Welcome to the Health and Weldness Show. Good morning, my friends. It's
wonderful to have you with us.If you're just joining us, you've been
hanging out with us for the lasthour for the home improvement show of the
business, Well, thanks for stickingwith it, because we got a lot
of great information to pass along toyou this hour as well on the Health
and Wellness Show, and you're listeningto it right here on one of three
point five FM and five sixty AMw v o C. Coming up,

(00:54):
we'll talk to Bridget Travel, thefounder of the co owner and the head
coach the health they're getting you healthy, especially especially as we been talking about
this month for folks that are extremelybusy, and that's a lot of us.
You're too busy to take care ofyourself. How the health there can
help you out. Mike Brown, the owner of Molly May, will also
be by. We'll talk about notspring cleaning, but fall cleaning and the

(01:15):
importance of keeping at home clean, certainly this time of the year or any
time of the year, but hereas we approached the end of August and
Labor Day weekend is wow, justa week away now. In many parts
of the country, that signals theend of summer and summer fun around here,
though not the slightest we got.Summertime here will go probably into October.

(01:42):
Who knows this year, with theway things have been. We welcome
in Matt Lyon, the owner ofCarefree boat Clubs out at Lake Murray.
Helove, my friend, How areyou doing the day, good man?
Do you being a guy from Chicago? No? No, let me say
when did you first come here?I know you just opened up care Free
boat Club earlier this year? Correct? How long have you been in the

(02:02):
middles of South Carolina? We movedhere last August, last just a year.
Okay, so you you've had theexperience I had. This summertime doesn't
end when Labor Day rolls around, not even close. Correct. Yes,
I've had that experience, and summershere are a bit hotter than summers up
there, but I'll trade it fornot having a shovel snow any day of
the week. Right, Yeah, exactly. So point Baying is, there's

(02:23):
still months and months, and heck, for me and my wife, it's
not unusual rush to take a boatout in December January. We've done a
plenty of time. So but thisis the difference with becoming part of a
boat club. Rather than have thatboat sit up or maybe be de winterized,
you know, come on November orso and have it up on the

(02:45):
shelf until March or April the followingyear. So you can't take it out.
Absolutely right, you're stuck. Butnow, as a member of the
care Free Boat Club, if wedecide we want to on December head out
on Lake Murray. Hey, theweather is pretty nice today. Why not
go hit it. We can doit without any hassle at all. That's

(03:06):
the whole point, right, Yep, I'll do you one better. If
you want Christmas morning, you cancome open up your presence on a boat
in the middle of the lake. One of the benefits being down here is
that we will have boats on thewater year round, and actually our boat
purchasing goes year round as well.I just placed an order for another double
decker to go with the Tipsy Turtle. My biggest it really is, My

(03:29):
biggest issue is coming up with newnames, so I'll keep working on that.
Yeah, there's a there's a backstorybehind those names. I don't know.
We need to get into it rightnow, but probably not. And
then members get to vote on andthey even suggest the names for these boats
too, So it's yep, it'skind of a democracy. It is.
It is very what boats we addas a democracy, what we name them

(03:50):
as a democracy, what extra thingswe get for the boats as a democracy.
So if people want two person tubes, three person tubes, different types
of flow, we get it all. So we want the members of what
would they want? And we havefun, yeah, because I get emails
all the time, all right, what do you want? You want more
wave runners? You want another trytune, you want another you know,

(04:12):
uh sin alone console boat. Imean, you guys do a great job
of keeping the members involved. Andwe're looking at at during what I'll call
our off season. We're still open, we still have boats in the water.
We're not as busy as we getin the middle of summer. We
start planning and looking at the nextseason and saying what types of boats are
we missing do we want to addto our members? Want more fishing boats?

(04:33):
Are they happy with the one ortwo we have now? Do they
want highbred boats that can be fishingand pontoon boats? Do they want deep
v boat boats? I mean,we really look and dive into it and
take all the opinions we can getto get the best boats for the club
mine. So you're first summer here'sjust about in the books. But I

(04:53):
know the sum again, the summerboats season extends for a while now,
and we've talked the last few timesthat you only had a a couple of
slots left for the summertime season.Where do things staying on that right now?
Actually, we're full for the summerfull up. We are not aggressively
looking for new memberships. I'll neverturn someone away, but we're happy to
talk, we're happy to show,We're happy to give people tours of the

(05:15):
club and so forth and still getthem on board. But I'm calling the
official summer season pushes over. We'reinto for my business. We're into the
fall season at this point, wherewe can do different creative things to get
people in in different ways that maymay fit their budget better than coming on
board at our busy time, whichwould be April May. I'm a little

(05:36):
bit less aggressive on those times becauseat that point I want to make sure
we bring people in and do itin a different way. It's just a
different way to run the business. So I'm still looking for members, just
not under the summer special. Sopeople may hear you say this, right,
I'll say, wow, that's kindof crazy, man. You mean
you're not actively seeking to me.There's a reason for this. Absolutely.

