thirteen ten. We'll get you right on the air with
Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place and Tim for folks
to take the time to call in. Not only is
a great conversation, start a really good important conversation. Give
a little thank you for taking the time out of
(01:05):
the day to talk too.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Don't check you're new twenty five dollars gift card as
a thank you for calling in. I love question Sean,
because questions can guide somebody towards some answers that are
helpful to their life. So small, medium, large health battle
that you have condition struggle that for you are a
loved one. Now's a good time to call. Also, Tim
at find your Healthy Place dot Com is always a
(01:27):
good email to use. I love helping folks all day long.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Got a couple of fantastic emails and a great opportunity
right now to get on there. I'd love to hear
from you. Six h eight three two one thirteen ten.
That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten before
we get to the calls, and we'll also get to
the emails. So asking you about some of your different
products at the Healthy Place, and one of the things
that I've really loved, Tim and getting to getting to
know you over the years and learning more about all
(01:52):
the stuff that's going on at the Healthy Place. Is
there such a wide variety of products, and I'd asked
you about one Charlotte's Way, and I said, Tim, how
long have you had this? And you guys have had
We talk about different different applications for CBD and THC
and and all that stuff. You guys really do have
and have worked really hard over the years to make
(02:14):
sure that you have really the right product for the
right person, don't you.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Thank you? Thank you? Yeah, super super proud to have
around two hundred brands in our stores and online, and
that you know equates to maybe thirty five hundred to
four thousand total products. Different stores have a little bit
different numbers. The corest part of that to me is
through that, you know, we have our own brands Lively,
(02:39):
Vitamin Co and Wild Theory, and that maybe accounts for
sixty total products between those two brands. So we have
literally thousands of other products and brands that are more
appropriate for people than say, our own brands. And that's
that's the the integrity side of what Becky and I
have wanted to sustain. As you grow as a company,
(03:02):
you can move kind of towards a dollar driven mission
or sort of a people driven mission, and so the
goal has always been governing that mission statement of impact
empower and educate every customer to learn, grow and create
this lifelong foundation of health and wellness. And whatever is
(03:24):
best for that customer in that moment is what is
vital for our wellness consultants to communicate. So we did.
We were intentional around that. You know, we don't want
to do a commission structure. For example, we could put
commission on our own products because there's a better margin
and it can be better for our company's financial health
(03:44):
if we promote those items first, and we didn't want
to have a commission on our brands because we don't
want this distraction when it comes to people's health. If
someone needs Valerian Route a learn versus Lively vitamin cod
snooze fest, we want to recommend that Valerian route. And
I think that's what has built our company over the
(04:06):
years to be trusted in the community a bit and
a little bit different than sort of like the mass
market health food stores that people are sort of used
to with with the youngster getting the two dollars commission
on a you know, hydroxycut or whatever. And you know,
it's something to be aware of, and you know, in general,
teaching training. Our team. You know, we just met yesterday
with our wellness consultant team. Every other Tuesday, we gather
(04:29):
over at our office in Fitchburg with our wellness consultant
team and talk through how are things going with the community,
what are the areas that we're sort of stuck in,
and how can we be more successful, more strategic in
advancing the community's education around natural alternatives that work. So
the whole sort of like system and activity system that
(04:51):
we've created is around the you know, souls versus sales.
You know, first help them ask questions, figure out where
we're going, where we've been, if we're suffering quality of life,
discover some of those things, and then make recommendations out
of that place. And I think that's where we get
these beautiful testimonies online. If you ever want to check
(05:11):
the Google review every I'm down, Sean, I'll just like
look through my Google reviews, Like what the difference a
sort of making in the community. And yeah, so thanks
for pointing that out.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
It's really amazing. And you talk about the impact on
the community and folks and for people that have had
a chance to stop into the healthy place. You mentioned
some of the other places that are like commission based,
and sometimes you feel a lot of pressure. You kind
of feel like almost like a predator prey, like I
don't know about you. I'd walk into those places in
the mall and I could hear like the Jaws theme
of somebody like lurking around, they're following me. But then I,
(05:45):
you know, I come and see you and your crew
at the Healthy Place, and what a different experience. It
is very happy people that are like they're more like,
let's talk about education and really trying to help people.
