The Gambler starts. Now, here'sAdam Kaufman. What's up everyone, Welcome
to Monday. It's The Gambler withAdam Kaufman here on WRKO. Of course,
we come Madge Monday through Thursday, ten to midnight Eastern time. If
you miss any of the show,we always encourage that you do go back
check out the podcast for all ofthe relevant information for the following day,

(00:24):
because oftentimes at this hour, asyou would expect, we're talking about plays
not only that are happening right nowin the moment, but of course for
the next day in an effort tomake you some money. And we have
been a very profitable program. Infact, as a show going all the
way back to May first when welaunched, we are right around plus sixty
five units. So obviously, ifyou have been following from the very beginning

(00:47):
or even jumping in somewhere along theway, I have to imagine you're making
some money. So do check outthe podcast. Like I said, if
you miss any of the live show, just wherever you get your podcasts,
Apple, Spotify, Pandora, stitchEr, you name it, just search
full name The Gambler with Adam Kaufman. It'll pop up, subscribe, rate,
review, all that good stuff. We do appreciate it. We are
keeping an eye on two Monday nightfootball games, which in all it's just

(01:12):
incredible intelligence. The NFL opted toschedule directly opposite one another, no staggered
doubleheader like we've had in the past, exactly identical eight to fifteen starts.
So that's stupid. But we havethe Dolphins and Titans, the Packers and
Giants, and this Dolphins game reallywas not supposed to be a football game.

(01:37):
This should have really been a lotlike what we saw from the Dolphins
last week or the you know Cowboyslast night. You know, this should
have been a walk in the park. Instead, as we sit early third
quarter, five minutes into the third, the Dolphins actually trail in this game
ten to seven to the Titans,a woeful Titans who have a terrible secondary.

(02:02):
The Dolphins are driving. They areon the cusp of scoring. Hopefully
that happens. I say that though, on the cusp, because one,
they haven't done it yet, andtwo we've already seen the Dolphins turn the
ball over in the red zone tonight. Now, they did immediately have a
pick six in a very short rangethat worked out all the way back at
the start of the game, buthopefully they can punch it into the end

(02:22):
zone here. But a large part, if you have not been following along,
of the reason that the Dolphins dotrail in this game is because Tyreek
Hill went down very early. Hehas been officially questionable to return. He
had two targets to catches thirteen yards. Of course, you may remember if
you were with us back on Thursday, that he was the final leg of
our people's parlay for that weekend play. Eric Lindquists played over on hills receiving

(02:51):
yards over one oh four to oneoh five, and it really steamed up
too to like one o eight, one ten whatever, crazy numbers, so
we had great closing line value.Dolphins wound up having to settle for a
field goal. So it's ten allgame, nine thirty five to go in
the third. The report from LauraRutledge, assuming she can be believed,
you never know with what we hadfrom CHRISA. Thompson earlier this year.

(03:14):
I'm kidding. Laura Rutledge is reputable. According to Rutledge, on the sideline,
Mike McDaniel, the head coach ofthe Dolphins told her that Tyreek Hill
is still hoping to give it ago, hoping to return, so he
wasn't out there for that second halfopening drive. We'll see if he does
find his way back into this game, would be great, would be great

(03:34):
as we chase his props. Wouldcertainly be great for the Dolphins, who
remember were favored by fourteen points goinginto this contest again a ten all game.
The other one the Packers and Giants, so we built out We put
the plays out in the Action Networkapp. The Gambler with AK is the
handle we post the vast majority ofour plays there. The other one that
the other parlay that we built pregamethat was exclusive to the Action app for

(03:58):
anyone that follows us. There wasthe Packers to cover, and they were
five and a half six point favorites. Also the over on Jordan Love's passing
yards, which were still about onehundred and ten away, but again we
have basically the entire second half togo, so that is absolutely within range.
The other the over on aj Dillon'srushing yards, which we still need

(04:23):
about thirty five thirty six or soto get there. So again you know,
one big run in theory could dothat, but his longest run so
far is just seven yards. Hedid have a thirty five yard catch and
run, but that doesn't help usin the old rushing category. The Giants
lead that game fourteen to ten, though, so obviously the covering on the

(04:43):
Green Bay side of things is alittle bit in jeopardy. But like I
said, a lot of game lefttwenty five minutes as a matter of fact,
left in this game. And Ican also tell you about a fun
new ladder challenge that we introduced withsome of our favorite guests a little bit
earlier today. We'll save that.Of course, it was a busy football
weekend. When you're a volume betterlike me, you get a lot right

(05:06):
and you get quite a few thingswrong as well, and so that is
going to be part of what wediscussed when we get into the NFL Review
preview. Dave Sharapan from Sports Gridis going to join us, first time
on this show, but obviously wellknown in the industry. We will talk
with him throughout much of this firsthour, give you some bank roll repairs

(05:27):
at the end of the hour.Next hour, some hockey and basketball with
a prop bet guy from Action Networkalso NBC Sports Brad Thomas, So that
should all be fun. But DanWatkins is here, Brian, But is
your run the board? Dan,Brian? Both of you? How are
the weekends? Jamake a little money? How the bets go? Saturday was
good, Sunday not so much.I kind of went all in on Justin

(05:50):
Field's rushing yesterday, thinking that hewould just run all over the Lions and
like the last time, yeah, like the last three times he's played.
Three out of the four times,he's run for over one hundred yards on
them, and I was, youknow, I escalated them all the way
up to ninety yards and he finishedwith fifty nine, and he had fifty
in the first half. So itwas a very, very very frustrating afternoon

(06:14):
there watching that game. Saturday night. The n season tournament was good.
Army Navy. I'm still furious, never going to get over that one.
That is like the baddest beat ofall bad beats there, having under twenty
seven and a half and Army kneelsfurther or kicks the ball out of the
back of the end zone for anintentional safety there and push that over twenty
eight. But it wasn't even likethat don't get me wrong. That was

(06:35):
infuriating, without a doubt. Butthe craziest part, even more than that,
in some ways, is that thatlooked like a sweat free under Yeah.
I mean there were what eighteen pointsscored in the fourth quarter? Yeah,
it was ten to nothing going intothe fourth, right, I believe
it was. Yeah, And Navywas doing nothing. Then all of a

(06:56):
sudden, Army just they stopped holdingthe line at him. They were done.
They didn't want to play defense anymore. Just quit. Just let the
midshipmen sail right down the field.Nice, you're on fire tonight. Oh
yeah, this anngry is so madabout that game. Never gonna get over
that one. But I will say, though, next time that event is
here, I'm going because that lookedawesome. Yeah, I'm a little I

(07:20):
mean it was fine. I wasdoing some work. I couldn't have gone
anyway, But I was invited togo at like months and months ago,
So I guess at the time Ihad I accepted, I would have just
declined work over the weekend. Sowhatever it all, you know, evens
out. But I could have gone. A whole bunch of people that I

(07:43):
know went as part of a fortiethbirthday celebration, like you know, rented
a bus, did a whole bigtailgates. I mean, it's perfect scene
for it, right, I mean, it's not just football and Foxborough and
all of that. It's Army Navy. And I've never been to, you
know, obviously that event and firsttime in Foxborough. Usually it's in Philadelphia.
Historic event as we know, wellover a century at this point in

(08:05):
time. And and yeah, Imean from from what I understand, certainly
from what I saw on TV,like you it lived up to the hype.
But it I hear it was apretty great event to be at,
obviously, absolutely, and it's justone of It's one of those events that's
just so cool no matter what Imean, well, regardless of how the
actual game is played, it's justit's the event to be there for all
that going off and everything. Imean, you know, you got College

(08:26):
game Day there, you got otherpregame shows there. It's it's just it
looked like a lot of fun.Bill couldn't even get a win there,
huh. Now had the Navy helmeton for Corso pre game. He was
the official pickers we were talking aboutlast week for a game day prior to
the game, and uh, youknow his the midchip Yeah, one one

(08:46):
minus one unit forville Man. Yeah, it's h It's okay. And now
people are obsessed with the idea thathe's going to go into TV post football
as well. You know, didyou guys know that he won an me
back when he did that show withthe celebration of a hundred years or yeah,
or like yeah, I did knowthat. I because I'm a I'm

(09:11):
a media nerd who remembers when thathappened, right, everybody was like shocked
he wanted at me for that?Yeah he did. He was really good.
Watch it. If you've been payingattention to Bill for the last twenty
plus years, if there's some ifit's a topic that he likes, he
won't Oh god, he'll go onfor hours about it. But no,
it's just because he doesn't want Hedoesn't play, you know, play ball
with the media every week, everyone day during its press conference. And

