Speaker 1 (00:02):
What a morning. What mister Brian, how we do it
pretty good?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Just talking with my buddy bow Buddy, Bow buddy, bro.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
I think.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
It's awesome.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, it's chilli. You know, the roads are a little sloppy.
I was sending sending a note to the missus because
she's driving out to Prairie Machine today and the roads
are a little sloppy out there.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
So can you still have your jeep? No?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
No, but thanks for bringing that up. I had a
baby number on the way, and you know, I'm like,
I should probably go back to the mini van. Yeah,
but I had four years, dude, of driving what I
believe to be the coolest vehicle, and it was a
lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
When it lasted.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
That was you should have maybe put it in as
like a delivery vehicles company.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
I was in COVID. Funny, you should bring that out
with the deliveries. The plan was to get five bright
green Rubicon Jeeps and just get him like all cool
decked out with the healthy place and then and you
know we didn't.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
But no, the mini fans are you've got I've seen
your vide van. You've got a night I love those.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Comfy it's my third office you know, you got, Yeah,
it's warm, you get. I don't have the heat warmer,
but maybe the next model next.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Speaking of speaking of really cool things and great opportunities
and tim traveling around town, of course, got the three
healthy Place clinics right here in Madison for youa West
siut of Madison, Fitchburg and Sun Prairie. Today is Wednesday.
What does that mean? That means between ten and five
mister O'Brien.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
And doctor Bradley Fitchburg store.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Today is doctor Bradley there each day?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I have? Yeah, so he's at the Fitchburg store full time. No,
he's working, you know, forty hours a week over there.
And I'm encouraging the community sean to call the Fitchburg store,
to stop by the Fitchburg store. It's pretty rare to
have a functional medicine doctor like in our retail stores.
So I'm just pumped about that. And of course you
know you uh talk about it every week, But we
hired doctor Bradley as one of four practitioners for our
(02:00):
Foundational Care clinic that's opening. January twentieth is the new
date we're saying, and I could not be more excited
about that.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
I want to talk with you about that as we
as we get into a little bit about the Holistic Clinic,
the Healthy Place Holistic Clinic, We're going.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
To get into that just a moment.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Speaking of the clinic though, the website the Healthyplaceclinic dot com.
That's the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. Tim mentioned in the
new year. Of course the clinic will be taking patients in.
You can book though right now, yeahg a book.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
I'm just like feeling this sense of urgency, Sean, because
I talk to the community every day and you know,
often there's you know, something going on under the hood,
and that might be something they're working with their medical
doctor around, say it's high blood pressure, cholesterol, you know, crones,
diverticky litis, inflammation issues, and they're sort of.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
At a dead end.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
And I get to talk to these people every day
and it's sort of why Becky and I are creating
the clinic, the Foundational Care Clinic, because it's not replacing
primary care, it's not replacing acute care. We have some
of the best in the world there and this is
foundational care. So this is getting to the root of
the issues when people have a health challenge, like just
just pick on me for a minute, like asthma. I
(03:06):
might have that asthma sort of mitigated and under control
with my diet and with maybe bututerol for that fast
acting inhaler, and maybe I'm taking some Bosuelia which targets
the five locks inflammation and the lungs. And I love
supplements when it comes to asthma because there's things you
can really move the needle on. So if you have asthma,
like like ask like ask that question, like what is
(03:28):
good for asthma, because you can really make some breakthrough.
I grew up with this and I'm still battling it.
You know, I'm forty one and it's been a lifelong battle.
