(00:00):
Well you r KO President's Boston's onlynightly sports betting show, The Gambler with

(00:06):
Adam Kaufman covering spreads, props, parlays and more. The Gambler starts now
Here's Adam Kaufman. Game one ofthe NBA Finals is underway in Denver.
Matter of fact, it is nearthe end of the third quarter, and
to really no one's surprise, Iwouldn't think the Nuggets are absolutely blasting the

(00:31):
Miami Heat. It is about atwenty point game right now, and that
has me nervous. It has mevery nervous because I have got a lot
going on in the world of notonly parlays, but specifically props, and
don't need a whole lot to happento cash and have a very good night.
But if the Heat continue to gettheir doors blown off and don't get

(00:53):
a little competitive here in this one, it's it's it's going to continue the
run of it being a really abad situation for me. After yesterday was
a bad day, we need todayto be a much better day, very
good afternoon with baseball. We needa very good evening here on the hardwood.
So for the next few minutes,I'm a heat fan. I'm a
heat fan. I need a run. I need you to keep this thing

(01:15):
close. I don't need to seeall reserves for the final like eight minutes
of the fourth quarter, so wewill see what ends up happening. We
have a lot going on here inthese couple hours. Tonight Live with the
on WRKO until midnight. This isthe Gambler with Adam Kaufman. That's me.
Dan Watkins is here, Hi Dan. Hello. We've also got each
Day Pacheco, our producer, anda couple of guests on the way.

(01:38):
We will largely in this first hour. We'll bounce around in this first segment,
but we will spend much of thisfirst hour looking ahead to Game one
of the Stanley Cup Final, whichis coming your way in just a couple
of days. Gives us a nicelittle runway to preview that game, get
people excited for the Vegas Golden Nights, Bruce Cassidy's Vegas Golden Nights, and
of course the eight seed, theother eight seed from South Florida playing right

(02:00):
now, and that is the FloridaPanthers, who rallied back from down three
one to eliminate the Bruins. Asif We're not still sour about that as
we watch an NBA team that justeliminated the Celtics in seven games a series
Boston should have won. Really twoBoston teams that in our minds should still
be playing. So it's depressing, but nevertheless, Paul Bruno from Rhoda Wire
is going to help us work throughthat and try and at least put our

(02:23):
emotions aside and make a little bitof money going forward. During the Stanley
Cup Final, in the second hourwhen this game is over, we will
have Eric Lindquist from odd Shopper andStochastic back with us. He will obviously
will break down what happened here tonight, we'll look ahead to game two give
you a betting preview of that. So, as I said, much going

(02:44):
on. We're also tracking the people'sparlay, which circles back to the whole
concern over a blowout. Because Dan'spicked the Red Sox. It took a
little while for the offense to getgoing, but they did their job.
A money line win for Boston andnot to mention ending at skid against the
Cincinnati Reds. Finally, it wasBoston's offense that erupted. Congrats if you

(03:05):
took the over nine and a half, just barely hit with the eight to
win over at Fenway, to keepthem just barely above five hundred. And
we'll get into that in a coupleof moments as well. And also with
this game, the other two legsof that parlay, those are the concern
right now. Cantavius called, well, Pope, we need three rebounds from
him in total. He has two, but again we're nearing the end of

(03:27):
the third quarter. He left fora little while with an injury, but
he is back, so that's good. And the leg that is most certainly
not going to hit, which isnicolea Yokich And this leg made me nervous
in the first place, but hey, you know what, everyone has their
leg twenty seven and a half pointsover. He is right now sitting at
fifteen. He's at the free throwline. It's not impossible. It's not
impossible. I just him not abig believer in it. He is.

(03:51):
Also, this will make Dan veryhappy. I hope you put money on
it. Dan. One rebound awayfrom the triple double. Oh yeah,
oh yeah, we're waiting on Ineed that board, need that board,
need that board. But just I'ma little surprised though, after how we've
heard from a lot of people Jonathanwas big on this last night that he
wasn't going to be the facilitator tonight, and he has been the facilitator and

(04:13):
more this evening. Only get tenplus assists in the first half. Yeah,
yeah, that just smashed almost immediatelythe KCP leg that were waiting on.
I was feeling real good about itwhen he had two rebounds in the
first quarter. But we'll see whathappens here as we go on. We're
gonna definitely need Miami and more thanjust Bam out of Bio to start scoring
here. And you know, maybeCaleb Martin or Max Strus show up to

(04:34):
this game to debind one for sixteen. Do they know the games in Denver
one for Yeah, maybe they dobecause of the altitude or whatever else.
You know, buddies have been textingme because I sent out a snide tweet
saying, like you know, ofcourse, Caleb Martin and Max Strucer.
I'll just update it right now. We'll combine one for sixteen. Martin's the
only one who was hit a shot. Struce is not only O for nine,

(04:56):
he's O for eight from three pointrange. I mean just in a
b small night in his twenty minutesand as my buddies did correctly point out,
and I agree with this, Ididn't even argue against it. It
was you know, we'd all liketo just sit here and say Waters found
its level. These guys are justshooting terribly. But truthfully, it's in

(05:17):
part not only the way they're beingdefended by Denver, but just the personnel
that Denver has in the first place, which you know Boston did not.
You know, for instance, AaronGordon, Michael Porter Junior. They're just
gigantic human beings that I mean. They've blocked multiple jump shots here in this
game, so it's size that Bostoncould not compete with. And I also

(05:43):
I this is not new. Thisis not like recency bias or reflection of
what we're watching right now with Denverup twenty one nearing the end of three.
I said this multiple times on thisshow. I've said it on my
Celtics theme podcast, I've said iton Twitter, I've said it all over
the place. As much as Iwould have loved a couple more weeks of
watching the Celtics, my bank rollwould not have enjoyed that, but I,
as a fan, would have enjoyedthat. I don't think they were

(06:05):
going to be Denver. I reallydon't. I think the Nuggets were going
to win that. Maybe it wouldhave been a longer series than this one
will be. Maybe it would havebeen more closely contested games. I don't
know. There's no way to know. But this just has for a little
while felt like Denver's year. Andyou know, so long as they were

(06:25):
healthy, which they are, thisNuggets team is exceptional. It is a
wildly fun to watch, incredibly talented, incredibly deep team. Well yeah,
and going back to your point, they're on the size of Aaron Gordon and
Michael Porter Jr. I'm hoping thatBrad Stevens is watching this tonight after his
press conference this afternoon where he talkedabout how, you know, loving the
corn just gonna make some minor tweaks. I think size is something that the

(06:47):
Celtics could use, and I'm hopingthat they, you know, maybe get
nudged in that direction here by seeinghow Denver's gonna probably keep man handling Miami
throughout this series. Max drus overnine from three and over ten overall,
My god, what just out ofcuriosity. I know this is you know,

(07:08):
we joke all the time. It'slike asking somebody about their fantasy team.
As far as the listeners out there, But what are some of the
key things, the biggest things thatyou are needing that you are rooting for
tonight and hoping this game does notcontinue at the rate that it is going
where it's just a monstrous blowout.Well, I stupidly talked myself into taking
the points with Miami, So there'sthat we can start. We can start

