Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, good morning, thank you for that very warm welcome. Sean.
How are you, sir?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I'm doing great. It's always so fun to talk with you,
and I've got a lot of great emails this week.
We've got a lot of great stuff to talk about
as well. Always great stuff going on at the Healthy Place.
Great day to get on in whether you stop by
the West Side, Fitchburg or sun Prairie. Location of the
Healthy Place self so you can learn more online the

(00:24):
website find your Healthy Place dot com. Let's find your
Healthy Place dot com. Facebook, and social media you'll find
find your Healthy Place for example Instagram, there at to
find your underscore healthy Place there. I've got a YouTube
channel and I mentioned getting into the stores hanging out
with a wellness consultant, starting that journey. Also today and
I'm on page through my calendar here it is a Wednesday.

(00:45):
Today is a Wednesday. What does that mean? Well, that
means Tim O'Brien, you are hanging out in the Fitchburg
store today, aren't you?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yes, sir?

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Ten to five every Wednesday, Fitchburg Store. And I love
to view consults with the community. I did that from
two thousand ten to twenty twenty It's always been the
favorite part of my job because you get to really
connect with somebody and ask questions that lead to understanding
some directions, some like well, this is what's working in

(01:14):
the rest of the community type of conversations, and a
lot of the questions and challenges that come up are
things that people don't talk about very often to other people,
and so when they're sharing it with a wellness consultant
at the Healthy Place around supplements, right, it's a very
private and sort of like there's a trust there, you know,

(01:35):
to share that sort of and so when somebody first
comes in, they're like, I don't know, I'm used to
like maybe GNC or Vitamin Shop. And so we just
set ourselves apart in a couple of ways by not
doing commission so we don't distract our team with money
to sell a certain direction or way.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
So that's one strategy Becking I put in place.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Another strategy is we have a three month training program
in the beginning of every single wellness consultant's journey, so
they have to make it through that train before they
can work with the community. And that's just because there's
you know, hundreds of brands we sell there's thousands of products.
There's a lot of nutrients, and we're not doctors or
pharmacists and don't pretend to be.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
There's also a lot to be understood.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
And educated around when it comes to quality of brands
or forms of ingredients. What works good, better, or best
For something as simple as a multi vitamin can transform
somebody with adrenal fatigue, immun immune problems and challenges, a
stress anxiety like a good quality multi can have a
serious impact on someone's life. And it's always been incredible

(02:36):
to me what the right nutrients do in the body.
When you give the nutrients the right or the body
the right nutrients there it is. It's incredible to me
how well the body can thrive. There's just you know,
I'm getting on tangents here, but so that that's why
education is important. So that's you know, another thing Becky
and I put in place, and then we instruct the team.

(02:57):
You know, ask questions before you just start thinking, you
know the answers. You know, somebody comes in with chronic pain,
don't just jump to the anti inflammatories. You know, we're
confident that would help them right away, but ask a
few questions. Ask how intense. The pain has been Ask
how long you know they've been battling that. A lot
of these people ten years, you know, and you see
that that pain in their eyes. And yet you ask,

(03:20):
you know, what else have you tried, you know, naturally
or what have you that has worked? Not work because
everyone's so darn different. You got to gain intelligence before
you can just tell them what to take. So we
kind of set ourselves, you know, those few areas, and
there's probably some more good stuff that our team does,
our army of wellness consultants. But yeah, I get to
do that on Wednesdays, every Wednesday ten to five and

(03:41):
that's today, So come on over and give.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
A high five.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
It's a great day to get on in. Say hi
to Tim, give them that high five. At the Fitchburg location,
don't forget also wellness consultants standing by to see you
west side Fitchburg and Sun Prairie online as well. You
can start a conversation there at find your Healthy Place
dot com. That's find your Healthy Place dot com. Speaking
of starting a conversation, Prime Opper Tunity for you right now,
love to have you join us, Get you right on

