Speaker 1 (00:00):
Seven goals in Nashville six goals last night. They like
the air coriol of hockey right now, the old San
Diego Chargers, Dan Fouts, West Chandler.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Actually, Lakers showtime?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Would you do Lakers Showtime the week that Michael Cooper's
been inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Very fair point there you go. Put it one and
one together.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yeah, So we'll talk about the crack and we'll talk
about one of the best baseball games you will ever see.
I know you're not a huge baseball and TV guy,
but did you watch that? I saw the highlights? Ooh,
it was crazy watching it. I had family members. I
still have family in Northeast Ohio and they were at
the game yesterday. My brother in law was at the game,
and man, did he get a treat. We'll talk about

(00:39):
one of the base bas besketball baseball games ever Cleveland
getting back into the American League Championship Series against the
Yankees at ten thirty year and a here from Jullian Love,
the Pro Bowl safety for the Seahawks, on the team
meeting Mike McDonald had with the team. I guess the
team meeting would be with the team who's also gonna
be with he had it on Monday, and he's also
loves going to talk about the defense, his issues they're

(01:00):
facing for Atlanta and beyond. At eleven am, we're going
to talk to d Orlando Ledbetter. He's the Falcons beat
writer we talked to in the summer when we did
our preview of all the series the opponents the Seahawks
have this year. D Landa Ledbetter a long time an
award winning Falcons beat writer for the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
We'll talk about the Atlanta side of Sunday's matchup at
eleven am on the Beacon Plumbing Hotline and in Factor

(01:22):
of Fiction, of course, the final one for us this
week eleven thirty five am. We do that every day
one thousand dollars. Your chance to win that this week
from the Emerald Queen Casino, the betting capital of the Northwest,
where he'd back your text at eleven thirty on the
Telemorde Text Signments. Game time, It's Tully time. At eleven
thirty oven forty five, the Infronescil join us off his

(01:43):
hosting of the Kraken pre postgame intermissions on television last night.
You'll have a lot to say about your hockey team.
That'll be eleven forty five before his show's from twelve
to three, Dave Softy Maller and Dick Fane of course
from three to seven. Soft He's not headed off to
Iowa City or anywhere this week because the Huskies are
gonna buy lots to talk about in the Football Friday

(02:05):
Washington State Beef Commissions Football Friday Headlines brought to you
by Frostburwy Corseline choose chill. One game after scoring seven
goals at Nashville, the Kraken scored six last night beat
the Philadelphia Flyers six ' three to start their five
game homestand seven different players scored in Nashville on Tuesday.

(02:25):
Six different skaters scored last night against the Flyers.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Back to Evans and his own zone, Rick the rivets
up to Gordon Kis's the cannon front sut, it's the Captain,
Jordan every and the crackt hop.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
By two four two two sixteen.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Left in the second and now they're back in same
live off the in sewn face off everly so right
in the highs Seattle.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Five two, Yeah, there were five to two, and then
Philadelphia made a charge there made a five to three
in the game got interesting and then Seattle puts them away.
Crackinger three and two. It was ever fitch you of
course last night on here on ninety three point three KJRFM,
the Washington state broadcaster of the year, as he's with
every game here on ninety three point three KJFM as

(03:24):
a man. Crackler three and two. That's their best record
by far. After five games. Every other season, Chris, up
to now, they've been one and four Techriley. Last year
they were one win, two losses, and two overtime losses,
which gives them a point in hockey if you don't know,
if you go to overtime, you earn a point. Whether
you win or lose, you get an overtime loss point
in the standings two points for a win, one for

(03:45):
an overtime loss. But last year, essentially they were one
and four. The first two seasons they were one and four,
and now they're three and two, scoring thirteen goals in
their last two games. They scored four goals through overtime
in nash in Minnesota last Saturday to begin their road trip.
They got shut out in Dallas to nothing, and other