(07:29):
there. We need what two pointsfrom Gabe Vincent to hit the over,
Yeah, we need to use itwas twelve and a half. He's at
eleven, so I could use thatpretty much. Gonna chalk up the Yoki
points and the People's parlay as aloss at this point. And then I
got a couple other minor baseball playslike a Germy Pania total based prop but
the Red Sox Red Sox line andthe Red Sox money line, and then
a little side same game parlay Idid as well, paired with a Chris

(07:51):
Sale strike out, which this mightbe the last time we see Chris Sale
for a while too. By theway, I don't know if you've heard
that. Yeah, I know heleft her, but what was did alex
Core provide any sort of update?Kora just talked and from what I've gathered
here on Twitter is that he's goingto get an MRI tomorrow. They're concerned
over the drop of velocity. Hewas throwing ninety six and the first first

(08:13):
inning and then he was topping outaround like ninety three. After that,
he did get back up to ninetyfive on like his last pitch, but
then that's when they the trainers cameback out and they're like, Okay,
you're done. So see in amonth probably left left shoulder sore nous MRI
on Friday. That's the latest here, Just when you thought maybe they were
kind of turning things around here andheading into a very big series with Tampa

(08:33):
Bay this weekend. Not great, great, Nope. I need a lot
of things, but the most importantthings that I need right now, which
should not be difficult as long asthese guys remain in the game. We'll
see. I need one three pointerout of Michael Porter Junior. He's taken
eight, he's hit two. Ineed one more and I need one more

(08:58):
point from Jamal Murray. Oh isit twenty four and a half? Was
that his line? H? Well, I I need twenty five. I
don't as just part of this thisparticular bed, but I think I if
I remember right, I think hewas twenty six and a half for the
official over under. But I needone more point from him, one more

(09:20):
three from Porter and I can havea very good night. And I'm very
nervous about it. It's very concerned. Shouldn't be very concerned. We need
Miami to show up here just alittle bit. Shooting terribly. I mean,
I know we highlighted Martin Struce, but seven for twenty seven from three
point right went dec It's like theyyou know, we're they're channeling the Boston

(09:41):
Celtics in game six and seven.Actually they're still a little bit better.
But did they shake hands after Gameseven? Maybe something from the Celtics rubbed
off ransfer. Yeah, it's likethe Monstars, Yeah, exactly, game
through their blood or physical whatever stream. I don't even know. Shooting thirty
six percent over, it's just beenbad. It has been bad. The
Nuggets obviously are winning in virtually everyway, although credit to Miami, they're

(10:09):
winning the turnover battle. They've onlygot five there. That's because Denver just
keeps scoring. Yeah. True,It's true. It's true. So it's
you know, it's uh, itjust is it too much to ask for
a competitive game? Really? Neverknow? Never? No, I mean
I was talking to EJ right beforewe went on air here that I was

(10:31):
kind of getting the feeling like Gameone of the Western Conference Finals here tonight.
So this is about the time whereDenver kind of you know, took
their foot off the gas. LetLebron and the Lakers come back in the
game. So we'll see if JimmyButler here can make a run in the
fourth quarter, if he even playsin the fourth quarter at this rate.
Well, it's all right. Wefinally got a three pointer from the heat.
We just need like a six sevenold run out of Miami to just

(10:54):
remind Denver there's still a game goingon, right, No, would be
big for that eight and a halftoo. So it's true. I actually
did take the Nuggets to cover. But you know, I, as mentioned
for a range of proper related reasons, I would like a closer game.
I would be willing to eat thatone if it meant some of the other
bets hit, right, We'll seeye. So, like I said,

(11:18):
we've got some big plans here onthis show. We will turn the page
momentarily when we come back talk withPaul Bruno from Rhoda Wire. Get into
the Stanley Cup Final. I'll diga little deeper into that than we have
been so far this week. We'vebeen mainly fixated on NBA. People tend
to be more on basketball and theydo hockey. It's just the reality of
it. So if you're a gianthockey fan, sorry, we haven't been

(11:39):
on it enough. And if you'renot a big hockey fan, well sorry
because we're about to do a wholelot of hockey. So it just depends
on your perspective. Obviously, thirteenpoint game here, so maybe there's hope.
And also, like I said, much more basketball with Eric Lindquist in
the second hour, so stay withus. Bruno. On the other side,
it's The Gambler with Adam Kaufman wr KO Sick and tired of old

(12:01):
sports talk and want to get rightinto the action. The Gambler with Adam
Kaufman. As you covered, callus now in six one seven two six
six six eight six eight. That'ssix one seven two six six six eight
six eight. The Gambler with AdamKaufman will be right back after this is
on WRKO. Listeners of w RKOare all too familiar with the cornerman.

(12:28):
Well have you met the statsman?Welcome back to The Gambler with Adam Kaufman.
I'm not the statsman. I'll tellyou who is Paul Bruno. He
covers NHL in particular, among othersports, but mostly hockey for Rhoda Wire.
It's great to have you back,Pablo. How are you my pleasure?
Pal? Let's get into it.The Stanley Cup Finals, finally getting
under away after it seems like afew more too many days off. I

(12:50):
know what have you been doing withyourself? Well, sharpening up the golf
game, just like my favorite clubhere in Toronto. That's been my lot.
And the game's in pretty good order, I gotta say. All right.
So we've got Vegas against Florida, another eight seed underdog from South Florida,
trying to win a championship as wesit here, somewhat focused on the

(13:11):
Heat, trying to make a comebackagainst the Nuggets in Game one. Panthers
entered the playoffs, Paul with thirtyfive to one odds to win the Cup,
which would be the longest odds forany champ in more than thirty years.
Those odds actually grew substantially or plummeted, depending on your perspective, to
one fifty to one when they trailedBoston three one, which is not a
memory I feel like reminding people of, but nevertheless, it happened, and

(13:33):
since the Panthers of one eleven totwelve, despite not being favored in any
of those games. So let meask you, do you finally believe in
the Panthers. They've shown me.I mean, I'm not from Missouri,
but they've really shown me and anybodyelse who's paying attention. I really like
their style of play, and it'spunctuated by a four checking style. I

(13:54):
mean, I've seen a lot ofhockey for over decades, but I've never
seen a four checking plan, andlike these guys put in place. I
was at the games in Toronto andI've never seen wingers on top of defenseman
so deep in the zone. Theywere right on the leaf defenseman at the
goal line. And in terms ofthat, you see hits tallied for both

(14:16):
clubs and all every game played. But I want listeners to keep an eye
on the quality of hits, theimpactful hits, and you're going to see
Florida has had a wide margin inthat category to my eyes, throughout the
whole playoffs. Now I wonder howthat's going to pan out against a Vegas
club that's a little bit bigger interms of overall size, But I think

(14:39):
the speed of the Panthers will stillput them in position to implement that style
of play, and I really thinkit's going to give them a real good
shot in this series. I'll getmore specific in my line of questioning,
but just sort of overarching thoughts. How do you plan to bet this series,
or more specifically Game one? Well, I'm looking at Florida on the
road. They've been dynamic in theplayoffs, and in fact, road teams

(15:01):
in general have been really good,So I don't mind taking a crack at
them on the money line. That'sa narrow favorite of a narrow figure of
plus one ten, but it's ait's a it's a plus, so I'll
take it. I feel if you'regoing to bet Vegas, you'd be wiser
to go with them on the puckline, which currently stands at plus one
ninety five. I'd rather, I'drather take the money and make it a

