Speaker 1 (00:02):
Good morning, Cappy Wednesday with this beautiful, humid, swimmy weather.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yeah, uh, you know, we'll take it. We will take
it because I know what's going to happen sooner or later,
it's going to be cold and frozen.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
We gotta enjoy these these these summer days.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
It's important to stay hydrated on these days as well.
And I know we talked this morning with Tim O'Brien
from the Healthy Place. You guys have some amazing hydration,
water and stress.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
You know, those are all free things pretty much that
you can.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Learn how to manage, you know.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
You know I've noticed, and they're like the hardest they
are I've noticed.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
I mean, if I got an f sean for being
you know, I'm the Healthy Place guy, right, I kind
of gotta put my mask on if I'm going to
go get a Hamburger Cheeseburg's fry, you know.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
And so so.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
But if I'm going to get an F in somenarias
of my health, it is hydration over the years, like
chronically dehydrated, you know, like totally like come on, okay
and then sleep health. Like I know I've been bringing
this up lately, but it's been hitting me between the eyes,
and we all need to be getting hit between the
eyes when.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
It comes to our health sleep health.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Like I have some excuse because I have five kids, whatever,
but work a lot of the times I've put before
sleep too, and once in a while that late net
flicks movie right, and.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
So f in the area of sleep over the last
ten years.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
And then the third one I get an f on
is stress management because you know what I said to
myself is I'm fine, I'm good, I feel great. Those
cortosol levels don't lie, and they damage your system over time.
And you know cause those that live around you, sometimes
in close proximity to have some struggle too. Yeah, they
(01:46):
take care of your health and those areas are free.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
The best way to deal with stress is just to
ignore it. Right now, exactly, guilty.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
That's a little carpet over.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, we've got a lot of oh my gosh, so
much stuff going on at at the Healthy Place. And
I'm looking at the website right now and I'm going
to ask you, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Day week off week, I see sale week, Yeah, yep, yep,
remember that one.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Yeah. The website final for the.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Stores find your or online. The keupon code is right
online there and in stores though is my favorite. So
if you're in the Dane County area, pop by one
of the stores. We love staying hi to you. And
I'm at the Fitchburg store today from ten to five,
so I'll be given out high fives and consultations and
sale weeks are my favorite week because they're the busiest,
So come on stop by, say hi.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
It is so many great reasons to get into the
Healthy Place. Checking in with Tim saying hello given that
high five at the Fitchburg location today on Wednesdays of
course west side of Madison Sun Prairie as well, there
are Willness consultant standing by also online find your Healthy
Place dot com. That's find your Healthy Place dot com.
As Tim mentioned, twenty percent off this week at the
(02:52):
Healthy Place again of course in store or online. As
Tim mentioned, it's a great day to get on in.
They would love to see you. What better reason to
get on in and start that. I oh, we all
make these sometimes forget or make make things lower priority,
and they probably should. It's a great day to get
that start in. Twenty percent off really will kickstart that
for you as well. Another great thing too, if you've
(03:13):
got a question for Tim. We've got a phone line
for you and it's open six O eight three two
one thirteen ten. That's six so eight three two one
thirteen ten. Not only will you get some great conversation,
but Tim, you give a little thank you for the
folks who take the.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Time a call.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
I do twenty five dollars thank you for calling in,
And that can be with a testimony where you took
action in your health and things improved in some sort
of way, So that could be supplements, or that could
be anything, or calling in with an honest question like
hey my big toe hurts.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Or hey I have headaches, or hey I have this
like muscle pain.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Every day, hundreds of customers come into our three brick
and mortar locations and onto our find your Healthy Place
dot com website and seek out information because their health
is challenged in some area and supplements work. So if
you're curious, supplements are working for our community right now,
give a shout and a call in, and we give
a twenty five dollars thank you for it. Because I
(04:06):
really like questions, So thank you Sean for shouting it out.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Darn right. We'd love to get you on the air.