(04:08):
than that they're scoring goals, and that is what Dan
Bousman is here to do, to open up the team
and make it more free wheeling. We talked to Ron Francis,
the general manager of the Cracking, on opening day from
Climate Pledgerina. That's what he told us. We wanted a
more wide open style and expect more scoring, and they're
getting it tomorrow the Kraken six point thirty pre game
show here I'm with Mike Benton seven pm pucked up

(04:31):
against Calgary, Everet Fitschhue and now Kaminski on the call
again here on ninety three point three KJRFM for the
Rolling Kracking. Seahawks got starting Anthony Bradford. Starting guard Anthony
Bradford brack to practice yesterday. He missed that on Wednesday,
but Cornerbacksriquelling and Trey Brown remained out with ankle injuries.
Ardi Burns of course, went on injured reserve earlier this week,

(04:52):
so they're down to their Plan D corner. Now. It's
like you're going to be fifth round draft pick me
am I A Pritchett starting because they don't have anybody
else that'll have a trickle down effect on Devin Witherspoon
that'll have a trickle down effect on how much Mike
McDonald can use or wants to use Nickel Sunday and Atlanta.
We'll talk about that in a minute. Right tackle Stone

(05:12):
Foresight did not practice again yesterday. I can hear some
of you cheering from your cars or offices right now.
He has a hand injury. You know, he's the third
string right tackle. Abe Lucas, who knows when he's coming
back from that knee surgery he had in the Winner.
He still hasn't been on a field since January. Mike
McDonald's given no time table on Lucas when he might
come back. George Fant was supposed to be starting. He

(05:35):
only lasted thirteen games and he went on injury reserve
with the knee issue. McDonald said fans progressing, but no
estimate when he'll be back. Suffice to say there are
some issues on the right tackle position right now for Seattle.

(05:55):
If Foresight doesn't play, it could be Jason Peters, forty
two year old. You're shaking your Chris.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I don't know what he can do.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
He's just they're asking a lot of him right now
and he hasn't played a snap and I don't know
how long, but at this point the Seahawks are desperate.
Stone Forsythe is doing the best he can, but unfortunately,
when you're a third string, it's there's not He can
only do his best and it's still not good enough.
That's why there is first dring second string. So yeah,

(06:23):
it's it's a tough position he's in. But at this point,
if stone Forsythe is not available on Sunday, then I
guess Jason Peters will be playing or Mike Girell.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
The rookie Division two Finley six round pick. This coaches
speak very highly of him, but so far they've been
reluctant to put him. And they signed Peters October first,
forty two years old. He's on the practice squad. When
he got here, I asked him. He and I had
a rapport last year when he was here, so I
asked him as he was walking to a team meeting
today he signed how much How much time do you

(06:55):
need this time? Last time you needed three weeks? He said, oh,
I need a couple weeks. He hasn't to answer a
question because he hasn't been on a field since in
eleven months. We'll not quite eleven months. Ten months. It
was the end of December, oh ahead and round up,
round exactly. So he said he needed two weeks. Now
he's been here sixteen days. So I asked Mike McDonald
this week, is Peter's ready to play? And he said

(07:16):
McDonald said, yeah, physically, he's ready to go. So if
Foresighte can't go, they're going to choose between Mike Durell
or Jason Peters. And judging how Jason Peters, even though
he's forty two, is a former All Pro and Super
Bowl champion versus a rookie in his first NFL study,
I bet they'd go Peters. So I think tomorrow at
this time, around one pm is when they have to
activate elevate their practice squad players to be eligible to

(07:38):
play Sunday. I think this time tomorrow you're gonna get
a word from the Seahawks and then I'll put it
out at the News Tribune dot Com that Jason Peters
has been elevated from the practice squad to play on Sunday.
That is, if Stone forsythe can't play. He's got a
big rap and protective cover in his left hand. He
doesn't look great to play. He isn't practiced all week.