Twice a year, you know, I bust out the nebulizer
because you know out spring fall is pretty tough in Wisconsin,
and you know, it's it's a perpetual issue. You know,
when I chase my kids around sometimes it'll hit me like,
oh I can't really, you know. And so then to
(03:49):
get to the root of that issue for me would
be me like I go make an appointment. I go
to the healthplace clinic dot com booking an appointment in
five minutes. I know, up front it's gonna cost me
too hundred bucks to go through this intake. I receive
an email. I fill out my history as much info
as I can because more info data driven. It's personalized
to you for the practitioner to digest and be ready
(04:11):
for the day of your appointment. So say I go
in January twentieth, I filled out on my history. I
might choose my top three concerns, which for me might
be like gut, asthma and skin because I have some
autoimmune battles really all my life, between the asthma and
lime earlier on and skin conditions. So now that doctor
is ready for me, this functional medicine doctor or license
(04:32):
natural path and we have a nurse practitioner functional medicine
doctor as well, So you meet with one of those
great doctors and you get aligned with the doctor that's
best for your specific needs. You know, the nurse practitioner
specializes in gastro intestinal, so I'll be talking to her
at some point, and then in forty five minutes, I
receive this battle plan. And the battle plan, Sean, is
what I'm most excited about because it's what's been missing.
(04:53):
And so I talk to customers every day and I
get goosebumps like every time I say it, because it's
a tiny bit emotional and a tiny bit frustrating for
me in the sense of, like I talk to these
people and Helga is the one I bring up because
I love Halga. Yes, and you know, she's she's she's
battling health, chronic health issues. You know, for years, years
and years, our team have cared for her, and she
(05:14):
she hasn't been sort of getting to the root of
her issues. You know, talk to another person, you know,
insomnia for fifteen years, Like we've treated some of the
issues with supplements, but let's get to the root of it.
And they're missing that battle plant. But that battle plan, Sean,
So by the end of this appointment, you have a
freaking plan, and you might modify the plan. You might
curate it to what matches, like what resonates with you,
(05:35):
because you're the best doctor in the room when it
comes to your own body. You're the CEO of your
own health, and we want to equip you with that
battle plan to put in your back pocket. And there
may or may not be ivs connected to that lab work,
supplements or follow up appointments, and those are like the
four outcomes that could be on your battle plan to
consistently drive forward the biomarkers that are important to you
(05:55):
in your life. So I'm like, book the appointment, get
the battle plans. Two hundred bucks can do that. Now
it's still January booking, and I'm just ready to start
helping people Sean in a deeper way. Get into the
root of these issues that have just bugged me for years.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Get in, get booked right now.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
I got to do his head on over to the website,
the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. That's the Healthyplaceclinic dot com
right at the top there you can learn more, but
you can also book an appointment right online. The Healthy
Place Clinic. Patients will be coming in the doors starting
in the new year. Now it's all to Fitchburg Store.
Like I said, doctor Bradley's there like full time. If
you need help making a booking or you have questions
(06:30):
like what is this foundational care clinic that Tim's talking
about on the radio, call the Fitchburg store.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
If you're not able to get to doctor Bradley, leave
your name. He'll call you back. This is a month
here that we have him still in the store. So
take advantage of it. It's like, I'm so happy to
be able to gift this to our community. People are
coming in Sean too for just hours of conversations with
the guy because you just don't have a doctor just
waiting for questions all day, forty hours a week. So
he's been helping a ton of people and it's been
a lot of fun.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
One of the things I hope people picked up on
two is we're not talking about a replacement for primary care.
We're talking out in an enhancement for and you think
about for folks that have been in to see the
primary care doctor, the feeling you have when you leave
going I wish we could have done more.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
That's what this is. This is. Then the more is,
you know, I talk to.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Our amazing mds two every day, you know, just just
talking to them in the community, and they're greatly you know,
I have one myself, and you know he's been tremendously
helpful to me. So it's like not replacing primary care.
It's not replacing acute or emergency care. You know, we
have some of the best like the Children's hospital and
emergency care in medicine. This is foundational care. So it's
using cutting edge diagnostics like life changing modalities. There's a
(07:36):
laser that my mother in law had elbow pain and
for literally a year without any help from from any
of the natural treatments that she sought. And this this
laser one treatment, this is like five minutes made it
better for two weeks. So it's just stuff like that
I'm learning about Sean that I'm like for my mom.