(15:24):
bigger payoff if if a cannon. Those are the two situations that I'm looking
at in Game one. I noticemoney line favorites have dominated the Camp Final
since the O five oh six season, fifteen and two the record in game
ones, and that's part of afifty three and fifteen record games one through
four. So do the trends meananything to you? Or do you just

(15:46):
look at it and say, newteams, new year, new series,
knew all that. I go atthe new team, new series and momentum,
and where I see momentum is inFlorida's favor and really the fact that
this thing is opening up on theroad for them might even be a plus
because the pressure is on the homeside here. Vegas is the favorite to

(16:06):
win this series if you look atit in plain sight, then one thirty
on the money line versus A plusone ten And I got mentioned for Florida
on the money line. There tellsyou that story in game one, and
it's mirrors what the odds are almostsimilar for the entire series. But I
like Florida on the road to sendan early message and create some early jitters
in Vegas a situation. So it'sunfolding and a very good way for the

(16:30):
Panthers, and I think they feelreally good about it. Most of the
bets most of the handle on Floridain Game one that a plus number,
as you mentioned, although more ofthe handle percentage of the handle is on
Vegas with the puck line the goalline at minus one and a half,
more of the bets on the Panthersat that plus one and a half.
Vegas is eleven and six against thepuck line this postseason, Florida twelve and

(16:52):
four, so obviously both very verygood. Which trend do you think is
most likely to continue in this series? I think Florida has the edge in
that category. They play it verytight, and I think that the goaltending
will be an edge too, Solook for them to have low scoring totals
and maybe eke out a few gameswhere they pop a couple of empty net

(17:12):
goals to get to that two goalmargin that's critical for the puck line victories.
I don't see either team really blowingthe other one out like we saw
in the last game of the WesternConference Final. That was a bit of
an anti climactic finish, wasn't it? These teams too, It's such a
small history. I was surprised, well, maybe not surprised, because as

(17:33):
we know, Vegas has only beenaround for a very short time, and
it's not like Florida has been aroundfor an eternity either. But these teams
only met twice during the regular season. They've only met ten times I think
all time period, being in differentconferences, and like I said, Vegas
only coming around a few years back. But two meetings during the regular season
this year, home team won bothtimes. Both games went under the six

(17:56):
and a half goals, which fiveand a half is the total I'm looking
at for this game. Aiden HillSergay Robrovsky. They started in both of
those games, so you have thatto lean on. I suppose, what
do you what kind of game doyou think we're going to get? I
know you said, do you thinkFlorida keeps it close? But do you
think low scoring as well? Ido lean in that direction for game one.

(18:17):
At least, these teams don't knowa lot about each other, so
you're going to see a lot ofcaution early on. I don't think they're
going to be pinning their ears backand going offensive minded at each other,
though they each have that said, they had each got threats right through the
lineup one. Line one through linefour has done damage for both clubs in
these playoffs. But I just thinkit's like a heavyweight prize fight in game

(18:40):
one, and I look for alow scoring tilt and the goalies will continue
to shine. They certainly have beenon the top of their game, but
who would have forecast a matchup betweenBubrowski and Hill being a signature lean toward
a low scoring possibility at the beginningof the season. Paul, seeing the
total here at five and a half, it has pretty much been hitting the

(19:03):
under every single game here for Florida. As of late, the under is
eight and one since Game one ofthat second round series against Toronto. It
sounds like you're expecting that to bethis to follow suit here too. I
do, because I really have becomea believer in their signature style of play.
Like I said up off the top, I've never seen a Ford check
as dedicated and as intense as whatthe Panthers roll out. Like I said,

(19:27):
both teams have the ability line onethrough line four to score, but
I'm counting on Florida's offense offense tobe speedier than some of the Vegas events.
I'm concerned about the four, fiveand six members of the defense corp
for Vegas being easy prey because they'renot very mobile, and I think that's

(19:48):
something you want to watch for andwill help the Florida keep a lid on
the Vegas offense, which has hadpretty much the run of play in their
first three series. They won't.They haven't seen a four check Florida will
throw at them tomorrow, and Ithink that's going to be an eye opener.
And with the under in mind there, that makes me look at the
goalie props and specifically save props forthis game. Both of them are sitting

(20:11):
at twenty nine and a half orBobrowski and Hill. These guys have been
hitting the overs on these lately quitea bit, but when you look deeper
at the stats, neither one ofthese teams really throws thirty shots on net
too frequently unless we get overtime.Yeah, I'm looking at the under for
both goalies, particularly in Game one, goes hand in glove with what I'm
trying to say to you about myexpectation for almost a low event game,

(20:33):
at least in the first outing, and it could be the indicative of the
narrow margin between these teams that Isee right off the top. So for
game one, I'm definitely looking ata low chance situation. Might look like
a soccer game on ice, andI hate soccer, but I think I
think you're going to see low shottotals on both clubs in the opener.

(20:56):
Yeah, a little stat for youguys. So Vegas has only put up
thirty shots in two games since thestart of the Western Conference Finals. Both
those games went to overtime. Floridahas only put up thirty shots in two
games since the end of the firstround, and both of those games went
to overtime as well. Michael PorterJunior is making me pull my hair out,
and I just want to add thatwe're needed to hit the threes two

(21:19):
for ten right now? Do youstress over that? When I know you're
you know, basketball isn't as nearand dear to you, Paul, but
when when fixated on hockey, doyou how how heavily do you dive into
the prop market where just in gameyou're going nuts looking for you know,
when a shot or or whatever itmay you know obviously the standard goals assists

(21:40):
whatever are or are you much moreof a I'm going to stick with totals
and money line and spread and allthat and not drive yourself nuts in game.
I hate the props that you know, shot props and and hit props
and block shots because it's so it'sso poorly done in some markets. Let
me be very blunt about this.I mean, you're talking to a guy
that created that program that now hasmorphed into something that every league and in

(22:06):
the world use it. And that'sreal time scoring where they have a six
pack of people up in the standslooking at the games, and one guy's
responsible to keep an eye an eyeon shots, another guy's keeping an eye
on the faceops, another guy's keepingan eye on hits. And I don't
know that the definition of each ofthose is the same from one rink to
the next. I would like tofor it to have been. But before

(22:29):
I had a chance to influence thataspect, some thirty years ago, we
sold off the whole property. Sothat's a little bit of an inside story
that I've never told on the yearbefore. But it's the truth, and
there's no consistency around the league. For instance, Carolina Carolina Hurricanes have been
renowned as the highest shooting team interms of shots on goal props. But

(22:49):
I don't know that it's one hundredpercent accurate. So that's why I stay
away from those those numbers and wouldrather take the basic game lines that we
talk about, talk line totals andmoney lines. That's really interesting. We'll
have to dive deeper into that atsome point here, but more on the
Stanley Cup Final. Paul Bruno stickaround with us, will you know,

(23:10):
come back on the other side, get into some of the stuff that drives
Paul crazy, some of the propsand things like that, as well as
just obviously where we can. Youknow, it's a there's unlike this,
like Nuggets Heat series coming in.There's value all over the place to be
had between the Golden Knights and Panthers. So we're gonna dig in. We're
gonna find some of our favorite thingswhen we come back here on the Gambler

(23:30):
with Adam Kaufman. Need a ventabout bad bets, You've come to the
right place. Tell us about it. Call six one seven two six six
six eight six six one seven twosix six six eight six eight, or
if you're listening on the iHeartRadio app, use the talkback button. The Gambler
with Adam Kaufman will be right backafter this on WRKO. There's a reason

(23:57):
why a popular prop bet was WilliamNicole Yokich average a triple double in the
NBA Finals. It's because here inGame one already a triple double in the
NBA Finals. He has got theten three bound to go along with fourteen
assists, twenty seven points. Rightnow for Yoki one more people's parlay.