(08:00):
The Saints. Man, remember everyone's talking about the Saint. No
one can stop the Saints. They're scoring forty points a game.
When they were two and zero, they went down to
Dallas and just steamrolled the Cowboys. They were losing thirty
three to three. Last night at home to bow Knicks
and the Broncos, they end up losing thirty three. Ten
New Orleans lost five in a row. Now two and
five and the Broncos are four and three. Did you

(08:22):
think when you saw the Broncos here in Seattle to
THEA it was gonna be a Feign three team?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Absolutely not, no way, no way.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
But just as quickly as you've seen the Saints fall apart,
the Broncos good too, but there's no Their defense is
really good. Their defense is good. Bow Knicks is playing
within Sean Payton's scheme and they're effective. So if they
can do what they want to do offensively and defensively,
they could possibly get seven eight wins this year, maybe
even more.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Bow Knicks was sixteen for twenty six passing for one
hundred and sixty four yards, So twenty six attempts one
hundred and sixty four yards and that's actually a lot
for him this season. Ten yards completion but no turnovers again,
and that's how you're gonna win. Williams the running back
eighty eight yards and two touchdowns for Denver. Spencer Rattler

(09:09):
I keep every time I hear Spencer Ratler's name, I
think of all the Seahawks fans who said, draft Spencer Rattler,
Draft Spencer Ratler. He's the rookie. Started last night twenty
five with thirty five for the Saints, hundred and seventy
two yards. Dam was sacked six times. Twenty five completions
one hundred and seventy two yards. That's like what eight
yards of completion and he got sacks six times. Saints lose.

(09:32):
I mean that was ugly. Their dude's wearing bags over
their heads and the Saints again like it's the eighties again.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Yeah, that sucks when you you lose your one of
your top receivers in Rashid Shaheed and then your quarterback's down.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
So but that's football.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
We got it.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
The quote unquote who's up next? You had to play?
So they're in a tough situation. Can they get out
of this rut? We don't see they've lost five straight.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Five straight. Man Richard Sherman, on the broadcast with Amazon
last night, said it looked like the Saints are trying
to get playing, like they want to get their coach five.
Dennis Allen, Yeah, that's not good. Our NFL broadcast lineup
on Sundays Patriots at Jaguars from London at six to
fifteen AM.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Man, poop fest.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
You'd have to pay people to watch that game, especially
at six fifteen in the morning. Oh my god, imagine
being so into whatever you're into, fantasy betting, anything to
get Hey, honey, I gotta get up at six fifteen
to watch Patriots and Jaguars. Oh, go buy a dog,
get a paint a house, do something. Raiders at Rams
one pm. Jets at Steelers a Sunday night game five

(10:32):
twenty Russell Wilson's going to make his first Pittsburgh start.
It appears on Sunday night for Jets at Steelers. That'll
be right here on ninety three point three KJRFIM at
five to twenty pm. Major League Baseball players playoffs last
night produced the best game I've watched in a long time.
Cleveland led the Yankees three to one in the eighth inning,
of their must win Game three America League Championship Series.

(10:52):
Then this happened one two Here it comes Judge line
drive right field, hit well, up it out Judge has Howard.
The game is tied at three. Incredible Aaron Judge in

(11:13):
the clutch. Okay, so that ties it. This is Emmanuel Cosse,
the unhittable, best closer in the game. Then this happened
right after that, hey home run to carry Carpenter. That
bass hit well deep center field, way back there, Tom
Carlos Stenton a hole run. Judge and Sten go back

(11:38):
to back and the New York Yankees have grabbed the lead.
Brian Anderson, who's been fabulous on the call for TNT
Sports on the call. There. Yankees and two pitches go
from three to one, down and two outs in the
eighth to up four to three. They add a run
in the top of the ninth to go up five
to three. The Indians are down. The Indian Sorry, I'm

(12:01):
Northeast Ohio guy. I'll always be the Indians. The Guardians
are down now five to three, two outs, bottom of
the ninth. If they lose this game, the season's over.
They're down three to zero in the series. To the
Mighty Yankees. Two outs, pinch hitting, down five to three,
this happened. Oh, oh my goodness, Big Christmas last tied it.