(09:33):
I mean, if ever there werean historian for football as we know,
sure, so yeah, perfect atmospherefor me. I mean he I don't
think it's going to happen, butobviously if he be Yeah, definitely would
not bet I don't know what theodds are, would not bet on it.
I'm sure there's some overseas book whereyou can wager on Bill Belichick's future.
Will he, you know, coretire? Will he be the Patriots

(09:54):
coach? Will he coach for anotherteam? Will he coach for this specific
team? Will he work the media? Will he be a front office executive?
All the different options. No,I do not believe that he is
going to go into television, butI do believe that if he wanted to,
he'd be good at it for sure. But then again, if you
had asked me prior to Tom Brady'sretirement, would he ever work as an

(10:16):
analyst? I would have said, there's like no way in hell. No,
it's true. But technically he issupposed to do at the start of
next year. Money talks, man, he's under contract. But yeah,
as the Patriots go forward. Heresome big, big draft news today.
Not surprising. Drake may skipping hisBowl game if you're thinking of betting the
tar Hills there in their bowl, but he is declaring for the NFL Draft

(10:37):
going forward. Caleb Williams is skippingthe Holiday Bowl against Louisville, but he
has not declared yet, So justthat little bit of quarterback news there.
Sure, I have to imagine that'sgoing to happen. I mean when you
know you are going to be thenumber one pick, right, I mean,
well, we've heard those rumblings withCaleb that you know he wants that.
He might not depending on who's pickingfirst. So I don't know if

(10:58):
he's got something big against the Bear. Maybe maybe he doesn't. Maybe he
goes back to USC or just sitsout next season. I don't know.
Be interesting. Yeah, I meanit's at least I mean, if you
go back, you keep getting thatnil money. Anyway you can do that.
Yet, it was there's no benefitof sitting out. It's probably almost
Hell, he could probably get closeto double what he'd make in the NFL

(11:18):
next year. Yeah, for hisrookie contract. Absolutely, Yeah, for
his rookie year contract, without adoubt. Yeah. So well, we
will uh certainly talk more football.I'm just keeping an eye on it.
We got three legs in on theuh the public group ladder challenge that was
posted on Twitter. Uh put thisout with. Like I said, some

(11:41):
of our favorites, Prop Bomb,Joe de Lera, Steve Keach also Jim
Turvey, who has not been onthis show yet but he's part of Action
Network, will come on certainly atsome point. Five legs the Gambler represented
in there, and we've got four, no, three down so far out

(12:01):
of the five, and we arestill sweating the Let's see if unless the
Rocket's already won. No, theRockets won, so I take that back
for it. Where all we're sweatingis my leg, which is the Miami
Dolphins, which should have been sweatfree on the money line. So we'll
see what ends up happening in thisone. When we come back. We
will be joined by Dave Scharapan fromSports Grid NFL review preview here in the

(12:24):
Gambler with Adam Coffman. We areback here on The Gambler with Adam Kaufman
WRKO again keeping an eye on thesetwo Monday night football games. The Packers
with the field goal to cut theirdeficit in the Meadowlands to the Giants to
fourteen thirteen New York with the ballsix point thirty to go in the third

(12:46):
quarter, and the Dolphins and Titansremain tied to two about six minutes to
go in the third Dolphins are puntingbut most notably Tyreek Hill is back is
available Dan Watkins, which is significantobviously, not only for the Dolphins to
go ahead and hopefully win this game. To you know, I can only
imagine people out there with money linebets. This was the free square.

(13:09):
The Miami Dolphins or people that teasedown the spread took him at let's say
minus six and a half. Icertainly did that in some places. Didn't
want to go the full two touchdowns, or you're chasing Hill props. Maybe
just maybe got an outside chance. Now if he, you know, has
a couple of long catch and runs, we'll see. But this is obviously

(13:30):
the an exciting thing, and weare chasing the over on his receiving yards
as well for the final leg ofa parlay that we would love to hit
that we thought was dead. Sowe'll see how that goes. But let's
go to the guest line and bringin for the first time on this show.
Although obviously very very well known withinthe industry, Dave Sharapan from Sports

(13:52):
Grid. He is part of theBoston Versus the Book Bostonian Versus the Book
show, which is availed on sportsGrid. Does that with Matt Perrault.
He is also the You can gethim on Twitter at Sportsbook, Can sig
Sportsbook, Can Siglieri. I can'tsay that with any sort of an accent
because I am American. Dave. How are you good, Adam? Good

(14:15):
your voice? Yeah, we hada quick busy yesterday on Sports Grid on
In Game Live. We're doing thatevery night there and yeah, it's fun.
We're getting out there more and more. You know, we called the
show Bostonian versus the Book because Mattis from Boston originally, so I have
to listen to the Boston propaganda everysingle day. What's just fine? Like

(14:37):
because I grew up in Pittsburgh, but you know, I spent about eighteen
months back in the day down inCurisol learning the business, had a PhD
down there, and you know, did a little stint of the Dominican and
hopped around before all this was whatit is now where you're doing a radio

(14:58):
sh ambler on Boston radio and it'slegal where you live now. So right,
well, you know a lot ofmy life was spent in the shadows,
and like you know, you goto family reunions and different things and
everybody's like, what are you doing. I'm working at a sports But what
what do you mean? Yeah, kind of like you know, like a

(15:18):
bookkie, But I'm in Vegas.Has been almost twenty years here, so
it's crazy, man, But it'sgood. It's good to talk to you
on a Monday night with two games? Why is there two games at them?
There's two games on the same time, and the NFL does this from
time to time, as we know, usually earlier on in the season.
But that's not even the question forme, David. It's why are there

(15:39):
two games that are on completely concurrentlyas opposed to being staggered? Right?
You know, put one on earlyat seven, the other one starts at
ten. Why are we doing bothat eight fifteen? Well? I think
they gambled a little bit in thatif one is a mismatch, they have
another game to go to, andthen they got way more than they bargain
for, or because Tennessee's given Miamieverything they can handle, and then some

(16:03):
ten to ten you know, latethe third quarter, the total endgame is
down to what does that say, thirty thirty three and a half. Miami's
being total coming into this was thirtyand a half, right, Yeah,
So nobody saw this one coming theway it's going. But nobody saw Tyree
Hill getting hurt, which might makehis case for the MVP even go up

(16:30):
more because you know you can't giveit to a non quarterback. But geez,
one guy's out. They don't knowwhat to do. They look like
they look like they don't know whereto throw the ball, and Tennessee is
going, Okay, well he's notout here. Let's make sure they can't
run the ball very much and maketo a beatus he's unable to do it.
The other game has been perplexed becauseI thought the line was a little

(16:55):
high. Green Bay going on theroad, green Bay has looked great,
don't get me wrong. I meanI think their playoff team. But off
of by go onto the Meadowlands, hard place to play. The Giants.
Tommy Cutlets sens what they're calling himin New York. The guy walks in.
Did you see the jacket he walkedin with? At him? He
didn't know. Oh, I justwant to bought Twitter. It's sports to

(17:18):
be taken sick. I put iton there. I saw if the Giants
put it out there. He walkedin with the loudest jacket that you would
not believe walking into work today, and I thought the Giants money line may
actually be in play tonight. Ifthe kids walking in like this, you
know, mom must have made agood dinner, pregame meal, and he's

(17:44):
coming in, you know, tryingto take him out. He's not trying
to cover, He's trying to winthe game. So I don't know,
it's it's crazy. I think you'rebossed. The Patriots are non factor in
December for the first time in along long time. So there there's a
lot going on in the NFL.Non FA not only a non factor already

(18:07):
eliminated, which is just you know, flex out of a Monday game.
The Chiefs are you know, TaylorSwift and everyone moved to a Sunday So
it's yeah, it's pretty incredible. But let's you know, this being our
NFL review preview. Next segment withyou, well, we'll look ahead to
this coming weekend. Let's sort ofrehash a little bit of what we saw
over this past weekend. So Iwas on Cincinnati to beat the Colts.

(18:30):
I didn't anticipate a twenty point win, but I did feel the Bengals were
going to win that game. Butyou know, some people out there certainly
were, you know, mildly surprisedby that. I know a lot of
people thought the Texans were going totake care of the Jets. Now I
know CJ. Stroud got hurt. There were a litany of other injuries for
the Texans as well, but theJets exploded thirty second half points won that
game by three and a half scores. The Ravens had to outlast the Rams

(18:56):
in overtime. There were just somewacky games remind the Vikings and Raiders that
produced almost exactly zero points. Itwas a Minnesota three nothing win in Las
Vegas in the return of Justin Jefferson, though he didn't return for very long
before leaving with the chest injury.Which spot or spots from this weekend really
stuck out most to you in termsof the just the importance of what they

(19:18):
meant going forward here in the season. Well, this was I mean as
far as like looking at the numbersand stuff before the games were played and
then the results. This was oneof the best weekends I had in a
little bit because I just saw things. And again, sometimes it comes up
experience. Sometimes you just get itright. I don't know by the way

(19:41):
it has the guys to score toextend their lead. They're going to go
up twenty one to thirteen, twentythirteen with the extra point pending. The
Lions laying points on the road atthe Bears. Surprised me that it was
over. It was three at onepoint, it was over three, it
was three and a half. ButI really thought the Bears of live and
I ca it came out exactly kindof the way I thought it would.