(24:18):
I know he's missed two. Heneeds one more point for the people's parlay
to hit, and we've got aboutthirty seconds left. So any chance he'll
go to the free throw line,Any chance I can get my three pointer
for Michael Porter Junior he's two forten. Probably not, but we'll keep
your posted on it. We aretalking hockey despite my little intro there with
Paul Bruno from Rhoda Wire looking aheadat the Stanley Cup Final. Game one

(24:41):
is Saturday night in Vegas against theFlorida Panthers, and Paul we were talking
obviously a lot about kind of hada bad how you would bet that type
of thing. But as I mentioned, this series is a and it's a
virtual pick him if you're just lookingat, you know, outright winner.
I'm seeing Vegas at you know, right around minus one twenty Florida right around

(25:03):
plus one hundred. It depends bookto book, obviously, But where are
you looking to get creative at all? For instance, are you looking to
get into series spreads or total gamesor anything like that, or are you
just in a series like this wherethey are relatively evenly matched, at least
in terms of respect level. You'rejust gonna, you know, pick your

(25:26):
winner. I'm gonna do have somefun with some player props. I noticed
the DraftKings has a whole raft ofspecial player specials that some of them are
quite intriguing. I'm looking at afew right now, like Alex Petranjelo drives
a lot of the offense for Vegas, and there's a something that says it'll
record two plus assist in any onegame. That's even money. So I

(25:48):
kind of like that one Mark Stoneof the same club even money to get
to assists in a game. Montouron the other side, to get to
assist. This is a guy thatlogs thirty minute it's a game some nights
for Florida. That's a minus oneforty. If you look for Matthew to
Chuck to be active, maybe hegets a lot of shots one game.
If he gets as many as sevenin a game, that pays a plus

(26:11):
one seventy five. I really likethat one because that guy lives in front
of the net and he'll get inthe way of shots and tip a few,
I think on a bad night.Even so, I'm intrigued by that
one. Then look at a guylike Jack Eichel. He's had a fantastic
playoff in his coming out party, first time in the postseason. Point a
game guy for him to get twoplus goals, that's a plus set one

(26:33):
seventy five. So there's ways tolook at the individual player props and the
specials. You look at the mostgoals in a series. A guy that's
been underrated by many, but makeno mistake about it, Alexander Barkoff is
probably the most talented offensive player onthe Florida Panthers. He's plus nine hundred
to be the guy that gets mostgoals in a series. And I would

(26:53):
sprinkle some dough on that one becausehe has been a leading scorer on this
club for years, and he's beena little bit overshadowed by mouthin TOUCHUK.
But the fact is he's the numberone center on the power play and on
a regular ship. So there's justa few of a grab bag of options
that I'm looking for in the individualplayer props that have caught my eye.

(27:14):
How significant, like how incredible aseries would someone who's a little more unheralded
have to have to realistically get intothe con smythe conversation right now, Bobrovski
is the understandable favorite, Chuck rightbehind him Chael and Marchaso on the other
side. But you know, AidenHill, for instance, is plus one

(27:34):
thousand if Vegas comes out wins thisseries in five games. Is you know,
is that all of a sudden lookinglike a really smart pick because as
we know, I mean this isthis is a playoff award, This is
not just a Stanley Cup Final roundaward. Well, if he comes up
with a couple more shutouts like hedid in the third round, you can

(27:55):
certainly build a case for him.People are talking about Bobrovski having an outstanding
playoff, but Aiden Hill recorded twoshutouts in the Western Conference Final. I'm
suggesting to you if he gets twomore shoutouts in the Stanley Cup Final,
that'll go a long way to buildinghis case. If, on the other
hand, you're looking at a workhorsedefenseman who might shine in a low scoring
series, you can make a casefor the top end guys on both clubs.

(28:17):
Alex Petrangelo had been targeted in theprevious series by Dallas. That didn't
go unnoticed by the league powers thatbe that suspended the captain of the Stars
for a couple of games for beinga little bit excessive in that department.
That just underscores how important Petrangelo canbe. And so a guy like him,
a guy like Montour, they canshine and maybe elevate themselves into the

(28:38):
consomit discussion if it's a potentially lowscoring series. But otherwise, all things
being equal, I think it's goingto be the offensive leaders that kind of
make the case or to try tounseat Pobrovski, who has to be considered
the favorite at this stage. Imean, if the Chuck scores another three
game winners, maybe he gets itover over his goalie. That would be
a pretty significant out too. Paul, what's your feeling on a guy like

(29:02):
Jonathan Marshasso, who had a monsterConference final. I'm looking at him plus
thirteen hundred for most points in theseries, plus six hundred for most goals.
He has seven goals in his lastseven games. Yeah, marcso is
not a guy that you think aboutin terms of dynamic game breakers, but
a really solid pro and I thinkit'll be He'll be hard pressed to duplicate

(29:25):
what he did in the last seriesthat would call it an exceptional performance.
I don't see him being the guythat can double down on that. I'd
be more interested in his life histeammate Jack Eichel, who, as I
said, has been a point pergame player in the playoffs, and if
the the Vegas offense comes to thefour, he's a guy that I think

(29:47):
is more apt to garner more ofthe scoring stats. And even Mark Stone,
he's been mister Everything for this club, the captain and the heart and
soul of the club. So I'drate those guys as more sensible plays than
Marco on the eve of Game one, fair enough. And then what about
a guy like Barberschev, who Iknow a lot of people have been targeting
here lately. Yeah, depth player. I mean in terms of being a

(30:08):
guy most goals in a series.I'm looking at plus twenty five hundred.
That tells you there's a lot moreoptions ahead of him on that list,
and I just think you mentioned him. It makes me think of the roster
construction of both these teams, infact, when they've got two signal,
two really good players, and theyput a sidekick in to augment the lines

(30:30):
in each case if you go throughthe top three lines, and I think
Barberschev would qualify as one of thesidekicks rather than one of the top players
on the line that he's playing withright now. So I kind of shy
away from that pick. And thenone of my favorite props here is the
head to head battle between the twoSAMs in this series. That's Sam Bennett
and Sam Reinhart. The odds areeven in this one, which Sam are

(30:52):
you going with? I'm gonna gowith Sam Bennett just because of the Florida
angle. I think he's a guythat is to make a difference more of
a difference than his counterpart in thisseries, and so I'll stick with my
Florida Lena, if I may do, you like to have some fun with
the anytime goal scorers, some guysthat you would throw out for game one,

(31:15):
no question about that. I likethat prop most nights during the regular
season, so I'll again sprinkle somemoney on the heavy favorites. But also
that's when I go a little bitdeeper into the rosters, and I might
say, Okay, let's take alook on the second line for both clubs
and put a little money on thoseguys too, because they're gonna play about

(31:36):
seventeen minutes a game too, andsome of those guys in high leverage minutes,
So a guy like a Riley Smithor Anthony Duclair will get more of
a look from me in those situations. Paul betting aside before we let you
go, And I guess betting isa very natural tie into this question anyway.
But how do you think this playsout? You know how many games?