I mean, talk about a good Christmas present, right, the kids.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Just gave it a laser. But that's the point.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
I use cutting edge diagnostics. So the goal is, like
one goal is to be on the cutting edge because
I Beckon and I learned that once there is a
like a modality or a treatment that works, it takes
something like seventeen years for it to fully get integrated
in the medical system. So I've been learning about all
(08:20):
these cutting edge tools, modalities, diagnostics like the Vo two
bike and mask, and just the amount of cutting edge
material that can help our community right now that I
can't wait seventeen years for, like HEWGA, can't wait seventeen
years for exact.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
Exactly it's here, It's now on a great day to
make that appointment right off the website.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Get booked right now, Like.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Book an appointment takes five minutes. Like for those that
have something that's that's under the hood, yes, like don't
be if it's blood pressure, like, okay, you might have it,
taking care of that, But what's going on under the
hood that's leading to unique eating meds for blood pressure medication,
or that's needing supplements even for blood pressure, Like what
if there's something at the root that's like an engine
(09:08):
that's negatively impacting your body. That's like the glucose conversation.
There's two floodgates, and the higher you're faceted glucose levels
are at over the years, in the decades, it creeps
up on all of us, and if you're not keeping
an eye on it, every time it goes up, the
two floodgates open a little more. One floodgate's inflammation, which
is the root of all degenerative disease, and the other
floodgate is browning or oxidative stress, which is like take
(09:31):
a bite of an apple turn brown. That's happening inside
and out. So if you want to slow those two things,
which we all do, then you have to know where
you're at. And the only way to know where you're
at is to get some sort of lab work done
to see what's going on internally, Like get a glucose test.
If nothing else, I tell people, get a glucose test,
find out how often, or get a continual glucose monitor,
(09:52):
Like you gotta find that out because that's the one
KPI that will absolutely wreck your health if you don't
know about it.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
What's KPI?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Key performance indicator? That took me a second do. I
was like, what is a KPI? This is early sean.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
I was running for that one.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
I like, wait, wait, wait, after I thought we were
doing a financial should I know?
Speaker 2 (10:13):
And then you asked it, and I'm like, what is
a KPI?
Speaker 4 (10:17):
It's important as we have all these other tools too,
And that's great that you mentioned that, is that we've
got all these different major tools, but we're not using
them yet.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Phone calls. We've got Matthew checking in this morning, a
question about castor oil. Matt what, Welcome to the show, Matt.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
How you doing? Oh?
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Pretty good? How you doing?
Speaker 2 (10:33):
I'm doing pretty good? And I'm kind of chuckling because
I literally, I mean, I was kind of open about
my skin troubles and I literally put castor oil on
my hands this morning before I left. So I'm like, Matthew,
castor oil, this is meant to be what's up? Well?
Speaker 3 (10:47):
See I also looked up pastor oil. This has a
tremendous amount of uses. But you can do it like
an uh past or whatever and then put it on
your back and like on your chest or whatever, and
that helps to pull out all the nasty stuff out
of your body. It's like if you have deep problems,
(11:13):
it helps with that. I mean, castor oil is something
that's been used for centuries.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
You know, digestive support, liver, lymphatic, hormonal, fertility, skin here,
you know, joint muscle. And then for me it just
this uh you know, psiriasis egzma thing. For me, it's
really helped with some of those deeper cracks that can
happen in your fingers. For those that experience that in
the wintertime, little castor oil on there and put some
(11:40):
wool mittens on. The kids make fun of me, but
you know, I do what I gotta do.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Yeah, keeps keeps your getting nice.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Yeah, thanks Matthew. You say, how go? I think I
recognize your voice is a son.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Look at and also it's also looks for growing here too.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Hey, Sean and I both need that check it out.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Matthew beg you to the questions. I love the insight too.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
I want to ask you a little bit more about
as we as we talk about the Healthy Place clinic
opening in the new year, you can book right now,
head on over to the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. Talk
a little bit about what goes into preparation and of
course that that consultation and of course the battle plan.