(05:57):
We want to make sure we keepour member about ratio in a place where
people can get access to boats, where people can be out on the water.
The number one complaint when it comesto a boat club where the number
one concern is can I get aboat when I want it? And the
simple answer is yes, if theboat club is run properly, and that's
keeping your member to boat ratio low. Right now, our member to boat
ratio is three to one, whenit's been at three to one for a

(06:19):
while. As I add members,I add boats. So right now I've
just placed an order for the newdouble decker we talked about. When that
boat comes in, I can addthree more members without it being a problem,
without it throwing my ratio off andso forth. And then I need
to decide what boats we're going toget rid of on the off season and
keep that membership still where it needsto be because people want to be out

(06:40):
on boats, and we want themto be on on boats. Now Carefree
Boat Club is a nationwide organization.Yes, we one hundred and thirty eight
locations, I think the number today. So as we talked about before,
if you remember at Lake Murray, you can get a boat anywhere in the
country you find a Carefree Boat Clublocation absolutely where as close to Lake Murray,

(07:00):
as we have two locations down inCharleston. We have members that go
down there constantly. We have locationsof Lake Norman, a couple of locations
in Georgia just a couple hours away, so you can take a day trip
and go boat on a bunch ofdifferent bodies of water, all within a
drivable distance to Lake Murray. Andthen if you go on vacation to Florida,
which many people do, we thinkwe have like sixty five locations down

(07:20):
there, so we're all over thatstate. Just don't bring a little malaria
back exactly. We'd appreciate if youdidn't, or they did gay fever yea,
or or the gators, yes, never the gators. So you can
I mean we're on freshwater here ona lake, so I mean you can

(07:41):
go to Florida, you can goto Charleston, you can take one out
on the saltwater, get out inthe ocean with it. Yep. But
I actually just signed up a memberWednesday of this week of this past week
who used to own a boat onthe ocean, and he did it for
fishing in the intercostal the way he'dliked to fish and so forth. But
they moved here, he sold hisboat. He wants to get back in
the fishing and joined specifically because heplans to go to Charleston to utilize their

(08:03):
boats along with utilizing our boats thatare that are right around the corner from
his house. Very good. You'veowned boats in the past. I have.
I have. I've been a horribleboat owner, so I started.
I joined the club back in theMidwest just because I was such a bad
boat owner. I'm the guy whowho bought a Yamaha jet boat and thought
I was the coolest guy on thelake and ruined it the first day.

(08:26):
The first day. Yeah, thosesuck up anything within two feet of the
bottom, and that includes the bottomof the lake if you're in less than
two foot of water, so suckingup rocks and mud isn't real good for
that. That was about a sixseven thousand dollars repair. First day out.
Yeah. Yeah, but that's partof the problem with owning your own
boat. I mean, and Iknow because we've owned three of them over

(08:46):
the years. Those things that youdon't really necessarily think, especially for somebody
who's never owned a boat and you'rethinking, you know what, let's do
this thing. What are some ofthe things that pop up that you don't
think about is for somebody who's neverowned one before. There's a lot of
stuff there is, and there's alsoboats are different. They're like cars.

(09:07):
You might know how to drive yourSUV that's automatic, but you don't necessarily
know how to drive a Porsche thatmight be stick And with this, I'm
a prime example of it. Ibought a jet boat thinking I knew everything
I need to know about boats becausemy family used to have an Io eighteen
footer. I went out and boughta twenty two foot jet boat and I

(09:28):
wasn't trained on it. No onetaught me anything. They literally let me
pull out of the dealership with theboat. I dropped it on the water
and absolutely. Yeah. So that'sone of the nice things is we not
only train people on boat safety, train them on how to operate a boat
as well. But also show themthe differences of the different boats, because
each one of them handle a littlebit different. So before people go out,

(09:48):
we make sure we let them knowwhat's different about that boat, not
just what the bluetooth is to connectthe radio, but how it drives,
how it handles, how wind affectsit. If you're out the Tipsy Turtle,
that's a double decker, it's likea Rubik's cube on the water.
Wind will push that around and youneed to be ready for it. And
you know what's gonna happen if itgets windy up over there and Miss Murray.

(10:09):
Yeah, but there's so many differentthings that come into play, the
taxes, registration fees, and youtalk about the convenience of being part of
a boat club. Otherwise you wantedtwo things of a boat are you either
keep it on a trailer in yourin your side yard or whatever, rarely
use it. And yeah, becauseof you know, towing it out,

(10:33):
putting it in, bringing it backout again, putting it back on the
trailer, cleaning it up, towingit back, and it becomes a full
day. You may get a coupleof good dollars of fun on the lake,
but then everything else around. Itis just a hassle. And all
those hassles make you not want togo out. It makes you, especially
as the dad who might be theone driving the trailer, driving the boat,

(10:56):
doing the extra work cleaning it,all that stuff. I used to
sit there in my fly wants togo out on a lake, but we
had it in a trailer, notsitting in the lake. And the moment
they said that, I'd start addingup in my mind. How much earlier
do I have to get up?Sure? What do I have to clean?
Is the boat ready to go?Are the batteries charged? I've had
three people this year walk into ourclub and say, will you rent me

(11:16):
a boat today? Because the boatI own we just put in the water
and it won't turn on. AndI've seen people with all their floats and
all their coolers and their entire familywalking in and little kids and tears saying,
well, you know, dad,why aren't we going on the boat?
It's not working because it's been sittingin a driveway for four months.
You know, boats are meant tobe used, They're meant to be on
the water. Like a car.You don't crack your car up. But

(11:37):
a couple of times you're gonna haveproblems. Exactly exactly, we eliminate all
that. I know, the firsttime we owned a boat, I got
a big surprise when I got notone, but two property tax bills instead
of South Carolina. South Carolina isa wonderful state. I wholeheartedly love it
down here, but the taxing situationprogram scenario is horrible when it comes to

(11:58):
cars, boats, and investment property. Those are three things that any politician
that might be hearing this, pleasedo something about that because they're horrible.
Good luck with that, yeah, exactly. For years here, primary home
taxes are great, but everything elseis just a it's just a train wreck.
Like I'm happy to pay property taxor a tax on things I buy,

