Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Gambler starts. Now here's Adam Kaufman. Well, hello, everybody,
welcome in new edition of The Gambler with Adam Kaufman.
We got a lot of football come in your way
as we continue our tour of the NFC West. Last
night it was the one of the championship favorites, certainly
a favorite to come out of the NFC, the San
(00:22):
Francisco forty nine ers. Tonight we will discuss the Los
Angeles Rams. We will do that for the better part
of this opening hour, but the football will continue into
the next hour because yeah, Patriots preseason. This is Pat's
preseason opener. Eve oh right, now, get excited.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Dan Watt oh seven point favorites?
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Whoa, well, how many times are we going to even
be able to say this season that they're favored? So
let's release bass the glow of this. This might be
the one. So Doug Kaide, Bat's beat reporter for the
Boston Herald, is gonna come on with us a little
less than an hour from now. What I do want
to just mention though, because as I look at my
clock and I apologize, this is not for you podcast people,
(01:04):
This is for the live listeners. It is ten oh
eight Eastern time. We have ourselves a baseball game starting
in just a few minutes between the Philadelphia Fillies in
the Los Angeles Dodgers, and as I tweeted out, you
can find me at Adam M. Kaufman. I always encourage
that you do the hottest baseball better on the planet
(01:27):
on the face of this beautiful earth. David we hit
Those from CAP Collective is going to pop on with
us tonight and we are going to chat with him
about yet another successful dinger parlay, a three leg home
run parlay. He has cashed seven of these in the
(01:48):
last eleven days. In this period of time, he is
up something like one hundred units. It is just stupid.
What is going on right now. He's gonna come on
with us for much of the next hour and preview
the Thursday board, and maybe he will have some early
leans toward what some of the dinger parlays or k parlays,
(02:10):
the strikeout parlays of course, may look like, or just
singular favorite plays, whatever it may be. But I want
to bring this up right now because the game starts
in a minute and he has given out after hitting
another home run parlay. Tonight I jump him in Austin
Riley and Bobby Witt. He has given out another in
his discord, and I'm just I don't know if I
should do it, but I'm doing it anyway because I'm
(02:31):
in his discord. He's given one out to the discord
a Homer Parlay for tonight. I have invested in it.
If anybody else wants to do the same, we can
sweat it together. It's not for a show unit or
anything like that. Freddy Freeman, okay, Freddie Freeman, Bryce Harper,
Trey Turner. That is plus almost twenty thousand con FanDuel
(02:51):
good Lord. Freddie Freeman, Bryce Harper, Trey Turner. Those are
the names. If anybody wants to play it, And why
the hell not round robin it if you like. Maybe
he goes two out of three and you still make
a little bit of money. Maybe he goes over. Wouldn't matter.
He's more than covered his night anyway. But he gave
a late one out with this late West Coast game
(03:12):
starting up in Los Angeles, and I wanted to spread
it to the people, and I'm sure he won't mind.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah, at this point, it's unbelievable. I can't help but laugh.
I've never seen someone so hot like this. What he's doing,
I mean not just like it's not just like he's
giving one like, you know, one straight play a night.
He is giving out massive parlays and he's hitting him consistently.
I mean, I can't wait, And Natam, I mean, we
should just let him make the parlay by himself.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Seriously, for all home runs.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Please, it's get us back to two hundred, or get
us back close to two hundred and just one three
swings literally.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
And to let people know, you know, obviously, when you're
doing something like this, a lot of luck is involved,
and Dave would be he'd be the first person to
admit that. Everybody know. Like you, you know, you pick
and choose your spots carefully based on matchups and maybe BVP,
batter versus pitcher history or whatever it may be. You know, ballpark, there, weather,
(04:06):
there are so many things that go into it. Dan,
you mentioned we were texting earlier. You really want to
talk to David about his process. Completely agree. I think
we should be doing that quite a bit tonight and
I'm looking forward to doing so. But another thing people
may wonder, you guys may wonder, Dan Brian Butt on
the board. You know, how many of these is he
putting out a night, you know, to his discord, because again,
(04:29):
as he's saying, goes it only takes one to more
than cover your night, obviously, but it is a volume game,
you know. So today he gave out a number of
strikeout parlays that I'm guessing just based on how things
have trended. And you know, some starters like Joe Ryan
didn't pitch very long. You know, he blows up some parlays.
(04:51):
He gave out probably in the vicinity of ten or
twelve strikeout parlays. I'm not sure sure any of them
are going to hit. He has obviously before, but I
don't think tonight is the night. On the case. He
did do a home run round robin that might be
profitable because for home run well, so in this round
(05:15):
robin he had Jake Berger he's homered, Matt Chapman he's homered,
Aaron Judge didn't, Vlad Guerrero didn't, Pete Alonzo. They're still playing,
but he hasn't and he has Shoheo Tani. All it
takes is three. If he gets three out of those
six guys, that's profit. It's a round robin by three.
(05:36):
The way that he gave it out, he gave out
I want to say six home run Parlays tonight, seven
maybe maybe eight either way, he hit one, maybe another
one coming up, but he's hit the one, and the
one once again is all it takes. It's fifteen bucks.
That's what he wagered. You know, do whatever you want
(05:56):
to do out there. He wagered fifteen bucks. Turns it
in the what's the math on that turns it into
sixteen hundred. It's just absurd. And he put it out
on Twitter some of the victories that he has had lately,
not in a bragging sort of way, but in a
like hey check out this run and join our discord obviously,
(06:17):
and who could blame him? Cap collective? And it's not
just him I haven't even mentioned. So there's another guy.
Odds Father is just a There are twenty kappers, I
want to say in this particular discord, and this guy
odds Father, whoever that is, is another one. And I
was out with the kids earlier and I saw him.
(06:37):
He posts this was exclusive to the discord. That's why
there's a reason that you joined for whatever thirty bucks
a month. I don't mean to tout the thing, but
I mean, like, my god, the success they're having. So
he posted, he said, early slate MLB home run parlay.
I'll be back later with a full slate and some
other links. So that parlay was Marte from Arizona, Simeon
(07:06):
from the Rangers, Josh Naylor of the Cleveland Guardians at
plus twenty thousand, three hundred on fandle. So I figured
I'll throw a couple bucks at it while I'm here
with the kids. I'll get to the other places a
little bit later. On it hit. I'll be damned. Just
threw one, just threw one caution to the wind home
(07:28):
run parlay and the thing hit.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
It is crazy what these guys in this particular discord
right now are doing. It blows my mind. I mean
this guy as well. I mean he missed this, but
I do want to bring it up. He had a
two leg parlay for it was plus I gotta like
count the zeros. It was plus two hundred and twenty thousand,
(07:58):
and that parlay is Gunner Henders some two home runs
Bobby wit too. Okay, so obviously it didn't hit, but
he chose the wrong guy because Bobby wit Homeward twice
he did, and Santander Homeward twice, Dot Henderson if he
had picked him and him and Wit who unreal. I mean,
(08:18):
he would have turned twenty bucks into like fifty k.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
That's insane.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I mean, so you know how we joke like during
football season, like, oh, the script's been leaked. It's like
these guys literally have the script to the baseball season.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
These guys have the Gray's Sports Almanac from us back
to the Future. I don't I don't know what these
dudes and Schwarber. You just said Schwarber Homeward right, yep, yeah,
so there you go. So Schwarber's in.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
I don't even know if this this very well. Schwarber
may very well have cashed another parlay for one of
these guys, because I know he was in some of them.
And while we're I guess shouting out, you know, books
and people and all of this, I didn't play it.
I didn't even see it. I've been running around. I
don't know that I would have anyway, But FanDuel had
a boost Kyle Schwarber or show heo Tandy to Homer
(09:06):
tonight at plus one p fifty boosted from I don't
even know what it was because again I didn't see it.
Maybe it was around even money or plus one twenty
five or something. It was. It was boosted to plus
one fifty for either of those guys to Homer and
Schwarber would the lead off bomb to cash that. So
if you invested in that, that's a nice little return obviously.
