Speaker 1 (00:09):
It is that time on iHeartRadio where we do have
to chase down Florida man and or Florida woman and
follow all their exploits. We do that every day in
this It's called WTF and that stands for what the Florid.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
And we have a theme today, damn it. It is
the All Florida Woman edition this morning. All right, come on,
let me see if I can defend them.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
All right, ladies, here we go. Number one, we go
to a Florida woman.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
She's innocent.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
She was arrested, Oh damn being innocent for driving one
hundred and twenty five miles an hour on a turnpike. Hoy,
she's sixty five years old. Now that's the interesting part.
You never see an old lady driving fast, let alone
one hundred and twenty five.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
She must have been off her meds.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
She was driving one hundred and twenty five miles an
hour on the Florida Turnpike, excessively exceeding the speed limit
by a significant amount. By the way, the Florida Highway
Patrol they say that Jane Marie Barba from Ocala. She
was driving her Blue Audie.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
There you go. This is ten pm.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
The speed limit is seventy, So she was going fifty
five miles over the speed limit if my math is correct.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
And it never is. Ah.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
She also changed lanes without signaling, cut in front of
a semi truck before they finally stopped her. Now, according
to this, Florida law does permit officers to arrest drivers
that are exceeding the speed limit by more than fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
She was taken to the jail.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Damn I arrested this sixty five year old lady.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, how could they do that to her?
Speaker 1 (01:44):
She just had a late night bingo game to get
to that's it, damn it, jail birth thing.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yeah, she was.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Just what's the point of having fast cars if we
can't go fast?
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Thank you? Right?
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Why does the speedometer go up that high if I'm
not allowed to go exactly right? You got all this
extra speed there that's like seventy eighty ninety miles an hour.
I can't even use She.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Innocent and her bifocals were a little blurry.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Come on, Jane, come on, we got you. We're gonna
get you out, all right.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
And so let's go to the next one. Let's see
if she's innocent. This Florida woman innocent. She chased people
in a Walmart parking lot.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I mean, thanks.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
It's hard to defend, but a Florida woman is accused
of chasing people in a Walmart parking lot with her
car and also on foot. So she was chasing people
on foot and in her car. Her name is Nicole Mixon.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
I was like, come on, don't you dare damn it,
Nicole Mixon. Now with my car, she was all in
the mix, Miss Mixon.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
She was sitting in a parked car, which is a
white nineteen ninety six Toyota Camry.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
That's right, saved some for the rest of us. Jeez.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
So, according to this the driver's side door was open,
and a deputy answered this call. Miss Mixon waved at
the deputy as he drove up to her vehicle, and
he asked if she was okay.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Uh and uh.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Well, apparently miss Mixing she was not okay because previously
she had been chasing people both on foot and with
her car. So and no reasoning why none, you know,
because Florida woman.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Man, you know, that's why I.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Just realized people need a little bit of exercise.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Is that what it is, right, that's what it was.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
She's like, okay, you know what, some of these people
needn't get their little holiday season.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Okay, get them summer bodies.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Ready.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Now yeah, She's like, let me put a little gas
in there.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
You know, my favorite part of this story is that
when the deputy, Now this is the best part. She
chased people on foot and with her car. You know,
people are like, she's gonna run me over. Uh, people
called the cops. Obviously, she stayed in the Walmart parking lot,
sitting in the in the passenger seat with the driver's
side door wide open. When the deputy comes over, she says,
(03:56):
is it okay if I'm parked here? He's like, that
part's okay, But chasing people around a Walmart parking lot
on foot and with your car terrorizing them is not.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
So she was arrested. She sounds innocent to me. She
seems like she was just helping out the time exactly,
playing tag, that's all.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Sure, they say, Ready, they stay sturdy, ten toes, watch
the six game time.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
You know you gotta gamify the world. Exactly we go. Lastly,
she's sweet to a Florida woman.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
She was arrested for driving a stolen U haul to
her court date.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Oh, come on, she just needed a ride, which is.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Why they have uber and lived and family members and friends.
And you know he might have reported at the very
least the old shoe Leather Express.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Shoe Leather Express. That's right. I like that. I actually
never heard of that. Uh. LaToya Clark is her name.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
She was arrested yesterday morning while driving a stolen U
Haul on her way to court in Fort Pierce. There
was a license plate reader that identified the twenty twenty
five ram Pro Master U Haul as stolen, and deputy's
pulled her over at eight thirty in the.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Morning, just blocks from the court house.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
She was there, she says, Now, according to this, they
were handcuffing her.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
And she says, I don't know why you're doing this.
I don't know why you are handcuffing me. And they're like, uh.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Well, because yeah, you stole a truck, a U haul,
And she says, oh I know why. So she says,
that's why, Yes, exactly.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
That's why. Yeah, I was doing a good thing.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Well was she because see she rented that U haul.
But she had rented that U haul two months earlier
and never returned it.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Oh, so you know she's still doing the right thing.
She's doing she she is.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
And by the way, the reason that she's going to
court just because she defrauded twenty nine million dollars from
COVID relief programs from ninety two. Bogus claims, LaToya, you're
on your own system. There you go, day depender, day
you tried. You got the first two out of jail.
But sorry, LaToya, this one's going down fraud on you.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Sorry, LaToya.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Well, that was a lot of fun for everybody, you know,
except for those people they got ripped off. Yeah, and
the U haul who is still waiting for their truck
to come back. But we'll do this again every morning
at seven thirty, nine thirty. Remember to listen to the podcast.