(12:25):
They all come in present under the tree.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Oh my goodness, John chen Ze Noel.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
The biggest swing of his life. That was a I
got up off my couch. I was writing a Seahawks
story and screamed. When Noel hit the Big Christmas they
call him and they have people wearing Santa hats behind
the dugout in Cleveland, and he hits that home and
that ball almost hit the arena on James Built next

(13:01):
door to Progressive Field. That in the bottom of the
tenth game tide. This is what happened. But in Game three,
fry deep dried left field.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
Cries watching it is hey walk off home run.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
David Rye lights up.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
To Cleveland night.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Unbelievable. Indians go from season basin. Guardians go from basically
season over to now two to one down in the
series Game four tonight in Cleveland. That's that's good stuff.
If you love baseball up the middle opposite, I tell
my guys, like coaching high school baseball up the middle opposite.
That's all I say to him. Coach, how you doing
up the middle opposite? Up the middle opposite? I want

(13:46):
to take that approach and thinking both home runs by
Stanton and Aaron Judge up the middle opposite field. I
know they're Popeye strong, but still the Nation League Championshies
is like an afterthought compared to that. Dodger just smacked
the Mets around yesterday ten to two. They lead that
best to seven series three to one. All three Los
Angeles wins have been released by eight runs. The Dodgers

(14:08):
have outscored New York thirty to nine. They can win
the series tonight in Game five and Queen WNBA Finals
Game four tonight in Minnesota. The New York Liberty need
one win in the final two games to clinch the
league title. Washing The Huskies, of course, are on the
bye week. The next play eight days from now at
sixteenth rank Indiana. Here on your home for the Huskies
ninety three point three KGRFM. Since we don't have Huskies

(14:29):
football tomorrow, we got South Carolina at Oklahoma nine am.
Here on ninety three point three KJRFM. The five on
Washington State Cougar's host Hawaii Saturday twelve thirty. Martin Stadium
and Pullman on CWTV, and the Army team The Pride
and Dream, Every Heart and Gray six and OH hosts
East Carolina nine am at West Point on ESPN two.
Navy's hosting Charlotte tomorrow. Davy's five and OH for the

(14:51):
first time since nineteen sixty, number twenty three Army and
number twenty three Navy are ranked at the same time.
What's remarkable about this, Chris, is remember there's no NIO
money at service academies.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
Now.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
You can transfer out, but you're not going to gain
any transfers in because if you transfer into a service academy,
you start back as a freshman. You got to go
four years, and there's no college football players. It's a
reserve at Oklahoma. I want to go to a service
academy and go back to being a pleabe, So that
doesn't happen either. That's what makes Army and Navy seasons

(15:24):
even more remarkable. No NAO and really no transfer portal.
Saunders finished the regular season with the playoff tune up
match tomorrow night against the dreaded Portland Timbers at the
Stadium and SOTO five thirty pregame show with Jackson Feld
six pm kickoff on nine to fifty k AM because
the cracking will be on FM and this weekend the
world's largest three day rowing competition, the Head of the

(15:44):
Charles in Boston, eleven thousand rowers attracting four hundred thousand spectators.
Chris half a million people go to watch this. That's
today through Sunday along the Charles River in Boston and Cambridge,
mass Second Class cadet Sarah bell I was going to
row in the two seats for the United States Coast
Guard Academy's second Varsity eighth shell on Sunday afternoon. My

(16:05):
wife Wendy will be there, my brother in law, my
mother in law. Damn proud of that, second time in
three years. My daughter's got the race at the Head
of the Charles, one of the most famous boat races
of them all. Meanwhile, I'll be in a press box
in Atlanta. Well she's rowing down the Charles River.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Oh, well, you both are working.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
I love my job.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
I do.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
I absolutely my job. It's like a little boy's job
getting fly around the country and see football games. But
some days I love it less than others. And Sunday's
going to be probably one of those.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Days, you'll be all right, I have wifey FaceTime yet some.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Day, yeah, I'll be the phone will be right there
in the press box. I'll be watching the live stream of.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
You got plenty of guys. Hey, what happened there there?
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Was that another touchdown down the middle? Drake?