Six eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six O
eight three two one thirteen ten. A voice we haven't
heard from for a while, and an xavier. I was
just thinking about you the other day.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
I said, where is it A here?
Speaker 4 (04:21):
I remember?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
How are you, buddy?
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Good? How you doing? Hey? I have you sure?
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Thanks Bob.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
It's about it's about sleep. Two questions. They say that
Biden be sick is good for sleep, and Valerian Root
teachs you with sleep.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yep, there's is that.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Well, I'd point you towards Valerian Roots. Great five htps
an amino acid is really good, balances the serotonin levels
and helps you sleep. Trip to fan helps you fall asleep,
So that's a good amino acid. Know that turkey amino
acid elthening kind of quiets the mind down. So there's
(05:05):
there's a few dozen nutrients. I could bring up lemon
balm and poppy lavender, but uh there there's a product
called snooze Fest that has a formula of five or
six of them, and then Peer Encapsulations is another brand
called Best Dressed that has several of them together. So
a formula works better for folks than a lot of
(05:28):
times not everyone's different a formula a lot of times
will work better than trying some of these single herbs out,
so you can do it either way. But I like
the Snooze Fest or the Best Stress formula. Those are
our two top sellers in our stores. And then CBD
of course works for a lot of people. But those
first two, okay, those first two are non CBD, so
(05:49):
I would take a peek at those.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
My friend, because I mean, I drive twelve hour ten
out day and some I just can't go to sleep,
And I like this morning up at four in the
morning and I could not. I can't go to sleep sometimes.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Are you stopped drinking caffeine? Are you drinking caffeine a little.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Bit too late?
Speaker 5 (06:16):
No? I stopped drinking at about two o'clock.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Okay, that's a good time to stop.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
Yeah, I stopped. I mean I don't get done so sick.
Oh look, okay, hope.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
We lost in there. But yeah, Zaiger, if you're still listening.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
And then if you're still listening, you can also shoot
an email tim at find your Healthy Place dot com.
I'll send a couple ideas we should go back and forth.
And that's that's really what I want.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Sean.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
The community to hear too, is like it's not a
you know, on the radio, I gotta beat kind fast
and I got to ask one or two questions, not ten.
But in the stores and on the phone when you
call into our stores, you know, we spend as much
time as needed. And so in the beginning it's all
about data collection, you know, asking Xavier some questions there
on what's going on, getting some intel, and then you know,
(07:05):
then making a recommendation and then having a follow up
plan as well, because for Exavier here, trying the Snoozefest
as an example, is very likely to work in that instance,
and then sometimes though it doesn't, and so everyone's very
different and there might be more information that we don't
know about Exavier. So then with Xavier in that instance,
if the Snowsfest didn't work, then he comes on and
(07:26):
it comes on back with that product and then tries
something that you know, when Snowsfest doesn't work usually does
and option.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Two usually does work for people.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
So it's between those one or two options that we
tend to have this higher success rate with the community
because we're all communicating on a regular basis on what's
working and constantly working and to improve and become better.
Last Tuesday, we met as a I think I share.
Every two weeks, our wellness consultant team meets together and
we chat about, you know, challenging cases like things were
(07:56):
kind of not getting breakthrough from a supplement point of view,
and what's been working. You know, what science have people
been reading, what doctors have been talking on the earth,
and when it comes to supplements, like what's working for this,
what's working for that? And then you know, of course,
always alongside the medical professional, we don't pretend to be
doctors over here. We're making recommendations that are working for
the community. So it becomes really fun. And something as
(08:19):
small as Xavier going to sleep at night isn't so
small for Xavier, right, And it's just one of three
trillion health challenges in Wisconsin, let's say. And when you
fix one of those issues, it can change your whole life.
When you get a bit more sleep, it can change
your whole life. Your stress levels change, your energy levels change,
(08:39):
your immune system changes, your memory changes, like your chances
for degenerative disease go down. Like the science is incredible.
So that's the spark that we get to play for
people like Xavier and it's really fun. So I encourage people,
whether it's our company, you know, take our wellness consultants
or standing in our stores, honor, you know, call the stores.