(31:56):
Who wins all of it? I'mtaking Florida in six games, and
I think Cinderella story that has thefinal chapter to be written. And they're
not the same team they were inthe regular season, but they might be
the same team that won the President'sTrophy last year. How about that comparison?
People tend to forget that aspect ofthe growth of this team over the

(32:21):
last couple of years. And theythey went the distance in the regular season,
but they find tuned things and maybethey focused themselves a little bit differently,
and they were they were constructed differentlythis season too. I'll fall back
in the comment that I opened thesegment with they they lean on a very
heavy four check game that I haven'tseen the likes of in many, many

(32:42):
years, and I think that's goingto open some eyes and be a tough
thing for for Vegas to overcome. And I just worry about Aid and Hill
on the big stage. But Brovskyhas certainly had his coming out party.
And you know, I've I've doggedhim for years because he hasn't lived up
to the billing of that I'm trackedin the past. But he sure looks
every bit of that ten million dollargoalie right now, and I just think

(33:05):
that gives him a big edge overover Vegas. I'll call it uncertainty because
I need to see more from AidenHill than just the outstanding series in the
Western Conference Final. It's really beena wild trend lately in the NHL.
The year after a team wins thePresident President's Trophy they go on to win
the Cup, especially if Florida doesit this year. You had Colorado the
year before, Tampa did it,Washington did it, So that kind of

(33:29):
gives me hope for the Bruins.I was gonna say, you say,
next year is the Bruins here?He kind of gives me hope. They're
gonna look different next year. Ithink it's very different. Yeah, who
returns, Paul Bruno? You willreturn to this show at some point in
time during the Stanley Cup Final.I'm sure of it. Thank you so
much. Sure it's been fun mostlyfor me, guys. I hope our

(33:51):
listeners enjoyed it too, I haveno doubt. Thanks so much again,
Paul Bruno from RhE to Wire Andif you missed any of that conversation,
a whole lot of great advice overthe last you know, half hour or
so, definitely check out the podcast. It will be posted shortly after the
show, available to you over thenext couple of days. You can jump
in, make your pre series orpregame one bets. A lot of great

(34:15):
information has mentioned. The Gambler withAdam Kaufman, available to you iTunes or
Apple Stitcher, wherever you get yourpodcasts. Obviously iTunes, Apple all over
the place, so still exist.Yeah, I don't think it does.
Isn't it like Apple podcasts? Now? I think it shows how old I
am. All right, we gottago. We will be back and do

(34:35):
a little bit of a debrief andsulk about our NBA bets when we return.
Sick and tired of old sports talkand want to get right into the
action. The Gambler with Adam Kaufman, as you covered call us now with
six one seven two six six sixeight six eight. That's six one seven
two six six six eight six eight. The Gambler with Adam Kaufman will be

(34:58):
right back after this. On rKO, we returned to the guest line
with Eric lind Quiz from Odd Shopperand Stochastic. Good friend of this program.
I am Adam Kaufman. It's TheGambler with Adam Kaufman, Dan Watkins,
Zerie J. Pacheco our producer, and Game one is Final Nuggets in
a score that was much closer thanwatching the game would have indicated in terms

(35:21):
of level of competition, one ohfour ninety three Nugs dispatched the heat in
Game one I think, Eric, this is going to be a pretty quick
series. The Denver is going towin. Felt that way going in.
Feel it all the more so afterthis game tonight. How you doing and
how'd you think of it? I'mdoing great, my bike, my guy?
How you doing? I'm a yeah, just kind of in the aftermath

(35:43):
of everything. I thought it wasgoing to be in five. I mean,
I gotta probably switch that to fourat this point in time. I
have no idea what I just witnessed. It was Haywood Highsmith, the second
best player on the floor for theMiami Heat in limited time we had,
I mean, Robinson and Martin afinally missed shots. I mean, is
it is really tough to imagine thatthe Miami Heat win a series going forward

(36:07):
where Denver didn't even shoot thirty percentfrom three themselves. Pretty wild that that's
an actual fact. It's true, eight of twenty seven for the Nuggets versus
thirteen of thirty nine for Miami, and so obviously neither one was even good.
But to your point, you know, looking at whether it was Miami
and it's again, it's the roleplayers like Jimmy Butler's never going to put

(36:29):
up a ton of three point triesand you're certainly not getting anything out of
Bam in that way. Bam Ata great night, by the way,
but just you know, he's closeto the basket. So yet Caleb Martin
go one for seven from the field. Max Drush, I know, is
not this elite shooter, but ohfor ten, he's a lot better than
that. Robinson, Duncan Robinson whoyou mentioned one for six, including one
for five from three. It's sortof you know there, it kind of

(36:52):
quieted what we saw on the otherside, which was truly a cold three
point shooting night for Michael Porter Juniortwo of eleven which was horrible, and
constantly for me Jamal Murray, whohad himself a very good night but just
two of seven from long range.Do you expect both of these teams to
heat up in game two? Like, I'm just sort of thinking ahead to

(37:13):
player props and how do you playthis and how do they respond and all
that. What's your expectation? Yeah, I think it was a really hard
game to get a grasp on whatthe pace would look like. I thought
that, you know, if youwere going to do anything a shorting of
the total they're sitting around two seventeenand a half. That would have made
sense obviously, definitely in the aftermathof it. Now sitting at two thirteen

(37:35):
and a half, you'll look atboth teams. I mean, thirty three
point three percent from twenty nine pointsix percent from three for the Nuggets,
I would expect better shooting to bein store. One team coming in off
of a really strenuous seven game series, one team that hasn't played since nineteen
ninety four. I think it makessense that at the time off, maybe
Denver found their legs there as theywent along. I've bet I expect them

(38:00):
to be sharper next time out too. I mean Bruce Brown four seven from
the field, two for three fromthree as well. I mean, they
just have those extra pieces that canknock down shots. I mean, if
if Miami doesn't go completely ballistic andshoot forty five fifty from three and at
least one of these next three games, I don't see them winning one.
What sort of like thinking about thisfrom a betting perspective and how you think

(38:23):
you will bet game two? AndI guess you have plenty of time to
think about it if the next gameisn't still freaking Sunday. But as you
think about this, like was thisgame an indication of anything dramatic? And
what I mean by that is,would you look at Caleb Martin and his
one for seven in twenty five minutesand only three points? He was,

(38:43):
you know, no assists, hewas quiet on the glass? Are you
going to ride Caleb Martin unders forinstance? Do you think he's going to
snap back from this? Do youthink that Gabe Vincent on the other side,
who was very efficient and very effective, he's going to keep that up?
Or do you look for a regressionthere? What kind of not patterns?
Obviously you've, as far as I'mconcerned to one game sample size,

(39:04):
because only this series matters. Whatdo you take from game one into game
two? Yeah, we'll see kindof what the Meg Dirk reaction is.
For some of these books. Isee a lot of numbers up the Draft
Game, Sports Book, Caesar's PointsBet, a lot of spots that did
just release lines here for Sunday's game, we got a little bit of time
to digest it, but you dowant to get in on some of these
lines early. If there's something thatif you can sniff out a line too,

