Kobe can go to the safety alongside with Kevon Wallace.

But to your point, Julian Love has played every position

in the secondary, and that's a good idea because he
has experience in nickel. I think either way, Witherspoon's gonna
have to stay outside. If you put Witherspoon in nickel,
then who's going to be your corner? Dee Williams and
Niamiah Pritchett. I mean you might as well just put
red flags and sirens onto up both those guys' helmets
and say throw at me.

that's going to help big time. I was looking back
at some of the plays against the Niners. Rob Pritty

we're doing some things very well across the league, and

so I think it was helpful just to know that,

do our stuff good.

Seeking out opportunities to great turnovers, and offensively obviously just
protect the ball and as plus teams and so that's
kind of just overall thing.

We have to be better in that plus minus turn

Turnover battle with how much of it is getting teams
and that's the situation.

A lot, you'd be surprised, a lot.

so it's like those numbers could be better, but there's
a more concerted effort.

It's just it feels like it's been a while since
we had a regular schedule. For sure, the football day
is this it's a long day, and so it feels good.

Julian goes into the slot and now Spoon can be outside,
Kobe can go to the safety alongside with Kevon Wallace.
Is that a possibility because that that might be what they.

He was more of a defensive back in college. He

But to your point, Julian Love has played every position

in the secondary, and that's a good idea because he
has experience in nickel. I think either way, Witherspoon's gonna
have to stay outside. If you put Witherspoon in nickel,
then who's going to be your corner? Dee Williams and
Niamiah Pritchett. I mean you might as well just put
red flags and sirens onto up both those guys' helmets
and say throw at me.

God dang it, stop the run and pass rush. Yeah, rus,
that's going to help big time. I was looking back
at some of the plays against the Niners. Rob Pritty
was pressured fifteen times, but boy did he escape all
those pressures.

happen more then for defense, you know, once you get
that one, they come in bunches, and so he's gotta
kind of.

Be adamant by attacking the ball, actively.

Seeking out opportunities to great turnovers, and offensively obviously just
protect the ball and as plus teams and so that's
kind of just overall thing.

We have to be better in that plus minus turn
in the.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Turnover battle with how much of it is getting teams
and that's the situation.

A lot, you'd be surprised, a lot.

A lot of is getting you know, quarterback, quarterbacks on
their heels, a lot of the situational stuff, a lot
when people are straining or pressing to make do things offensively, as.

When you see a lot of those floated balls.

And half the battle is being intentional in practice, having excitement,
celebrating picks and practice forcing fumbles and all that stuff.

And you know, honestly, we had some fumbles to pass a.

Bunch of games that just didn't bus our way, and
so it's like those numbers could be better, but there's
a more concerted effort.

How much can just get back in pads and the
normal schedule help you, guys, it's good it feels like
it's been a minute coming off that Monday night game.
It's just it feels like it's been a while since
we had a regular schedule. For sure, the football day
is this it's a long day, and so it feels good.

Having this weekend was good to kind of hang out
with the family, kind of do compressed and then yeah,
this week just kind of all eyes forward and just attack.

Demeanor been like, because you guys have this rough patching
this season, It's been good.

I think it keeps a great perspective.

On kind of where we're at, understanding that man, like
a few of these moments for these games were like
a few things, a few situations that we didn't execute
on and that was put us from this place. But
I think he just attacked today by keeping it black
and white on angry guy and also like it's easy,
I thing to come in and just kind of mf
everybody pretty much, but he just he tries to see
put the perspective and just provides.

How much were you in your guys, your teammates looking
at him and how he might react and curious about
all of us.

Yeah, I mean, you know, it's the first time had killaches.
You're trying to feel him out. I think, guys, we're
kind of waiting for you know, I've seen a ton
of times where you know, you lose a game and
when everybody is walking on night shells, and I think
he's just trying to provide an environment that's not that,
and he isn't throw around the accountable where he thinks
that's kind of a cop out. He thinks of kind
of just his big thing has been Listen, we're doing

we have to do what we said we're gonna do
on defense. Situationally, if we have to be the sticks,
we had to be the sticks offensively a bit to
protect the ball.

We protect the ball.

It's just kind of playing within our pillars of a team,
and there's areas that we're exceeding that and then some
there's some areas that we're not. And I think that's
kind of his entire gist is like, listen, these are
our pillars. We have to If we go by these.

Things, you win games. And it's all about process over
kind of the result.

That's Pro Bowl safety. Julian Love and as Chris just
brought up. You could put him in nickel, you can
move him around the secondary, because he's played every position
in the NFL with the Giants, he's been a back safety,
strong safety, in middle of the fields safety, and too
deep since he came to the Seahawks before last season.
But they've got some questions here. I don't see Woolan planning.

They're going to bring out the about one fifteen one
o'clock today, they'll have the injury report, doubtful's, questionables and outs.
I'm expecting Wolan to be a doubtful at best, and
Trey Brown perhaps as well. And so we'll see if
near my preaches starts. Kirk Cousins is going there and
they'll throw da You're right, Drake London does a lot
of his stuff over the middle. He's a slot guy.

They're gonna find where pritch it is and send London
to him. And that's a challenge for the pass rush
and for Mike McDonald's coverage schemes to cover for that.

Atlanta on Sunday. My Seahawks stud prediction is DK Metcalf.
Atlanta we talked about has the worst pass rush in

the league. They have the allowed the highest completion percentage
by opposing quarterbacks in the NFL. If there's a game
that's Brian Greb's game, playing deep shots down the field
against Cover three, which Atlanta runs forty two percent of
the time, Single high safety, Single high safety is what
Ryan Gribb lives for to put a safety in an

in a quandary of trying to decide who am I
taking this crosser in front of me? This outside route
is breaking deep on me, this tight end is running
down the scene. Holy hell, who am I gonna go cover?
If this is a huge iff. Of course, the Seahawks
offensive line gives Geno Smith time. DK Metcalf is going
to have a ten catch, one hundred and fifty yard
and two touchdown day. That's my prediction, and they're gonna

need every one of those yards and scores to beat
Atlanta with the defense the way it is. IM prediction
is dk Metcalf four nine four one to telemort New

the game is. Chris is right. They're gonna need studs
on the defensive front to at least slow downs Atlanta's

their DB's are gonna be able to hang out with
what the Atlanta fagraph are doing passing this season. They
got some talented guys Seahawks are banged up everywhere, So
can they get a few stops here and there?

I would say so. But and when they do get stops,
that means that's when the offense has to score. Oh yeah,
we saw it in the forty nine Ers game. There
were chances for the Seahawks to grab the lead or
get close to tie after a few stops in the
second half of the defense, and they didn't. Dophins didn't
do it. We've seen that in three game losing streak.
It's not like the defense is giving it up every
single time. So when they don't, you gotta score. You

gotta take advantage of that. I think Seattle's going to
do that more times than not on Sunday against this
Atlanta defense indoors in a dome, white uniforms. Geno Smith
has just killed teams think Saints in the Supernome Detroit Lions.
The last three seasons, he's had his best games of
his career and those conditions and those conditions are going
to be the same on Sunday in Atlanta inside the
