Love to get your call as well at six o'
eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six'h eight three

(02:12):
two one thirteen ten. And uh, let's talk. We started
a conversation last week about BlackBerry cushuh and the great
benefits that it provides and what makes unique And this
is one of those areas that I've become. I would
not call myself an expert or anything to that degree,
but I something I had never thought about I've learned
from you over the years is with everything at the

(02:34):
Healthy Place, finding the absolute right uh thing for any
type of issue. And there's different strains, different types, different forms,
all these differences making it a very important uh determination
of the right tool for the right job. And as
for folks that are wondering, like BlackBerry cush, it has

(02:56):
a very special application, doesn't it.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Yeah, BlackBerry cush is a gummy for sleep health and
it comes in two strengths, kind of like a lower
one and a little bit of a higher one. And
to your point, it's been an evolution over the last
eight years. You know, it started with CBD and that
was a few years you know, many of the benefits
of medicinal marijuana without the high, and we helped so

(03:20):
many people with that, and then we found okay, goodness,
THHC really is helpful when it comes to blocking pain
and when it comes to treating PTSD and stress anxiety,
sleep issues, like very helpful. And we saw that from
you know, maybe twenty twenty two to present, and you know,
built these different ratios of cannabinoids, you know, low, medium,

(03:42):
high THHC levels, different varying levels of CBD, and each
one of those products came out of a specific community
need where some folks work better with zero CBD, others
work better with zero THHC, and then a blend hybrid
from there. So what I learned about this last year

(04:02):
that I was pretty excited to bring to the community is,
you know, I had always heard of these marijuana strains
that are being grown out west. You know, there was
a movie sometime ago called Pineapple Express, and these different
marijuana strains that are grown for specific purposes with different
varying levels of indica versus sativa. You know, Indica has

(04:23):
more of a sedative effect, Sativa has more of a
energizing conversational effect. And you can grow these marijuana strains
at these these different varying cannabinoid ratios, and same with
the terpenes. These plants, these specific strains that are grown
with specific intent have terpene ratios, which is just a
fancy word for like the essential oils from hemp or

(04:45):
the essential oils from marijuana are called terpenes. And so
all that to say, we set out to deconstruct these
marijuana strains because marijuana is not legal in the state
of Wisconsin right now, and reconstruct them utilize hemp derived content.
So we have a completely legal product and it is

(05:06):
Pineapple Express reconstructed for stress. We have ac DC, which
is reconstructed for chronic pain. It's a strain specific for pain.
And then now we just launched today is our first
announcement of it, BlackBerry cush driven strain for sleep. Health
and sleep has been an absolute nightmare for a good

(05:28):
term for so many people, and you know folks in general,
if you're not sleeping well, their energy obviously throughout the day,
their pain in their body is higher. Like sleep pain
energy have a very close intimate connection folks that deal
with brain fog or even digestive issues, really any problem.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
In the human body.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
If you're not getting substantial or consistent rest, deep rest,
you know, we're talking that like rem sleep, and that
that deep sleep the amount that your body needs to recover,
to detop to regenerate, then everything breaks down in your body.
So when folks come into our stores, that's a primary
question we ask folks is like, how's your sleep health
because that affects so much. So this product is probably

(06:13):
my most exciting product coming out in the last twelve
months here. If you deal with sleep issues, I'd say
to check it out BlackBerry cush It comes in two strengths,
as I mentioned, a two point five milligram THHC and
a ten milligram THHC. And I'll give you a couple
of the kind of the high level reasons why this
is different. So when you build a strain specific gummy,

(06:37):
there's a terpene profile, and so when it comes to
BlackBerry cush. The terpene profile will have mercine, linolol, and
carol felonine, and these are all in the BlackBerry cush
product at the right ratios, and this contributes to that

(06:58):
sedation and relaxation that you want to help to fall asleep,
and those will also help you stay asleep and get
that deeper sleep. So that's number one, and then number
two is a balanced cannabinoid synergy. So many of the
plane I might call them plane CBD THC gummies contain