(09:28):
So hopefully that is a sign of things to come.
We can just get Homer's all night and maybe the
three of us and David when he joins us a
little bit later on, we'll have something to celebrate.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Yeah, that'd be great. I definitely want to get into
the process. Like I'm curious, Like, where's the first website
he goes to? What is he looking at? This second?
He starts diving into a slate. I really can't wait
to find out for him.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah, without a doubt. So that's gonna be fun. And
like I said, it's going to be a lot of
football tonight. The baseball we will say for much of
the next hour, but rams talk here in this opening hour.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Interesting to be.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
A very interesting team, very interesting team, and we're going
to have a first time are on the show. It's
going to be Dennis Freeman for newsfo US online dot Com.
He is one of the beat reporters there for the Rams.
He's out there at camp and talking to players, talking
to coaches. Look forward to what Dennis has to say
about this team and the right way to bet on
(10:25):
these guys, because you know, I think it's a very
appropriate win total preseason prediction at eight and a half
or laid out from the book heavy juice, heavy juice,
but the number makes sense. And you've got favorable odds
on this team to make the playoffs and plus money.
(10:45):
So that's something that I know has already caught your
eye and mine as well from a prop perspective. You
got Matt Stafford entering year sixteen. Of course, Nakua. Can
he do what he did in that record setting rookie year?
Can he replicate that? What's the Health Cooper Cup going
to be? Can Kyron Williams be a stud again as
(11:05):
the lead back? And with Blake Koram who they took
in the third round out of Michigan, what's that time
share going to look like? That p defense looked like
with no Aaron Donald he's retired. There are definitely some
questions here.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Oh, big time.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
No.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
The backfield is definitely, from a proper perspective, the biggest
one because if you look at Blake Koram as a
rookie five hundred and a half rushing yards, it's his
over under. It's only up on one book on bet MGM.
But Kyron Williams, who was a thousand yard rusher a
year ago, which we talked about a little bit last night,
kind of came out of nowhere. He's nine to fifty
is his numbers. So it's a very interesting team, Adam.
And there's a lot of props here, much like San
(11:42):
Francisco last night, that if everything's healthy, they should smash
these numbers. I mean, Cooper Cup at nine to fifty,
Puka Nakua just to take a slight step forward get
to eleven hundred yards. Stafford is his props under four thousand. Like,
there's a lot of numbers here that if these guys
are healthy and they're playing in every game, they should
be able to hit these with ease.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Just as I check in the cap collective discord, sure
enough that Schwarber home run did cash another homer parlay
for one of their betters. Jake Berger, Austin Reiley, Kyle
Schwarber home run parlay at a much more modest plus
seventy eight hundred. But nevertheless if you played it with
money in your pocket. So just crazy what these guys
(12:24):
are doing again, David, we hit those on Twitter, you know,
with additional underscores and numbers and whatnot. We'll promote all
of it later. He is going to join us, but
football on the way more on those rams will give
you the details on how official show plays for today
have done as well. I think not quite wrapped up,
but we're pretty close. I will just spoil the people's
(12:44):
parlay did not hit unfortunately, But what else is new?
Dannis Freeman is going to join US News for US
online dot Com when we come back back here on
the Gambler with Adam Kaufman. We come your way Monday
through Thursday nights, ten pm to midnight Eastern. Thanks so
much for hanging here with us. Of course, we are
(13:05):
going team by team, city by city across the NFL.
We have done the entire AFC. We're onto the NFC.
We begin in the West, started with the Niners yesterday today.
It is as we were just talking about a very
very interesting team in the Los Angeles Rams, and we'll
be diving in here momentarily to discuss them with Dennis Freeman,
(13:27):
who is an editor over at newsfo US online dot com.
Look forward to chatting with Dennis and getting all of
his insights about this team obviously and what to expect
here in the new year, because again we were just
talking about it. I think an efficient win total at
eight and a half from the books as things stand
(13:48):
right now, and you know, a team that is really
in some ways, I guess from a leadership standpoint there.
Over the last couple of years have just been these questions, right,
you know, Aaron Donald, when's he going to retire? He
has Sean McVay, is he going to want to do
something else? Well, he's still there year eight, and of
(14:09):
course Matt Stafford it is year sixteen for him and
a pretty loaded offense. So let us bring in the
man we were just talking about, Dennis Freeman. Dennis, welcome
to the show.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
How are you I'm doing great?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
How are you perfect? I'm great? Thank you for hopping on. Obviously,
let's talk about this team. Ten and eight last year overachieved,
reached the playoffs, lost to the Lions. As we know,
they'll have a pretty exciting rematch in primetime coming up
later on this season. But tough schedule out of the
gate with you know, some teams that were playoff teams
(14:43):
last year, but also three out of the first four
on the road. Normally we sort of wrapped these conversations
with win total, but I want to begin there before
we kind of go player by player across the skill positions.
Eight and a half I would lean over, but you know,
I think that health is always a concern with this
team obviously, So how do you see it entering a
(15:04):
new year.
Speaker 7 (15:06):
I think I'm excited for the team. I think there's
going to be improvement. I believe there they will probably
increase their win total by about three three wins for
the regular season, So I think it's going to be
a good season.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
For them, increasing by three from where they were last
year or on that eight and a half. I mean,
either way, we're looking at eleven, twelve, thirteen wins. That
would be a very good season.
Speaker 7 (15:34):
I'm looking to have eleven and twelve wins.
Speaker 6 (15:36):
I think this team is going to be good.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
I agree with you Dennison and that it all comes
down though, to Matthew Stafford that they've had him for
three seasons. The two years that he's healthy, they make
the playoffs. Obviously they win the super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
The first year.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
But how's how's Stafford looked so far in training camp?
Is he good to go?
Speaker 1 (15:54):
What?
Speaker 2 (15:54):
What do you think? First? What his season is going
to look like?
Speaker 7 (15:59):
Heasially really sharp training camp. I mean his passes a Chris,
it looks really good. He's working out really hard. So yeah,
the key, of course is keeping the offense line with
Jonah Jackson role Paven Steine and then Alaric Jackson line
together too, so they could give Stafford a clean pocket.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
So with Stafford again the season he's coming off of,
there were some inconsistencies in his play. You can't blame
him for that, though, given that Cooper Cup obviously missed
a handful of games limited by injury after that other
worldly twenty twenty two season that he had. For Stafford,
I mean, what, I guess, what does this offense look like?
(16:47):
Knowing that if everyone is healthy, he has all these
weapons at his disposal, with you know, Cup certainly being
able to return to form, and the books see him
getting right around one thousand yards. Pokinakua's props are even
higher after uh the absurd rookie year that he had
last year. But now this backfield too, of of Kyron
Williams and Uh and Blake Korum, and I don't know
(17:09):
what the share will be and we'll get into some
of that, but obviously two really talented playmakers right there.
And at some point in time, you'd think Tyler Higbee
comes back. He's recovering from the acl uh torn acl
that he suffered back in the playoffs. And so how
ultimately does the Stafford spread the ball around?
Speaker 7 (17:32):
Well, I think he's gonna be a balanced pack. Of course,
you start with the run. I think Tyrone is going
to have any healthy he's going to have a good season.
I think he'll be able to Stafford will be able to. Yeah,
I see Stafford tost forty eight forty nine yards maybe
(17:56):
five thousand a year.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
So when it comes to that backfield, as Adam was
just talking about, it is a big question mark on
how the Rams and McVeigh is going to divvy up
the carries here between kyn Williams, who kind of comes
out of nowhere last year leads the league in yards
per game at ninety five, just played twelve games last season,
had over eleven hundred yards Dennis. But now you got
Blake Corum who was a monster at Michigan throughout his career,
(18:20):
and the books are expecting Coorum to get quite, you know,
quite a bit of touches here. One book has his
prop his yardage number prop up at five hundred yards
for the season. McVeigh says he doesn't want to completely
just give everything to Kyron Williams. But how do you
think they're going to divvy this up here? Do you
think Kyron has approaches a thousand yards again or is
it going to be much more even with him and
the rookie I've won.