(12:18):
but I don't want to pay taxevery year on a boat that sits
in my driveway. No, andone bill for the boat and one bill
for the boat. Yeah. Yeah, that's the way they do it around
here. So again we bring allthat up because if you've never owned a
boat before, there are a lotof hidden fees, all things that can
pop up. And again it's justas that has. The slogan of Carefree

(12:39):
Boat Club is it's boating without owning. It's about time. It is.
It's about time. It's about timesomeone did this. It's about more time
with your family, it's about moretime on the lake having fun. Period.
And as far as the cost goesand so forth, being a member
of any boat club is going tobe the third the cost of owning a
boat. So if you want tothrow money away and own a boat,

(13:00):
I'm all for it. Late lake'sgreat, have fun. But if you're
at all worried about finance, ifyou want to get the best bang for
your buck, a boat club isgoing to do that for you. And
I'll break the numbers out and I'llshow it to you. It's not that
hard a math. And that's that'san average a third the cost. In
South Carolina, it's even less thanthat because of the taxes, it's about
twenty five percent of the cost ofowning a boat. Yeah, that just

(13:24):
dawns on me that for somebody whois thinking they may want to buy a
boat one of these days, it'sprobably a good idea to join up in
a boat club. And you know, number one, figure out if you've
got any aptitude for it or not, right, will you really enjoy it?
And figure out what boat you want. One of the best things about
Lake Murray is you can get afishing boat. You can get a center
council boat. You can get abow rider ski boat. You can get

(13:46):
a wake surf boat. You canget a try tune boat. There's lots
of options. And I have fourmembers I can think of off the top
of my head who have joined theclub because their wife wanted a try tune
to go out with her friends andfamily and the kids and so forth,
and the dad wanted a fishing boat. And that's a conflict. So I
guess you could say Carefree Boat Clubsaves marriages. That's really what we're in

(14:07):
the business to do. We cango there there, but it's true you
might as well see what boat youultimately use. Give it a shot,
and I can sell you a boat. I'm happy to sell you a boat
by fifteen twenty on a year.I mean, I absolutely could. The
problem is when you break it outand do the numbers, you're most people
realize owning one boat doesn't make aton of sense when it's twenty five percent

(14:31):
the cost. And I have accessto a dozen boats of all different kinds.
If we want to bring friends andfamily out and we want to throw
our kids off a tube, Ican do a three hundred horsepower bottle rider
and have a blast. If wewant to go hang out and party cove,
I can get a double decker andI'm gonna hit i'mna hit a party
cove. Oh yeah, yeah.If I want to catch people to jump
on there. If I want tocatch dinner tonight, I can take a

(14:56):
fishing boat out fishing. You can'tfind a boat that can do all of
those things, but you can finda boat club that can let you do
all those things. For us,we'd always own bow riders over the years,
and so when we joined up,you know, the first thing that
we did was go out on oneof the pontu the try tunes actually,
and uh yeah, I know. This is a lot different from what I'm
used to. It is it is, and it's a lot easier for me.

(15:18):
I find it'd be easier to drive. I thought it would be the
other way around. And it's morecomfy, especially for delts over the age
of let's say twenty, who wantto relax and maybe have a cold beverage
when they're on the boat. TryTune works great for that. Right,
and things like that. It's justit's a different experience than being in a
bow rider, which are really builtfor speed. Yeah, the older I

(15:39):
guess, let's speed. It mattersto me anyway. We've all noticed you're
moving a little bit slower. Yeah, yeah, some days more so than
others. You know, we tookwe took the party Pelican Beautiful, beautiful.
Try tune out with some of ourneighbors. A couple of weeks ago,
you took that out to see thePurple Martins Martins, which was pretty
cool, very cool, Yeah, very cool, And we're cool with you
staying out. You've been a memberfor a while now. We came in

(16:02):
after dark and you all were alreadyclosed up, and we left you an
easy spot to pull into. Weleft you a little bit of instructions on
how to kind of lock up theboat, so to speak, and we
let members do that all the time. It's we want you to treat it
like at your boat. We don'twant to limit you. We want to
make sure everyone else has similar access, but we don't want to limit you
for having fun. I have anumber of members who have relatives that live
on the lake and they'll take aboat overnight at their at their in law's

(16:26):
dock and leave it there and takeit out the next morning as well,
and as as long as other peopleget access and so forth. It all
works. Now you have a systembecause well, for example, we quite
some time ago went ahead and bookeda boat for next weekend, Labor Day
weekend, which you can do withall reservation says, but that's not the
only way you can get a boat, correct, How does that work?

(16:47):
Correct? You can text or callus at any point and say, hey,
I need a boat for tomorrow.Hey I need a boat for today.
Like for example, on Friday,we started the day with one boat
going out at nine am for onemember. By the end of the day
we had four boats going out,and those other three members simply sent me
a text and said, hey,we got an extra few hours right now.

(17:08):
Do you have any boats available?Yeah? I had all of them,
you know, so, yeah.We make it easy to get you
out, whether it's through the onlinereservation system, which is the best way
to secure the exact boat you want, the exact time you want it,
but if you're just looking to getout on the water, it's nothing more
than a text, our phone call, saying what's still there. It could

(17:30):
be in the next five minutes. You want to get out, what's the
call and say, do you havea boat? I can hop on in
five minutes and we'll look up inthis system real quick, tell you what
we have and get you out.And so this this comes back around,
So it goes back around to theway we started this conversation. Low boat
to member ratio. Yep, it'sit's all about ratio. I get that
backwards. We don't want to lowban the other way around, exactly exactly.