That's one of the great experiences that you guys put
together at the Healthy Places. A great up ortunity for you,
A great day to get on in whether it's West
side of Madison sun Prayer or the Fitchburg location of
the Healthy Place. Don't forget on Wednesdays, that's today. Tim
(06:07):
hangs out at Fitchburg location from ten until five speaking
of hey out, oh go ahead.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Saying come on, come on, stop at Fitchburg Store ten
to five, drop by for a high five or health consultation.
Love giving those out all day.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Great opportunity for that. Also, great opportunity if you're in
the car now or maybe sitting at the office. Got
a question love to hear from this morning? Six soh
eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight
three two one thirteen ten. Gets you right on the
air with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place. As mentioned.
Another way to reach Tim is via email Tim at
find your Healthy Place dot com. That's Tim tim at
(06:39):
find your Healthy Place dot com. And Lisa took the
time to write and she says, what's the best natural
supplement to help me sleep better without feeling groggy? And
that emails from Lisa.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yeah, Lisa, such a good question. I like to find
out how much folks are suffering first, so you know,
not knowing your situation. Falling asleep, staying asleep, and deeper
sleep are like the three components of a healthy night's sleep,
and folks will sort of battle different aspects of those
(07:13):
sleep segments, if you will. So. I love a product
called stratup PM. We sell. It's a cbd cbn small
amount of THHC about two point five milligrams of THHC.
That's stratup PM, and it's a gummy It tastes good,
but the thirty milligrams of CBD combined with the most
(07:35):
studied cannabinoid for sleep is actually CBN, so you get
a full fifteen milligrams of CBN, which is high. Most
products that have CBN will have a very small amount
because it's not exaggerating it. It's twenty times the cost
per miligram than CBD is So CBN in itself is
(07:55):
very expensive, very helpful for the sleep journey. And then
a little bit of THHC in there it helps that
kind of calm down, that sense of well being, So
that's product one. Sometimes folks would prefer to stay away
from the CBDTHD conversation, and that's okay too. I mentioned
Snoozefest earlier or actually out of stock on that, so
that'll be in next month. But peer encapsulations, like I
(08:16):
mentioned earlier, we have dozens and even hundreds of brands
for a variety of reasons. Best rest by peer encapsulations
has been a go to for our community. Has your
alpenine kind of calms down those obsessive thoughts that can
kind of attack you, keep you from falling asleep. It
has your five HTP which sort of balances your serotonin
(08:38):
levels and helps with sleep. And then also some GABA
gammamino buttric acid which gets you into that deeper rem sleep.
So between those couple of products, we can help folks
kind of find their healthy place when it comes to
falling asleep, staying asleep, and deeper sleep. And you know,
just a side note to all of that, if you
have some magnesium around, Lisa, that is super helpful for
(09:00):
sleep health in general. So we can take that maybe
half an hour forty five minutes before bed, four hundred
eight hundred milligrams even of magnesium I will help kind
of calm things down a bit.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Great guidance of course, great email as well, Lisa, Thank
you for taking time to reach out. Don't forget you. You
can be like Lisa. You can always email Tim at
find your Healthy Place dot com. Even better, love to

little thank you for taking the time to call in
(09:29):

Wellins consultants at Fitchburg, West Side of Madison and sun
(10:13):
Prairie locations of the Healthy Place. Learn more online the
website find your Healthy Place dot com. That's find your
Healthy Place dot com. You can find them on Facebook
and social media, including Instagram at find your Healthy Place Instagram.
They're right at find your Underscore Healthy Place and they've
got a great YouTube channel as well. Telphone number six
so eight three two one thirteen ten. That's three two
(10:34):
one thirteen ten. Gets you on the air with two
and Brian from the Healthy Place and Randy joins us
this morning. Randy, welcome to the program. You're on the air.
What's your question for Tim?
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Hey, y Tim, It's Randy from Verona. Hey, good to
talk to you sailors too. Diabetes is on the rise,
and last time I was in the Fitchburg store, I
noticed a few new supplements for glucose support. And if
(11:06):
folks have never had a blood sugar done, or if
it's been a while and you've put a few pounds on,
it's a good idea to get your blood sugar checked.