Speaker 7 (18:47):
I don't know how past by Bay plans divvy up
the opportunity between East running back. But I would think
that Tyrone Williams will have a great UH campaign and
I think Blake is going to add to He's going
to be a solid contributor to to the offense. The
(19:09):
artists wise, I wouldn't get that, but I think both
me and both players going to really contribute to the offense.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Kyron had a dozen rushing touchdowns last year. His prop
right now is eight and a half on the low end.
Rushing scores again, just rushing scores. But uh, do you
see them continuing to lean on him, you know, inside
the twenty or inside the five, the goal line, that
type of thing to where you know he could get
to double figures again.
Speaker 7 (19:38):
Uh, he's a monster down low. I mean he's loaded
the ground. He has a lot of power. Oh, he's
gonna if their running game is going to be really
really good, to their games stays healthy.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
So for.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
What's the latest with Pokinakua Dennis? I know McVeigh says
probably here he should be good to go week one,
But is it?
Speaker 2 (20:03):
What's the latest year hearing?
Speaker 7 (20:10):
Well, I guess your guests as good as mine. I'm
just waiting when it comes to injury. I just wait
to whenever the medical stabagage, bab's good, he's good. Otherwise
I can't really comment on that. I'll be it would
be a erroneous sleep for.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Me to do that.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Sure, what's the defense? Uh? You know response, I guess no,
Aaron Donald new GC as well. You know it was
an area of weakness as we know last year there
were a lot of shootouts on account of that defense,
not being able to stop teams with any consistency. It
will it be improved here in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 7 (20:50):
Oh yes, I think with the rookies Jared Burs and
Bratt uh Say, I think they look bad, looks fat.
I think they're young, and they're young, So I do
think it's going to be improved from last season.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
So what is the ultimate ceiling for this team? Is
this team truly a dark horse super Bowl contender or
do they have some warts that were what's the what
is the the ceiling for this team? Are they truly
a dark horse super Bowl contender? Or are they going
to have some warts that you think will show up
that they might just not be able to get all
the way.
Speaker 7 (21:32):
I think they're contenders. I really do think this is
a very very good with I don't think there is
a ceiling for them.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Where ultimately, I know you said you like them to
exceed double digit wins, you know, or get to double
digit wins, let alone the eight and a half. Obviously,
I would presume you like them to make the playoffs,
and that's something people can invest in at plus money
plus one oh five is available out there. Do you
like their chances to to actually win this division though,
(22:05):
and upset San Francisco, never mind obviously doing something that
much more significant winning the whole NFC.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
Well, yeah, I think. I mean McVay is. I think
he's an excellent coach. He has a pull of talent
around him now, and the expectation is really higher, a
lot higher than it was last season. And I do
(22:35):
see them contending are possibly, Yeah, I do see them
contend before in the NC West title.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
So last year, Dennis Pukaakua kind of comes out of
nowhere do the rams. Is there anybody at camp that's
really just impressing people that might do that again this year?
I mean, Blake Korham could be a guy, but he was,
you know, very well known in college. But is there
anyone else that's really just wowing a lot of people camp?
Speaker 7 (23:02):
Kyron Lamps looks super super great Pooka and the cool
is just being Pooka in the cool. He's doing great
things as well, I.
Speaker 6 (23:15):
Would say, uh uh.
Speaker 7 (23:19):
The two defenders from Florida today, Jared Verus and Kobe
Dulant on the corner. So yeah, I think there's a
few people who look really good. Kyne and Player both
look good.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
By the football.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Dennis Freeman once again is an editor over at news
for US online dot Com. Make sure you check it out.
Check Dennis out. He is on Twitter at Dennis J. Freeman. Dennis,
really appreciate you taking some time for us and providing
some insights into RAMS camp.
Speaker 7 (23:54):
Oh, thank you so much for having me.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
We appreciate it absolutely, all right. We are going to
step aside when we can. I'm on back. Of course,
we had Bankwoll repairs towards the end of this hour,
but before that, you know, normally we say futures, so
a little bit later on in the show, but I
think it's as good a time as any. Let's roll
the RAMS conversation right over. Dan and I if we
have any futures for this team. After not giving anything
(24:17):
out on Niners last night, we got to give an
NFC pick, right. I know it's very early, only the
second team we've talked about, but I actually.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Found a potential sand fran one.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Don't don't force it. It's a tease.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
It's a tease, but I'm actually I'm teasing this for
you because I think you're gonna like this one.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Okay, all right, for we'll explore when we come on back.
I can't believe. I can't believe somebody out there parlayed.
Speaker 8 (24:41):
To Bobby with home runs and to Anthony Santander home
runs at plus Oh my god, it was like what
did I say, plus like two hundred thousand or some stupid.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
It was twenty five bucks to win. Forty two thousand
was what they posted.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
So plus plus one hundred and seventy thousand, yeah, FanDuel
is what it was. And I saw somebody else see this.
This is why you shop around, folks. So that was
on FanDuel plus one hundred and seventy thousand. That exact
same bet on DraftKings that I'm seeing somebody post on
Twitter was plus one hundred and twenty seven thousand. Wow,
(25:22):
I mean that's nuts. That's an absurd difference in absurd,
like the exact same bet. I mean, one person turned
what'd you say, twenty five bucks into what forty two
and then this person turned twenty bucks into twenty five grand.
It's not even close. No, just outrageous, absolutely outrageous. I
(25:46):
would have been happy to put a dollar on that
right and to come away with seventeen hundred or whatever.
I just ridiculous, absolute ridiculous and so looking forward to
chatting with David you know again we hit those camp collective.
Coming up baseball talk in the next hour. We're going
to do more football Patriots preseason preview, the latest on
(26:08):
Brandon Ayuk, who we know, the latest he's not coming here,
Matt Judon, how long is he going to be here,
all of that stuff. We're gonna get into it, obviously
with Doug Kyde coming up in just a little bit
top of the next hour from the Boston Herald Official show.
Plays have wrapped as the Red Sox fall eight to
four in Kansas City, so they can't complete the sweep,
(26:30):
but we said it trends of your friends felt like
there was going to be more offense in this game.
The over under of eight it felt low, and sure
enough we get a dozen runs and so between hitting
one of three straights, losing the parlay but hitting a
pretty good bank roll repair with the plus one forty
three parlay of the Giants and the Athletics. It was
(26:50):
a little bit of a sweat there on the Oakland
side of things, but it happened ultimately the Athletics starting
a new and maybe a new skid for the White Sox.
Maybe we end up losing just a half unit today,
So I mean, I'm never happy losing, but I'm happy
you're losing a half unit versus a unit and a
half or two and a half or something like that. So,
you know, a baby step back, and we'll give out
(27:12):
more plays coming up in a bit bank roll repairs
for tomorrow in you know, I don't know, ten minutes,
a little less than that. And we will also, of
course do the people's parlay with David, who has Dan said,
maybe he's right, maybe we should just let David pick
all three.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
And David, hypothetically, if you were to read picks three.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Plays for tomorrow, maybe even their home runs, and you
were to cash it at plus you know, like plus
one one hundred fifty thou hypothetically plus fifteen thousand, Yeah,
that'd be fine, plus fifteen thousand, Just do that? What
would that look like? So David'll join us. But let's
(27:52):
let's circle back to the rams, and thanks again to
Dennis Freeman for joining us and giving us his insights
into camp. Obviously. So there's there's one play that I
really like, and I know there is a play that
you really like, and it just so happens to be
the same play. And we'll get to that in just
a second. But I'm looking at some of these props
and I just don't. I can't go near Pooka, as
(28:16):
much as I would love to see him do that again,
that's a bloated line. Eleven hundred at your base, eleven
hundred point five on his receiving yards after again, he
flirted with fifteen hundred last year.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
And he's got an the issue that could lighter all
season for sure.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Cooper Cup at nine to fifty point five, Yeah, feels
like a bargain. But will he be on the field right,
you know? And how much? Obviously he missed a handful
of games last year and.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
He's like thirty two to thirty three now at this
point too.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Right, It was really inconsistent even when he was out there.