(04:03):
the air with Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place telephone
number six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. That's
six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. Love to
have you join us this morning on the program and Tim,
when folks call in you can have some great conversation.
You're also going to give him a little bit of
thank you for taking the time to call by away.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
I've got to give him a nice little thank you
twenty five dollars gift card as a thank you, because
I really really like questions. Call ins are great for
the show. They're great to sort of demonstrate what we
get to do in the stores every day. And if
you have a question, it can be a small, medium,
large health challenge for you or a loved one. And
now's a good ten to car six.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Oh eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh
eight three two one thirteen ten. Gets you right on
the air with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place And
for that, Tim will get you a nice little thank
you of a twenty five dollars gift card as well
to the Healthy Place.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Again.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
The number to get on the air six oh eight
three two one thirteen ten. That's three two one thirteen ten.
Another way to reach Tim is via email tim at
find your Healthy Place dot com. That's Tim at find
your Healthy Place dot com. And this is a great
questions Sarah asked. She says, I've been try and.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Get before you go for Sarah's question, just throwing my
email out there.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
So the listener, if you're listening, you know, use that email.
You know.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
I have a team that helps me and we get
a lot of questions that come in and I get
to be a part of those and and it's a
good resource for for people who have kind of heard
me on the show and they're like, Okay, I'd rather
ask somebody I like know a tiny bit than somebody
that I don't know at all. Yeah, And so that's
part of why I do that for the community, Sean,
is to kind of be a bridge, you know, and like, Okay,

(05:35):
you know, these guys aren't too scary, you know. So
if you haven't checked this out before, Tim at find
Your Healthy Place is a great bridge. You can email
and ask some simple questions or stronger questions. And I
do that, Sean to kind of be a bridge for
the community to show them, hey, we're not that scary
and we're for you.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
You know, it's really yeah, it is really a great
way to start that conversation and make contact as well. Again,
Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com. That's tea.
I am at find your Healthy Place dot com. See
Katie's lining up some phone calls right now. Also phone
lines are open six eight three two one thirteen ten.
That's six O eight three two one thirteen ten. We'll
get to Sarah's email in just a moment, because I

(06:12):
don't want to make Mike. Mike wait too long. Mike
from Cambridge, welcome to the program. You've got a question
for Tim about arthritis. You're on the air.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Hey Mike, good morning Jim.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
What about the rhumatory to try this in your hands
and need.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Anything? Certainly? Yeah, how long you've been battling that?

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Probably a year?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
But it's getting worse, okay, and then you notice it
getting worse with like in any sort anything like as
far as activity or maybe diet.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Well, I I just physic worse though.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Sometimes I drop a hammer or something exactly because I can't.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Hold it anymore.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Oh dude, Yeah, okay, I mean yeah, that's uh, that's
no fun, man, I mean, jeez, i'ven't had that happen before.
Perkuman BCM ninety five Kirkcuman is my favorite form of Kirkcuman.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
There's a product called Cure.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
A Health see you are a Health and it has
seven hundred and fifty milligrams of Kirkuman per soft gel
and we Baylor University down South does fifteen one hundred
milligrams twice per day of that exact compound, that BCM
ninety five kurkuman because it absorbs better, and so that's

(07:32):
twice a day. And then do you have the kind
of the fatigue side of RA as well, like that
kind of tired data because pain and energy kind of
an intimate connection there.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Yeah, I've been I've been on pain killers for a
month here because it's just still bad. But I want
to get off in two and I just don't want to.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I just want to keep.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
I mean, I don't know about it.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah, that's right, I mean true.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
But yeah, there's two other products. Adrenal glands play kind
of an interesting role with the energy pain connection. So
if that has been plaguing you, adaptogens would be are

(08:19):
often helpful.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
And then CBD for pain, I mean of that.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
We've sold just oceans of CBD oil since twenty seventeen
to Dane County because of how much it helps in
the area of pain. I mean, that's probably our top
reason for people coming in for CBD over the years.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
And then THHD, of course is a pain blocker.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Some people don't want THHD, which is okay, but there's
definitely there's two or three different paths we could take,
and Mike and I think that starting with that, Kirk
Human would be really good. If you are able to
come into the store today. I happen to be at
the Fitchburg store. My email is Tim at find your
Healthy Place dot com. I can shoot you a couple
of links if that's easier for you, but or you

(09:03):
could connect with the team.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
But I do think we can help. Yeah, I do.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
How long are you going to be there today?

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Ten to five?