If if you've been told you have pre diabetes, Tim,
what are your top three supplements that you have right
now for folks who are kind of inching toward diabetes
(11:27):
or have pre diabetes.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
That is a great question, Randy, and thanks for coming
in Man. Good to hear your voice. Top Top. I
love talking about Sue controlled D. Sue controlled D is
an HERB sourced out of Central America, South America, Hintonia lataflora.
It's a bark extract. Europe's used it in their medical
system for decades. A one C levels carbohydrate metabolism and
(11:54):
balances your levels quite successfully. I have so many testimonies
of folks that you know, you mentioned pre diabetes. Even
at a pre diabetes level. You know, folks will think
to themselves like, oh good, you know I don't have
diabetes pre diabetes. Okay, No, you know, even pre diabetes levels,
sugar levels, your nerves are dying. There's nerves that are dying.
You want to not be pre diabetic. You don't want
(12:16):
to be diabetic. So Soup Control d by Terry Naturals
is my top recommendation. Number two that I like to
bring up all the time is a product called Glucose
Control by Evergreen. It has your chromium, you know, your
top minerals for sugar balance, has your cinnamon, and a
(12:38):
nice blend, really nice blend for bringing your levels into alignment.
And then third, you know, urlapoic acid is a universal antioxidant.
It's both water and fat soluble, so it nourishes strengthens
a bunch of systems in your body and it actually
converts glucose into energy, which is great because you have
more energy throughout the day, your your sugar levels are
(12:58):
more balanced, and those three Randy. We've helped numerous customers
that have worked medical professionals to get away from Matt
Foreman and some of the pharmaceutical drugs related to pre
diabetes or diabetes. This is a disease that is quite curable.
And I'm not going to be the guy standing up
(13:18):
here like, oh, well, cury of diabetes. That's not what
I'm saying. I'm saying there's there's doctors all across the earth,
integrative doctors all across the earth, that are curing type
two diabetes patients every single day. In fact, I love
the doctor Whittaker story. This is decades ago now, back
when before digital records were kept, but the state of
(13:38):
California sued doctor Whittaker because he was telling his community
that he could cure type two diabetes. And he brought
in a wagon probably for visual effects of all the
patients files that he had cured, you know, demonstrated were
type two diabetic. No longer are his treatment plan and needless,
(14:02):
you know, just hundreds and hundreds of cases, and needless
to say, he won that lawsuit in the state of California.
So it is a degenerative disease that is very fixable
through diet and through supplements. And I would want the
community to know that there is indeed something you can
do and you don't have to work. Uh, you don't
have to remain heavily medicated for the topic. There's actions
(14:25):
you can can take and with your medical professional can
can get away from some of these drugs and live
a better quality of life. So love that question, Randy,
Thanks for asking that one.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Really good question, Randy, do ifere you can email Tim
at find your Healthy Place dot com. That's Tim tim
at find your Healthy Place dot com. Still got time,
We've got a quick question. Love to get you in
this morning. Six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
That's six h eight three two one thirteen ten. Will
squeeze in with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place. Don't
forget it's a great day to get on in whether
it's the West Side, Fitchburg or sun Prairie location of
(14:54):
the Healthy Place added bonus on Wednesdays. That's today, Tim
is hanging out at the Fitchburg location Wednesdays from ten
until five. Great opportunity to give them a high five,
saylo and of course, and of course meet with a
wellness consult or Tim at any one of the locations
of the Healthy Place. And Tim, let's real quick before
we wrap up this week, I do want to ask
you a little bit about the Healthy Place. We talked
about kind of the experience that folks have that when
(15:17):
they come in there, it's a very I would use
the word refreshing for a number of reasons. The stores
are beautiful, they're clean, they're very invigorating when you go
in there. But the enthusiasm and the passion for what
you guys do. Every wellness consultant I've ever met with,
everybody I've worked met with that have worked have worked
the Healthy Place, they just are literally the word is passion.
(15:38):
They love what they do.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Thank thank you, man. I mean it's been it's come
out of like like you know, as a teenager, I
literally hated who I was. I didn't care about my health.
I didn't like my personality. I didn't like my brain,
I didn't like my looks. I didn't like my body
size and shape like I didn't like who I was,
and there was age pointed outward towards you know, my
(16:02):
teachers and the police and my parents, and anger towards
inward of like self hatred and depression, heavy drug use,
abusing drugs, both pharmaceutical drugs and illegal drugs. And there
was a tipping point for me after September eleventh that
(16:23):
sort of shook me into being awake, like life, life
is real, life is moving by. Health is real life
is health is moving by. And there was this point
where I needed to make a decision around what I
was going to do with the rest of my life.