(17:55):
So, yeah, we need tomake sure that we keep access to
the boats. Great for everyone becausethat'll keep you in the club, that'll
get your friends and family in theclub, that'll keep the five star Google
reviews coming for the club. That'sthe beginning of everyone's experience is can they
get a boat when they want itwithin the care free program we've set up
here in Lake Murray. They absolutelycan, especially if they use the online

(18:18):
system and the way we train themand teach them to then they never have
to worry about getting the boat theywant when they want it. If they
don't use that system, and they'relike me, extremely unorganized and deciding things
last minute. We keep the memberof the boat ratio, so there's there's
ninety nine times out of one hundredavailability that they need at last minute.
Yeah, we have never had anissue with it at all. All right,

(18:38):
it's Carefree Boat Cup in Lake Murray. Again, you're part of a
national organization, so if you're amember here, you remember everywhere absolutely,
which is very cool. All right. So the fall boating season, at
least as far as your marketing isis here, you're gonna be looking at
some creative ways. Yep. Forfolks who do want to join, absolutely
certainly. How's the best way tofind out more? You can check us

(19:00):
out at Carefree boats dot com oryou can call me direct anytime or text
me at eight four seven two twosix seven five seven nine. Still looking
to get rid of that Midwest areacode on my phoney we're used to at
this stage exactly. Everybody's got afunky area Yeah. I can tell you
out of my thirty three members,I probably have thirty two different area codes

(19:22):
that come through on text to me. So we'lcome to twenty twenty three.
All right, Matt, have yourselfa great weekend, buddy, Thank you,
sir, if you can reach downand grab a handful of belly fat,
stop going to the gym. Stopstarving yourself. It won't work.
Visceral fat is its own organ andyou need a professional belly fat blasting team
to help you get rid of it. The Health there has a sailor health

(19:44):
scale that can measure your health onthe sailor level. Get healthy from the
inside out and reduce symptoms of diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep at nia.
Reduce inches on your belt or yourmoney back. Call one eight seven
seven, I dare me go toidare Columbia dot com and and I are
back on leg Murray this summer.Y'all, look out. We're out there.
But we love boating. We've ownedthree different boats over the course of

(20:07):
our years together, and you knowit took us three to finally realize,
you know, as much fun asit is, boy, it is sure
a hassle. So we don't owna boat anymore. But we are now
members of the care Free Boat Clubout of Lag Murray, and we have
like you will when you join us, unlimited use boats, unlimited use of
wave runners and kayaks, and freeaccess and use of boats at over one

(20:30):
hundred and thirty locations all across thenation. They got a great fleet.
Over it to care Free Boat Club. They have a double decker pontoon.
Love it, try to ski boats, a centerline console fishing boat. I
mean you name it, all ofthem loaded, loaded, and the industry's
best member to boat ratio, andthey can prove it to you get more

(20:52):
access to boats when you want tobe out on Lake Murray. And by
joining the care Free Boat Club thiscost about one or the cost annually of
actually owning a boat. So skipthe hassles and just enjoy the fun like
we are with care Free Boat Club. Find out more by calling eight three
three four two six twenty eight fortyfour, or by going to care free

(21:12):

(21:36):
Bridget Trammell, the owner, thefounder and a coach. Are you
the head coach of the health there? Can we call you the head coach?
Bridget? You can say that, you can say that there are it's
always good to have you with us. Good morning to tell you they're all.
There are a lot of things whenit comes to your health that the
health there can help you with andyou guys make a promise yes to do

(22:00):
to do certain things or give folksback there might tell us about that.
Absolutely, we promise to reverse thesymptoms of typewo diabetes, high blood pressure,
high cholesterol, sleep at me atibs and help you lose weight in
inches within thirty days or your moneyback. And today I thought we would
talk about high blood pressure because itis such a common condition, as probably

(22:26):
I would say, one of thenumber one things that we deal with at
the Health Dare. And it's kindof funny because we talk to people in
the office kind of the first thingthey say is, I got a little
high blood pressure, but it's nobig deal. So today I want to
talk about the fact that it isa big deal. You know, high
blood pressure not only can lead toother existing symptoms and issues, but it

(22:48):
can cause them. So a littlehigh blood pressure is nothing to nod at.
So first I thought we talk aboutwhat is high blood pressure, because
you know, you may not knowwhat it actually is out So high blood
pressure or hypertension occurs when your bloodvessels are too narrow for the blood being
pumped through them. You've got moreblood than you've got vessels. You got

(23:10):
these tiny little little vessels all throughyour body that pump bloods to and from
your heart. And if your bloodpressure is considered high, it's considered high
if it reads about one thirty overeighty. You know, even worse is
one forty over ninety. So ifyou get a blood pressure reading, you
know, one hundred and eighty overover one tenth, I mean, that's
that's life threatening. Speak medical treatment. Right away, we're gonna say we've

(23:33):
all stuck our hands in those cuffsin the CBS pharmacy, you know,
or you know, my kids alwaysjump on those machines and then play around
with the high blood pressure. Butbut seriously, you really do need to
check that blood pressure as frequently aspossible, especially as you start to get
over the age of fifty. Andyou know that's why the health there is

(23:55):
a cellular health program. We arebased on hydration, hydration, hydration.
You know, your body has threethirty trillion cells. It's made up about
thirty trillion, and about three hundredand thirty billion of those cells are replaced
every single day. So it's notas hard to reverse the symptoms of high
blood pressure as you would think.Have the right hand, so every seven