(20:04):
The Bills had everything set up forthem to win that game. Now they
still had to have Tony be youknow, over the line, to be
all size to get that call. But that was what I was not really
surprised about. Everybody in the AFCis in the mix or in the hunt
or whatever you want to call it, except by two or three teams,

(20:26):
the Patriots being one of them. The other one, Adam, how about
the Broncos beating the Chargers. Herbertgot hurt, Yes, but the Chargers
can't be laying points to anybody notin the state in condition that that team
is in and the way they areunable to just perform to somewhat expectations with

(20:47):
the talent that they are perceived tohave. Herbert gets a pass a lot.
Staley's a mess and they were layingpoints. With Denver being one of
the hottest teams in football, thatwasn't a surprise. It was just a
good bet. And then of courseSunday night the Cowboys, everything was set
up. The Eagles are a tiredfootball team in the midst of the hardest
stretch of the season. That wasone of the easier plays to just lay

(21:11):
it and go with it. SoI don't know, those were the games
I focused on. The Browns alsowas another winner that I thought was,
you know, kind of going intothe game, I didn't think that Trevor
Lawrence was as healthy as he wasa little bit scary when it came out
and you saw him, like,oh, he's not really hurt. This

(21:33):
one may leave a mark, youknow. But the Browns answered the bell,
flack who answered the bell. Anotherimpressive win. We're gonna have a
lot to talk about in the nextsegment. There's some really interesting STORYLINESI games
come up this street, Dave, you mentioned it quickly there, But did
Baltimore not covering yesterday surprise you.A lot of people, including myself were

(21:53):
on the Ravens laying seven. Iwas at seven and a half earlier in
the week. The Ravens do endup getting the win. The walk off
punt return always a fun play, but the only one by six, so
I'm left empty handed there. Yeah, that was one of those ones.
So I want to Drome better showin Pittsburgh every week. And they asked
me to pick the division games ofthe AFC Norton because I'm originally Comptsburgh.

(22:15):
So I had the Rams in thegame only because I've sat in the book
for all these years and gone, this is the game that's going to get
everybody. This is the game now. They covered the teaser and it took
you a walk off punt return todo it. But once it gets over
seven, the Rams to me area playoff team in the NFC. Now

(22:40):
are they going to make it?Maybe? Maybe not, but they're competitive
and staffe playing is best football rightnow. So I thought that defense live
not That game played out a littlebit differently than I thought I thought it.
The other reports kind of get yourhead to where you go. Oh
West Coast team going east, reallystart nasty weather. You guys experience a

(23:02):
winner out there out west. Wedon't nearly experience it. As much a
perfect sense to play the Ravens, but that was one of those ones.
Like I said, we'd be sittingin a book going, yeah, we
need to rams, and more oftenthan not, it feels like the book
gets those decisions to go their way. Dave Sheripan is here with us from
Sports Grid our NFL review preview. We're going to look ahead to what is

(23:23):
to come in this upcoming week aswe continue to keep an eye obviously on
these two football games that are goingon, but there's football coming up real
quick on Thursday Chargers Raiders. That'llbe a barn burner. And then obviously
we have Saturday football this weekend aswell as tripleheaders, so it's not all
Sunday. It's going to be fun. We have to figure out how we

(23:44):
want to handle that with all ourparlays here that we do on this show.
Stay with us. It's the Gamblerwith Ada Kauffman here on w RKO.
We are back. Dolphins have theball a decent return. They let
up a field goal nearly a touchdown, but it was reversed, so that
is beneficial obviously if you're on theMiami side of things. But they do

(24:04):
trail the Dolphins to the Titans nowthirteen to ten. It is start of
the fourth quarter and or at leastit will be in a matter of seconds.
Tyreek Hill, if you're just joiningus, he left early with an
injury, but he is back.Did not get to target in the subsequent
drive upon his return, but hopefullyhe will get one next time out.

(24:26):
We'll see how that obviously ends upgoing. Keep you posted on how all
of that looks. In fact,he has been targeted and he's up to
thirty six yards. Nice gain twentythree for Tyreek Hills. The Dolphins already
reacting and very nearly out to midfield. Dave Shearpan is here with us from
the Bostonian versus the book Sports Gridand obviously has been in the industry for

(24:47):
a long time since, as henoted earlier back in the very very Overseas
Illegal Days. And this is ourNFL review preview. We're looking ahead to
what we have in the upcoming weekin the NFL. And let's skip past
four games for a moment. Bythat, I mean Thursday and three on
Saturday. And you know it isBoston, Boston based show. Let's start
with the Patriots, who at homeare actually getting nine and a half against

(25:11):
the Chiefs. I phrase it thatway because there's a part of me that
is surprised that it's that close. But I think it speaks to two things.
One, the Chiefs offense has beenwoefully inconsistent, not just lately all
year, and the Patriots defense.Say what you will about the team and
its offense, but the defense actuallyhas been very good and very consistent the

(25:32):
last really much of the year, even in spite of the injuries to the
lights of Matt Judohn Christian Gonzales, but played very well against Pittsburgh. The
previous four games allowed an average oflike ten points per game. So the
defense locked in right now. Andlike I said, at home, flex
down a Monday playing on a Sundayafternoon, Dave, what do we expect
from this game? Are the Chiefsgonna be pissed off after what happened against

(25:53):
Buffalo and absolutely pants the Pats?Or is this gonna stay close? Well,
this is one of those ones thatI mean, they're pissed off period.
They're still mad about the flag beingthrown and then you know, how
could you call that in that spot? So we're gonna hear about it in

(26:14):
a week. I'm surprised they don'tjust turn the page and go and they're
still talking. They're still talking abouttoday. But the number it opened up
a little bit higher out here inVegas, and you know in the offshore
world it was ten some places eventhroughout ten and a half to get the
Patriot money. Now that the interestingthing here, and you don't see this

(26:34):
too often even during the season,is the totals thirty seven or thirty seven
and a half. So it's sucha low total. Very rarely do you
get such a big spread. Ifyou look at the other big spread,
San Francisco's play in Arizona, it'sthirteen and a half, but the totals
forty eight. Jets are going toMiami, it's ten and a half,

(26:56):
the totals forty and a half orforty one. So it's a map pro
If you think the game's going togo under, it's a correlated parlay to
take the dog and take the Patriots. If you think it's going to go
over, you take the Chiefs andlay the points. So I think that
the handicap is simple, how manypoints did the Patriots score? If you

(27:19):
think they get fourteen or more thanthem. Covering ten or nine and a
half is very likely. If youdon't think they're going to score fourteen,
you know, twenty four thirteen isthirty seven points, which is the total.
That's eleven that would get you thereif you take Kansas City. So

(27:44):
that's the question. I mean,that's that's you know, in a nutshell,
that's kind of how we come upwith the numbers as an oddsmaker and
somebody who'd done it like you.Basically, you can also handicap the chief
score. If you think the Patriotsdefense is going to keep them under a
certain number, you can bet thatnow anywhere. But you can also use

(28:06):
it to handicap the game and maybemaybe take the points with the Patriots.
I'm not saying they are because I'mstill mad that my Steelers lost to the
Patriots on Thursday. They had everythingto play for, and you're right,
the Patriots defense is playing. ButBill was excited. Zappie's in. It's
a different offense. They can movethe ball a little bit. So the

(28:30):
first thought in there was like,Wow, it was really high for a
Chiefs team. It seems kind ofmessed up right now, Dave. This
Saturday night game is jumping out tome. The Lions. They're four and
a half or five point favorites athome, depending on the book. They're
playing the Broncos, and Denver's justkeeps finding ways to win games. Man.
They've rattled off six out of sevenhere Detroit. Meanwhile, they've been

(28:51):
up and down the last month. They've lost two out of three. They're
playing a lot of one score gameshere. Is this a good spot for
Denver Saturday Night? So here's onetake note of this one because this doesn't
happen very often. I don't knowwhen the last time it happened, but
on Sunday this week. This isfrom my friend Brent Tumbler. If you
parlayed all six teams that are beginningto let her be, you would have

(29:18):
cashed this money line parlay. Sothat included the Broncos, the Broncos,
the Bucks, the Bears, theBengals, the Browns, and the Bills.
All right, they all won andfour of them were dogs, so
you got paid. Nice. Denveris on a second game of a back
to back roadie. Okay, thesecond game of a road trip. It's

(29:45):
not I mean they go home inbetween, but two back to back road
games. The second time has beena big bet against for years, years
in a sports book, and Detroit'scoming off a terrible loss to another B
team, the Bears, and nowthey gotta play Broncos. Initial number here
in the Desert was four four anda half and now it's five and five

(30:07):
and a half in two places herein Vegas. So that's telling me what
I like to call the bag guys, the guys that come into the sportsbook
with bags of money to bet thelimit plays have already said, you guys
came a little bit low. Welike Detroit in this spot. Detroit at
home is way different than Detroit onthe road, and they are now playing

(30:32):
their divisions getting interesting, so theyhave to keep playing to maintain their spot.
I don't know if they're I don'tthink they're going to get the one
seed. I thought that dream wasalive if they beat the Bears, but
I think that's done. I don'tthink they can win out and they're basically
going to have to win out,So I actually I'm leaning Detroit, and
I've been on the Broncos I thinkfor four or five weeks in a row.