Only had seven hundred and thirty yards in his twelve games.
And I say only but by Pooka or by Cooper
Cup standards, that's only like the year before twenty twenty
two when he got hurt. I think I missspoke earlier.
I referenced twenty two was twenty twenty one that he
was ridiculous two thousand receiving yards. Yeah, I was, he
was stupid, seventeen or sixteen receiving touchdowns. He had the
(29:09):
one hundred and forty five catches, like you said, triple
Crown four receivers. But twenty twenty two he had eight
hundred yards in only nine games. So we see the
step back last year. So I can't go there and
Kyen Williams, as much as I really would like to
go there, big fan, love this guy, want to see
him repeated. You know, I didn't feel like Dennis and
(29:30):
this is no knock on him. I think it's just
the uncertainty of the matter. You know, had any real
answer as to what is the time share going to
look like between Kyrien Williams and Blake Koram.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
No, I completely agree.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
And mcveig's kind of hinted at that he doesn't want to,
you know, give Williams the ball that much because he
doesn't want to wear him down. And Blake Koram's that
perfect guy to just kind of spell him a little
bit and he could really eat into that too, And
it wouldn't surprise It wouldn't surprise me if both the
like I mean, it wouldn't surprise me. If both these
guys hit their totals in the RAM, just run the
ball a ton. But I mean, I can't trust it
(30:03):
enough to put to take high and to go over
nine to fifty because let's say he misses, you know,
two games. I mean, this guy he missed five games
last year. Let's say he missed his two or three.
Now this year he could he could finish at like
nine to twenty five and then and you lose.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
Now, I will say, and I'm not going there, but
I don't think it's a bad idea. So I just
want to bring it to the attention of people. Matt
Stafford fastline. Yeah, thirty eight twenty five point five for
his passing yards. It goes all the way up to
thirty nine hundred point five depending on the book you're using.
But thirty eight twenty five point five he has cle
as long as he plays fifteen games, fourteen games, you know,
(30:39):
well maybe not fourteen, but fifteen games, he'll get there.
Last year he played fifteen games, he got to just
about four thousand yards. Right again, this is a guy
in year sixteen, though, and he's up there in age.
He's what thirty six, so is he going to be
able to stay out there on the field. So if
I were to bet it, I would go over. But
I'm not going to bet it's let's get to the
(31:00):
play that we do. Like that is going to be
show official. I'll let you give it ten.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
On taking the Rams to make the playoffs plus one
oh five. This team at plus money to make the playoffs.
I really like that a lot. As we were talking
about there with Dennis, this team they do have Super
Bowl aspirations in with the Rams here they are the
last team besides the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl two,
which is just wild to think about. But you look
at this schedule, I think it's workable. You got the
(31:25):
first couple games, three out of the first four on
the road, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if
they go into Detroit and beat the Lions that Sunday
night in Week one. Then you got the Cardinals the Niners,
who don't know what they're going to be right, that
they're going to look like health wise when they play them.
You're always wondering there and if they're still trying to
figure things out, if they don't have Brandon Nyuk and
maybe the offense is a little bit of a mess
out of the gate there. So I think the Rams
(31:46):
to make the playoffs is the best bet here over
eight and a half I do like, but that's just
so much juice. I'd rather take the plus money at
them to make the playoffs and then two Adam's basically
like the books are telling you, they expect them to
be there because you go to the odds to win
the NFC and they're the seventh best. They have the
seventh best odds, and seven teams make the playoffs, so
(32:07):
that means the books think that they're a playoff team.
So there is a plus one oh five out there.
There's a couple other even moneies if you're not on
ESPN bet, but for the show purposes, we'll take the
plus one oh five.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
What is the next best place? Since ESPN is of
course not a book that everybody is on.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
I think FanDuel, But hang on, I can pull it
up here in a minute.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Yeah, we could check during the break and let people
know when we come back, but let's make plalusus. Yeah
plus plus one oh five ESPN is your best option. Obviously,
if you do use ESPN, that's.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
GM DraftKings and fan Duel are all even money. Caesars
is minus one fifteen.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
Very good. All right, we're gonna step aside bankroll repairs
on the way.
Speaker 5 (32:49):
It's time for your bank row repair, Howard my today's collision.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Thank you to Bobby, Bobby Cobb, all the fine folks
over at today's collision. So we did hit the one
bank roll repair that we gave out for today and
gets us back into the positive, which is always a
good thing. Obviously, it was a plus one three two
leg money line parlay, and thank you to the Giants
and the athletics for doing your job. We pick up
(33:16):
the unit in half very nearly right there and goes
into the right category. Obviously, I will have a bank
roll repair for tomorrow. I don't have it yet simply
because some of the things that I would like to
include in it we don't have lines for just yet.
I would like to attack, for instance, the Mariners Tiger's
(33:38):
matchup tomorrow night. These teams are playing right now, and
I will be on the Seattle money line as part
of a bank roll repair. But I can't do it
yet because again we can't place the bed anywhere. So
why don't we take a moment and just continue to
praise everybody at Cap Collective because I don't know if
you guys just saw this, but holy crap, another one
(34:01):
of their cappers in the discord. This was Discord exclusive.
Obviously I didn't play it Otherwise I don't even know
what i'd been doing. Right now, I'd pants off. This
person did a four leg home run Parlay Jake Berger,
Austin Riley, Cal Riley and Kyle Schwarber, and as Riley
(34:24):
has just gone yard. This person turned ten dollars into
four hundred and fifty on a plus thirty nine thousand,
six hundred. Bet.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
It's insane, It's true. It's absence a four legger.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
My god, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (34:49):
My god? We got Trey Turner up right now too.
It would be awesome. I would loves it. One on
air would be amazing.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
Please. I'm like, it's just our buddy U.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Yeah he's not.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
I don't believe he's in the Cap Collective, but our
buddy Aton is having a nice night too.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Yeah, all every Kyle Schwarber prop imaginable Aton.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
He was all over after he was just telling me
on Twitter that he's been called too so I went
on to on my public picks tonight, so good for him.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Hopefully I can get a little bit of that good
luck too for tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
He was on Schwarber at first home run is first
at bat would be for extra bases, those where I
think plus like six fifty and eleven hundred respectively. Just absurd,
absurd night people are having right now. Hey, I even
just cash my fan duel baseball no sweat bet. So
let's keep doing it, folks. Let's go.
Speaker 5 (35:39):
That was your bankro repair powered by Today's Collision with
locations involved in Chelsea, Stoneham, and dan Very. Check them
out at Today's Collision dot Com. The Gambler starts now
here's Adam Kaufman.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
It's our number two of the Gambler with Adam Kaufman
here on WRKO. And as mentioned, there's going to be
playing baseball on the way. Still some show plays to
give out. We did give you an official football future
on the Los Angeles Rams at plus one oh five
on ESPN to win the NFC West, So make sure
or pardon me, to make the playoffs. Not to win
(36:14):
the NFC West. That would be much better odds and
a much different bet. No I think I speak for Dan.
We probably support San Francisco over here, but making the
playoffs for sure look toward the Los Angeles Rams. We
like it and gave you all the rationale as to
why this is what happens when I'm multitask and I'm
just talking while I'm doing something else on my computer.
(36:34):
But make sure you check out the podcast. We explored
this RAMS team. We spoke with Dennis Freeman about them,
gave our own thoughts. You can find the podcast wherever
you get your podcasts, search the full name The Gambler
with Adam Kaufman, and of course you can join in
and see if you liked the logic and you want
to ride with us. We're gonna have baseball plays on
the way. Who knows how many more bets that the
(36:57):
Cap Collective discord is going to hit between now and then,
but David we hit those on Twitter. He is going
to join us looking forward to that. We do have
a lot going on with the New England Patriots right
now between the Matt Judan contracts, Saga and Brandon Ayuk
opting not to come to New England. And oh, by
the way, you may not have noticed, but there's actually
(37:19):
a game in Foxborough tomorrow, a preseason game between the
Patriots and Panthers that New England, not that it really matters,
is favored in six and a half seven point favorites
depending on where you look, with a total of thirty
three and a half. Let's talk all things Patriots with
our good friend Doug Kyde, who covers the team for
the Boston Herald. To get him on Twitter at Doug Kyde.