Will get more details from Tim.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Just get the get the battle plan. That's what I
want the community to have more than anything. It's like
after that is up to you, but I just want
the community to have a battle plan.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
You get that, you get that stuff that all that
when you go see your regular doctor you really wish
you got, You're gonna get here. We get those details
from Tim. We will do that next as ask the
experts with the Healthy Place continues right here on thirteen
ten doubleu ib I eight fifty one thirteen ten wi
b A. Someday we'll do a show up what we
talk about off the air and a lot of great information,
(12:48):
a lot of.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Now we just gotta tell them. Were talking about property.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Property you know you're getting old when you're a couple
of guys sip and coffee talking about properties.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
We've a crossed the line.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
Yes, Tim O'Brian from the Healthy Place joining us this morning.
Of course, the Healthy Place Clinic opening in the new year.
Now is the time to book that appointment. Just two
hundred dollars. So I get to do is adding over
to the Healthy placeclinic dot com. That's the Healthy Placeclinic
dot com. Super easy to learn more about the Healthy
Place Clinic. But now is the day to book, and
let's talk about that process that I registered a it's
(13:23):
a couple of weeks ago, probably a month ago. Now
super easy. It's super fast to just get your information
put in and set up an account.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Where's it go from there?
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Then?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Tim, Yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
You go online the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. You know,
you click the book. Now you fill out like you said,
it takes like five minutes and then you have to
verify your email. After that you'll receive an email saying, hey,
like fill out your history more.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
The better.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
The more I chat with these practitioners, the more they're like, hey,
the more personalized data we can have before the appointment.
The more we can collaborate because this is all collaborative care.
So if you get one doctor, you get all four,
so they're all working together on a daily basis, but
also a weekly basis. We have a parking spot for
the four of them to sit down along with our
(14:10):
ends actually too and just practice true integrative medicine. And
so you will show up to your appointment, you know,
on or after January twentieth, and it's a forty five
minute or a ninety minute, so those will be the
two options for you. And you know, forty five minute
is what I'm saying, like, just get the battle plan.
It's two hundred bucks. Just get the battle plan. By
(14:30):
the end of this forty five minutes, you will have
a full battle plan of like what and how and
what next steps. And then you can put that battle
plan in your back pocket. And that battle plan might
have you know, Sean might for Shawney boy here over here,
I might have IVS Labs supplement recommendations and or follow
(14:51):
ups appointments to make sure that he's staying on track
and moving towards his goals that he set out right,
So it's like that accountability piece as well. But you
can you know, choose all the cart like what do
you want to do? Like what resonates with you? Like
that's really what we want to do here is like
empower you give you the tools, give you the path,
give you a battle plan that you can modify or
(15:12):
curate to you, talk with your your group that's around you.
Like the point is get the battle plan. The ninety
minute is obviously better, but it's like twice the cost,
so you're closer to that four hundred dollars mark for
a ninety minute. It's obviously better. I'm not really trying
to sell that though, because it's like get the battle plan.
That's what I am just believing. Get the battle plan.
You can figure it out from there. Like money does
(15:33):
not grow on trees. All this stuff gets really expensive.
So two hundred dollars is something you can quantify. It's
it's like two hundred bucks. You get that, you have
the battle plan. Now you can use that battle plan
in so many ways. So just book book the appointment.