(30:56):
Cowboys and Bill's pretty fascinating one.Obviously. Buffalo is you know a
team that we talked about it overthe weekend that you know it certainly has
the talent, the ability to gethot. A team that's been very inconsistent
throughout the year, kind of likeKansas City, which is why the AFC
is just so incredibly wide open. But this is a real opportunity for Buffalo

(31:17):
at home against the Cowboys, teamthat has been playing out of its mind
mostly at home, but in general, scoring like crazy. We saw it
again against Philadelphia. This team isputting up thirty plus points almost effortlessly.
It's just a two point spread withBuffalo, of course being the home favorite,
has this one play out. Soyou come with this one when you

(31:37):
have to do the number initially, and you sit in the wrisk room and
talk with the other guys and yougo, all right, if we put
up three, they're coming with breachtrucks to bet the Cowboys. If we
come with pick or one, they'regoing to annihilate us with Bill's money.
So you put it too two anda half. And when it sit and
wait and wait for news to comeout. Maybe an injury or two,

(32:00):
maybe somebody you know is going toget inserted back in something, waiting for
information to move, anything to helpyou get a feel for where this needs
to be. Numbers perfect, Okay. A lot of guys that I respect
in town here and all over thecountry have been telling me, don't let

(32:21):
Buffalo in. Don't let Buffalo in. If you let Buffalo in, they
can win it. They can cometo Vegas. Everybody wants to come to
Vegas. The Super Bowls in Vegas. So the Bills legit. If they
get in with the right path, the AFC's wide open, guys, they
can do it. Now, we'regonna find out a lot about Dallas.

(32:45):
They beat up bad teams, Theybeat up bad teams on turf. They
score a lot of points. Idon't know when the last time you were
in Buffalo in December was. Butit's not a vacation. It's not gonna
be it's not gonna be nice.I first thought here, Buffalo. The
total came really high. Forty nineis one of the highest totals. Quick

(33:07):
glance at the board. This isthe highest total of the week of all
the games, and the Chiefs andthe Bills were the highest total week.
Yesterday and it went under. I'mtelling you, I think the game stays
under. I think Dallas finds outthat Buffalo is really a contender. I'm
leading Buffalo right now. Let's talkabout this Thursday night game before we let

(33:30):
you go coming up here in acouple of nights. Justin Herbert, he's
got broken fingers on both of hishands. So it looks like it's gonna
be easton Stick Thursday night. TheRaiders. Meanwhile, they didn't score a
point against the Vikings. The Vikingsshouldn't be shutting out anybody. What do
you make of this one? Asthe Raiders are favored by three points here
across the board. Okay, soyou go, wait a second, this

(33:51):
team just got shut out at hometo Minnesota and now they're laying three points.
Nothing makes sense. One of thethings I've said for years on both
sides of the counter, and I'vetaken bets for a million dollars and I've
taken a million bets for five dollarsand everything in between. I say,
nobody knows squadooshe all the time. How can you make this game make sense?

(34:15):
How can you make a team thefavorite Raiders minus three with someone named
Easton Stick, who I did notknow who he was until he came into
the game yesterday. I didn't haveno clue. Found out today he went
to North Dakota State. He getsthree days worth of reps on a team
that looks like disorganized and a mess. To total thirty three and a half.

(34:40):
And I'm telling you to think theplay is under I don't think there's
much going on in this game atall. You guys just saw the Chargers
beat the Patriots a couple of weeksago. Six nothing. I'm not saying
it's going to happen again, butthis is going to be an ugly game.
I don't know how much appointment viewingyou have to make Thursday. It
might be a good night to youknow, celebrate the holidays with the family,

(35:02):
go see the lights where Yeah,I don't know, I don't know.
They just every week it just getsworse. Oh that's a tough night.
That's a tough assignment. Yeah,I was hoping you guys asked about
the Sunday night game Baltimore and Jacksonville. That's that's the other really compelling game

(35:23):
of the week. Baltimore skates bythe Rams. I mean they earned the
wind. Don't get me wrong, but they're three and a half point favorites
at Jacksonville. A team who's backsagainst the wall has to have a win.
And it's one of those ones wherethey dangled at three and a half
in front of you, they say, go ahead, take it. It's
to be a field goal game. And you look at Jacksonville and you go,

(35:44):
ah, man, is this theweek? Is this the week they
do it? I can't wait thatone's gonna sit. You'll see it bounce
between three and three and a halfall week. But that's the hardest game
of the week for me. DaveSharapan again from The Bostonian Versus the Book
and from sports Grad of cour oryou can get him on Twitter at Sportsbook
Consigliari, that is sports BK cansig co n sig. They've always enjoyed

(36:07):
having you on man. We'll definitelytalk again soon. Appreciate you guys both.
Have a good rest of the eveningand get geared up for the Patriots
the sheets. Unless I'm sitting inTaylor's box, you know, what's what's
the point right where you're going? You know she'll be there, Donna will

(36:29):
be there. Who knows what othercelebrities are gonna make their way to New
England for this one. We're justgonna be hanging out watching from a far
James and they'll be Bruins games andin between those are those At least you
got those two things working up there. They've been they've been a cash out
for most better so far this season. Amen, all right, we're gonna
step aside as we keep an eyeon mostly the Dolphins and Titans. The

(36:52):
the UH Giants are up twenty oneto thirteen in that one. I think
Green Bay's hope is run out.But thirteen all in my Miami with Tennessee
coming back on the field, twelveand a half to go. In regulation,
stay with us bank roll repairs onthe way. It's time for your
bank roll repair, Howard. Bytoday's collision. We are back thanks to

(37:15):
the great folks at today's collision. We're gonna build out some bank roll repairs.
We went one out of three onthe weekend, had some bad beats.
Not ideal, but these things dohappen. I'm still sort of tweaking
Dan, to be perfectly honest,it may just be you I might not
have one if I if I don'tlike something here. Pretty fast, but

(37:37):
tough slate tomorrow it is. Buttell me, I think maybe I can
make something work. What do youhave? All right? I'll be quick
here. Three legs only available onDraftKings at the moment, we're going two
hockey legs. We are going overtwo and a half team goals for Edmonton.
They're taking the on the Blackhawks tomorrownight. We're going over two and
a half for the Florida Panthers aswell as they battled the Seattle crack in.

(37:59):
And then we are taking the DenverNuggets over one oh four and a
half for their team total. Youput those three legs together plus one twenty
five, all right, so we'regonna have not overlap per se in specific
plays, but in some games minusfour legs, it's minus one thirteen as
I see it on FanDuel. I'llshop around during the break, see if

(38:20):
we can get it better elsewhere.A little closer to even money. Edmonton
Oilers on the money line at homeagainst the Blackhawks. Of course, Dan
gave you the goals. Money linewin for the Oilers, money line win
for the Nuggets. A little shakyon the road. Back to back they're
in Chicago, but nevertheless, I'mgonna go with it. I like him
here. And then two college basketballgames, two home teams that are heavily

(38:40):
favored. Southern Illinois at home againstUS Austin p and then the other one,
which really should be the Free Squareat practically minus two thousand, Duke
at home against Hofstra, a heavyfavorite. So again money line wins for
Duke, Southern Illinois, the DenverNuggets, the Edmunds Oilers four legs,

(39:01):
and like I said, I'll shopit around, but minus one thirteen on
FanDuel. When we come back,we will have more basketball. We will
also have hockey. Prop Bet Guyand Brad Thomas still ahead. In hour
number two, that was your bankrollrepair powered by Today's Collision with locations involved
in Chelsea, Stoneham and Danvers.Check them out at Today's Collision dot Com.