That is ky Ed Doug. Welcome back, man, How are
(37:41):
you right?
Speaker 4 (37:43):
How are you guys doing good?
Speaker 1 (37:45):
So it's hard to know where to start with this team.
We'll save the preseason game for a little bit later on.
I don't know how many people I've said a number
of times, you've got to be a special kind degenerate
to be excited about betting preseason football. But nevertheless, there
are some people out there that that do and I'm
one of them. So you're you know, the the people
me we we we were bonded folks. But the big stories, obviously,
(38:09):
we got the news last night that Brandon Ayuk is
I don't know if he's going to be traded, but
it's not going to be in New England. Is this
based on your reporting and what you've heard out there,
more about uh, are you just not wanting to come
here than it is the Patriots, you know, pulling back
in their pursuit.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
Yeah, it certainly seems that way that you know, the
Patriots have been trying to have been in talks of
training with the forignantional brand for Brandon Aiyuk since the draft,
and there's a reason why that didn't get done in
the time, and now you know, months later that's still
not getting done, and that that's just because it seems
like Brandon Aiyuk has a site set on a few
(38:52):
teams and you know, everyone's probably gonna be willing to
pay him right around the same amount of money, and
he just wants to go where he wants to go,
and New England is not that destination right now at
this point. And you can understand why because they have
a first year head coach, first year offensive coordinator. No
one knows, I mean, I've got a pretty good idea
(39:13):
who'd be the starting quarterback this year, but no one
knows what kind of success Jacoby Brissett's going to have.
Nobody knows what kind of quarterback Drake May is going
to be in the future. So yeah, that's just the
unfortunate situation the Patriots are in right now where those
types of players aren't going to voluntarily come to New
England like they might have done from let's say two
thousand and two until twenty nineteen.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
So, Doug, when Adam Schefter breaks that news last night
that Auk's not coming to New England, he says that
the Patriots are excited about their young receivers and want
to focus on them. You're there every day. Is that
the vibe they're giving off that they are really excited
about these young guys between jale and Polk, Javon Baker,
Pop Douglas and so on.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
Yes, yes, and no. I mean I think that if
they were truly like as excited as Adam Schefter was
letting on, and if this was them building around the
young wide receivers, then we probably see those guys, you know,
getting the first team reps every single time that Jcoby
Brissett was out there. That's not necessarily what we're seeing
(40:17):
right now. Still a lot of Jalen Rager, still a
lot of Taekwon Thornton, still a lot of kJ Osborne.
But I mean, I'm personally excited about John Polkin Jayon Baker.
I know that people within the building are high on
both of those guys. I just didn't feel like the
way that that was worded makes it seem like, all right,
we're committed to the young guys. Those guys are gonna
(40:37):
play right away, like that's not necessarily what we're seeing
in training camp. I do think that, you know, people
within the building think that Javon Baker has been the
number one stud so far in training camp, which you
can see it from all the big plays that he's
he's made. He just kind of brings a different level
of intensity to that wide receiver position. And then Jalen
Polk is just incredibly consistent. He's the guy who's going
(41:01):
to catch, you know, three or four or five passes
per day and the team drills. He might not necessarily
make like the leaping, diving forty yard catches that Davon
Baker is, but he's a guy who can move around
the offense, and I think he's going to be a
starter from day one. So yeah, I mean, there's definitely
some excitement to be had about the wide receivers. But
(41:22):
I do think that that was kind of spinning everything
in a positive way after losing out on Brandon Nayuk
because he wasn't interested in them. And I will say that, like,
I know people are really excited about Brandon Nayuk, But
as soon as the Patriots were one of those teams
that were floated out there originally a few days ago,
like it just felt like they were being used to
(41:43):
try to get some other team to give up more,
either as a way of a salary to pay Brandon
Nyuk or for the forty nine ers to get more
in a trade out of a different team. It's never
a great sign when you know it comes out ahead
of a trade that team is interested.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
Well, we all know, and I don't think you would
disagree that Mike Reese is as good as there is
on the beat and has been for a long time.
And he said earlier today in an interview that the
Patriots had an offer to Ayuke's camp north of thirty
million dollars aav average annual value for anyone that doesn't know,
So they were prepared to pay Ayuk if obviously he
(42:22):
was willing to come here. And between that possibility and
all of the money the Pats have been handing out
in recent months in resigning guys. I maybe could have
an offer at some point in time from the Crafts.
I don't know. It seems like they're willing to give
money to anyone not named matt Judan, So how is
this going to play out?
Speaker 9 (42:45):
It's I I had asked about this the even before
training came started, and the idea that like it was sorry,
that that there will probably be some incentives, probably a bonus,
you know, some way to make it up to Matthew Judon.
When I was having those conversations before camp, I was
(43:07):
expecting this to get done way before August seventh, at
eleven to fifteen pm.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
So like, I'm surprised that this is still going on
at this point, and I think that ultimately what's coming
down to is that Judon just wants more than what
the Patriots are offering. And it's a difficult position for
both sides to be in because in some ways it's
simple last year, when the Patriots borrowed money from Matthew
(43:35):
Judon's twenty twenty four salar to give him the Rays
last year, like this was inevitable that this was going
to happen if they didn't come to some agreement before
training camp. So like everyone's all the writing on the
wall when this happened literally more than a year ago
at this point, that being said, that was Bill Belichick
doing that. Now there's a different regime in place, no
ownerships the same, but now it's Elliot Wolf Drove Mayo
(43:57):
Macro running things. So I still think something gets done.
I still think that they figure out a way to
get this done. But it's tough at this point because
like Matthew Judon has made the situation awkward. Drug may
is doing everything he can to say like no, no,
things are fine, We're at an agreement, We're at an understanding.
(44:20):
But it's like, all right, well, Matthew Judon wasn't practicing
the last time the Patriots are on the field, and
I don't think he's helping the situation too much with
some of the things that he's saying to the media.
But in like from his perspective, he knew that he
needed more money, The team knew that he needed more money.
So I don't know, it's a difficult, difficult situation right now.
(44:43):
I would still bet that they get something figured out.
But once again, like I said, I was expecting this
to get to get done a lot sooner than now.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
I want to bring it back to the wide receiver
group just for a second, Doug the Pats. You know,
you try and fail on Brandon Nayuk, you try and
fail on cal and Ridley earlier this year. I mean,
is there a third times the charm? Is there another
guy out there? Do you think Elliott Wolf is done
trying to upgrade at receiver for this year now after
you know, two big swings and misses, or or is
(45:13):
he going to try to go for something else.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
I mean out there right now? I mean I guess
like I'm just pulling this, you know, out of kind
of nowhere. But like the other player other than Kendrick Bourne,
who's been floated as a trade target, you know, for
for Brandon Ayu because Amari Cooper, like maybe something could
(45:38):
potentially get done there. I know that he just got
a new contract though, so that obviously complicates matters. But
I mean he'd be an upgrade over what they currently
have at X wide receiver. Otherwise though, it's just it's
it's tough because there's there's just not a whole lot
of guys out there who are available you know, they
(46:00):
keep saying that they've got the wave our priority, but
there's not gonna be a lot of great wide receivers waived. Certainly,
no one better than what they currently have. So yeah,
unless it's someone kind of out of nowhere, like an
Amari Cooper type, then it's just tough to find a
wide receiver right now. And I do think that they tried.
I mean they tried with Calvin Ridley, they tried with
Brandon and Yuke. They've gone through the whole process, but
(46:24):
it takes two to tango. And Calvin Reddley didn't want
to come in free agency. Brandon and I you didn't
want to come in the trade. So there's not a
whole lot more that they can do at this point.