If you have something under the hood that has like
hey this is fine. You know I had talked to
a lady last week that you know, she was like, hey,
(15:53):
I'm quite healthy. My doctor says, I'm great, And at
the end of this half an hour conversation there was
high blood pressure concerns, which even if that is lowered,
there's still something under there's a root of the problem
there that's really damaging your body. And to get to
the root of that is an option for you, Like,
this is an option. Make an appointment. It's two hundred
bucks and then you could get to the route or
at least have a plan or more education around like
(16:15):
how this high blood pressure thing is damaging your body
and damaging your longevity and quality of life.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
It all starts with the of course, that appointment booking
it right online the Healthy placeclinic dot com. That's Thehealthy
Placeclinic dot com. And really this tim for folks that
don't know the background, I know we kind of hinted
to it here and there on the show. This is
something it's a very natural step in the progress of
the Healthy Place and got a listen to clinic. Yeah,
you guys have been working on this though for a very.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Real Becky, I were like, when did we first think
about this? And we think we pinpointed twenty sixteen. Oh wow, yeah,
because like whether you're a chiropractor, you know. And I
don't know if this is like a big statement, you know,
to make. So I'm not trying to make a big
statement like chiropractor, a supplement store owner like me, you know,
or an MD that's that's sort of in the system.
I was talking to an MD last that, you know,
(17:00):
just sort of like, man, I wish I had more time,
wish with my patients, like I wish I could do
more of what I know I could do to help them.
And it just sort of tears me up every day.
And that's the kind of how I felt. And a
couple chiropractors I've talked to, you know, you just start
to get this feeling of man, you know, I know
that there's more that I could do to help this person.
We're not getting to the root. Like I've been helping
(17:21):
this person for ten years. They still have insomnia, they
still have high blood pressure, they still have asthma, they
still have egzma, they still have migraines. And I have
a name and a face for every word I just said,
and it starts to get discouraging, Sean. And so at
this point, like it's been this growing, gnawing, upsetting frustrating.
You know, we just celebrated fifteen years and I'm like
(17:41):
so grateful for the good work we've done in Madison,
and I hope it keeps growing and I plan to
and like the next step, as you say, it's like, well,
what is the next step? What's our mission? It's to
impact and power and educate every customer to learn, grow,
create this lifelong fundation of health and wellness. So if
that's the goal, then supplements is just a part of that.
You need to get the bigger circle. You need to
get to their whole health, their history, their genetics, their DNA,
(18:05):
like figure out where these biomarkers are, and then with
them as the leader of their own health, them as
the CEO of their own health, the best doctor in
the room when it comes to their own body. Patient
driven care. It's all about you, Like it's a support system,
accountability system that sets you up for success. And it's
what's been missing, Like people have great primary care and
(18:26):
great acute care, they do not have foundational care. It's missing.
And Becky and I are like, we are obligated to
bring this because we have the tools. We have the community,
Like you should see how this team has come together.
There's a story with each name on our team, Megan
and Elise, and Brooke and Andrea, and Ashley and Bradley. Like,
I'm just beside myself with how the team has come together,
(18:49):
because that's the hardest part. It's like you take a
step of faith, you know, you figure out the finances
and it's like, well, I hope the team comes together
because that's kind of the most important part if we
want to be able to care for this community. Rightly,
we've done it and it's January twentieth. Go book an appointment,
do it right now. Get that battle plan. Just get
the battle plan, put it in your back pocket. It
is a great day to do that. I could just
(19:09):
set it better myself. Had a chance to meet doctor
Ashley the other week. Obviously we have folks that have
been listening to the program for a while. Definitely got
to know doctor Bradley as well. Great day to make
the appointment.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
Now is the time get online Thehealthyplaceclinic dot com. That's
Thehealthyplaceclinic dot com. Book right now again. The clinic will
be up and running in the new year. Now is
the time to book that appointment at Thehealthy placeclinic dot com.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Tim, It's always great seeing you of my friend. You
enjoy this.
Speaker 4 (19:32):

at the Healthy Place again right in Fish.
Speaker 2 (19:37):

the Fittsburgh store today and sold doctor Bradley. So come
on buy you the five.
Speaker 4 (19:43):

here on thirteen ten.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Wive you