(09:01):
If you don't want to walk in, go to our website,
like this is what you're engaging with. But if it's
not us, find somebody or maybe you're the research person
in your life, and that's fine too. But the point
is get some information that can change your life, because
simply not being able to fall asleep every night for
the next ten years is not a good action plan.
Speaker 5 (09:21):
It.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
As we talked this morning with Tim O'Brien from the
Healthy Place online find your Healthy Place dot com. That's
find your Healthy Place dot com. You two can be
like exaber love to get you on the air six
oh eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh
eight three two one thirteen ten gets you on the
air with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place and one
of the things.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
That sean on one other thing back to the sleep thing.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Like like in general, when it comes to your health,
this is a lie I believe for a long time,
and probably in some areas I'm still believing, is that
I can get away with it. Like the sleep I
didn't get this last ten years. I'm like, haha, for
years and years. I'm like, I got away with it.
See I still am energized. See I feel great, and
it's like you don't actually get away from it. There's
things that are breaking down. And I read that book
(10:01):
Why We Sleep by doctor Walker. I think this and
he's like, he's like, not getting six hours or more
per night, you'll double your risk of cancer. I mean,
just that statement alone, I'm like, okay, and now you
have my attention.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
That's funny that you because that was literally as I
was listening to Xavier's call, I noticed that. I thought,
you know, I don't there's certain things that can be done.
But at the end of the day, also lifestyle modification
and you mentioned yes, also the importance of things like
when you're consuming things like caffeine and other things, is
there are there are some great, great tools out there
to help you fall asleep. But if you're amping yourself
(10:35):
up throughout the day and into the afternoon with cam
right here.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Which I you know I did for years too, and
I'm like, I want to stay up at night.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Why do I want to stay up at night?
Speaker 1 (10:45):
So you know, you got to get beyond the wall
of supplements, you know, And I'm a supplement.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Guy, so I'm obviously passionate about that.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
As I've grown in my own life, I'm like goodness, gravy.
I mean, it's why the Becky and I are building
the Healthy Place Clinic right now, and because we to
you know, our whole mission is education, and so if
we're educating on supplements, you know, that's my I love supplements.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Because it's such a nutraceutical, such.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
A shot of medicine that can cause this amazing reaction
in the body. Because the human body is incredible when
you give it the right nutrients, you know, and there's
not doesn't tend to be the same side effects with
nutraceuticals as there is pharmaceutical drugs, and there's a place
for both. So when you're working with someone's health, though,
like you said, it's so much farther beyond supplements, and
(11:30):
so it gets into hydration and managing stress and your
caffeine intakes and your deficiencies and your genetics and your
DNA and you know, getting into this clinic business. The
whole next fifteen years. When we talk about the last
fifteen years, being amazing. We helped one hundred over one
hundred thousand unique customers. I would have never dreamed about
(11:52):
that as a twenty three year old starting the Healthy Place,
you know, in twenty ten. And so now we're looking
at the next fifteen years going, Okay, that's amazing, it's great.
I'm grateful for that, and I'm gonna put that on
the shelf now and I'm going to look to the
future and go, how can I do so much more?
Because I'm not really satisfied with the health increase that
(12:14):
I brought Dane County over the last fifty I want
to really move the needle on life expectancy in Dane County.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Becky Dews does too.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
I really move the needle on total pharmaceutical intake that
people don't want, the side effects around, you know, that,
the amount of surgeries that people get that later regret.
You know, there's a whole slew of things that I
want to really move the needle on in the next
fifteen years. So we're asking those big questions, how do
we do that in Dane County? And That's what the
next fifteen years is all about. And I can't wait.
(12:42):
And so days like today when it's the twenty percent
off sale in our stores, it's like a celebration because
we're all talking about this, the communities talking with our
wellness can tell where letting them know where we're at
with it, and we're going to keep bringing a brighter
light to Dane County.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
At least that's the goal.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
There's some really exciting stuff going on at the Healthy Place,
looking towards the future. Also today, today is tomorrow. Today
is yesterday's something. It's a future. Today is the future,
tomorrow more, Today is the.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Then a thousand years.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
It's like a day, a day like a thousand years.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
It's a perfect day to start that journey, start that conversation.