(24:19):
years, our bodier places uld bodyand we completely regenerate. So whatever you've
been doing for the last seven yearsis pretty much who you are. If
you've been doing barbecue and uh andice cream and we've had a lot of
recliner times. I don't know anybodylike that. Bridget Well, hey,

(24:41):
you know we all were quarantined lastyear, and you know it's it's to
be expected with the high stress Americanlife. So some of the symptoms of
high blood pressure. You know what'ssneaky about high blood pressure is it doesn't
really have any symptoms. You know, it's kind of the silent enemy.
It you can't I don't really tellif you have high blood pressure other than

(25:02):
going to your doctor and getting reading. By the time you have the severe
symptoms like the dizziness, the headaches, nosebleeds, those are like you know
your your heart's about to explode. You know it's it's time to rush to
the hospital. But most people don'thave symptoms of high blood pressure. You
know that they have a bad knee, or they or they fall and hurt
themselves, or or they're having lowenergy. To get their testosterone checked and

(25:26):
oh, their doctor comes back andsays, hey, buddy, you've got
high blood pressure, but you maynot know it. So that's usually when
our clients come into us is whentheir wives have dragged them into the doctor,
or women are getting around menopause. They finally do that, you know,
blood work at age fifty five andit comes back high blood pressure.
You know, So you're right, this is something that probably anybody listening right

(25:52):
now, if you went and grabthe blood pressure cuff, you're probably going
to find that for most people it'sabove one rate, right right, And
our clients want to know, youknow, what causes high blood pressure.
You know, a lot of peoplecome into our offices hereditary. My mom
had a high blood pressure, Mygrandfather had high blood sure and I would
agree with that. You know, there is some validity and there's some scientific

(26:15):
evidence that blood pressure can be passeddown, but believe it or not,
that's pretty rare. It's more likelythat you inherited your mom's affinity for red
velvet cake. Don't get your healthhabits are also passed on by your parents,
So sometimes it's hard to decide whetherit's hereditary or whether your grandma's devil's

(26:41):
Devil's chocolate cake and thereditary. Youknow. So there's two different kinds of
hypertension or high blood pressure that westudy at the health stare. So the
first one is primary hypertension. There'snot really any reason. It just develops
over several decades. It can justbe you know, that's where cellular health
comes in. Little toddlers are bornwith seventy percent water in their cells.

(27:03):
I mean it maybe have seventy percentwater. They're hydrated, they're healthy.
Whereas the odor you get, themore dehydrated you become, your cells start
turning into rasin. And high bloodpressure is all about hydration in those cells,
you know, hydration carrying that bloodto and from those those vessels,

(27:23):
being hydrated and lubricated and things likethat. So sometimes you just get be
hydrated over decades. The second kindof high blood pressure is secondary hypertension,
and that can be aggravated by anunderlying condition. So often when we see
clients come in that have sleep apnia, they have high blood pressure. If

(27:45):
they have high cholesterol, it's blockin the arteries, they have high blood
pressure. If they have type twodiabetes, the insulin can't communicate with the
cells. They have high blood pressure. If they're on medicines or statins,
are certain things those medications can evenadd devate the high blood pressure. So
almost all of the time, justabout every client, I would say,
ninety nine point five percent of ourclients, whether they have sleep at mia,

(28:08):
type two diabetes, or something elsegoing on, they all have a
little sidekick called hypertension. Interesting.I guess when you stop and think about
a bridget Yeah, everything runs bythat blood moving through those vessels, and
anything that impedes that is going tolead to as you mentioned a host of

(28:29):
other issues. It'll just just yeah, let me ask you something about you
talk about hydration a lot, andhydrating these cells and it wouldn't be nice
was just as simple as just drinkingoff water. But I mean it really
isn't. I mean, there's there'sthere's more to it than just drinking a
bunch of water. I guess absolutelywell, when you have about high blood
pressure in the cells and raisins versusgreats, you don't want your cells to

(28:52):
look like raisins. You want themto look like grapes, you know.
And so the first thing we dowill leave the doctor's office and he says,
buddy, you've got high blood pressure. First thing you do would say,
I'm an lay off the coke, layout the sweet sea, I'm gonna
drink water, maybe drop five pounds. But it's not that easy, Garry.
When your cells have become atrophied, when they are in that raisin like
state, when you drink water, the outer shell of that cell membrane it

(29:18):
hardens, so the water cannot penetratethe cell. The water basically goes around
the cell and just pee out thewater you drink. So there's doing a
lot of pea and going on,but not a lot of absorbing and hydration
going on. So at the HealthThere, we have figured out how to
open the cell. So we haveclients to come in that have these fancy
alkaline water machines and they are completelydehydrated. There is dehydrated as our four

(29:44):
hundred pound diabetics. It's not howmuch water you drink, it's how much
you absorb. So you need acellular health technology in order to be able
to do that. And at theHealth There, that is the entire crupt
of our program. It's hydration, hydration, hydration. So you're telling me
that if you know anybody who justgoes and gets that big old you know,
maybe that gallon milk juggle water. You see it all the time,

(30:07):
especially if you go to a gymand the total around the big old guy
and you're just drinking all day long. But if if as soon as you
drinking, your head to the restroomand it's moving right through you, then
it's really not doing you any good. That's right. Well, I'm not
gonna say drinking water isn't doing good, because water is always good. Ninety
percent of your body systems operate onwater. But when you get to that

(30:30):
age where you're over fifty five, you have high blood pressure, high cholester
I'll sleep at me. You know, high blood pressure. Your body is
dehydrated and it takes a lot moreto penetrate those cells and truly flush out
that belly fat, flush out thatthat toxicity and that inflammation that's causing the
high blood pressure. And you know, the diets that are high in fat

(30:55):
and and all those things, thoseare causing that high blood pressure. All
the stress. So many of ourclients are taking care of their grandkids,
are taking care of their bosses,or live in the American Dream taking care
of their elderly parents. Stress alsocauses high blood pressure. So you not
only need a good diet, agood way to absorb water, but you

(31:17):
also need a health coach and alicensed counselor that can help you navigate those
boundaries in your life. Because here'sthe thing, Gary, You know,
a lot of men come in,fold their arms over that big belly,
stare me right in the eye.Say I was a former athlete, I
was a former football player. Ijust got a little, just got a
little high blood pressure. I'm fine, But here's the reality right now.