(39:22):
The Gambler starts now here's Adam Kaufman. It's our number two at the
Gambler with Adam Kaufman here on WRKOagain. Great stuff from Dave Sharapan the
last hour going through the NFL reviewpreview. More on what we are still
living here on this Monday night ina moment and also of course we gave

(39:45):
out the bankroll repairs. Did shopmine around looks like FanDuel also ESPN bet
the only places you can currently buildmine. You could wait till tomorrow if
you want, when more lines areposted everywhere, but if you want to
jump in minus one twelve, minusone thirteen, somewhere in that range.
So the Dolphins punted the ball away. A muff punt by the Titans has
just led, I believe, toa Miami touchdown, and so the Dolphins

(40:08):
find themselves head by six, hopefullyseven. Momentarily, Raheem Mostert has gotten
in nice wheelbarrow celebration in the endzone. This is pretty good. Yeah,
little wheelbarrow race. Yeah, veryinteresting there by the Dolphins, hopefully
they get the ball back and keepthrowing, which they do tend to do,
because we do need a little bitmore from hell and multiple different things,

(40:30):
multiple different ways for me personally too. So likewise, don't want the
Titans to get on the board either. I want to maintain at least a
seven point win out of Miami.Let's talk a little bit about this,
but mostly basketball, as we bringon our buddy prop that guy from Action
Network Doug, how are you, man, I'm good. How are you

(40:51):
guys? Well, other than watchingwhat has just been really bad football tonight
between the NFL said or gotta doubleyour pleasure and give you two crappy games.
Now, I guess on the onehand, the Dolphins should have obliterated
the Titans, and that would havebeen a bad game in the eyes of
you know, the league and everythinglike that. People would have quickly switched

(41:13):
over to the other game. SoI guess at least this game has been
compelling, but it certainly hasn't beena good football game. What were you
on tonight? Because I know youare not just an NBA guy, You're
putting out props on on the NFLstreets as well. Often. Yeah,
absolutely so. I was on I'mon Devin A. Shane to get three
catches, which I know he justbarely got on that last drive, So

(41:35):
happy about that. But I,like I think a lot of people was
also on Dantevian Wicks in the inthe Packers Giants game. He's kind of
disappeared on us in the second half, not looking too great there, but
you never know, Packers are drivingright now. So yeah, like you
said, some interesting football, butyou know, football football, so it's
fun to watch, even if it'snot, you know, the best product.

(42:00):
Switching gears to basketball because that is, you know, at least for
tonight. We have you on fordifferent things all the time, but tonight
the focus of why we invited youhere, and obviously you've had quite a
bit of success here in the NBAseason. Just first off, it's not
a props thing, but you know, since it's it's recently concluded, I'm
curious what you thought of the ndseason tournament and if you are among the

(42:21):
many on social media earlier to mockthe Lakers, who, through fault of
their own order by Commissioner Adam Silver, I'm not sure, but sure enough
they're hanging an ist banner in LA. I love the tournament, first of
all, I'll lead with that.I love you know, it was always
going to be about how hard theplayers you know, took it, and

(42:43):
they it created a semi playoff atmosphere, which was really cool to see.
You know. In terms of theLakers, you know, it's a storied
franchise. It is cool for themto have won the first one. I
personally, I would put a bannerup I wouldn't do like a ceremony for
it. I don't know if they'replanning to, but I had a lot
of fun. It was, youknow, it was cool to get like

(43:04):
that, you know, heated playofftype environment so early in the season.
What are you looking at tomorrow inthe NBA and what are you still sweating
tonight? Actually, maybe that's abetter place to start among the various plays
that you put out anything for theselate games that you've got your eye on.
Yeah, so I'm currently sweating dearonFox under thirty one and a half

(43:29):
points. You know, the booksreally put out some big, big lines
for these superstars, and obviously Foxvery capable of scoring thirty two points.
But I was on him tonight justyou know, he's got the McCall bridges
matchup, which isn't easy, andthe Mets are decent defensive, decent enough
defensively that I you know, Iwas, I'm riding him right now and

(43:49):
kind of monitoring as we go.But you know, other than that,
you know, in terms of youknow, what I've noticed today is,
you know a bit of a letdownfrom these teams that did make a deep
run in the D season tournament.Kind of kicking myself. I didn't go
with an under on Tyree Halliburton, who also had a sky highline. I
think his forty five point five prtonight obviously capable of it. But you

(44:14):
know, I think there's going tobe an emotional letdown for some of these
teams after kind of a high ofthis tournament. It's a different situation for
them having to go back into theirregular seat the regular regular season games tomorrow.
We have just a handful of games. It's not a huge slate,
but the Celtics are among them athome against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the

(44:34):
Seeds are perfect at home by theway, ten and zero. Trying to
improve upon that. Some of theprops have started to filter out as well.
We see Jason Tatum, for instance, over twenty seven and a half
points is an even money bet rightnow, which is pretty interesting. Kristaps
porzingis, which is just someone youalways have to consider it seventeen and a
half and his number is often inthat vicinity. I see that at minus

(44:57):
a buck and a quarter. Anythingfrom this game that's jumped out at you,
you know, I I don't thinkthere will be lines out because the
Cavs played today, but kind ofthinking about a Jared Allen under. He
hasn't looked that good coming back fromyou know, the injury that held him
out early. He's gotten in soout trouble a lot. And the issue

(45:21):
with you know, him having toguard Porzingis because I believe Mobiley won't be
playing. But again we'll we'll seehow you know, the injury reports look
tomorrow. But the thing about Alanis he'll be he'll be pushed out onto
the perimeter, so you know,it's not only a tough matchup for him
scoring against the length of Porzingis, but also on the rebounding front, it
seems like it's going to be,you know, a good spot to ride

(45:43):
his under. Just a lot ofdifferent variables with him, especially on a
back to back as well, Socurious to see what those lines are.
And you know, in terms ofTatum, I don't think the Cavs has
anyone who could guard him and alwaysa good, you know, good spot
for him at home, so youknow, we'll see, uh, you
know, that's take a look atthat twenty seven and a half for him,
also his rebounds as well, Butcurious to see what the line the

(46:07):
books do with Jared Allen tomorrow,so you just kind of hinted at it.
There are quite a few back toback situations tomorrow night between the MAVs,
the Nuggets, the Kings and theClippers. Any targets in any of
those games, like, how doyou approach back to backs generally? Is
that more of a spot where you'regoing, Okay, this is probably gonna
be a good night to get anunder on one of these guys. Yeah,
absolutely, you know, it's oneof It's one of the more key

(46:29):
things that I do look at.I think there are some players, you
know, typically younger players who whoseem to do fine and have no drop
statistically on you know, zero daysress. But you know, some of
the older guys you never know, and it depends on what happened the night
before, if they had to play. You know, a guy like Luca,
I don't know what his minutes woundup being tonight, but if he

(46:51):
had to play you know, fortyish minutes, you know, can you
sustain that tomorrow? Because he's doingit with al Kyrie and kind of having
to do it everything. Definitely somethingI look at. So he played forty
four, he played forty four. There you go, not saying I would
necessarily play him under on him tomorhile, but definitely you know something I would
I would look at you know,he's not an older guy, but he

(47:13):
is, you know, someone whosometimes can get a little tired on that
second leg. So, guys,I gotta interrupt the NBA conversation for a
second. Chaos in the NFL.So if people haven't been watching while listening
to us, I told you theDolphins gone on the board with a touchdown
after the Titans muffed a punt andthat resulted in a short possession opportunity for

(47:37):
the Dolphins. Well, right onthe ensuing kickoff, the Titans got the
ball and they screwed up a handoffto Derek Henry, who was a fumble
by Will Levis, and Miami quicklypunched it in again with for the second
time Raerehem mostered a multiple score gamejust like that, and it's a two
touchdown lead for Miami with four anda half to go. Meanwhile, in
the other game, Green Bay,who looked dead and buried, has just

(48:00):
scored a touchdown to go up twentytwo twenty one in this one, going
for the two point conversion and lookslike the Giants stop them, So it's
if I'm correct about that, it'sgoing to stay a one point Green Bay
lead. With about nine seconds left, I'm screaming into a pillow because I
had the over on Jordan Love passingyards which was two twenty seven I think

(48:25):
it was to twenty eight and he'sat two eighteen right now and probably not
getting the ball again. And evenif he does, he's just gonna kneel
it out. And that's after mindyou, he threw for only six yards
in the entire third quarter. Yeahsix yeah, oh yeah, absolutely brutal
and aj Dillon, who I haveover fifteen and a half carries in over

(48:45):
sixty plus yards. They just decidedto give the ball to Jordan Reid and
they bring this h or Jaden Reid, excuse me, they bring this Patrick
Taylor, who I'd never heard ofbefore tonight in the game. He's got
thirty rushing yards. Just really reallytough all around there. Yeah, son,
unless Dylan is part of running outthe clock, you're gonna get hooked
on the carries, and obviously theyards will be a little short. Saquon