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Oh my goodness, don't don't put that juju in the air.
We might have a lot of people yelling at you
on the text line four.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Nine, and tell them we're do text line when it's
game time. It's Tully too. How you feel about Sunday?
This is a patch work secondary. They're gonna be going
up against we come back. We're gonna talk about the
Seahawks secondary what the options are because of injuries. They're
down to their fourth string corner on one side. It's
not looking great for how they might want to do

(17:12):
Devin Witherspoon and Nickel. I don't see Chris how they
can put Witherspoon and Nickel. They're gonna have to keep
him outside at the corner. We'll talk about that next
eleven o'clock. Dear Orlando Ledbetter is gonna talk to us
about the Atlanta side of this matchup. The Falcons beat
writer for the Atlanta Journal Constitution eleven thirty five Factor
Fix your chance to win one thousand dollars from the
Emerald Queen Casino on a Washington State Beef Commissions Football Friday.

(17:35):
You're on ninety three point three kJ r FM. Welcome
back the Greg Bell Show with christopherguind rolls on here
on ninety three point three KJFM and a Washington State
Beef Commission's Football Friday. Washington State Beef Commissions Football Friday.

(17:56):
Football Fridays with the Washington State Beef Commission, brought to
you by Washington's beef farmers and ranchers Beef. It's what's
for dinner. Unless you're my wife. We talked about that.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
She does not appreciate that shot you just threw at her,
but she still loves you. But man, she said, when
she heard me, she was home last week sick and
she heard me talk about the vegetarian and the turferky
and all that, she said, I'd bet the Washington State
Beef Commission didn't appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Tofurky dialogue.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Probably, you know what, we don't have to bring that up.
It's okay.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
I think we're okay, all right, So here's the deal
on the secondary for the Seahawks. They have Requeling with
a sprained ankle that looks not good. He hasn't practiced
all week. If I had someone had to make me
bet right now, I would say he's not playing Sunday.
Trey Brown hasn't practice all week with another ankle injury.
Ardie Burns, who they brought up from the practice squad
signment to the active roster for the forty nine ers game,

(18:50):
he got hurt, foot injury and uninjured reserve. Now you're
down to the four string ni Amiah Pritchett, fifth round
pick from Auburn Chris it looks like he has to start.
And with the where they are in the depth chart,
Devin Witherston's gonna have to start at the other outside corner.

(19:11):
I don't see him going nickel with Witherspoon and Sackers.
Who are you going to bring in to be the
outside corner?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Uh, that's the biggest question right now. Do you think
the Seahawks think Neamiyah showed enough on Thursday night against
the Niners that they could trust him out there or
is that too much a risk? You think just based
off the opponent with the Niners. What the Falcons are
trying to do? As mentioned, I don't know if I

(19:37):
mentioned this yet, but Drake London thirty nine percent of
his snaps come in the slot, right, So that is
going to be a big chess move if you end
up putting Devin Witherspoon outside and shuffling it up. Maybe
how about this. Julian Love play a lot of nickel
back when he was with the Giants. He's also played
cornerback with the Giants. Do you see a possibility where

(20:00):
Julian goes into the slot and now Spoon can be outside,
Kobe can go to the safety alongside with Kevon Wallace.
Is that a possibility because that that might be what they.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Have to do. Yeah, that is a possibility. I mean
we're talking Dee Williams at corner.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Has he played a snap?