Speaker 3 (09:13):
I see you can make it. I'm not sure, but
I try.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
No pressure, man, Yeah what's that in the next week
as well? Yes, yep, every Wednesday ten to five.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
So whenever it works, man, I'd be cool to build
a plan and over the next three to six months,
gets you get your feeling better, you know, gets you off.
I mean, they'd be cool under your medical professionals supervision
to gets you off those pain meds.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
That'd be pretty neat all, right, my great call.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
That's something we do, you know, my favorite. You know,
we get maybe five testimonies per day just to give
you a little hope mic five testimonies a day just
to our various platforms, you know, Facebook and Google Reviews,
and and so one out of five of those near
every day is around chronic pain. And the opioid epidemic

(10:03):
is like pretty intense, Like that's like one of the
most concerning things as we like look at Dane County.
We're like, oh, how can we help, Like, maybe we
can help educate around some natural alternatives that you know,
under medical professional guidance can get folks away from the drugs.
And that's kind of one on the top of our radar.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
You know.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Ozembic is another one. I mean, there's a few drugs
that are very bad for people that a lot of
people are taking, and so we're trying to educate on that,
not really trying to force anyone's decision, more like just
bringing education. And so the pain conversation has been my
most rewarding one because mean, over many years I haven't
dealt with it to that level, but I have people

(10:43):
I love that have and the pain in general can
just bring terror to the rest of your life and
it sort of takes the joy out of the rest
of life. And so that's become kind of a priority.
And I'd want to give you a little hope there
that whether you work with the Healthy Place or some
other company, that there is absolutely natural alternatives that are
working for hundreds of people in our community, thousands every day.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
All right, great, Mike, great call.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Thank you for the call.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
And email Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com.
That's Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com. Speaking
of that email address, got a couple of emails, got
some other cool stuff to talk about going on at
the Healthy Place. Today is the day. Get on into
the Healthy Place, whether it's Westside, Fitchburg or Sun Prairie location.
Don't forget today being a Wednesday. Tim is at the
Fitchburg location from ten until five. Love to see you,

Your Healthy Place dot com. What a great day it
is to get on in. Whether it's a side location,
Fitchburg er Son Prairie. Don't forget, of course Fitchburg location.
Tim O'Brien, he is there from ten until five on Wednesdays.
That's day. Love to see you, love to give you
that high five of start that conversation again. Tim's at
the Fitchburg location the Healthy Place. You can also find

(12:14):
well It's consultants at the West Side Fitchburg and Sun
Prairie location as well as online finds your Healthy Place
dot com. Let's find your Healthy Place dot com. Also
got some emails Tim at finds Your Healthy Place dot Com.
It's tim at find Your Healthy Place dot com and
Sarah email. She says, I've been trying different multivitamins, but
I'm not sure I'm actually absorbing all the nutrients. How

(12:35):
do I know which form is best for bioavailability and
my body's needs, and that email tim comes to us
from Sarah.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
Yeah, Sarah, that's a super good question, and it's one
of the more common questions I'd say that I hear
at least on a regular basis from our community, and
it's sort of before I give a couple thoughts there
the indicator there is like this sense of overwhelm, you know, Sean.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
It's like this idea that that man.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
There's there's I mean, you can buy supplements everywhere, and
everyone says their quality and everyone says they're the best,
and everyone wants to make a bucket right, and it's
like what, who, how when do I believe? And then
what does the science say? And then there's so much
marketing and science used in manipulative ways, both in clinical
and in in science. With natural nutrients as well, you know,

(13:30):
there's all the same stuff corner cutting and sawdust and
et cetera. So I appreciate that question, Sarah, because it
it is it's really honest, you know, And I think
what I'd want people to know is that there's this
this chasm between what real true quality is. So let's
just talk about that for a second. You know, you

(13:52):
look at a nutrient as simple as vitamin C, calcium,
a score bait, you know, or a scorbic acid, and
see and like, you can source these single nutrients from
anywhere all over and it can be quality and it
can be lack there of quality. And the FDA doesn't
monitor the industry, so you have you have all sorts

(14:13):
of corners being cut and billion dollar companies even putting
things on labels that are not in the bottle, and
there's no sort of compliance around the industry.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
So then it becomes important at.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
That point, which is is where my mom got into
the trade when I was, you know, nine or ten
years old, I forget how older. When she got the
job at GNC. You know, we started to understand this
this industry. I kind of rose, okay, grew up learning
this great chasm between quality and less their qualities. So
then you know, when we start in twenty ten, it's