(49:06):
Barkley did wind up crossing over onhis over but yeah, a lot of
the receiving props people were on obviously. Doug here mentioned Wix he had two
for twenty in the opening half, and that's where he's landed. People were
over on Jaden Reid. He haseight receptions but somehow only twenty seven yards,
which I would have thought would beimpossible. I don't know how you

(49:30):
could possibly have eight for ten, eight receptions, ten targets and go for
sub thirty yards. We just sawthis with Pickens the other night. Would
he wipe it like six for nineteen? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that
was another one that burned us.But this is yeah, remarkable anyway.
So it looks like even though greenBay is not gonna do what we needed,
which was cover, looks like greenBay is going to win this thing

(49:52):
unless in the final ninety seconds andthe Giants do have the ball down one
they can string something together. We'llsee, I mean talk about being the
top of the town. Tommy Cutletscan can can pull this one off.
We'll find out. But bring thisback to the NBA for just a moment.
Any other spots before we let yougo, that that you are keeping
an eye on looking at target, whether it's a prop that's already out or

(50:15):
something that you know, just thespot you like that you'll be watching for
Yeah, definitely, I mean Ikind of alluded to it already, but
curious to see where the books landwith Lebron's lines tomorrow. Obviously coming off
playing big minutes in the tournament, winning, you know, winning it all
emotional high their then traveling you know, back to California to watch Bronnie play

(50:37):
yesterday. A lot going on inhis life, and I'm not saying that
he is incapable of lighting up aMavericks team who isn't that great defensively,
but I'd be curious to see ifthe books are kind of continuing on the
trend of how much Lebron's been producingin that nd season tournament compared to you
know, maybe they pair his minutesdown back to you know, the thirty

(51:00):
to the thirty five minute range tomorrow. So curious to see where the books
land on that. That's kind ofwhat one spot I have circled for sure.
All right, prop bet guy.We always enjoy having Doug on.
Of course, he's part of theAction Network. You can get him on
Twitter at that handle at prop betGuy. Check out his picks on the
Action Network app as well at propbet Guy. And he's out there again

(51:22):
in the NFL and NBA prop bettingstreets, just trying to make you some
money, just trying to fill upthose wallets just in time for the holidays.
Go out and get your presence, but first win a few bets along
the way. Doug, thanks forjumping on, buddy. We'll talk soon.
Appreciate you guys. Thanks for havingme absolutely all right, So much
more to come, including the conclusionof these two football games pretty soon here

(51:44):
Tennessee trying to do something might betoo little, too late with three minutes
to go. After again, Imean this was I'm not upset. I'm
on the Miami side, and Iam shocked that there's a possibility that two
touchdown cover actually comes through for people, especially if you got it at thirteen
and a half. But that,I mean, this was a very winnable
game for Tennessee. Oh, absolutelyvery winnable and just absolutely defecated all over

(52:09):
itself. Yeah, bad team eventuallyrears its ugly head and that's what happened
there. Yeah, without a doubt. When we come back, Brad Thomas
from NBC Sports Talk a little NHL. We will also build out a people's
parlay. So the Giants actually tookcare of business. Wow, Tommy Cutlets,

(52:32):
Tommy DeVito is going to be thetalk of the town. Was he
three and one now as a starter? Three and two? I think something
like that. I mean, therewere a lot of people. I just
had Green Bay to win, youknow, I wasn't worried about the spread,
but there were Giants. You know, plus six and a half or
whatever the number was was a youknow earlier in the week. Obviously came

(52:53):
down to five and a half six, but giants with the points was a
very popular play this week, youknow, and I knew that. I
mean I didn't play it, LikeI said, I just didn't believe in
it. Not that I really believedin Green Bay all that heavily either.
I wouldn't have bet either side withconviction. But I am surprised that New

(53:15):
York won the game. I'm surprisedthat New York won the game the way
that it did with Green Bay comingback. Obviously, with that touchdown in
the final moments, ninety seconds left, the Giants had to go the distance,
had to go to length of thefield to at least get themselves into
field goal range anyway, and youknow, kick that walk off winner and

(53:36):
it could be a sock on thedoor at home tonight in Tommy DeVito's parents'
house, because this guy is ridinghigh in New York. Wow. Impressive.
Meanwhile, what do I get forrelentlessly, mercilessly mocking the Titans?
A touchdown from Tennessee and a twopoint conversion which screws up my minus six

(53:58):
and a half. So granted twoand a half minutes to go, Miami
is the ball. See what theDolphins can put together. They'll be motivated
to get points, obviously because theyonly lead by six. So hopefully we
can get some more out of Miamiin this one. Then defensive stand then
that game certainly an opportunity to getus some yards for Tyreek Hill, so
we will keep an eye on that. He is four for sixty one on

(54:19):
his five targets in as you know, limited action, missed most of the
first half of this game early inthe third as well. Kind of surprised
that he's back in the first place. But it's good that he is,
and if somehow we can get afifty yard bomb to him. That would
be really helpful for a whole widerange of reasons. Let's mix in some
hockey while continuing to keep you postedon what is going on in this game

(54:40):
as well. Again, fresh offa Giants upset of the Packers and the
Dolphins trying to finish their job andpick up a tenth win to move atop
the AFC alongside the Baltimore Ravens,Brad Thomas joins us from NBC Sports.
Good buddy of ours, and Idon't know if he's getting any more sleep

(55:00):
with that newborn at home. Hecertainly trying. I'm sure, Brad.
How are you, Bud? I'mdoing pretty good. Yeah, the sleep
is coming. I've actually developed anew sleep pattern which is kind of funny.
Like I'm up at seven every day, which is something I can never
say before maybe I'd be up atlike nine am. But it gives me
an opportunity to kind of just gorewatch whatever I missed the night before.

(55:22):
Oh there you go. Yeah,I don't know. I don't sleep,
and it's I have three kids,but they're all they're They're not the reason
I just don't sleep. This showisn't partially the reason, I guess,
but beyond that, I'd like Istill will stay up for a couple hours
even after the show ends, justunwinding, just just soaking it all in,
dissecting my bets, going over theprocess, determining how I did.

(55:45):
Let's talk some NHL with you. We're gonna get into what we've got tomorrow
big slate obviously, and build outa people's parlay with your next segment also,
but in the small slate, thelittle activity that we had tonight,
what do you have your eye onon? I was pretty cautious about today
because tomorrow's plate's pretty basy and there'sa lot of teams finishing up road trips.

(56:07):
But I did live that the absplus plus the two and a half
there, you know, they gotoutshot. I think it was fifteen to
seven or in that second period. It was just a really bad period where
they gave up four goals and theyhad I think five or six giveaways in
that period. So like, basically, I just thought, if they cleaned

(56:29):
up even remotely, they get backon level terms at least get back to
one. At worse, they loseby two. Pretty good value there.
So I know some of the playsthat you're already on for tomorrow, we
can go through those, but onethat jumped out at me because I even
before I knew what you were on, I saw what some other people were
on getting ahead on their place fortomorrow, some of the other people in

(56:49):
the space that I pay attention to, And it seems like the Rangers' money
line is a very very popular playtomorrow. What has you obviously so convinced
Rangers take care business tomorrow. Yeah, I was trying to find a way
to play this on the Total right, Naturally, I wanted to see if
I was going to play the Totalhere, But for me, it's Wall
being out for Toronto here. Likewith Wall out, I don't think Samsong's

(57:15):
gonna play. So then they're goingto Martin Jones who was with the Crack
and what last season two point ninegoals two point nine to nine goals allowed.
It's just a bad spot for them, right. I think it's played
pretty pretty packed. What this willbe their third game in four nights against
the Raiders team who's pretty good athome nine to two at home this season,

(57:38):
and then with Chesty and between thepipes for the Rangers, I thought
it was a pretty good bounced backspot. Right, He's given up nine
goals in his last two This islike one of the best goaltenders in the
entire NHL. So have you eversee a situation like that where he's just
kind of, you know, notplaying as well as as characteristically. I

(58:00):
thought it was a good spot fora little bounce back against a team who's
gonna be tired, Like they're gonnabe super tired. Those skates are gonna
feel a little bit more heavy, and this Raiders seems no joke. I
know I probably talk about this enough, but I'm a huge Banian fan.
But it's not just paneraan like micausethe Vinajats playing really good too. So
if you have guys like Panera, who's from last season to this season has

(58:23):
been way more aggressive in terms oftrying to find shots and goals against the
elast team who gives up a tonof shots against the keeper who I'm not
too fond of, it seems likea good recipe. I didn't want to
play anything past minus one thirty, but it's something that I couldn't leave off
my card. Brad, I seeyou're back in the Panthers, to push