Do I want to keep going in this sort of
dark direction or do I want to sort of take
out my sort of the power that I have in
(16:46):
this life to make a difference and to care for
myself and to care for others. And it was sort
of inspirational to me. And you know, I read a
book called purpose Driven Life that led to, oh, my gosh,
I have purpose in my life and that means other
people are valuable and other people probably have purpose in
their life, and that sort of built on each other.
And then meeting Becky, whose mom had a health crisis
(17:07):
growing up that led her towards natural alternatives and a
passion for health and leading others towards more education and
sort of becoming the CEO of our own health was
something that we did together and even for our own children,
like running into walls with trying to figure out It
took us three years to discover Rosemary had an acid
(17:28):
reflux problem and it delayed her speech an additional two
years of when kids usually start talking, and we went
to so many specialists and we had to do the
hard work to figure it out. So, you know, we
think about our community. Everything to do with starting this
company was with the mission to impact and power and educate.
And if we can impact and power and educate our
(17:49):
community to you know, learn, grow, create, like think for themselves,
like critically think on their own health, like be able
to weigh in ination from you know, conventional medicine and
natural pathy and having a team encouraging them, educating them
to have a team around them of people that they
(18:10):
can go to that they trust. You know, they might
have their medical doctor, their pharmacists, their their naturopathic doctor,
their chiropractor, their acupunctures, you know, wellness consultant over at
the Healthy Place. You know, get a team around you
that sort of you can draw from, and then you're
the CEO. You're the brains of your operation, and you know,
sometimes it might make sense to you to go this
route or that route. So our place in the community
(18:33):
is literally the goal is to literally be a light
in the darkness, you know, in the sense of helping
people see that their health really is a gift and
their life really is a gift, and they're both worth
fighting for. Like, people forget that every day they get
bogged down by stress and fatigue and sickness and too
many to dos on the list. They forget to breathe,
(18:54):
they forget to sleep, they forget to stay hydrated. So
we want to be that store like whether you come
in and you grab your protein and head out, or
whether you have a serious health condition that you're wanting
some advice or education on Hey, what's the community doing
with chronic adrenal fatigue, what's the community doing with acid
(19:15):
reflect Like what is the community doing with high cholesterol?
Like what natural alternatives are working that are helping sort
of provide another option to the pharmaceutical drugs that are
maybe treating a symptom but poisoning the body and they
don't like the side effects. So there might be interested
in a natural alternative that treats that same symptom but
then has a strength and a whole slew of benefits
(19:37):
that strengthen the body and improve your mental acuity and
strengthen your liver versus damage it and kidneys, et cetera.
It's a whole sort of paradigm shift. So we want
to be that light to the community. And so when
we hire, we look for you know, you mentioned the
passion word, like you have to be at the Healthy Place,
you have to be passionate about the customer's health. And
(19:59):
if you're like miss that, like, we want people to
be honest because you know, you can't fake it, you
can't force it, you can't. You can do that for
a little while, but you're gonna you're you're true. You know,
you need to have that passion to work at the
Healthy Place. That's one of our core values is that
customer core value. It's all about bringing them fanning the
flame of their health, regardless of where they're at.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
What a great day to get on into the Healthy Place.
Experience that passion again. If you've got something small, you've
got something big, You've got a concern, maybe you're thinking,
you know what, I want to make some changes for
the better. It is a fantastic day to get on
into the healthy place.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Just find out, like just if you have anything going
on your life, small, medium, large. What I'm like challenging
the community to do is find out what natural alternative
could help with that. That's point one, and we can
we can guide you in that, we can points you
in that direction, we can tell you what others in
the community are benefit fitting from. And then the second
question that I challenge the community to do is what
should I be taking on a daily basis from a
(20:54):
supplement standpoint that aligns with budget to that's most important,
most beneficial to your system and body. And that's the
second thing that we do all.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Day today is that great day to start that journey.
Get on in. They'd love to see a westside Fitchburg
Sun Prairie location healthy place. Don't forget if you are
