Speaker 1 (00:15):
Yeah, I've heard some countdowns to spring. I think it's
in the air. I mean there was I forget which

But yeah, it's in the air.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Man.

I'm getting getting a little excited myself for spring.

three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three
two one thirteen ten. We'll get you on the air
with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place, and Tim, you
have a little thank you for the folks that take
time out of their mornings to give us a call
and ask a question, don't you.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Absolutely yeah, give a twenty five dollars gift card as
a thank you for your question. Because questions help stimulate
all sorts of growth for people. Good questions lead to
good answers and you get some direction. So if you
have any questions around natural alternatives at work for you
or loved one for something specific, small, medium, or large,
now's a good time to call and you get that
(02:45):
twenty five dollars gift card.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Ring the phone right now. Love to hear from you
six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six
oh eight three two one thirteen ten. Got a couple
of great emails as well to get to this morning,
but real quick, a couple of things, Tim, I did
want to ask you about. Obviously, with the sun out
and a lot of us are remembering what that what
that sunshine is and all the great joy it brings
to our life, things like vitamin D and other vitamins.
(03:08):
Really it's a good reminder to to really be putting
good things in your body to help. And I still
think one of the one of the and it it
seems like a little thing, but you had set it
a couple of years ago when it always stuck with
me when you said, when you're taking a supplement, you
should feel results. And it seems like like that's that's
but for a lot of folks that's and for a
(03:29):
lot of supplements out there that folks may have taken
in the past, they didn't see results. They said, I
just do it because I'm supposed to. You really should
see results. And that's one of the great things about
about getting into the healthy places is quality and really important. UH.
Vitamins and nutrients that you'll actually see results by taking.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah, absolutely, you know that. That's one of my personal
passions in the supplement space. Is is my passion around
it is how amazing it is if you get the
right nutrients in your body what the human body can do,
and if you give the body the right fuel, the
right nutrients, the right forms of nutrients, because that's a
(04:09):
big deal. It makes or breaks an experience. I wanted
to give a shout out to mister Jake. Jake's a
good customer. Came in last week at the High five them,
so Hijake, But we were chatting about this very topic
and it is remarkable to me when you give the
body the right nutrients. Say, somebody has chronic pain and
they have inflammation, which is really the root of pain.
(04:33):
So then you know, all over the web, all over
marketing media, you hear something like, oh, turmeric is good,
the Indian spice good for inflammation. So then you get folks,
you know, taking a spice at home like oh, I'm
taking more turmeric, or they go to you know, a
big box store they get some turmeric. Or then you
get someone that's like, oh, i've heard standardized cer human
(04:54):
that comes out of turmeric with black pepper is better.
So then they take that and you know, the black
pepper enhanced kirkcuman is a little bit better than turmeric,
so it's but it's still in the bloodstream, out of
the bloodstream in two hours with black pepper, so that's
not actually a great option. I mean it helps people,
that's good. But then you get to doctor A Jael
(05:15):
Goule's studies and research out of Baylor University in Texas.
He's been studying BCM ninety five kirkhuman, which again comes
from turmeric for fifteen years in treatment prevention of degenerative disease, cancer, dementia, arthritis,
like some very cool, compelling research, and that BCM ninety
five kirkcumen is standardized kircuminoids. It's sunflower less thin, and
(05:39):
it's turmeric essential oils bound together that creates this thing
called BCM ninety five. So all you need to remember
is those three examples, turmeric kirkcuman with black pepper, and
then BCM ninety five kurkumen is good, better, best, and
when you take the best form of ingredient or delivery
system of ingredient, it can work better. So now you
(06:00):
have folks that tried the termer Act, they're like, maybe
it helped, Maybe it's not. You try folks that had
taken the kurkcuman with black pepper, and they're like, yeah,
this this helped me a bit, This reduced my pain.
And then you have folks take BCM ninety five curcumin
and their results are higher. Still. So in every area
of supplementation, whether we're talking about fish oil, like there's bad, good, better, best.
(06:24):
When it comes to fish oil, a lot of fici
oils out there are totally ramcid, really concerning, but the
FGA doesn't regulate, so there the story goes on. You know, probiotics,
fifty to seventy percent of probiotics get burned up, annihilated,
totally destroyed in your gut before it ever makes it
to your small intestine where it can actually absorb, so
in tear it coating or delayed release form. But the
(06:46):
point is every ingredient, every nutrient that we sell at
the healthy place, there's a good, better, best option for
whether the sourcing is cleaner, better. And I'm not the
only one good health foods or will do that. I mean,
it's just the truth. There's good, better best in every
area of supplementation. I like to remind people that diet
(07:07):
is number one, exercise number two, then supplementation. That's kind
of in that order. And in the supplement space, you
want some intelligence, some education, someone on your team. We
can be that for you at the Healthy Place, or
some get somebody else on your team. That's fine too.