(31:41):
Yea, the risk factors of highblood pressure straight from the Mayo clinic.
Okay, heart attack or stroke. You're so much higher risk for heart attack
and stroke when you have high bloodpressure after the age of fifty and youerhysms.
Okay, heart feel weakened and narrowblood vessels in your kidneys. Kidney

(32:04):
failure is rampant in older ages.Okay, thickened and narrow or torn blood
vessels in the eyes. We're talkinglosing your eyesight, having to get thicker
glasses. Metabolic syndrome. It slowsdown your metabolism. You can't lose weight,
you get even more belly fat, your blood flash or sky rockets even
higher, get more sleep at meia, trouble with memory, you know,

(32:27):
dementia. So these are the thingsthat cause high blood pressure. So when
they say a little high blood pressure, my eyebrows go up. Because as
a health coach, I've seen peoplewho have decided to change their lives,
and I've seen people who have decidednot to. We had a client come
in about three months ago and hesaid, I've got to change my life.

(32:49):
He had high blood fresh or highcholesterol, sleep at meia, type
two diabetes, and he said,I'm gonna sign up for the program,
but I'm gonna wait two weeks.Coming in two weeks from now. He
had a heart attack before he cameback. And the thing is about the
cells. If we have thirty trillioncells in our body, and three hundred
and thirty billion of them regenerate everyday, a couple of days of eating

(33:15):
healthy using the health there technologies ona cellular level to hydrate those cells goes
so far. And that's why weoffer a thirty day money back guarantee because
we can help you regenerate those cellsand immediately begin reversing those symptoms immediately,

(33:36):
so it doesn't take long to getto get on the path, right,
and I've experienced that. And bythe way, bridge, I gotta tell
you that my wife and I justwrapped up ninety days with y'all. I've
told the story before. Second timewe've done it, because the first time
was pre pandemic, right, sowe require your time, right exactly,

(34:00):
but just I mean, just likethe first time I did it, I
lost almost the same thirty pounds ofbody fat. Incredible, incredible, and
it's just and interestingly enough, thefirst time we did this, it wasn't
long afterwards, a few months afterwards, that we that we sold our home
and moved and I reflected afterwards abouthow I would not have been able to

(34:22):
get through the physicality of all thathad I been in my prior state.
Well, interestingly enough, we're actuallyin the process of just just wrapped up
a home edition project and incredible andso once again, you know, here
I go, you know, burningthe midnight oil painting and doing everything else
and move and stuff and all that. It occurred to me once again that

(34:43):
I just would not have had theenergy and the stamina to do that.
Yeah, it doesn't happened last year. I mean, it really is amazing.
Yes, and it's incredible how fastwe're able to flush out belly fat
help reverse those symptoms of high bloodpressure. And it's not just diet and
exercise. You know, you cango on any diet and it works for
a minute. We're talking about completebody transformation, hydration, building muscle,

(35:07):
losing fat. But it's so easy. You don't have to go to the
gym. You don't have to sacrificethe food you love. I still have
my ribby and baked potato. Imean, you don't have to do a
servation rabbit diet. But I thinkwhat it comes down to is that you
just can't do these types of thingsalone. You know, I'm a health
coach and I need a health coach. Bridget, thank you so much.

(35:27):
Thank you. And what is thatnumber? By the way, my coaches
are standing by. It talks toyou right now. If you've just got

(38:10):
point five FM and five sixty Am w B oct started going to spinal
on by here Marty to the finalsegment. As we woke up in Mike
Brown the well, I want tocall you the new owner, fairly new
owner, fairly new and Gary ofMolly Made. Good to see it again,
brother, Good to see you. Thanks for having us our pleasure.
We first sat down a couple ofweeks ago talking about the service at Molly

(38:35):
Made, which I didn't know thisyou you enlightened us as to where that
name actually comes from. It does. It's actually the British term for a
maid, molly Molly, now Molly. I never knew that. I didn't
either, and it's Molly Made, not Molly Maids. That's correct. I
made that mistake about a dozen times, I have to, and I've been
corrected in any times myself. Wediscussed a few weeks back the process and

(39:02):
what the services y'all offer, andand also just in general it just the
importance of a clean home man.For example, as I mentioned, my
wife, she's a stickler. I'ma guy and I'm a whatever, but
she's one of these that is astickler for a house being clean. And
I've mentioned her the other day that, yeah, we're kind of an anomaly

(39:27):
really I think, uh, youknow you're listening. You may be a
stickler for a clean home too.But I've mentioned how often we'll go somewhere
and visit somebody and I and itdoesn't occur to me at the time necessarily,
but until we get back home,I go, oh, wow,
wow, wife, excellent, thisis great. Uh. Not to say
I don't pitch you know a bit, but well, truth of the matter