(58:43):
their winning streak up to four games. Tomorrow, they're visiting the Seattle Crack
and Seattle has been miserable this seasoneight fourteen and seven. They're giving up
close to four goals a game. They just put their goalie Grubauer on the
ir How comfortable are you with thePanthers tomorrow? I like the Panthers.
I was considering playing ab up tominus one and a half here on the

(59:06):
board there for that for that pucklick, yeah, I was. I
was so close taking it. Oneof my favorite things to do is is
either rewatch the interviews or go backand read the interviews. Packsaw from the
Crack and was talking about, youknow, they need to be better and
when when we when interviewed the players, like multiple players were saying things like,

(59:28):
it's not that they're not playing well, right, they're just not finding
the net. But part of winninggames, especially now in the NHL,
is scoring goals. Uh, They'rethey're actually averaging somewhere around like two point
I think it's two point five tosix goals scored per game. I guess
the Panthers team who's been pretty dirtyand luckily for the Panthers this is the

(59:52):
front side of their little road tripas opposed to the backside, which means
I'm more comfortable. Like if you'regoing to be the crack in right,
I want to use the the Penguins. That's kind of like an example.
The Penguins don't score a ton, right, They struggle to score, but
they don't give up a ton. They're not good by any means in my
opinion, but unlike the unlike thecrack and the Cranking are giving up a

(01:00:15):
ton of goals and they're only They'veonly scored set me for so far this
season. So for me with uh, with the Panthers here taking on a
pretty much beaten team, I'm gonnahave to take it. I also want
to shout out like, uh,Sam Reinhard's been playing out of his mind,
seventeen goals so far the season, twenty assists four against the Blue Jackets,

(01:00:36):
I'm gonna try to find action onhim. I don't know what They're
gonna set his assist line at probablyminus two hundred, so you have to
play in a little creative maybe assistsame game parlay with the with the Panthers
money line there, that's but youknow, we won't know those prices until
tomorrow, but that's something I'm probablygoing to look at as well. So
obviously, not every uh, notevery sharp in the space, if you

(01:01:00):
will, will follow the money. In fact, most do not, and
yet it's still interesting looking at extremes. Just as an example, the Vegas
goal of the Knights tomorrow at homeagainst the Calgary Flames. If you were
to look at Vegas on the puckline, you would see, I'm looking
at the vs and splits for theDraftings sports book, ninety seven percent of

(01:01:21):
the handle or on the puck line, eighty one percent of the money is
on Vegas. You go to theWinnipeg Jets, however, and you see
that seven percent on the puck linefor Winnipeg at San Jose, fifty one
percent on the puck line that handleand bets respectively. And here's Brent Thomas

(01:01:42):
on the puck line plus money obviouslyfor the Winnipeg Jets, where again ninety
three percent of the handle is onthis San Jose team that scores a bunch
of goals, gives up a bunchof goals. No lead is ever safe
against the San Jose Sharks. Alot of the time they find a way
to come back and win the things. What has you so convinced that Winnipeg
is not only going to win,but win by multiple scores? See?

(01:02:06):
Now, this is for me moreabout value here right, Like, no
way am I gonna lay minus twothirty on the Jets to win. I
considered taking the Jets money line andparlaying it with Edmonton the way the Oilers
have been rolling. But for me, it's actually more of a play of
how great defensively the Jets have beenas opposed to fading the Sharks, Like

(01:02:27):
we know, I think we talkedabout this the last time I was on.
It was like the start of Ithink it was the start of November
where the Sharks started playing really goodhockey on They're five to three and two
in their last ten, but theSharks are a little banged up against the
team that's gonna play really good.I hope Hallibuck is going to be in
net for the Jets. He's justbeen playing outstanding so far. He's won

(01:02:50):
seven of his last nine starts, and then six of those The last six
of those seven wins have been bytwo goals or more, with two point
four or five goals allowed per gamethere. So for me, I'm playing
I'm playing the price here. Ithink that the Jets win. I don't
want to take the Jets win inregulation. The price is not good enough.

(01:03:14):
This is a really, really goodJets team. It's funny, even
in my notes I put this notehere. It's important for me to say
this, But can I know peopleare gonna ask me if kyle' connor can't
play, but I still play thisand I still like them with him not
in the squad. I think thatyou'll see when minus come out, the
price will probably bump up closer toone twenty. So I would definitely wait.

(01:03:37):
But I'm just the poor Sharks, you know, like injuries are going
to pile up starting to pile up, and they're playing against a really good
Jets team that's gonna play really gooddefensively. So I'm gonna lose my mind
to this football game. The Titanshave actual It's like, can we rewind
the tape and just punch me inthe face the Miami Titans or Miami Titans.

(01:04:00):
Titans are playing like they're the hometeam. The Tennessee Titans have just
scored to You would assume take alead in this game. The extra point
is pending, but it's twenty sevenall Miami will get the ball back with
a minute forty nine to go andtimeouts still to use. We are obviously
past the two minute warning, butthis is now an uphill battle for the

(01:04:24):
heavily heavily favored Miami Dolphins, whoare going to have to at the very
least get in the field goal rangeto go up again in this game.
Late. Maybe we'll see some heroicslike we did from the hometown Giants obviously
and upsetting the Packers, but theTitans, who looked dead and buried after
miscues in their own end twice allowingtwo quick touchdowns by Miami, no favors

(01:04:46):
to the Dolphins this time. TheDolphins are gonna have to do it themselves
and go to the length of thefield. We will keep your post to
let you know what happens. BradThomas here with us Talk and Hockey.
We'll build out a people's parlay whenwe come back as well. Dolphins driving
not quite at midfield again, needto get the field goal range to beat
the Titans, or at least havethe opportunity to beat the Titans. Now

(01:05:09):
down twenty eight to twenty seven aminute and change to go. In this
one, there was a little bitof a delay in determining whether Deeram smythe
caught a ball that whether he trappedit, or whether he actually caught it.
And sure enough the ruling is itwas a completed catch got him to
third and three. Now they havefourth and two after a one yard catch,

(01:05:31):
and so the game on the linehere for Miami on this fourth and
two play, needing a first downobviously to extend their contest. Otherwise an
incredible upset win by the Titans tosink so many bets if that ends up
happening. So let's go Miami hereand down goes to a stop it again.

(01:05:54):
Yep, Mike Frable, the underdogshould have known, should sacked?
Sacked for a three yard loss.Oh my god. Yeah, that's tough.
That is tough. But uh,that's good for the Patriots though,
because these two four win teams tonightwins getting wins and the Giants. The

(01:06:14):
Giants are now only one game outof a playoff spot. By the way,
Adam, if you refresh the NFCstandings, it's unbelievable. The parody
in this league, in the NFCanyway, at the just all around,
AFC is pretty top heavy. Butwell, I mean one through twelve or
teams that all can make the playoffs. Yeah, I cannot believe Tennessee won

(01:06:36):
that game. Well it happens twotouchdowns in the fourth quarter. Yeah,
all right, all right, wellwe'll get back to this. I'm gonna
lose my mind. Brad Thomas ishere from NBC Sports. Oh God,
I'm so upset right now. Allright, Uh, let's we're going to

(01:06:57):
build out eight people's parlay here momentarily. But Brad, we covered a lot
of spots obviously, you like intomorrow's slate on the ice, anything else
among the games that we haven't talkedabout that jumps out at you that you
have your eye on for tomorrow. For over six and a half goals Hurricanes
at Senators, I think I betthe over Last time it was six goals

(01:07:21):
last two times. Last time thesetwo teams played, they've finished with eight
goals in that game, with anastounding seventy two shots on goal in that
game. Over the last ten thecenters have been scoring a ton. Obviously,
we know the Hurricanes are great atscoring and giving up a ton of

(01:07:42):
of goals. Here, both teamsare on the plus side in terms of
hitting towards the over. But whatI really like about betting the over in
this is both teams shoot a ton, both top ten in shots taken per
game, the centers averaging three pointthirty three point four to nine, which
is eight, and then the Hurricanesare third in most shocks. So you

(01:08:04):
see a ton of pucks on net. We just need them to kind of
fall through the back. All right, let's get into actually before the people's
part. Let me let me askyou one more again, just in terms
of totals. Ah, let's seeyou mentioned obviously, so this we were

(01:08:26):
just talking about, let me see, coyotes and penguins. Over six and
a half jumps out as far asjust again tracking where a lot of the
money is going right now, eightysix percent of the handle, sixty five
percent of the bets in that conteston the over six and a half.
How do we feel about this onein terms of producing a lot of goals?
Oh wow, this one's a toughone, right because I don't think

(01:08:49):
people are going to realize how impactfulBrian Rush not playing for the Penguin is
gonna be I probably bet the under. I can trader in here and take
the under. I would probably takeit. I'd be more excited if it
was plus money, but it's minusround one twenty. But then when I