(14:48):
like I'm on this mission with Becky, like, okay, how
do we because when you give the right what always
has blown my mind is when you give the right
nutrient to the body for the right issue that's being challenged,
it is incredible to me, how amazing the human body works,
and how often the right nutraceutical that has high absorption

(15:13):
sourced from a clean place, how powerful that nutraceutical can
be many cases outperforming medical drugs case many other times.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Matching.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
You know, antidepressants is one of my favorite conversations because
when they give the placebo of antidepressants, it helps fifty
percent of people, and then when you give the actual
antidepressant drugs, it helps fifty five percent of people. So
you're getting a five percent lift from placebo. You know,

(15:44):
nothing in there to the actual drug. A five percent lift.
And you know, hey, I talk to people that it
helps him sometimes and that's great, and I'm like thankful
for that. And that's why it's not about trying to
talk people out of something. It's more trying to bring
some education to the table to say, okay, well it
only gives me a five percent lift and Magnolia bark

(16:04):
five hdp elphining methylene blue. You know, there's a list
of these nutraceuticals that are helping hundreds and even thousands
of people in our community. And I get to see
it every day, and I get to see the testimonies.
Like I said, you know, maybe averaging five a day
or so. I get to see this every day, and
so there's this chasm if Sarah's listening between the content

(16:25):
quality of Lousey to good.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
And a good quality MULTI.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
If you don't want to go through the education of
learning each individual nutrient good better best, then find somebody
to have on your team. And you know, there's some
great spots in Madison hoy Apothecary, Willie Street co Op,
Community Pharmacy, and the Healthy Pace.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Smile absolutely, and it's a great to make it doing
that education process, you know.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
And then usually if you have a brand that has
a you know, lively vitamin code. Right when we built
that Beckin, I own that brand. When we built that
multi fi, we spent a silly amount of time making
sure that each ingredient was in its highest bioavailable state,
which leads to this customer experience of more energy, less stress,
more mental clarity, and better hair, skin and nails. And

(17:13):
those force for results should be seen and felt from
every MULTI that you take. And if you don't see
those four things, then you're probably not taking a higher
quality MULTI.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
And I think that what you just mentioned there, I
think for a lot of folks, I hope they heard.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
That is.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
I think sometimes people, just as with multivitamins, just take
it as part of routine, never seeing any results, just
say well that's what I do in the morning. Well, no,
you should see results. That's one of the great things about.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Seeing that energy use day one. We tell people, you know,
buy this multi lively vitamin co. Yep, yep you we're
making a buck on it.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yep, sure are.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
If you don't notice an energy boost day one, you
bring it back.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
You know.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
I to tell people because they're not used to they're like,
you know, thirty bucks a month. They forget what it
is exactly, but thirty bucks really, you know Centrum one
today these are like two dollars a month, so they're like, ah,
really fifteen times the cost.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
It's like, oh yeah, dollar a day. You want to feel.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Energy, more mental clarity, less stress, and hairskin and nail benefits,
and but more maybe more important than all of that,
Like how about we're all nutritionally deficient in one way
or another, and when you're deficient, your body breaks down
in different ways.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
You're not thriving, you're surviving. You know.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Do you want to think you feel well or do
you want to feel well and that's what you're doing
well by your body and if you actually want to
John do well. Yeah, that's why, that's why it's so
important to start that conversation. That's one of the great
things too, is of course, says we all know Tim's
very passionate about what he does. If you haven't had
a chance to meet with any wellness consultants as well
at any of the three Healthy Place locations, they're equally
as passionate. They love helping folks. It's a really, really

(18:39):
great opportunity. Today's a good day, a great day as
a matter of fact, to stop on in, whether you're
near the West Side sun Prairie or Fitchburg location of
the Healthy Place, get on in today. Don't forget extra
bonus on Wednesdays. That's today. Tim is at that Fitchburg
location from ten until five. He'd love to see us.
Stop on in, get a high five, say hello, and
formisa do that consultation as well. Again.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
I'm a big shout out, a big shout out Sean
for all my people out there.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Yes all I have two and they come in, they
give me a high five and no to the community,
thank you.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
It's been super fun being back in the stores and Wednesday,
and if today's a good day to pop out, it'd
be good to see you.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