(39:51):
is, again, I'm a guy. It's not been for for her,
the place wouldn't look like it doesright now. But most and for a
lot of folks, it's just aquestion of time. That's right time.
You know, a lot of busyprofessionals, young families with new children.
Yeah, they just can't keep up. They need a little help. And
there's clean, and then there's cleanthat's right. And with the with the

(40:15):
money made experience. I know youtold us a couple weeks. It starts
with that very first visit. Wecall the initial deep clean, deep clean,
where we get all your old dirtso then we can start to maintain
your new dirt. That can takea while. Exact. Yes, yes,

(40:38):
I look at my my parents. My dad will be ninety one next
month. Okay, my mom willbe uh she's closing on a ninety herself.
And yeah, I in a situationlike that, I mean, a
service like this is perfect. Itreally is. We have a lot of
senior clients that not only need alittle help around the house, but they

(41:00):
also like a little company having ourteams come by and you know, maybe
do a little you know, helpthem around the house with something extra.
But just knowing they're going to comeby on a regular basis it makes them
happy all around. Sure, no, no, what is that regular basis?
Yeah, they can choose them andhow does this absolutely so we have
all kinds of different services. Wehave a weekly service, we have every

(41:21):
other week service, and we havea monthly service. But then if you
don't want to be on a regularschedule, we also do you know,
one time cleans. A lot oftimes moving out we need to clean,
moving in, you want your newhouse clean, or special occasion cleaning,
so we can cover you any anyscenario you may have. Now, again,
as you mentioned, and this isthe important it's kind of like when

(41:43):
we on the other show, onthe Home Improvement Show, we talked to
Trey Palo or Mosquito, Joe yeah, and he was on with us earlier
this morning. And with the mosquito, for example, they could come out
and do a one time spray andknock off a bunch of mosquitoes, but
it's much more effective when they comeout on every three weeks as they do.
This is the same kind of thing. That's right, that's right,
And you know, the more timeswe come out, the better it's going

(42:07):
to be. And it's also alittle cheaper because we're all we're not going
to have a lot of that olderdirt to catch up with. It's funny
you mentioned mosquito, Joe and thepest because we've been run into a lot
of this lately, coming into homesthat have a serious pest problem. In
South Carolina. We have roaches, fruit flies, bed bugs, and it's

(42:28):
becoming a considerable problem. And it'sthat's from not maintaining your home and that's
when those pests can start to grabhold and create a problem. So having
that regular maintenance is a good wayto eliminate and not allow those pests to
call themselves to call your home theirhome, right right, And again,
you got a surface clean and yougot below the surface guy, and this

(42:49):
is this is where the bug problemcomes in. Yeah, the house might
look clean, it might, butthere are things, for example, on
that that first deep clean one oneof the things that you all are looking
four And what are you attacking?I mean, what are the things that
we may not think of on ourregular daily basis as homes. What we
like to think of is called topdown cleaning. So we're gonna start at
the top where there's all those moldingsup there, that from the ceiling to

(43:10):
the wall where the cobwebs start tobuilds. You cleaned the places that you
can never reach to clean. Andthen we move our way down to the
baseboards, so everything in between,we're gonna dust and clean pictures, furniture
down to the base boards. Andthen you know, we're going to then
with a microfiber system dust get allthat bacteria that's building up in the dust

(43:32):
off the furniture. Uh, thenwe're gonna we do a vacuum upholstery floors,
and then a microfiber three step mopprocess for all your floors. Well,
so we're gonna be able to getall that unseen bacteria that causes illnesses
that could create a mold problem andeliminates allergies and just creates a better wellness

(43:55):
environment for everybody. That's a bigproblem right here, to the allergies.
It is. It is, absolutelyand a lot of that I think probably
maybe I don't know quick if I'mwrong, comes from old absolutely, yeah,
right, we know that's got seriousramifications for a lot of folks,
right, And you don't always seethat though, right, you don't see
it. And you know a lotof times that you know starts in the

(44:16):
showers, one of the most commonplaces, but then it can build up anywhere.
So we use products to at leastkill that mold and keep it maintained.
And you know, I never reallythought of the health and wellness benefits
of a clean home. I reallystarted, you know, getting into some
of the research behind it. Ialways thought having a nice maid service was

(44:37):
just a convenience, but there's justso many benefits to the health and wellness
of your family having a regular cleaningservice. Absolutely. I want to go
back for a second. You mentioneda three step mop process. Yeah,
who, yeah, I know what'sthat all about. Well, we first
have to vacuum and get all theall the dirt and tidbits off the floor,

(44:59):
and then we use a wet mopwith our solution uh to microfiber mop
the floor proprietary. Absolutely, weuse a single microfiber mop reach room,
so we're not going to camp youabsolutely. You know you see those old
the janit or mops where they ringout in the bucket and that cross contaminates.