And you know, unless Braake May shows a lot this season,
they could be right back in this position of finding
it difficult to find a wide receiver in twenty and
twenty twenty five also, so they really do kind of
(46:46):
have to hope that they hit on Jalen Polka and
Javon Baker. Like I said, I like what they those
guys have done in camp. Tomorrow, Douglas looks just as
good as you did last year. So that's a good
sign too. They've got some other wide receivers, so maybe
they don't even think they need a wide receiver next year.
But taking the free free agent route is really tough
because there's so much else dependent. You know, wide receivers
(47:09):
need a good offensive place, so they need a good
head coach in place, so they need a good quarterback in place.
Till the Patriots prove that they have that, it's gonna
be tough to find that player.
Speaker 1 (47:19):
Doug, we got you a couple more minutes here. Let's
talk about this preseason opener between the Pats and Panthers
tomorrow at Gillette. And yeah, the Pants are seven point favorites. Honestly,
it doesn't matter win, lose, whatever. It's all about what
happens on the field. But what I am interested in is,
you know, in the bigger picture, we see a total
of thirty three and a half in this game, which,
as preseason games go, usually they're in the thirties, but
(47:41):
usually it's higher thirties. You know, this is a low
thirties game here, and I've already seen people in the
betting space getting ready to hammer the under, which to
me is honestly more indicative of thinking back to last year,
what that offense look like, what it could look like
this year. I'm curious. I mean, you expecting in this
(48:01):
first game in terms of the functionality of the offense,
who's out there at quarterback and for how long? What?
You know, what should we expect to see tomorrow?
Speaker 4 (48:11):
Drug me and said that all four quarterbacks are expected
to play. Jacoby Brissett expected to start, Drick May obviously
expected to play. I don't anticipately seeing a lot of
Jacoby Brissett, maybe a series or two. He was on
the field a lot during the Patriots last training camp
practice on Tuesday, so that would usually indicate that he's
probably not gonna be on the field for very long
(48:33):
during the preseason. I'd probably expect the same out of
the defense as well. You know, just as far as
the total goes, Patriots are deeper on defense than they
are on offense. And overall, I would say the Patriots
are not a very talented team from top to bottom.
(48:55):
Like if you're looking at the ninety man roster right now,
I've done a lot of the fifty three man roster
projection exercises. It's pretty easy to find the first like
fifty guys, or in another way of saying that, it's
pretty easy to chop off like the first thirty guys.
So this is not an overly deep Patriots roster, but
(49:15):
they are deeper on defense and there on offense. So
I would also probably lean towards the ender. But that's
a that's a pretty low point total, you know, starting
off there, so it's tough to go even lower than that.
But no, I don't know. I mean, I just when
it's gonna be Bailey's Happy and Joe Milton and they're
throwing the guys like, you know, Kawan Baker and David
(49:38):
Wallace and well Michael Petway and the offensive line is
so banged up already for the Patriots, I don't anticipate
in scoring a ton of points in this one.
Speaker 3 (49:47):
You just rattled off some names there that I had
never heard of on them. I was gonna I was
going to ask you, is there a surprise player to
watch tomorrow or did you just lift off a couple
right there?
Speaker 4 (49:57):
I mean, as far as like receivers get, Kawan Baker
is probably gonna play a ton in this game, and
he's actually had some moments in camp he to you
guys a little bit more of a veteran, so like
maybe he could do something as far as running backs, though,
I'm sure undrafted for agent Tarl Jennings is gonna be
playing a lot tomorrow. He's shown some upside and camp
(50:18):
and this one matters less because it's a defensive player
and there's just like obviously less betting involved. But safety
Dell Pattis he's he's my long shot undrafted free agent
to make the roster. He's other guys just like made
some plays and he's become kind of my my guy
in camp for the Patriots.
Speaker 1 (50:37):
Doug Kyde covers the team does a great job doing
so for the Boston Herald. Always fun. We have him
on with us as well. Get him on Twitter at
Doug Kuyde that is k y ed. And also you're
still rocking the Patscheck Patscat podcast as well.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
Right, we're in talks of bringing it back. It's been
a hiatus for a while, but uh yeah, that might
be coming back soon.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
So I want to make sure I promoted it nonetheless,
So look for Doug any variety of places, and I
promise it'll be on Twitter if in fact the pod
comes back. You can check his workout in the Boston Herald. Doug,
thanks so much. Have fun tomorrow night.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
Absolutely, I'm looking forward to it.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
All right when we come back. Baseball, finally, we've been
talking a lot about David at We hit those cap
collective and just the utter absurd, generational run of hits
that these guys have had over the last couple of weeks.
How are they doing it? We're gonna ask them. Let's
turn our attention to baseball here and Dan Bryan, I've
(51:37):
worked with you both for quite a while. I have
been entrenched in the betting space all sports. We talk
all of it here on this show. We have analyst
experts across all sports, so we are at least even
if we are not personally, you know, studs in every
single sport, we are paying attention to what is going on.
We are betting every sport. We are talking to the
people that are thriving, and I have I can't think
(52:02):
of a single time that would even rival a run
like I have seen of late from our pal David.
We hit those two underscores and the number nine is
the Twitter handle. Again, we hit those two underscores and
the number nine what he is doing. He and his
(52:23):
fellow cappers at cap Collective right now. I mean it
like you'd think you're making it up if not for
the fact that they have the slips to prove it.
He has cashed seven home run parlays in the last
eleven days for a total profit of more than one
hundred and ten units. That is just in the last
(52:44):
couple of weeks. And people can I talked about this
off the top of the show, Dan. People can sign
up for this service for a dollar a day, thirty
bucks a month. You know, there were people I saw
the retweets all across the board that David and these
guys have been doing. People saying like I just joined
today and oh my god, like I'm already so far ahead.
(53:06):
Cash the home run parlay tonight, a three legger cash
to a K parlay as well other cappers within this discord,
and there are about twenty of them. Other cappers cashed
home run parlays today. There was one massive we talked
about the Santander and Bobby wit two home runs apiece.
You know, somebody turned what do we say, ten bucks,
(53:28):
twenty bucks into forty grand twenty five. It's ridiculous. Number
and someone even just a little while ago, with cal
Roley homing hom Ering hit a four leg home run parlay.
Like it doesn't it doesn't make sense. I want to
get to the bottom of it. He was scheduled to
join us tonight before any of this happened. The timing
(53:50):
couldn't be better. David again at we hit those two
underscores and the number nine on Twitter, David, how are you, Bud?
Welcome back?
Speaker 6 (53:58):
Thanks for having me guys.
Speaker 10 (53:59):
I appreciate the time, I appreciate the kind words. There's
no just absolutely speechless for this run that we've been on.
I don't want to, you know, act like this happens
all the time. This is definitely the most a generational
two weeks that we've had here, almost in total, twenty
home run parlays in eleven days. Subscribers are just absolutely feasting. If,
(54:25):
like you said, one dollar a day, thirty dollars a month,
if you're gambling, I feel like you're going to invest
one dollar a day anyway, So why not do it
and get some insight.
Speaker 6 (54:33):
So no, thanks for the intro, and I'm excited to
be here.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
I'm curious. While I have a number of questions about
this run, but like you said, generational run right now
these last couple of weeks, and you wanted to continue
for as long as possible, but we know how this goes.
At some point there's bound to be a cold streak
over the course of you know, you've been doing this
for a long time. So hot runs hot, and that's wonderful,
But like, what what does cold look like like? What
(54:59):
is you know, for potential subscribers obviously you know that
want to join and hope that they're turning their money
into profit and trying to do so as quickly as
possible because they're only human and we're greedy people. You
know what, when when things go south and in an
average way, not a not a super cold way, in
an average way, what does that look like? What period
(55:21):
of days if you will.
Speaker 10 (55:23):
So so we.
Speaker 6 (55:24):
Take pride in being as transparent as possible.