Speaker 1 (20:22):
I mean preseason practices, in preseason game, but he was
a wide receiver when the season hit, they converted him.
He was more of a defensive back in college. He
was a junior college defensive well back All American, but
he was They thought he was going to be a
wide receiver. And of course now he's the rookie kick returner.
But to your point, Julian Love has played every position

(20:42):
in the secondary, and that's a good idea because he
has experience in nickel. I think either way, Witherspoon's gonna
have to stay outside. If you put Witherspoon in nickel,
then who's going to be your corner? Dee Williams and
Niamiah Pritchett. I mean you might as well just put
red flags and sirens onto up both those guys' helmets
and say throw at me.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
God dang it, stop the run and pass rush. Yeah, rus,
that's going to help big time. I was looking back
at some of the plays against the Niners. Rob Pritty
was pressured fifteen times, but boy did he escape all
those pressures.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
He didn't get sacked.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
I think Witherspoon's going to play outside and Love could
play nickel. Or they go Kobe Bryant as nicol with.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
I forgot about that.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Actually he did start as a corner and then they
moved him, so yeah, they could go back to that
if that's what they say.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Or Kobe Bryant's going to be the starting safety along
with Love. Kobe Bryant hasn't started since Week two of
last year. I talked to him in the locker room
about his journey and he kind of chuckled when I said,
you had a kind of an interesting journey here, and
he laughed. He So, I'm just thankful to be in
the NFL and roll on special teams. I also talked
to Julian Love in the locker room before Seahawks practice

(21:53):
this week. He had some things to say about a
team meeting that Mike McDonald had Monday. Here's what Love
had to say.

Speaker 7 (21:58):
Literally, just guys being tied on the details of their job.
And that's good.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
I mean, I think might kind of address that also
is like, listen, this is what we're doing well. Like
we're doing some things very well across the league, and
this means we're not doing well. That's how we'rerire three
and three. That's how we're defintely in the middle. And
so I think it was helpful just to know that,
man that to us against us, we have to just
do our stuff good.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
The turnovers, specifically creating more Yeah, I guess what do
you identify it is?

Speaker 6 (22:24):
Like, what do you think I mean when you play
cohesaid ball kind of put offense on their heels. Turnovers
happen more then for defense, you know, once you get
that one, they come in bunches, and so he's gotta
kind of.

Speaker 7 (22:35):
Be adamant by attacking the ball, actively.

Speaker 6 (22:38):
Seeking out opportunities to great turnovers, and offensively obviously just
protect the ball and as plus teams and so that's
kind of just overall thing.

Speaker 7 (22:45):
We have to be better in that plus minus turn
in the.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Turnover battle with how much of it is getting teams
and that's the situation.

Speaker 7 (22:51):
A lot, you'd be surprised, a lot.

Speaker 6 (22:52):
A lot of is getting you know, quarterback, quarterbacks on
their heels, a lot of the situational stuff, a lot
when people are straining or pressing to make do things offensively, as.

Speaker 7 (23:01):
When you see a lot of those floated balls.

Speaker 6 (23:03):
And half the battle is being intentional in practice, having excitement,
celebrating picks and practice forcing fumbles and all that stuff.

Speaker 7 (23:11):
And you know, honestly, we had some fumbles to pass a.

Speaker 6 (23:14):
Bunch of games that just didn't bus our way, and
so it's like those numbers could be better, but there's
a more concerted effort.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
How much can just get back in pads and the
normal schedule help you, guys, it's good it feels like
it's been a minute coming off that Monday night game.
It's just it feels like it's been a while since
we had a regular schedule. For sure, the football day
is this it's a long day, and so it feels good.

Speaker 6 (23:33):
Having this weekend was good to kind of hang out
with the family, kind of do compressed and then yeah,
this week just kind of all eyes forward and just attack.

Speaker 7 (23:40):
What's your coaches.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Demeanor been like, because you guys have this rough patching
this season, It's been good.

Speaker 7 (23:45):
I think it keeps a great perspective.

Speaker 6 (23:47):
On kind of where we're at, understanding that man, like
a few of these moments for these games were like
a few things, a few situations that we didn't execute
on and that was put us from this place. But
I think he just attacked today by keeping it black
and white on angry guy and also like it's easy,
I thing to come in and just kind of mf
everybody pretty much, but he just he tries to see
put the perspective and just provides.