(07:18):
only isolated cannabinoids. So BlackBerry cush is different as it's
known for its higher CBN presence. So cbn is a
byproduct of THHC degredation. As the actual BlackBerry cush plant grows,
THHD goes down, CBN goes up. That's a natural occurrence
in nature, and BlackBerry cush naturally contains then more cbn

(07:43):
than the other strains would have. And cbn is the
most studied cannabinoid for sleep, So you have that in
BlackBerry cush.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
It's part of why it'll work so well.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
CBD and THHC ratio when imbalanced, these cannabinoids work to
together for better sleep. So Plane you know again, I
might call them plain cbdgummies. Nothing against plaine CBD gummies.
I sell a lot of those, But playing CBD gummies
lack THCHC and plane THHG gummies may not provide the
relaxation that the synergy of that right ratio produces by

(08:18):
BlackBerry cush So I'm really impressed with this product. I'm
super thankful to our manufacturer. The whole team worked hard
to bring this one together.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
You guys will love it. Try it out.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
It's twenty five percent off all day today, so you know,
go to our website and you can order it off
of there. In addition, you can pop into our stores
twenty five percent off all day today and so try
it out.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Big exciting day for sure. Twenty five percent off. That
is awesome again. The website find your Healthy Place dot com.
That's find your Healthy Place dot com. Even better, get
on in. They'd love to see you. Whether it's Westside location,
Fitchburgerson Prairie location of the Healthy Place. Don't forget Tim
is hanging out. It's a Wednesday. I means he'll be
hanging out Fitchburke from ten until five. Stop on in.
Give them a high five. And again to I've get

(09:00):
twenty five percent off. Of course the big with a
big launch of BlackBerry cush. A great, great day to
get in, start that conversation. If you've got a question,
love to have you join us this morning. Gets you
on the air with Tim O'Brien. Tell for one number
six so eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six
so eight three two one thirteen ten. We'll get you
on the air with Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place.
Got some emails as well, Sarah's got one from the

(09:21):
opposite end of the spectrum. We'll get Sarah's email. We'll
take your call next as Ask the Experts with Tim
O'Brien and The Healthy Place continues right here on thirteen
ten wib I eight forty seven thirteen ten wib A

(09:45):
and Ask the Experts, brought you by The Healthy Place,
hanging out with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place online
Find your Healthy Place dot com. Let's find your Healthy
Place dot com. Great day to get on in. They'd
love to see you. Whether it's West Side fitch Berg,
fitch Burg or isn Prairie Lokey of the Healthy Place.
Don't forget on Wednesdays. That's today, Tim is hanging out
at the Fitchburg location of the Healthy Place ten until five.

(10:06):
Stop on and say hello, love to see you. A
great place too if you haven't like even a stopped
in during lunch, that's I think one of the areas
that people forget is like, get a little break at
a little time you're near a Healthy Place location, stop
on in, start that conversation. Of course, grab and go
another great healthy smart snacks available at the Healthy Place
as well in the website find your Healthy Place dot com.

(10:27):
That's fine your Healthy Place dot com. Talking in the
last segment about new product at the Healthy Place, BlackBerry
cush and of course helping folks relax and get sleep.
Another way we speak of and think of when it
comes to overall quality of life, not just being able
to relax, but also getting some energy. And Sarah took
the time to write in She says, Tim, I want

(10:48):
more energy throughout today. What is a good supplement for that?
And that email comes to us from Sarah.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Yeah, Sarah is such a good question and a very
common one. I think most people don't have great energy.
Like most people won't be like today, I'm vibrant. You know,
it just doesn't. It isn't common, and it's a pursuit
and I think we're all inundated with stress, and so
it's important to recognize that like the food we eat,
for example, is probably the most important thing. Is the

(11:16):
most important thing, i'd say for fueling your body, for
fueling energy. A second like being like movement goals, activity
consistent movement and activity goals are like paramount in your health,
very very important. And then third category is i'd point
to supplements. And I am passionate about this category because
there's products that work. So I'll bring up three of them.