(39:25):
I think the one that's changed themost from game one to Game two
as I'm looking at it right upto bat Sjamal Murray five and a half
Asis now moved to six and ahalf as the prevailing line with mis one
twenty five juice on the ender. So it hasn't gone crazy, but I
mean something like that makes some senseas far as Caleb Martin specifically goes.
I think we all expected negative shootingregression and the two big plays I had

(39:47):
from this game where Nicola Yokich tripledouble and over sixteen and a half points
from Bamata Bio, those are prettyeasy clinches on both of those. But
I was a little bit upset.I was on Live before LO with Greg
Ehrenberg and going through some numbers andseeing only an eighteen percent usage from Caleb
Martin throughout that last series against Boston. That was kind of alarm bells off

(40:09):
in my head. Where if hedoesn't have a seventy three percent true shooting
percentage like he had throughout that series, you do run into regression like this
where you're sweating out him scoring abucket, I mean one per seven from
the field three points, huge hugeoutlier that he had in the last series
and now a huge outlier on theother end. It's got to be somewhere
in the middle. But we'll seewhere books end up landing. Specifically with

(40:30):
him, because I do not seeany numbers available for him as of right
now. What about someone like JimmyButler, Like, you know, I
think it's under twenty over under twentysix and a half for Game two,
and obviously it was whatever exactly itwas, but it was somewhere in that
territory. For Game one he waswell below that. He thirteen points,

(40:51):
didn't shoot well, he was sixor fourteen, but was also as this
is kind of typical of him,he was more of a facilitator, get
his teammates involved, tends to I'msurprised I didn't ride the under harder,
quite frankly, because he does tendin not only in game ones of series,
but just first halves of games ingeneral, to be a bit more
passive, you know, get likeI said, get his teammates involved,

(41:13):
you know, be more of thatthat guy that's that's sort of running the
show as opposed to taking over early. And uh when he when he does
more of that, it happens latealthough tonight we we just never really saw
that. Or are you inclined togo under twenty six and a half for
him in game two? I wouldbe inclined. That's it's kind of an

(41:34):
efficient line as far as I'm concerned. I mean, it's it's a game
that got a little bit walky towardsthe end. He did play thirty eight
minutes they're seeing you know exactly whatyou talked about. Fifth line, he
goes over by the hook seven assiststonight. Um As far as him distributing,
I mean, Bam Auto Bio hadit going on the interior. I
think he was always going to belike an offensive catalyst in this series.

(41:58):
Last series we saw more of whathis passing acumen can be. He definitely
was out there creating himself, andit's kind of flip flopped from series to
series between him and Butler, whokind of asserts themselves early. But if
Aham out of Bio has it goinglike he had from six feet eight feet
from the hoop, I see thereason that he was getting fed twenty five
shot attempts just four team for JimmyButler, I think the big question mark

(42:19):
for me if you look at thetail end of that Boston series, if
you saw Jimmy Butler starting to beforced into taking three point shots, he
only took two, And I thinkthat's a little bit concerning for the Miami
Heat because if he's not a willingthree point shooter, the spacing on that
team just gets very, very crampeddown. You have a long six ten
Michael Porter Junior. You have Yokichwho's just basically out there roaming to a

(42:43):
certain extent. He's not the quickest, the most fleet of foot, but
he definitely has some size there toJamal Murray can at least keep somebody in
front of him. Jimmy Butler,if he's going to play with the ball
in his hands and he's not goingto be a willing three point shooter and
knock them down like he did inGame six and seven, at least in
that Boston series, it's going tobe a quick one for Miami. Is
this a sign of things to comefor Gabe Vincent? I don't mean nineteen

(43:06):
points and five threes or something likethat, but if the volume is going
to be there, like is hegoing to take I don't know, six
to seven. It was ten tonight, but six seven three point tries
every game or was this just sortof circumstance and everyone feeling each other out
in Game one. Yeah, DaveBenson's just a good basketball player. Defensively,

(43:29):
He's seventy seventh percent island dunks andthrees. He's always going to be
good and estimated plus minus in thatdepartment. I get a little bit nervous
because Gabe Vinson just as twenty fourthpercent fifty three point six percent true shooter
from the field over the course ofthis regular season, and well, you
can prow a lot of regular seasonnumbers out the window when it comes to
the Miami Heat. There the eighthseed. There were forty four and thirty

(43:49):
eight during the regular season. ButI still think the identity of this team
is slow it down, grind outsome wins, and really outperformed from the
three point line. Dave Vinson wasawesome him from three here tonight, five
for ten Max strus. You expecthim to get somewhere back towards the mean
after oh for nine. But Ithink the thing with Dave Vinson is that
you're not asking him to play thatkind of a role. I think they

(44:10):
need to get back to the JimmyButler bam out of bio two man games
and spots. I mean, Martin, if he can get back to knocking
down shots, that'd be useful too. But they really have to throw the
kitchen sink at Denver and either justreally attacked the hoop with Jimmy Butler,
have him be more assertive here ingame two, or you know, somebody

(44:30):
like Dave Vinson. I mean, you can't ask for a whole lot more
than what you've got out of himin this game one. So I don't
think it's necessarily a sign of thingsto come. It could be a sign
of things to come in terms ofthe minutes. They had a lot of
minutes with Dave Vinson alongside Kyle Loweryto close out that game with Martin coming
off the floor. Martin being assertedinto that starting lineup at the tail end

(44:51):
of last year's because he's made everything. But I think Dave Vinson, you're
pretty much this has got to bethe ceiling for him at this point.
Not a lot of places to getvalue on Denver right now. When I
say that Denver the team obviously interms of props and all that that stuff,
I mean you can go over underwith whatever you want to go.
But when it comes to the team, you know, I'm like Denver minus

(45:14):
one and a half. That's I'mseeing minus two sixty two seventy Oh.
That's not a good number if you'relooking at all. If you believe this
is going to be a quick series, you made reference, maybe it should
be a sweep. Even if youthink it's going to be five Denver minus
two and a half, I'm seeingit minus one thirty. Do you think
that's a good bet right now?It's gotta be. I mean, that's
see, it's like a pretty goodspot to be at this point in time.