(01:09:10):
think about it, like this isa bit right spot for the Penguins,
even without Brian Rust, they needto start doing something. I believe they're
like four and six in their lastten. That's total off top of my
head. But they are not playinggood hockey right now. They allow what
they had the third fewest goals sofar this season. They just look clunky,

(01:09:30):
not not a well put together squad. And they had the run where
I think I came on the showand I called them the hottest team in
hockey, and then since then they'vekind of let me down. I'll probably
take the under in that I couldn'trightfully put money on the Penguins to win,
But then I don't want to betthe yolks even though it's plus one
sixty. I'll give you one morebefore we do the parlay here quickly,

(01:09:53):
Edmonton is what rattled off like sevenor eight wins in a row. Now
they are scoring at will. Nowthey get Chicago tomorrow night at home.
Are you looking, Are you thinkingabout any Edmonton player props or anything?
Or is everything just gonna be sojuice that it's just just stay away?
If wait, so, if youhave a team, so their team total

(01:10:14):
is over three and a half andthat's minus two fifty, you know the
player props are gonna be out ofthis world. I just can't wait.
I'm probably gonna stay away. LikeI even like before earlier today when I
was trying to build out some samegame parlays in this game, I couldn't
believe the pricing, like there wasnothing that I wanted. I do think
I do see some buyback on thepuff line here. It got as high

(01:10:36):
as minus one sixty six. There'ssome buyback bringing it down to minus one
sixty. But you guys know, you guys have been doing this long enough.
You don't play puff lines at minusone sixty like maybe minus one twenty
mags. Like that's like even gettinga little scary there. All right,
let's build out the people's parlay foranyone that does not know how this works

(01:10:58):
and still has the car efidence tofollow us with the way things have gone
tonight, Oh good, God.Brad is going to offer a leg.
Dan will offer a leg. Iwill offer a leg. Brad is mandated
by show law to play it alongwith us, and hopefully we can cash.
That would certainly be nice where Iknow there's no such thing as being
due in the gambling space, butman, we had some tough breaks tonight,

(01:11:19):
that's for damn sure. So wewill tell you the best place,
obviously to play this parlay doesn't haveto be hockey, by the way.
I'm sure Brad's leg will be,but it can be whatever you want.
Just a favorite play on the boardas it currently exists on Tuesday. But
Brad, you being the guest, start us off. What is your favorite
play for the slate? My favoriteplay is going to be over six and

(01:11:43):
a half goals Hurricanes for Senators oversix and a half Hurricanes and Senators.
All right, beautiful and Dan,all right, I'm taking us to college
basketball. I am going to takeDuke laying the fifteen and a half points
here. The Doukies they lost backto back games last week andst Arkansas and
Georgia Tech. They got right overthe weekend. They beat Charlotte by twenty

(01:12:05):
four. Now they have one gameuntil next What is it next Wednesday night?
And it's against Hofstra at home,Cameron Indoor. No reason to look
ahead. You got one game herethese guys. Duke needs to keep building
some momentum here ahead of the bigmatch up against Baylor next week. So
I expect Duke to roll tomorrow nightand just crush Hastra. So Duke minus

(01:12:27):
fifteen and a half, All right, I'm just building this thing out as
we go as well. I knowthat Brian is He's got like seven or
eight different sports books up in frontof him to do the same thing.
So I'm going to go back tothe very first game that we talked about
with Brad, and that was theNew York Rangers at home, Yeah,
against the Toronto Maple Leafs. I'mnot going to be so bold as to

(01:12:49):
go with the puck line or somethinglike that. And I realize obviously that
the number is not what it oncewas. For instance, I'd have to
look and see real quick if thereare any minus one thirties still out there
on this game. I kind ofdoubt it. I'm just looking in the
action app where we tend to postthese picks, and let's see the Rangers.

(01:13:11):
ESPN took it down. I'm seeingFanDuel as minus one thirty seven,
which looks to be the best placethat you can get that specific leg.
We always tell you to play thestraits, but hey, listen in part
to you know all the reasons thatwe already talked about. Obviously with Brad,
he outlined it very well. Buton top of that, I just
I always appreciate confirmation bias. Whenwhen I see a whole bunch of people

(01:13:33):
and I can count three or fourthat I have kept an eye on throughout
the day today, all on thesame play, I am inclined to at
least trust that the read is good. There's no guarantee the bet plays out.
That never is, but at leastobviously there's a consensus in the read
and it looks like FanDuel has plusfive seventeen? Is that correct? Five

(01:13:54):
nineteen? Five nineteen? Pray evenbetter? So five nineteen on that play
again, the New York Rangers onthe money line, Duke covering the spread
in its college basketball game against Hofstra, and of course the other hockey play
over six and a half goals betweenthe Senators and Hurricanes. Brad, thanks

(01:14:15):
so much. Man, let's tryand make some money tomorrow. Absolutely,
I'm gonna lock that parlay. Andthanks for having me, guys. Absolutely,
I always appreciate it, and I'mgonna do the same during the break
when we come back, I'm gonnaweep a little bit in the corner and
then we will put this show tobed. Now it's time to put this
show to bed with my pillow.Put this show to bed. How are

(01:14:43):
I supposed to sleep tonight after whatjust happened? I mean, I don't
know about props. Hopefully things wentokay in the prop market obviously outside of
Tyreek Hill. And I'm not reallygonna know how my day shoved down until
I review all the bedslips after thisshow. But I know for certain that
I lost some up on that Dolphinsgame with Miami. Not never mind I
didn't even have him to cover bytwo touchdowns, and forget even not covering

(01:15:08):
the six and a half which Ineeded. They didn't win. The Dolphins
didn't win after I and who's laughingnow, Mike Vrabel after I like couldn't
have been meaner to Tennessee after it'ssecond mistake leading to a second quick touchdown
by Raheem Mostert down multiple scores, multiple touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the

(01:15:34):
Tennessee Titans take care of Miami inSouth Beach. I mean, this is
yet another example, Dan, It'sa much larger conversation, maybe one that
we open up tomorrow's show with andwe can look at, you know,
up up to date odds across theNFL Super Bowl odds. Maybe I looked
earlier. I couldn't find conference winnerrods. But obviously we can just you

(01:15:57):
know, look at the Super Bowlodds and out the NFC and isolate the
AFC. But this is yet anotherexample, whether it was Detroit losing this
weekend Kansas City, albeit in atougher matchup against Buffalo, this game for
Miami against the lousy, absolutely lowsyTennessee Titans, who had not won a

(01:16:18):
game on the road all year, had been zero to six the Jaguars,
even though I was on the Clevelandside, and the Browns are not bad.
Obviously they're good. They're eight andfive. But still people talk more
highly, speak more highly of theJaguars with Trevor Lawrence, and they certainly
do with Joe Flacco off the couchand the Cleveland Browns, which more credit

(01:16:40):
to that defense, but the Jaguarslosing to Cleveland. The Texans, despite
all the injuries obviously and cdre Stroudeven went down. They lose in the
meadowlands, where the Packers suffered defeattonight to the Giants. The Texans fault
to the Jets. The Ravens almostlost to the Rams, frankly probably should

(01:17:00):
have. This is just yet anotherexample of how incredibly wide open dan the
AFC is. There is not asingle team, not one that I trust,
no, not at all. AndI thought there was some very scared
play calling from Mike McDaniel here inthe last five minutes of this game after
they went up by two scores, they had the ball again, ended up

(01:17:21):
punting, and it ended up lettingTennessee come right back into the game.
Very uncharacteristic from McDaniel, who usuallylikes to, you know, put his
nuts on the table, and hedidn't tonight for some reason. Could end
up costing Miami because now Buffalo isright on there behind here as we move
on in this season. My god, I just I'm going to spend a

(01:17:45):
while tonight just trying to process that. And it screwed up the group ladder
challenge. Four legs were in.It all came down to me. I
was the last one. I wentwith the Dolphins on the money line and
screwed it up. That should havebeen as free a free square as we
had in the entire grouping. Mygoodness. All right, Well, tomorrow

(01:18:05):
we will do more. Obviously,we'll you know, continue the NFL conversation.
We'll we'll mix in some basketball, some hockey, We'll track our bets,
We'll do all of all of whatwe normally do as we inch closer
to previewing a full and irregular footballweekend with three games on Saturday, and
obviously much more in the way ofcollege football, full Sea weekend Bowl season.

(01:18:29):
Yeah, getting underway. That'll befun. We'll have some games to
preview there. Thanks to prop betGuy, to Dave Sheripan, most recently
Brad Thomas. Of course Brian boughton the board, Dan Watkins. I
am Adam Kaufman. I hope yourbets went better than our shows did tonight,
and hopefully tomorrow is a better dayfor everybody involved. We will talk
to you again. Then check outthe podcast The Gambler with Adam Kaufman.