Speaker 7 (24:08):
Solutions with players, which I really appreciate.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
How much were you in your guys, your teammates looking
at him and how he might react and curious about
all of us.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
Yeah, I mean, you know, it's the first time had killaches.
You're trying to feel him out. I think, guys, we're
kind of waiting for you know, I've seen a ton
of times where you know, you lose a game and
when everybody is walking on night shells, and I think
he's just trying to provide an environment that's not that,
and he isn't throw around the accountable where he thinks
that's kind of a cop out. He thinks of kind
of just his big thing has been Listen, we're doing

(24:37):
we have to do what we said we're gonna do
on defense. Situationally, if we have to be the sticks,
we had to be the sticks offensively a bit to
protect the ball.

Speaker 7 (24:45):
We protect the ball.

Speaker 6 (24:46):
It's just kind of playing within our pillars of a team,
and there's areas that we're exceeding that and then some
there's some areas that we're not. And I think that's
kind of his entire gist is like, listen, these are
our pillars. We have to If we go by these.

Speaker 7 (24:58):
Things, you win games. And it's all about process over
kind of the result.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
That's Pro Bowl safety. Julian Love and as Chris just
brought up. You could put him in nickel, you can
move him around the secondary, because he's played every position
in the NFL with the Giants, he's been a back safety,
strong safety, in middle of the fields safety, and too
deep since he came to the Seahawks before last season.
But they've got some questions here. I don't see Woolan planning.

(25:25):
They're going to bring out the about one fifteen one
o'clock today, they'll have the injury report, doubtful's, questionables and outs.
I'm expecting Wolan to be a doubtful at best, and
Trey Brown perhaps as well. And so we'll see if
near my preaches starts. Kirk Cousins is going there and
they'll throw da You're right, Drake London does a lot
of his stuff over the middle. He's a slot guy.

(25:47):
They're gonna find where pritch it is and send London
to him. And that's a challenge for the pass rush
and for Mike McDonald's coverage schemes to cover for that.
Coming up next well four nine four five one, First,
well tell them more. Do text On will be back
at eleven thirty. Tell us what your concerns is with
the Seahawks defense. I think this is a game that
Gino Smith in the offense has to outscore Atlanta. Seeat

(26:09):
was going to score. Give up thirty points to Atlanta
between the running game and Kirk Cousins throwing sounds like
foresight losses, Greg, I think they're gonna win. Oh okay,
that's good. I think they're win like thirty eight to
thirty one. It's gonna be a shoot out. It's gonna
look like one of those Detroit games four nine four one,
And tell them we're do text line. You're concerned with
the Seahawks defense, what you would do at the secondary,

(26:29):
who you'd play at nickel or whould not even go
nickel if you go three safeties? Love Wallace, Kobe Bryant.
We're be back your text at eleven thirty eleven thirty
five factor frictioning your chance to win one thousand dollars
from the Emerald Queen Casino eleven o'clock, the Orlando led
Better Falcons beat right for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. I'm next, Chris,
and I'll give you our pick for the Seahawks studs

(26:49):
this week. Who we think is going to be the
standouts in the Falcons game on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
I haven't got one right all season.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
You were close.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
It doesn't matter if you're closed, Bud.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
I've had Kenneth Walker twice and one time he was,
one time he was. I was cheating. That's next On
ninety three point three kJ RFM, Welcome Back the Price
is Right segment of the program. In game show Music

(27:22):
with your Seahawks stud predictions of the week, Greg Bell,
the News Tribute and Christopher Kidd with you in ninety
three point three KJRFM in a Washington State Beef Commissions
Football Friday. Who you thinking, Chris? You want me to
go first?