But the point is that is knowledgeable enough that has
the education around supplements, brands of supplements, forms of ingredients
(07:31):
doesn't make us doctors or pharmacists. We have some of
the best in the world here in Madison. We know
supplements in brands, good better best, forms, good better best
that are going to create results because it's all about
getting breakthrough. Our vision statement is end human suffering, increase
quality of life. Like if we're doing that, then then
we're finding solutions for our community that are working. So
(07:51):
that's my encouragement.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
That's and it's such a great that you mentioned. Of course,
there's obviously a lot of very smart people here. There's
obviously a lot of people here in Madison and County
that are concerned also with their health's that's one of
the nice things about the Healthy Place as well is
the convenience whether you get into the West side Fitchburg
er Sun Prairie location, they would love to see you
just calm on and start that.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Yeah, you know, we fan their flame. It's like it's
like what we call it the healthy place, and we
call our website find your Healthyplace dot com because we
believe in helping people find their healthy place, not what
Becky and I might think is a healthy place. Everyone's
a little bit different. So we like how I look
(08:31):
at it is we like to fan the flame of
their pursuit on health, their quality of life, like what
does the fullness of life look like for them? And
usually it starts with some sort of chronic issue, something
that is bugging them. You know, could be an earache,
could be a lung health, could be immune system. But
that's a good starting place. So if you have something
(08:53):
that bugs you in your health, that's exactly the trigger
to be like what natural alternative can help that? And
doesn't even mean you buy it, It means you know
about it. So then as you journey through life, you
can be empowered and educated enough to say, hey, you know,
I have this solution we can try. It doesn't mean
it always works. Everyone's different, But the point is that
you're actively aware of what's degrading your life, damaging your
(09:18):
life in the area of health in this case, and
you're actively pursuing answers. And that's what our team does
every day. And it's it's really rewarding. And if you
get to, you get to you get to you know,
break into this person's life by asking them five to
six questions. You know, they come in, Hey, I got
some arthritis? Oh cool? How long is that? I mean
not cool? How long has this been bugging you? How
(09:38):
bad is the pain? You know? What have you tried
that has worked? What have you tried that has not worked?
That's an example of some questions we ask you and
that gains us a better, better clarity direction.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah, and it's a great week to tim and I
feel I should have mentioned this right way. It's a
great week to get into a healthy place because correct
me if I if I'm wrong.

(11:34):
the air with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Hey, good morning, Kathy.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Good morning. It's Jackie.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Oh Jackie. I apoligize, that's on me, patter, Sorry, love
the name Jackie.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
How can I help you? Jackie? Okay?
Speaker 3 (11:49):
I know this on my blood test that my red
blood sales are low? Is there any way of increasing that?
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Great questions? So liver fractions. You know I can't interpret
blood tests, you know, not being a doctor myself so
you know, be aware of that. I love liver fractions
for improving blood red cells and iron levels in the body.
And have you had your iron or ferretin tested? Did
you see that back in the test? By chance?
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Yes, iron is right where it's supposed to be, and
at my age, you have to be careful so you
don't get it too high.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah, yep. Did you check your ferretin or was that
on the test as well?
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yes? Yeah, I just said it was on there and
I'm right where I supposed to be.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Oh good. Yeah, iron and faretin are a little bit different,
like pretty often folks, iron will be high, but ferretin
can be low, so that can vary a little bit.
But liver fractions. I like liver fractions because it's such
a whole food form. You know, people, most people know
the health benefits of liver, but the taste, you know,
kind of keeps people away from eating it as a
part of their diet. So supplementing with liver fractions has
(12:55):
been a good approach to this for a lot of
my customers over the years. That's been helpful.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Okay, he's at the name of the products.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Then you have yeah, yep. The brand is Terry naturally
and he's one of my heroes, the owner of that company,
Terry Lamaran. He's up out of Dream Bay and he
has a liver fractions product two capsules a day that
has been quite help and people, is your energy a
little bit low? Have you noticed her?
Speaker 3 (13:21):
No, it's usually up there pretty good. Once while it does,
but most of the time know it's where it should be.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Okay, okay, yeah, I would encourage that and maybe uh
report back if you get a chance. My email is
is Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com. I
love to kind of go on the journey with folks
and be a resource if I can.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Jackie, great question, great call this morning. Sounds like she's
got a lot of energy. Yes, that is so cool
to here. Let's go to Dennis. Dennis, welcome with the program.