Speaker 10 (55:27):
We we track every single cap that we have, Like
you mentioned, we have about twenty of them, three or
four sometimes five for the major sports NBA, MLB, NFL,
and then you know, one each for the niche sports
like Kennis, UFC, Gulf, you name it. We have guys
for anything you're looking to by and you know, with
twenty guys, i'd say on a month to month basis,
(55:50):
you know, twelve to thirty of them are profitable and
you know the other ones aren't. And it's nothing usually
too it doesn't, you know, break the bank. Usually it's
only if you're familiar with units. You know, at most
we're down ten units a month myself. Actually, the first
two months of MLB season we're losing months for me.
The last you know, two months here, I've again, this
(56:12):
isn't normal, but it's real life happened. I've profited like
one hundred and fifty units. It's just been crazy. My
goal is to to make sure you never deposit again.
So even if we can go, you know, plus one
unit at the end of the month, that I'm happy
with that.
Speaker 6 (56:28):
But no, the coach strikes will happen.
Speaker 10 (56:31):
We just have to you know, bet responsibly and manage
your units and what we'll be just fine.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
So David, take us behind the curtain a little bit
of this just insane run. You don't have to reveal
all your secrets. But Adam and I are both wondering, like,
how do you start your process each day? Where are
you going? Are you just living on baseball Savant.
Speaker 2 (56:48):
What are you doing?
Speaker 10 (56:50):
Surprisingly, I don't use Baseball Savant, which is actually really
shocking to everybody. I will give some shout outs here.
I do use ballpark Towel, which if you're not from
real you can get a subscription for twenty dollars a
month free plug. I'm not even getting paid to say that.
And they give out incredible that The first place I
start is there. They give out incredible weather and field conditions.
(57:11):
You know, they take into account with an it's like
a five or six I don't know, algorithm, you know,
data that they take from five or six different databases,
and it's like weather, the wind, you know, precipitation. That's
the first place I look. And then the next thing
I do is I'll look at who's pitching in those games,
which and then I try to, you know, check a
(57:33):
box of all right, this is a good game for weather,
and this guy this game has a pitcher that's given
up twenty two homers this year and gives up like
two point five home runs.
Speaker 6 (57:42):
For nine inning.
Speaker 2 (57:43):
I love that.
Speaker 6 (57:43):
And then I just try to match.
Speaker 10 (57:44):
Up, you know, the players he's he's facing with with
some good splits So if it's a riety and let's
just say pet Alongo's facing him and he smashes rities,
then I'm looking for pie Alonzo that day.
Speaker 6 (57:54):
So there's there's a lot more that goes into it.
Speaker 10 (57:56):
But I think if you took those three things, you
can it has some success betting home runs just strategically.
Speaker 1 (58:03):
I'm wondering, you know, I see some of the other
capers in the discord. You know, they'll only give out
a few of these a day, a few of these
maybe three even four leg home run parlays. It's absurd
to try and cash a four or five. But some
of these guys are doing it one hit tonight, like
we said, but they're encouraging, you know, round robin in
the plays. And I've talked to you about it. You
(58:24):
don't do it other than to maybe put out a
group of six or seven in round robin them by three,
and you do it that way. But you're not for
every three leg home run parlay you're giving out. You're
not saying, oh, by the way, also round robin it
by twos. I'm wondering why because obviously, I mean, you've
hit two out of three in a given day, probably
(58:44):
enough times to be annoyed by it. Why don't you
round robin?
Speaker 6 (58:48):
Yeah, you're not.
Speaker 10 (58:48):
You're not wrong there, definitely, you know it is oftome
as the as these winds have been there. There's if
I could get paid for every time, which I could
with round robining, but if I could get paid for
every time that I went to for three, we'd be
up another five hundred units.
Speaker 1 (59:01):
But uh at.
Speaker 10 (59:02):
On the flip side of that, it's when I bet MLBM,
I'm super lotto based and I don't want it to
be a double whammy for I'm really good at MLB
two or at MBA two.
Speaker 6 (59:13):
I say that humbly.
Speaker 10 (59:15):
And when I bet MBA it's more straight based and
I will round robin some things.
Speaker 6 (59:19):
But since it's based you.
Speaker 10 (59:21):
Know, mainly around lottos. For mb season, I figured i'd
rather only lose three units a night because I usually
risk three to four units than if I round robin it,
you know, losing five, because I know it'll come around
and how what's the volume we put in and then
units risk we calculate if one just needs to hit,
we'll be prossible for the night. So that's that's basically
why I do it. I just don't want it to
(59:42):
be a double whammy. But you're you're probably not wrong
that there's I haven't done the math, but there's a
good chance I might have still been profitable. But it's again,
it's just being being safe.
Speaker 1 (59:53):
Uh, we're gonna break in a second, but I will
one more strategy question on the other side. We'll look
at some of the matchups tomorrow. I've not and maybe
you just have an agreement with FanDuel. I have no idea.
I've noticed that you're putting these plays out. It's almost
exclusively on FANDUL, whether it's a KLA or a home
run parlay, and I may see it and say, I'm
(01:00:15):
gonna check some of the other books, and you know
what exists on FANDLE might have considerably better odds on
fanatics or on bet MGM are are you not odd
shopping when you're putting these parlays together.
Speaker 10 (01:00:30):
So the actually the primary reason we do that is
if you've noticed other we did just have a week
where that there was the company we were using had
some good negotiations to do with FANDLE. But the reason
I basically I mainly use FANDLE is because we have
an agreement with a company that basically offers quick links
(01:00:50):
so they can auto generate on the links far subscribers
to tails. So basically it's a click of the button.
You don't have to worry about. You know where to
find this player. You really don't need to know anything
about sports other than the units that we suggest and
then being able.
Speaker 6 (01:01:03):
To click a link.
Speaker 10 (01:01:05):
But no, I would suggest odds shopping definitely. I haven't
said it recently, but I do suggest that a lot,
and I do sometimes mention the reason that I use
Fandle with that and it's just the most popular book.
Speaker 6 (01:01:18):
But no, usually again.
Speaker 10 (01:01:21):
When MBA comes around, I do use different books more
often because it's straight based. But you know, it would
be nice to get a ninety x odds compared to
seventy five X odds. But I'm just kind of playing
towards my subscribers. And yeah, no, that's definitely why we
do it so well.
Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
Like you said, the subscribers are eating right now, man,
so keep it up. Obviously, we got a nice slate
in front of us tomorrow, including some day baseball, so
we'll dive into it here with David. We hit those
on Twitter from camp Collective. We're back here with David
from Camp Collective. You know him as we hit those
on Twitter. He's the guy who's been out there making
(01:01:58):
your money like crazy. Right now, David, we have a
I guess you might say, a medium size slate in
front of us. Tomorrow starts at noon Eastern with the
Giants and Nationals one two three, where we have four, five, six, seven, eight, nine,
nine games ten games tomorrow. So you tell us, I mean,
what's this going to look like? You're gonna go heavy
(01:02:20):
on K props, home run props, any spots that you're
already targeting that you're just waiting for lines to come
out so you can, you know, dig into your research
and pounds.
Speaker 6 (01:02:29):
I think the books are recovering right now from paying
out all our subscribers if they didn't get to start line. No, no, no, no,
it is the same.
Speaker 10 (01:02:37):
Usually by this time we have some lines to work
with that I've been on the show before, and I've
had some some actual lines that I'm playing. But as
of right now on FanDuel Land DraftKings, not a single
K or home run prop is out there right now.
But I do have some guys circled for guys, I
should be targeting or tomorrow. It's just we don't have
(01:02:58):
anything official as of.
Speaker 1 (01:02:59):
Yet, unfortunately, So what do you have circled?
Speaker 10 (01:03:03):
The first game that I have circled is the Mets
in the Rockies game over the past three four days.
The like I mentioned earlier, I looked into the weather
for these games for for home runs. Specifically, they've had
some of the best weather conditions out in Colorado. It's
literally been the best in the league. Guys, the Mets
are hot. They have a whole bunch of hot hitters.