(45:36):
India was plus six hundred going intothe series. Is the best number
that I found for a four ohsweep? There nuggets and five, Yeah,
I would feel pretty comfortable with thatnumber. There's nothing you saw for
in game one, especially with Denver. I don't think they played their a
ball by any means, and itwas still pretty comfortable. I don't know

(45:57):
what Miami does other than shoot theball out of the gym to compete in
this series. There's too much length, barring something fluky, some injury,
I mean, the defensive presence, the upgrade and defense this entire season from
Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Junior beingable to be out on the floor.
He doesn't have the same defensive inadequacyhe had early in his career. This

(46:19):
is just an impossible spot for Miamito compete if they don't completely shoot it
out of the gym. So Idefinitely think that two half mice one thirty
you said was the number correct.Yeah, that's really good. You gotta
like that a lot. Eric Linquistis here from Stochastic and odd Shopper.
When we come back, we'll doa little bit more obviously on this series

(46:40):
in basketball, but we are goingto build out the People's parlay. As
I recall, you were part ofa winner when you were here, Were
you not one? And? Oh? All right? We need to get
we need to get off the schneideman are. We love our guests,
but our guests of Dan and Iare four no this week and our guests
serow and two. So we needyou too, Yeah, we need you

(47:02):
to help us out. Pressure ison you when we come back, Lindquist
going to help us build out thePeople's parlay. Stay with us. Sick
and tired of old sports talk andwant to get right into the action.
The Gambler with Adam Kaufman. Asyou covered, call us now with six
one seven two six six six eightsix eight. That's six one seven two

(47:22):
six six six eight six eight. The Gambler with Adam Kaufman. We'll be
right back after this is on WRKO. Not just me, We've got Eric
Lindquist here from Odd Chopper and Sarcasticas well as Dan Watkins and just taking
a little look at some of whatis to come in Game two of the

(47:42):
NBA Finals. Kind Of disappointed though, Lindy that we're not going to get
a series. I know it.How dare we count Miami out after what
the head have done the first threerounds? But I think tonight was telling.
I think tonight reminded everyone that theNuggets, despite the long layoff,
are exactly who everybody thought they were. They're absurd, They're so good,

(48:05):
and it's not going to get easierfor Miami going from here and out.
It just can't be understated. Ithink how Denver played about their B minus
basketball rape from the get go.There was still some rust. They didn't
shoot the ball well. There wasstill some interesting issues defensively, where I
thought Miami got some more open looksthan you'd expect, But overall, Miami's

(48:25):
not a good shooting basketball team.We saw that in the regular season.
They really outperformed themselves against the Celtics, and now, well, this is
just what it is. It's goingto be the Nuggets favorite throughout this thing.
They're gonna open well, I meanit did open at eight and a
half nine pretty much everywhere. Againhere for Game two, it might close
double digits. For Game two,you might be able to look at may

(48:49):
be going plus ten in that directionon a Miami side if it gets there.
But there's no way, there's noway that I envisioned them competing in
this series. Eric, after watchingYokich did tonight where he finished with twenty
seven points, fourteen assists, andten rebounds, is it just an auto
smash on a triple double for himfrom from here on out? I mean,

(49:10):
going into the game tonight, Isaw it was at one ten right
before tip off. It was evenmoney last night in a couple of days
leading up to this series. Nowfor Game two, it's minus one thirty
five for him to have a tripledouble. Are you just auto hitting this
or do you maybe try to findsome value here and hope that he you
know, comes up short with likenine assists one night and get up to
get the plus one oh five.Yeah, you're asking me wrong, guy,

(49:31):
because I think I've been auto smashingthis since the calendar year turned over.
Nick Hooliope, which has definitely beenthe princess of this year for me,
for everybody in the premium discord hereat odd Shopper, anybody who tails
me in my betting card every singleday. It's been a staple, and
it's kind of twofold, mainly becausefor a big man, normally assists are

(49:52):
going to be your biggest sweat almostevery single time. That's not really a
concern for Joker when the year turnedover, because you saw a healthy,
active Jamal Murray for the first timein a long time, a healthy active
Michael Porters Jr. Who went fromone of the worst shooters in the NBA
last year in twenty twenty two interms of true shooting percentage to one of
the better shooters in the Western Conference. And it just can't understated how easy

(50:15):
it is for him to play pickand pop when he has as good as
vision as good as touch as hehas from eight to twelve feet. I
mean, he's just an unstoppable force. So from a betting perspective, you
always want to think about it interms of value. And he's unbelievable that
we were getting plus two ninety onthis back in while it was a Game
three of the Western Conference Finals hereagainst or No. It is the against

(50:37):
Phoenix in that series. But Yokichnow seven of his last nine playoff games
triple doubles. I don't see theengine slowing down here. Bam Adebayo can
add some resistance at the rent toa certain extent, but we saw so
many times he can hit that hierarchand shot kind of keep him on.
It's there for you for easy shotsby the basket there, and then I

(50:59):
think the assist will come even easierthan they did even tonight once shots start
going down on the perimeters. SoI think even at minus one thirty five,
it's going to be on my cardnext time around. Help me out
with this, you mentioned, bamAnd I'm looking at the odd Shopper tools,
and I love the odd Shopper tools, and I'm checking out here Eric,
some of the just very early numbersobviously for game two. Now that

(51:20):
some of the props are being released, and I'm seeing Bam points and the
advised bet if you will is undernineteen and a half points, and that
is one twenty two one fan duelfor instance five percent EV. This man
just had twenty six points. JamalMurray under six and a half assists also

(51:43):
one twenty two five percent EV.This is a man who just had what
tenn asis in this game? Whyare these two particular unders being encouraged here?
So the market based approach when you'retalking about odd Shopper, we're taking
every single sports book that exists thatwe have access to that's available here legally

(52:04):
in the United States, and we'refinding the best of the best line for
you and comparing it across the entiremarket. It's not just projecting it out,
because the way you're going to projectit out is going to be different.
But generally what happens is you're goingto find one book that's either slow
to the draw or that has adifferent take is projecting out a certain player
differently. Now, if we specificallytalk about Bam out of Bio, his

(52:27):
points prop was sixteen and a halfwith minimal juice on the over in game
one, you saw him at twentyfive field goals. Thirteen for twenty five
puts up twenty six. If youchange that to twenty, which would be
I think, still a pretty largeoutcome for Bam out of Bio to attempt
twenty all of a sudden. Youknow, a majority of those are all

(52:50):
two point attempts, and Miami hasnever really been all that good at getting
to the line. That needs tobe a thing that changes for Jimmy Butler
too. But the Miami Heat attemptedtwo free throws tonight two and for Bam
Autobio did not get to the lineagainst Joker. I mean, Joker just
stops from fouling. He is sogood at just staying in the game constantly,

(53:10):
never really gets himself into foul trouble. And so it's going to be
difficult for Bam Auto Bio to replicatewhat you saw tonight, as good as
I feel about it. Being onthe over of sixteen and a half nineteen
and a half, we're talking abouta very very different situation. Well to
your point. One thing that oddShopper offers you look at player cards,
and as Eric said, it's it'sjust an encouraging where you can find the

(53:34):
best bet, the best line.Fan Duel just as an example, has
bam itt under nineteen and a halfpoints one twenty two. The other two
books currently listed, both DraftKings andCaesar's, the numbers different. It's under
eighteen and a half, so youknow, and for very similar minus one
twenty eight at Caesar's, minus onetwenty five at DK so fan Duel just

(53:55):
you know. If you believe thatbam is going to have a lesser night,
but you want to buy yourself theextra point basically, then that's the
move. So yeah, verily interestingtools. Again, I would encourage people
to check them out in your sparetime. They are not free, obviously,
but I enjoy using them and Ithink you might as well. But
any interest of time fellows, andwe got to do this relatively quickly before

(54:16):
the break. Let us build outthe people's parlay for tomorrow. As I
mentioned beforehand, pressures on you, buddy. I mean it's on all of
us, but in particular this weekit feels like the pressures on you.
And I'm sure you remember the rules, but basically they go as follows.
Whichever book you want, wager whateveryou want, but we will all play

(54:36):
this thing together. So where areyou taking us? Don't want to take
you over to? Let's take alittle stroll down Sanduel Lane, shall we?
Sure? Okay? So I willcontinue one. There's one game that
I think there are multiple props inplays from for tomorrow in the baseball streets,
I am highlighting starring circling San Diegoversus Chicago. San Diego gets back

(55:01):
to Petco here in this spot andthey get a nice juicy matchup with Jamison
tie On. Who you know, maybe he needs to put a tie on
and go work in insurance because baseballis not really working out for him at
the moment. Really, pretty mucheverything down the line in terms of his
pitch mix just seems to be alittle bit off this season. He's got
a three sixty four x WOVA fiveor two expected slugging gives the power.