(11:36):
The first one I love dearly. I'm very proud of
the product because it's a Lively vitamin coproduct is the
Lively Greens. This has quickly risen to within our top
five top selling products over the last six months, and
if you go into any one of our stores you
can ask for a free sample of it. It tastes
surprisingly good and my kids drink it with water. I've

(11:58):
never found a Greens supplement that taste decent enough in
water for children to drink, and that is part of
what we're bringing up to families in Dane County is hey,
you can give this to your kiddo's There's seven servings
of greens, four servings of fruits, high antioxidant value, adaptogen
blend which helps lower stress, increase mental clarity and focus,

(12:19):
boost immune system, boost your body's natural energy production. Has
a full brain formula in there, and that is called
Lively Greens.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
It's a powder.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Just mix it with some water or a shake, and
again the taste is not bad, actually tastes pretty good.
Product number two I'd bring up is Energy Revitalizer by
Terry Naturally. This is a powdered multi vitamin, but way
beyond a multivitamin. It has your full amino acid therapy
and so folks are going to like different places to

(12:48):
get shots of growth hormones and you can stimulate your
body's natural growth hormone, your body's natural energy production, mental
cognitive boost and clarity, regeneration, recovery through amino acid supplementation.
So within this energizing Revitalizer is the name of the
product by Terry Naturally has your tolerine, your glycine, tyrazine,

(13:11):
your ncetol, as systeine, all sorts of enes that will
strengthen your body and you really feel this one. So
I just drank my shake here a minute ago, and
I had the Lively Greens in there. I had this
energy revitalizer in there, and I do feel a nice
boost energy. There's not any caffeine in there. You can
get that through your coffee or other caffeine sources. But

(13:34):
in general those two products are great. And then the
last thing I'd mentioned to Sarah would be that over
ninety percent of fatigue is related to your adrenal glands.
So your adrenal glands getting fatigue leads to adrenal fatigue
leads to chronic adrenal fatigue. And most people have experienced
with any sort of higher levels of stress in their

(13:55):
life have experienced this. You know, say you have a
decent amount of hours night sleep, but you feel like
torch still the next day, or your brain's not working well.
You know, these are signs of adrenal fatigue. And adaptogenic herbs,
which I mentioned is in that Lively Greens product, so
that's part of why it's working for well so well.
You can also supplement in a capsule adrenal boost by Lively.

(14:19):
Vitamin co is one of our top selling products and
that has your Ashu Ganda has your Rodeola maka gin
seeing it's a very nice adaptagen blend which helps your
body adapt to stress nourishing, strengthening your adrenal glends, which
leads to more energy.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
So those are three examples.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
If you pop into our stores ask a couple questions,
We'll ask you a couple questions. We'll always make sure
you're guided towards the top recommendation for you. So yeah, good,
good question, Sarah, and a common one in this community
for certain.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Very good questions this week. As always, don't forget we
do this each and every Wednesday with Tim O'Brien from
the Healthy Place. It's always a great time to get
on in. Whether it's the West Side Fitchburg or Sun
Prairie location of the Healthy Place. You can learn more online.
You can also chat the Wells consultants. Start that conversation
right to find your Healthy Place dot com again, even better,
great day to get on in, whether it's westside, Sun Prayer,
the Fitchburg location of course Fitchburg on Wednesdays, that's today.

(15:10):
Tim hangs out at the Fitchburg location. He's there to
help and he'll of course love to see you come
on and give him a high five again. It'll be
there from ten until five today on every Wednesday as well.
And Tim, we talk about you spending time in the
stores and obviously the Healthy Place for folks that don't know,
and it's sometimes because it's so clean and so well
laid out, sometimes people think, well, this must be a

(15:32):
chain or a franchise, locally owned, locally operated, three locations,
the only three in the world right here in Dane County.
And obviously as you guys were growing, and of course
online and folks from around the country absolutely and around
the world absolutely love what you guys do at the
Healthy Place. It kind of took you away from being
in the stores day to day operations, and you really