Speaker 2 (27:35):
I this is tough.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
I will go with the run defense as a team,
as a units, which means Byron Murphy, which means Byron Murphy,
all of them. If they're going to get after the quarterback,
they're gonna have to slow down the run game. And
if they're not slowing down the run game, then yes, Greg,
you're gonna get your little shootout. And I hope the

(27:58):
Seahawks have the football last, because that means, do you
know what Mark's down? I'm probably convert with a touchdown
or a field goal, because it's an indoor game and
a dome, and I'm not confident that it'll work the
opposite if Kirk Cousins has the football, although Anderson will
tell you he's not that good. Chris, Okay, buddy, he's
done it three times, just saying. So that's what I'm saying.

(28:19):
Defensive line studs, all right, Yeah, not just one.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Gon need him.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
They're going to all of them. That's my cop out
pick for you, Greg Well, that's a contrarian pick.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
After one hundred and sixteen yards dressing by Detroit, one
hundred and seventy five by the Giants, two hundred and
twenty eight by San Francisco, and now Bjeon Robinson and
Tyler Aljier coming at Seattle in the run game in
Atlanta on Sunday. My Seahawks stud prediction is DK Metcalf.
Atlanta we talked about has the worst pass rush in

(28:50):
the league. They have the allowed the highest completion percentage
by opposing quarterbacks in the NFL. If there's a game
that's Brian Greb's game, playing deep shots down the field
against Cover three, which Atlanta runs forty two percent of
the time, Single high safety, Single high safety is what
Ryan Gribb lives for to put a safety in an

(29:12):
in a quandary of trying to decide who am I
taking this crosser in front of me? This outside route
is breaking deep on me, this tight end is running
down the scene. Holy hell, who am I gonna go cover?
If this is a huge iff. Of course, the Seahawks
offensive line gives Geno Smith time. DK Metcalf is going
to have a ten catch, one hundred and fifty yard
and two touchdown day. That's my prediction, and they're gonna

(29:35):
need every one of those yards and scores to beat
Atlanta with the defense the way it is. IM prediction
is dk Metcalf four nine four one to telemort New
Texts on your prediction to who the Seahawks stead of
the game is. Chris is right. They're gonna need studs
on the defensive front to at least slow downs Atlanta's
run game In offense, fears.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Are right, Greg, it'll be a shootout.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
And if that's that's the case, I don't know if
their DB's are gonna be able to hang out with
what the Atlanta fagraph are doing passing this season. They
got some talented guys Seahawks are banged up everywhere, So
can they get a few stops here and there?

Speaker 1 (30:11):
I would say so. But and when they do get stops,
that means that's when the offense has to score. Oh yeah,
we saw it in the forty nine Ers game. There
were chances for the Seahawks to grab the lead or
get close to tie after a few stops in the
second half of the defense, and they didn't. Dophins didn't
do it. We've seen that in three game losing streak.
It's not like the defense is giving it up every
single time. So when they don't, you gotta score. You

(30:33):
gotta take advantage of that. I think Seattle's going to
do that more times than not on Sunday against this
Atlanta defense indoors in a dome, white uniforms. Geno Smith
has just killed teams think Saints in the Supernome Detroit Lions.
The last three seasons, he's had his best games of
his career and those conditions and those conditions are going
to be the same on Sunday in Atlanta inside the

There's twenty chances to enter. Why is that important, Well,

now and when the contest ends in middle of December
will win ten thousand dollars from the Emerald Queen Casino,
the betting capital of the Northwest. So that how it
works is on Friday or Monday, that to the end
of all the games the weekend or Tuesday. If someone

has picked them on a night game, we will take
all the winners it whether you've won once or twenty
times and put you in a hat basically an electronic hat,
and Anderson Hurst will pull one name from of all
the winners from the week. If your name's pulled, you
win the thousand dollars. We had Guy the very first
week of the show win with Army. He only that

(32:20):
was the only time he entered all week and he won.
He won a thousand dollars. All of this brought to
you by the Emerald Queen Casino, the betting capital of
the Northwest. Your chance on our show comes at eleven

And to be consistent, I'm going to stay on the

much stay on colleges LOWERD DEMN the Army team, so
it won't be Army coming up next the Orlando lot Better,