(55:24):
There's some decent lefties obviously want Soto'spretty good at baseball, but Trent Grisham,
Fernando Tatis is going to improve offof this forty two point four percent
hard hit percentage, which isn't nothing. Forty percent kind of being your base
line there, so he's above average, but we expect him to be one
of the more elite hitters in thegame here going forward, they'll still be
playing baseball once again without their guy, Manny Machado, But I am in

(55:47):
love with San Diego here on themoney line, I'm in also love if
you're looking to get really aggressive andwe want to add something to it,
Michael Walka over five and a halfstrikeouts, It's at the top of the
board here on odd shopper as well. We're starting to see his pitch mix
really take off. And he's neverbeen a pitcher I've liked all that much
twenty one point two percent k percentageof the season, but there have been

(56:09):
some drastic changes just in terms ofrpm to some of his fastball spend,
some other things, and he isstarting to generate swing to misses for the
first time in a long time. You go to this Cub's lineup against right
handed pitching, I don't find themto be all that dangerous. Ninety nine
WRC plus just barely below me leagueminimum, but at twenty three point five

(56:29):
percent k rate that's in the tophalf of baseball. Really like him getting
over five and a half strikeouts. But more specifically, let's just hammer San
Diego on the money line for tomorrowover in that game is fun as well,
Dan, what do you have? All right, I'll make this quick.
We're gonna stay here with an NLWest pick. I'm going Giants money
line over the Orioles tomorrow night,Logan Web on the mount against Dean Kremer.

(56:49):
Up, sign me up for that. Give me the Giants Giants money
line. All right, and guys, I'll be honest, this is a
just numbers wise, the Padres andGiants. It's kind of a weak parlay
right now. So I'm gonna getaggressive and I think, Dan, you
know what I'm gonna do. IAm going to the bus, roll up,
find it the Marlins run line,Marlins run line against the Oakland A's,

(57:15):
and that with the Padres on themoney line, the Giants on the
money line, the Marlins at minusone and a half. That brings me
to right around a plus four fiftythree leg parlay. Yep, So here
for it all. Rlet us doit. Let's let's go. Let us
bring us some some luck, someliteral fortune tomorrow. Lyndy, thanks so

(57:36):
much for hopping on, Buddy,I will bug you again, Sue,
and I promise, and they getalways Eric Lindquist, Odd Chopper, Stochastic.
A lot of great tools there atodde Chopper, uh, some of
which have influenced obviously this particular parlay. So we will step aside when we
come back, we'll put this showto bed, and also for the very

(57:57):
first time, come up with ashow parlay that is specific to this show.
Me, Dan, EJ and Iguess all of you. Let's do
it. Need eventa bad bad bets. You've come to the right place,
tell us about it. Call sixone seven two six six six eight six
at six one seven two six sixsix eight six eight, or if you're

(58:21):
listening on the iHeartRadio app, usethe talkback button. The Gambler with Adam
Kaufman will be right back after thison WRKO. It's time to put this
show to bed with my pillow. All right, we've only got a few
minutes, and guys, were youonly need to come up with this now?

(58:42):
We certainly don't have to come uptime to come up with this now,
but we have the people's parlay. If we are going to do this,
if this is going to be athing on a regular basis where the
three of us I'm including producer EJ. Here, the three of us are
going to have a nightly parlay. It needs a name, needs a name.
We're gonna have to think on that. We can brainstorm over the text,
thread, whatever it may be.But People's Parlay has taken so we're

(59:04):
gonna have to put some thought intothat. I mean, we can take
the backup name that was suggested forthe People's Parlay. It was the Gauntlet,
the gambler Gauntlet Gauntlet, Yeah,or maybe we can come up with
something creative using like an acronym fromour initials. I don't know. I'd
have to actually put some thought intothat. Put you write it down.
I'm a visual learner. Write that, write all those initials down those letters

(59:27):
and see if we could spell somethingout that's fun. I don't know,
but we we only have a coupleof minutes to do this. So as
we put this show in to bed, thank you my pillow, and we
look ahead to not only tomorrow, but the weekend, because tonight's Thursday,
we're not back with you until Mondaynext week. EJ, for the first
time, start us off here. What do you have? Yes, there.
So there's a big fight coming upthis weekend too. My favorite flyweights

(59:49):
are fighting. There's a mere Bozzyversus Kaikara France. I feel like Kaikara
is not getting the luck he deservesright now. The line is currently even,
but m I'm gonna have him winningby decision this weekend, all right,
a mirror, No Kaikara fans,We're gonna have you, all right,
So you want you want kai Kara, Yes, sir, Kaikar all
the way on the money line, yes, sir, all right, I've
got it. Dan, all right, I'm going Aiden Hill under twenty nine

(01:00:13):
and a half saves on Saturday nightin Game one of the Stanley Cup Final.
As I mentioned when Paul was onwith US, Florida has only put
up thirty shots in two games sinceGame seven against the Bruins. In both
of those games came in overtime, and one of those was a four overtime
game that they got sixty shots infour overtimes. So give me Aiden Hill
under twenty nine and a half saves, all right, guys, And just

(01:00:35):
to make it quick, I don'tbelieve what we saw tonight was an aberration.
So I am taking Denver to coverthe nine points on Sunday. So
a full weekend parlay, all right, full weekend parlay. Yeah, we
got something. Uh well, itdoesn't even get underway until Saturday, so
we got fight night as well asthe hockey game and obviously Denver on Sunday.
If if it's still alive at thatpoint, and I certainly hope it

(01:00:58):
is, what else Dan before you? We only we've like thirty seconds problem,
Yeah, so what else are youlooking on? Tomorrow? Baseball Friday,
Twins on the money Line with BaileyOber on the mound. They're at
home. They want to walk offfashion tonight, but they're going against Aaron
Sivali tomorrow, who is making hisfirst start since the beginning of April.
He's been out, so I expectedTwins to jump on him, which they
did multiple times last season. Sogive me the twinkies. Actually, one

(01:01:22):
more thing, one more thing, yeah, all right, So I'm gonna
change it up, all right,So we're gonna change it. I'm gonna
change it up. So it's gonnabe a method of victory win. Go
look for a decision win, decisionwin, all right. I gotta go
back to us Kai Kara is itFrance? Is it just France? It's
KaiA France. Yeah, I gottaI gotta go back to the method of

(01:01:44):
victory. So we have buy pointsby ko t ko or by submission those
decision decision. I don't see decision. I got it on DraftKings. It
brings our parlay up to plus eightsixty two. All right, let's do
it. I don't well, Idon't have by decision. What do I

(01:02:05):
do? Do I just have togo money line by default? I guess.
Yeah. All right, Well we'lldiscuss more off air because we gotta
go. We're about out of time. Thanks everyone for the best night sleep