(15:52):
missed that, didn't you.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Yeah, well, a couple of things, you know.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
The whole vision twenty ten started with us bringing impact,
empowerment and education to Fitchburg, first with our Fitchburg store
and then Dane County as we expanded to more locations
and the more time went by, I'm over in my
office working on you know, our wholesale channel or our
e commerce channel with our three different websites, our stores,

(16:16):
you know, and a little bit of torn in too
many different directions, and it took me a little bit.
But maybe eighteen months ago I said, Becky and Night,
we're talking about our vision and kind of where we're
going with the community, and it's like, Dane County is
why we started this, you know, I mean I love
the world and love our country and love our city,
and you know, Dane County is probably where we can

(16:38):
make a greater change, you know impact. Sometimes there's something
going on the other side of the world that we
can't really impact, but we can go to our town
hall meetings for example.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
We can bring change to where we live. You know.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
It's sort of like if you were to ask a
squirrel in nature. This is a little tangent, but it's funny.
You know, you ask a squirrel in nature, you know
what time is it. You know they'd probably be like, well,
it's right now, kind of like laugh at you as
it's munch and it's nuts, Like why would you It's
now and the time is now to sort of like
take action on whether it's your life and where you live,
where you are is probably where you can make the

(17:12):
best impact. So we brought everything back locally. The whole
focus has been back to local. It's been Dane County
and that's why we have a number of things on
the cooker that we'll be talking about in the months
ahead that are very exciting for the community as far
as bringing more health, more ability to impact, empower and educate.
So back to me working on Wednesdays, I miss my community.

(17:35):
I miss working with my community. So, like Sean said,
if you have not been around for a little while
or I haven't seen you, pop into the Fitchburg store
on a Wednesday. I work every Wednesday ten to five.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Another reason I'm doing it is folks that have very
serious medical conditions or very serious health conditions, it can
be intimidating to go into a health food store that
they have not been into before or talk to somebody
about their health. It's very intimate, and you know, we

(18:09):
bring that education to the community. Sometimes it's very intimidating.
So as the owner, you know, I wanted to put
myself out there where if you have that kind of
concern that worries sometimes it's just a hurdle to get
into one of the stores, Like maybe you've had chronic
pain in your neck for years, and you're like, oh,
I've heard good things from the Healthy Place, but I
just don't know where to start. Like stop at the

(18:30):
Fitchburg store on a Wednesday between ten and five. Tim,
the crazy Tim you heard on the radio all excited
about everything, like we'll be there and we'll give you
a high five and sort of take you by the hand,
ask you some questions and you can trust it.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Like an easier point of entry. I want it for people.
So yeah, Wednesdays are my favorite day for that.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
It is a great day. And one of the questions
I always get about people saying, is Tim really liked
Tim on the on the radios at absolutely and guess
what you get a chance to actually person great day
to get into the healthy place? It is.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
I was this will probably not buy any credibility, but
I was joking, like if I fall to the ground
in my kitchen with my five kids and I just
start shaking just to be silly, like nobody will even react,
that is what's going on there.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
They're like, Oh, it's just.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
It's a good day to start. If you haven't a
chance to meet Tim before, great to get in day
to get in. If you've worked with Tim in the past.
He'd love to see you again again. Get in for
the high five, start that consultation. He'll be at the
Fitchburg location on a Wednesday. It's today from ten until
five as well as we've got wellness consultants, great people,
whether it's Fitchburg West Side or sun Prairie location. The
Healthy Place also available online at find your Healthy Place

(19:40):
dot com.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
That's fine, take some action, take some action, and take
some action, you know, whether with my company or somebody else.
The idea is your health really is a gift and
your life is a gift. They're worth fighting for. And
you know, gaining some information to have in your tool
belt around what natural alternatives can help you will help
you move in the right direction towards the fullness of health.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
So we want you to find your healthy place.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Be like the squirrel, be like the grassroots. Live for today,
started today, Get on in. They'd love to see you
at the Healthy Place. Tim. It's always great chatting with you,
my friend. You enjoy this beautiful day and we'll do
it all again real soon.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
You too, my friend. Thanks for having me and.