(01:03:25):
And then when I followed up earlier and said, the
next thing I look into is the opposing pitcher. I
don't know how to pronounce his name, to be honest, Gomber,
Is that how you Yeah, that's what we don't like.
Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:03:39):
He it's just not good at pitching.
Speaker 10 (01:03:42):
He's he's three and seven with a four point six
six e r A. I believe he's lost two straight.
The Mets are red hot and they have a lot
of guys that can match lefties, so I'll probably be
be taking them to win the game straight up. And
I think guys like at Alonso Francisco, Indoor Jade Martinez, Jason,
(01:04:04):
it will be on my lean list in the morning.
That's that's probably me my favorite look for a game,
and in a picture of the target as of right now,
I can sneak.
Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
One in here quick before we do the parlay.
Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
I know you've been all over the Giants lately, David,
and as they've just been getting lefty after lefty, which
is what they mash. They get another one tomorrow. And
DJ Hurs, who hasn't been anything special, He's been okay,
But are you gonna be targeting guys like Tyler Fitzgerald
and Elliott Ramos again tomorrow.
Speaker 10 (01:04:32):
It's hilarious that you said that there they were. If
I was going to mention another game, that's actually where
I was going. Hers has been getting hit, I think
going into last game out of two point he's be
getting up two point two home runs for nine innings,
which is an insane right, I'd love to see that.
And like I and like you mentioned, I've I've been
(01:04:53):
I've somehow been able to protect every Giant home run over.
Speaker 6 (01:04:55):
The past week here.
Speaker 10 (01:04:56):
I don't know how, but I'm definitely going to keep
the try to try to keep it going. Guys like
in Porto, Fitzgerald, Chapman. Probably all three of those guys.
I don't see why I wouldn't have them in the
next tomorrow. So that's you're right on point with that one.
I appreciate.
Speaker 6 (01:05:15):
That's uh great minds tick alike.
Speaker 1 (01:05:17):
You know, Well, let's get to our People's parlay here
for tomorrow. I recognize and I will give out the
disclaimer that the play you're going to give us is
a play that you like. It's a it's a play
you stand by, but obviously it is not your absolute
favorite play that is going to exist on Thursday, because again,
we don't have the lines and you are more of
a prop better, and we just don't have any props,
(01:05:39):
so you are a little bit limited in what you
are able to supply us. I just figure I'll put
that you know, out there into the ether. But as
far as you know, even with challenges, although there were
some props available the last time you came on, as
you alluded to, you've been part of the People's Parlay once.
The parlay did lose, unfortunately, but that wasn't on you
because the play that you gave us hit. So Dan
(01:06:01):
and I need to be better and we need to
collectively cap collective. If you will all put this together
and hopefully among your many parlays that will be offered
tomorrow and hopefully cash, hopefully the Gambler Show parlay can
be one of them. And so let's dive into it,
your favorite play as it exists right now, David, what
do you have for us?
Speaker 6 (01:06:21):
Just to follow up on our last parlay? I was
in shambles, and I feel like you were too. We
lost that the way we did. What did the Pirates
give up.
Speaker 10 (01:06:28):
Four in the bottom of the ninth to the Phillies
or something or no vice versa, And I can't remember what.
Speaker 6 (01:06:33):
It was, but it was a just a devastating loss.
I don't know memory completely it was. We were right there.
Speaker 10 (01:06:39):
But anyways, where we're not going to come up short
this time. I'm a look that I kind of, you know,
briefly touched on earlier. I'm going to stay in Colorado
and I'm going to kick the Mets to win by
the run line, which is negative one point five at
negative one oh five on sandal. Pretty simple reasoning here.
(01:07:00):
Like I had already mentioned, Mets are hot, Peterson's pitching
for them five and one.
Speaker 6 (01:07:05):
This year.
Speaker 10 (01:07:05):
He didn't start to season with them, was hurt, but
he's came back and as his looked great. The Iraqis
are just not a good team. One of their worst
pitchers is pitching. It's just I feel like it's set
up for the Mets to win by you know, three
or four runs here. So I'm taking the Mets one
point five on the run line and they get a
one to oh five on standal and probably pretty universal.
Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
All right, Dan, what do you have to minus one
oh five for me?
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
Play for play for me, two guys, I'm gonna take
the Orioles team total over four and a half Tomorrow
night in Toronto. Kevin Gosman has been terrible. He's faced
Baltimore six times in his career since he left there.
He has given up what Baltimore's scored at least five
runs in five of those six games. Whether it's him
being terrible or the bullpen being terrible. So give me
Baltimore to score at least five runs tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
So the Braves, we had the Braves minus one and
a half. That was our guest pick for tonight, and
obviously they lost. Didn't even get hooked on the run line.
It was just a bad situation for us. But I'm
going back to Atlanta to start off our people's parlay tomorrow.
Charlie Morton on the mound, he is coming off a
masterful start no runs or one unearned run six innings
(01:08:13):
against the Marlins in a win. I realize generally he
was not very good in the month of July, so
hopefully August is off to the right start. As far
as Frankie Montas on the other side, he has consistently
giving up three plus runs over his last four starts.
One of those was against the Braves when he allowed
four runs ten hits, didn't make it out of the
(01:08:33):
fifth and that was his final start of the month
of July. I am going Atlanta on the money line.
I'm hoping that not going Atlanta first five money line
at a little bit more juice is not going to
burn me. I am going the full game Atlanta money line.
So couple that with the Orioles team total over and
the Mets on the run line, we have a plus
(01:08:54):
five thirty nine on Caesar's folks. That is our people's
parlay for tomorrow and again starts up right around noon.
Speaker 10 (01:09:03):
Sounds incredible. I think that's a winner if you ask.
Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
Me, well, if anyone knows a winner these days, it
is definitely you. Check out, David, check out Cap Collective.
We hit those at We hit those two underscores and
the number nine on Twitter. And you know, for people
say they can't be doing this right, everything you guys
are talking about no way. Well, they got receipts and
they are out there and they got a lot of
(01:09:25):
happy customers, a lot of fun. As always, David, we'll
talk soon. Let's hit this parlay.
Speaker 10 (01:09:31):
Hey, we hit those, man. I appreciate you guys. Thanks
Adam for having me. I'll be looking forward to having
it again. And let's cash that people's parlay.
Speaker 1 (01:09:38):
All right, sounds great. We'll be back to put this
show to bed. Now. It's time to put this show
to bed with my pillow, So Dan listen. I wouldn't
blame anybody who listened to this show in particular and
the thought to themselves, like, Adam, take a shower. You've
(01:10:00):
been fangirling out about Cap Collective And although we hit.
Speaker 11 (01:10:03):
Those, crew, what are your favorite plays for the last
two for the last two hours by I got it
to like, I just I know you are as well,
I'm fascinated by the process and I am just marveling
at what they are doing.
Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
Right, I've never heard of ballpark pal before tonight.
Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
You see.
Speaker 3 (01:10:19):
Yeah, teaching the people exactly. Teach me, please, please, baseball,
Please teach me how do I.
Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
Hit these three leg home run parlays, quarter at a time,
whatever it may be, just a sprinkle, every combination known
to man. Just tell me who to play. All right,
we gave you the People's Parlay, but just to give
it to you again real quick, we offered you the
Atlanta Braves money line. That's for me. David at we
(01:10:49):
hit those cap collective Mets minus one and a half
and Dan the Orioles over four and a half team
total in their game in Toronto. That is a plus
five nine on Caesar's Best place for you to do that.
We also gave out another team future first in the NFC,
that is the Los Angeles Rams to make the playoffs
plus one h five over on ESPN. You can also
(01:11:11):
get it at some of the other books at even money.
So pretty close. We want to thank all of our
guests tonight, of course, Dennis Freeman, Doug Kyde, David, we
hit those cap collective great stuff. We got one more.
We're going to wrap up the NFC West tomorrow with
the Seahawks and the Cardinals in much more baseball as
well for Brian Dan and Madam Siya.
Speaker 5 (01:11:33):
For the best night's sleep you've ever had, go to
micpillow dot com and use the code Gambler
