duck. A lot of a literation going on.
I like that.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I like a literation, you know. Yeah, the day thing
going put up triple d ye, double d yeah, that's right.
He broke into a park concession stand. They hate when
you do that. Yeah, he broke into a business, and
then for some reason he decided to break into an
air museum out there in clear Museum.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Yeah, oh interesting. Now he did all this like eight
fifteen in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
They noticed that a lock had been broken and that
some items were missing. And according to this, they also
said an electric bike was gone and a rifle.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Somehow Derek Duck got his hands on a rifle during
his little crime spree. Now, according to this, the business
owner called the sheriff's department after a man that he
noticed was wearing his hat and sunglasses. He's like, wait
a minute, those are my hat and sunglasses right there,
that guy's wearing.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
The sheriff's department was called out. That's right.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
They found mister Duke and he was charged with theft,
breaking and entering, theft of a firearm, weapons and all
kinds of crap, and you know, also stealing that guy's
hat and his sunglasses.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
And they indeed him right back to Florida. That's it.
We go next to a Florida woman this time.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I'm sorry, all right, and not only is it a
Florida woman, She went big?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
A Florida woman.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
She was arrested after strangling a nurse with her ankle
monitor power cord.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
No, not the ankle monitor potower cord.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
That means that she already was in trouble for something else,
hence the ankle monitor and now more charges because she
tried to strangle a nurse with the power record from
the ankle monitor. A woman from Seminole has been charged
with attempted moody after she attacked and strangled the nurse
at a healthcare center in Pidela's Park.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Now, according to this, they say that fifty.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Eight year old Karen de Bert Nharn she used a
power chord from her ankle monitor.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Yeah, she's fifty eight. No, she's a Florida woman. You know,
there's no age Florida woman. That's a problem. There's no
age limit on the stupidity. Fifty eight is first of all,
the ankle monitor is a reminder that you're already in
trouble already. Yeah, you should have liked she should have had.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
This like altercation with the nurse and then like look
down at her ankle and instead of seeing a weapon
of opportunity. She should have gone, oh, wait a minute,
I'm already in trouble for stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Maybe I should calm down.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
But no, Karen doubled down, and she looked down at
that ankle monitor and said, I see a chord in
which I can strangle this nurse that has given me
a bunch of bull mess right now. And that's exactly
what she did, the bow mess.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
That is insane to say, the power cord. The fact
that you're out in public and you need to bring
the power chord with you. That's right. You're not charging
it at home. You're out and about you're out.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I'm gonna tell you one thing, Nicole, when all this
is over, they're gonna have to put some sort of
monitor on her so they can track where she's going. Yeah,
she's dangerous, she is.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, she needs to be monitor.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
We go lastly to an update on a story that
we've had before. We told you and I said this
a while back. I said, this is not gonna go anywhere.
This woman is full of it. There's a woman who
was at Sea World Orlando. She was riding on one
of the roller coasters and she claimed that she was

(04:42):
hit in the face by a duck and that it
was their fault because they have all the water around
and it invites the ducks, another water fowl, you know,
to be there. Well, guess what. That was not a
duck that hit her in the face. She was full
of it. Hillary Martin is her name. She says that
she was injured by a duck while riding the Maco

(05:04):
roller coaster in March. Her lawsuit says that she suffered
permanent injuries and was looking for more than fifty thousand
dollars worth of damages.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
She says that.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
SeaWorld created a zone of danger because of the proximity
of the body of water, and that is a risk
of these water bird strikes, you know, like that of
a duck. Well, guess what Sea World Orlando responded. They
say that there is an emotion to dismiss according to this,
it was not a duck. It does not and never

(05:34):
has involved a duck. Accordingly, mis Martin's allegations that she
encountered a duck while experiencing the Makeo roller coaster are
no longer true or factual. So she's suing based on
the fact that she was hitting the face with a duck.
It was not a duck, so that she was hitting
the face with it was an egret. Totally different bird,
that's right, totally different bird.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
So the charges are dropped. So she got the wrong bird,
wrong bird.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Sorry that you can't identify your birds when they're flying
at your face at seventy miles an hour. You know
what I mean, that's your fault. The fact that she
wants to even sue to begin with is if like
they could right, like, they can stop it. That's what
I said to I'm like, even if it was an egret,
by the way, a snow eat egret. Oh boy, uh,
not a duck. So it never involved a duck. So

(06:19):
no duck, no lawsuit. So how's the egret? Oh the
egret is dead, that they died the moment it struck
her face.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
But still she can't sue. She can't sue. No, no,
get your birds right, girl, that's it. Yeah, your fault.
Oh well you know what I mean. See, if you
didn't miss that zoology class, that's it. You know what
I mean. You should have went to aviary college or something.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yeah, I don't know, joined a bird watching group.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Wow, you know, I'm embarrassing. It's so embarrassing. Can't identify
your own birds, and you're gonna lose out on fifty thousands, Like, oh,
I was hitting the face with the penguin. Really you
sure about that?

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Exactly? Mostly a flightless bird. Get out of here. Ah.
That was fun.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
That was good for everybody, except that lady who thought
she got hit with a duck and then she tried
to sue. It turns out nope, it's an egret.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Yeah wrong birds on that. Yeah, sorry I dropped.

Speaker 2 (07:15):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