(45:22):
Would you want that same mop inyour bathroom as in your kitchen,
of course not. So we're goingto change out those mop hits every room
to eliminate any cross contamination. Oncewe then mop the floor with our solutions,
then we'll come back by with anotherdry microfiber mop then then dry that
so there's no streaks, no stickinessresidue, which a lot of I have

(45:44):
a lot of complaints from other cleaningcompanies say, you're my floors are sticky.
What's wrong there? And that's justsimply the cleaning companies not diluting their
products correctly and then not doing thatthird step. It's kind of like,
you know, if you're if yourneighbor's got a lot of weeds in the
yard, you don't want somebody cuttingyour yard with the same alt more they
cut their yard with. Obviously something'swrong there. Gary yeah, so that

(46:07):
again the deep clean you're looking atthings like well, again it's things we
don't normally think about, maybe likethe like the who's that trim up at
the top right there? As such, I'm gonna guess a lot of times
probably spending places like the bathroom ofthe kitchen. That's yeah, absolutely,
bathroom the kitchen. You know, you know, maybe you have to get
into the oven. We haven't cleanedthe oven in a long time. How
about the refrigerator. You know,we always want to hit the inside outside

(46:30):
the microwaves, that's where it getsused the most and splatters and things like
that. We do inside and outevery visit. And uh, you know,
then you've got to disinfect and sanitizeall those surface areas, which you
know, throwing some windecks on orthrowing some you know, some some store
ball cleaning solution doesn't have the dwelltime, which means the product's not sitting

(46:53):
on the surface long enough to killthese scary diseases like covid or you know,
any other kind of virus or bacteria. So our products have a quicker
dwell time, which means we're goingto kill those those bad, harmful things
faster and more effectively than any kindof storeball products, because let's face it,

(47:15):
I mean, none of us arewiping off a countertop and then letting
it sit and sit and sit right, really do what that cleaner could do
before we wipe it back off forexample of that, No, no,
you don't have time. You wouldn'teven think of it if you're using a
mister Clean product. I'm just youknow, pulling one off the shelf.
Sure, you know, it veryconveniently says on the bottle kills ninety nine

(47:36):
point nine percent of bacteria or viruses. What they don't tell you is it
has to sit there wet forever thirtyminutes. You're kidding, Yeah, thirty
minutes. So no one's going toput that on there for thirty seconds exactly.
And that's just that's kind of justmisleading to the consumer. Any other
little uh secret industry insider tips youcan share with when it comes to things

(48:00):
like that, Oh my gosh,I tell you there's you know, I'm
trying to get all all trade secrets. Yeah, but I mean just just
kind of some helpful, you know, do it yourself kind of Yeah,
what's kind of funny from I've kindof created my own home as my little
laboratory where I like to experiment withdifferent products, different cleaning techniques. I
travel the country. I just gotback from Chicago, uh out you know,

(48:21):
meeting with other cleaning professionals, andI lived to tell about it.
The dwell time was short, nobodygot sick. Uh And just learn little
tidbits from professionals around the country more, you know, what, what are
the best products in the line. You know, there's a big debate about
green cleaning versus you know, youknow, are these harmful to my family

(48:44):
using these kind of other solutions thatwouldn't be classified as green, And that's
just not true. We've survived allthese years absolutely green products, right,
yeah, you know, and there'sthis old sayne in the business that green
doesn't clean, and sometimes you're gonnaneed a little something stronger. But we
want to make sure that it's petand family friendly, so we don't use
anything that would be harmful to ourfamilies. So you don't have to worry

(49:07):
about getting kids or pets out ofthe house. Well not absolutely not,
Nope. I'd say we have tomove around a little bit while you're trying
to get the job, but wehave got to banish him to the outdoor.
We have customers that their pets areright there with us. We've got
all kinds that we have. Wehave clients with parrots, dogs, cats,
ferrets, you name it, wedo it. This is a little

(49:30):
touchy, yeah, but I'm sureyou run into the situation, you know,
because you know, we talk abouta clean home and not clean out,
but then you have those homes whereit's bordering on hoarders. Yeah,
which probably you probably don't really getcalled into homes like that with somebody who
maybe keeps their house like that. But I'm supposed that there may be situations

(49:51):
where you go in to clean ahome and there are some impediments like that
and some things you got to workaround. I guess you have to have
that kind of that conversation at apoint with the home. Absolutely, and
that you know, in a truehorder situation that becomes more of a mental
illness. Absolutely that the cleaners needto be trained on how to handle that
situation. It's actually quite common andwe get those calls all the time,

(50:14):
you know. In that kind ofa case, we have to we have
to rely on some of our someof our strategic relationships in the market.
You know, maybe somebody that canhelp haul things out. Maybe maybe we
need a professional organizer to come inand help. And we have all those
experts that we work with, andbecause it's hard for our cleaning companies to

(50:34):
come in if you've got, youknow, ten years of things piled up
in the corner. So we dorely on these other relationships to help help
clients through those issues. You know, these situations where you're not talking about
a horder. But I mentioned myparents early for example. They yeah,
they've been around for a long timenow and always and they've built up stuff

(50:57):
over the years. Really, youknow, I mean, let's just say
clutter. Yeah, you know, sometimes you just have to I guess kind
of have those conversations like we're gonnaget your clean here, but you know,
it could be helpful if we couldkind of do this or do that.
Yeah. We actually have a casetoday with the lady who's a caretaker
for her mother who has unfortunately Alzheimer's, and she's been collecting a lot of

(51:22):
things and she just needs help andshe's like, I don't have time.
I have a full time job.I'm her full time caretaker and can you
please help us? So we're gonnasend a team in to help her kind
of organize and get caught up.She has family coming in next week,
so she's like, I got toget the house in order for visitors.

(51:43):
So we're like, you know what, let's go help her. Sometimes that's
a little bit out of our scoopof work, but we like to try
to get the extra mile to helpclients if we careful. That's beautiful,
all right, So it all startsthe first deep clean, and I think
you want to lay out a specialon this one, don't you. We
are today for all the listeners, any listener of Gary David. We're a

(52:05):
fan of and we want to offera fifty dollars off to anybody that mentions

that. Don't forget it's Gary. You gotta say Gary, Gary, You
gotta say Gary Gary. You knowwe have to say Gary David, Just