You're on the air with Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Good morning and gentlemen, Good morning, Good morning. How are you.
I'm good. Can I have a question about pre diabetes
if there's any supplement that can kind of help to
reverse or contain that. I really like this conversation because
both in your diet you can do things with your
(14:14):
question today in the world of supplements, you can also
do things. And so we're currently advertising a product called
Sue Controlled D, Sue Controlled D. It's s U C
O N t R L, kind of like sugar control
Sue Control D. And that has Hintonia, which is an
herb that's been used in Europe's medical system for like
(14:37):
forty years. It's from Central America, South America source from
and it balances glucose levels, A n C levels, your
carbohydrate metabulism. A lot of folks take it to lose
a few pounds as well, because when you get all
that balance, you tend to lose a little bit of weight.
Folks are trying that instead of drugs like ozepic and
(15:00):
uh Super Control D has been a top seller for us.
In the conversation of pre diabetes, a second product called
Glucose Control by Evergreen. When folks are really wanting to
double team the pre diabetes because that can be concerning.
You know, when you have pre diabetes, it means your
nerves on some level are dying. Like it's a negative,
(15:21):
and you don't want that. So folks will sometimes double
team it with glucose Control, which has your your cinnamon,
your your chromium your alfhaopoic acid, which converts glucose into
energy balance in those insulin levels. So between those two products, Uh,
that has been a knockout punch for folks. You could
even take both for a few months.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
You know, I don't know how often you kind of
test your blood, but you could. You could take it
for a period of time and see the improvement pretty rapidly.
It's like in the first week you can see the results.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Hope.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Thank you, Thank you, Dennis.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Yeah, yeah, shoot shoot me Yuh, if you think of Dennis,
shoot me a email to Tim at find your Healthy
Place dot com. I can get you a couple of
links to make sure we're on the same page, or
pop in one of our stores. Bring up the question.
This is a conversation we probably have two three dozen
times a day with our community.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Fantastic question, Dennis. Thank you so much, both Dennis and Jackie.
And I apologize. I may surprise you, Tim, but there
are times where I quickly grabbed the phone and say
what you want about it?
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yeah, you don't always catch it all, but a really
good question.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
You know.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
This morning I called Becky, my wife. Yeah, the wrong
name on our date. We had amazing night, you know,
and I her name's Becky, and I said, you know,
have a great, great night Alice. She said, excuse me,
so that's my i' I have officially outdone you there.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
You know what you should on your guys's fortieth or
fiftieth put a make a T shirt that says have
a great night night Alice.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Yeah. Oh but she still took me. She still took me.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Oh you got you are a lucky lucky many real
quick too. Is I mentioned before the break and we
haven't talked about it yet. This morning Pineapple Express and
I the number of people and it's I'm not surprised
anymore when people come to me and start telling me
about all the great experiences and all the great things
at the healthy place Pineapple Express. I've had a number
(17:23):
of people like, oh my gosh, this is this is
absolutely perfect for me. Let's talk about what Pineapple Express is.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
And it's pretty cool, dude. So in general, like I
have been shocked to find that most of what's legal
in other states for marijuana can indeed be recreated using
hemp derived material. So most of us know that there's
marijuana plant, there's hemp plants, so those are both cannabis,
(17:49):
but they're different crops. And what's legal in Wisconsin is hemp.
So you can build at nearly everything. I haven't stumbled
across something yet, but what's in the maana space you
can recreate in the hemp space. So Pineapple Express is
a long loved strain of marijuana that helps with stressed
(18:11):
reduction specifically, and it has been grown for that like
the very specific cannabinoid profile, the CBC, the CBD, the THCHC,
the CBDA, the cannabinoid profile. In addition, the terpene profile
is very specific when it comes to how it's grown
(18:32):
in nature, the Pineapple Express strain. So we have deconstructed
the components of Pineapple Express, the cannabinoids, the terpene ratio,
the live resin approach, and reconstructed it using hemp drive material.
We work with manufacturers here in Wisconsin and source from
the Driffleis region for a hemp This Pineapple Express and
(18:55):
the ACDC strain for chronic pain we have as well.
So those two, like you said, they have been top sellers.
I've been impressed with their results. In the beginning, I
didn't know if that was more of a you know,
is this actually gonna do more than our some of
the CBD THHD products that we've already created, Like I
didn't know. I'm not a scientist, you know, I haven't
so once the Pineapple Express for stress and the ACDC
(19:20):
for pain, save the drive. You know, folks are driving
out of state to grab this stuff. Save the drive,
Save the thirty eight percent tax. You know, I found
out the Illinois thirty eight percent tax. Save the drive,
Save the tax. Try Pineapple Express or ACDC Chronic Pain
for ACDC stress for for Pineapple Express. And then next
(19:42):
month we're coming out with BlackBerry cush, which is for sleep.
Same idea that deconstructed reconstructed marijuana strain for sleep health
high indica levels, which is like there's indiccolor's tativa. But anyway,
twenty percent off all this week. It's a good time
to try some of these things. If you've been suffering
in some sort of way, you're quality life or you
were a loved one, you know, find a natural alternative
(20:04):
that works for you. That's the whole idea. At least
gain some of the education, and we're here for that.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Doci's Morning with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place. It's
great day to start that conversation, great day to get
on in, whether it's the West side Fitchburg or sun
Prairie location of the Healthy Place. Don't forget, of course,
wellness consultants standing by at all three locations for you,
as well as online and find your Healthy Place dot Com.
But don't forget it's a Wednesday. That means Tim is
at the Fitchburg store from ten until five on Wednesdays.
(20:31):
I'd love to see it, love to give you that
high five, love to start that conversation with you again.
Get on in today. Don't forget the website Find your
Healthy Place dot com, Facebook, social media including Instagram and
YouTube at find your Underscore Healthy Place and Tim, I
got a couple of minutes here. I just want to
really quickly mention it. Of course, you talked about you
and Becky your first date, and it's an interesting story
(20:52):
about how the Healthy Place came to be. In that
that it's it's passion, but it's personal as well. There
is there is a very personal story to why you
and Becky decided to start the Healthy Place, isn't there?
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Yeah? You know, I mean Life's a gift, Health's a gift.
They're both worth fighting for. I think that's something that
sort of resonates with people. And both Becky and I
our moms went through and have gone through significant health challenges.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
You know.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
For my mom it was cancer and someone recommended her
to go check out this health food store in Muskego, Wisconsin,
that there was a guy there named John that was
educated in natural alternatives, has been doing it for a
long time and has helped many, many people. So this
recommendation was made. My mom goes to this store, I
(21:42):
was like five or six years old, and her report
on that experience was that it was many aha moments,
many mini breakthroughs, and that this set of supplements impacted
her life maybe say her life, she would say, but
at least helped dramatically minimize a lot of the symptoms
(22:04):
from chemotherapy, radiation, fatigue, chemo brain helped battle the cancer
stem cells with nutrients like grape seed extract, Like a
lot of science behind that in reducing cancer stem cells.
Nutrients like curcumin. That good amount of evidence saying hey
reduces the inflammation related to cancer. Glued to thione because
(22:25):
when somebody has cancer, they have a deficiency of glue
to thione in their liver like period like every time
somebody has cancer, deficiency of glue tothione. So there's these
Her life was changed through that. So in this process
she she's like, I want to I want to do
this for my career, my living. So she became a
manager at this location. Us kids were homeschooled. Five kids,
(22:45):
we were homeschooled. We'd go with mom to this health
food store Misquigo, Wisconsin, sit in the back room doing
our studies, and we'd watch these testimonies. My mom Tanya
taking folks by the hand, walking them through some education
process around something natural alternatives that have helped her, have
helped other customers in her community, et cetera. And so
that is something I grew up with and Becky has
(23:08):
kind of a similar different story. So when we came
together building the healthy Place, you know, it's really out
of of passion to make a difference, you know, introduce knowledge,
because folks just don't know what they don't know, and
so they're not aware that there's an alternative to the
(23:30):
drugs that are causing significant side effects or damaging their body.
They're not aware that there's a natural alternative before getting
a surgery like a gallbladder removed or thyroid removed, or
before the surgery. A lot of times there's like, oh really,
and we'll see that all the time, and then we'll
get the journey with people, you know. So all of
(23:51):
that has culminated in this sort of passion that Becky
and I have to bring a difference. And now I'll
be honest, I'm a little frustrated after fifteen years. So
I'm like, how much have we really moved the needle
when it comes to people suffering in Dane County? You know,
I know we got testimonies, you know, hundreds of them,
which I'm real thankful for, So I'm not minimizing that.
(24:12):
I'm like, how big scale, how much have we reduced
the suffering in Dane County? How much have we increased
life expectancy or reduced total pharmaceutical drug intake or total
amount of surgeries? Like people are suffering like everywhere I
look still. So now Becky and I are like, how
can we actually move the needle? How can we in
that position ourselves in the next ten years to get
(24:37):
our arms wrapped around link arms with one hundred other
businesses that are fighting for the health and empowerment and
education and impact of our community in the area of
their health, life, quality of life. So that's what we're
hard at work on over here. That's what we talk
about every day, and I hope that inspires and encourages somebody.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Amazing work done, more to do. And it's a great