They'd love to see you at the Healthy Place, whether
you get on into the Fitchburg West Side or sun
Prairie location mentioned the Fitchburg location of course, today is Wednesday.
That means Tim O'Brien is standing by. He'd love to
see You'd love to give you that high five, love
to do that wellness consultation with you. He's there from
ten until five at the Fitchburg location. Of course, Wellness
consultant standing by at all three locations as well as
(13:35):
online finds your Healthy Place dot com. That's find your
Healthy Place dot com. Twenty percent off, twenty percent off.
No reason not to get into the Healthy Place and
do that today. Welcome you to our conversation with Tim.
We'll talk a little bit more about some of the
great stuff going on with Healthy Place and take your
call next as ask the experts with Tim O'Brien and
the Healthy Place as it continues next here on thirteen
(13:56):
ten wibi Aba and ask the experts hanging out with
our good friends Tim O'Brien. Of course, Tim comes to
us from the Healthy Place online find your Healthy Place
dot com. That's find your Healthy Place dot com. Can
find them also Facebook and social media, all those popular platforms,
(14:19):
including places like Instagram at find your Underscore Healthy Place.
They've got a great YouTube channel as well. Great week
to get on in, Great day to get on into
the Healthy Place. Twenty percent off everything that's running through
August seventeenth, so you still have time to get on
in again. Of course if you are in the Fitchburg area,
great day to get on in, doubly because Tim O'Brien
on Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Come on high five time. I'm on in ten to
five every Wednesday, Fitchburg Store. And it is the shout
outs to two groups. Yeah and if I haven't seen
you in a while, because it's been super fun to
see the community community. And a shout out to all
the high fives I've given over the last few months.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
You're my people.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
It's like so encouraging to see everyone.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
And and then the other shout out is for people
that are in needle consultation. They have a health challenge
for them or a loved one. They're curious what supplements
I have been working for the community, and maybe it's
a little bit easier to work with me than someone
that you don't know at the Healthy Place. So that's
sort of my invitation and my attempt at hospitality. We
(15:20):
even have a little cup of water.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
You do and you can do talk to you about
those about consultations. And I know one of the things
that I've loved over the years. And you know, we'll
get folks that'll call in one week, they'll talk about
an issue, they'll call back a week or two later
and talk about their experience of the Healthy Place and
what went on during that consultation and then the results.
But I also love that they always talk about their
(15:42):
wellness consultant on a first name basis, like like they've
suddenly discovered their best friend and it really is a
great relationship.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
That's kind of cool because it's kind of cool, yeah,
because some people, you know, we're quote unquote just a
supplement store, and so some people come grab their supplements
and go and it's like a very you know, they've
been to G and Z, been de vitamin shop. They
come to the healthy place because the price is good
and the customer services is good, you know, and that
they kind of pop and pop out, grab official and
you know that that's wonderful. And then we have another
(16:12):
group of people that will ask questions about a specific
challenge health problem they're facing. And so that's where it
can get serious because they've been sort of usually challenged
with this health issue for a while. Maybe they've been
around the ringer in the medical system, maybe they've been
medicated and side effects they didn't like and kind of
been in these circles. They haven't really gotten the relief
(16:35):
they've been searching for for the last X amount of years.
And so those folks, those are the situations where our
team really gets to care for the community and say, Okay,
this has been helping other others in the community, and
you can work with your medical professional with this if
you have questions. And this has really really been working
and helping people find relief. And so that's group two.
(16:56):
And then the third groups like actively trying to improve
the quality of their life in the sense of thriving,
not just surviving. So they're already pretty healthy, but they're wondering, like, hey,
what deficiencies may kind of attack my system over the decades,
Because little deficiencies here and there aren't the problem. It's
(17:16):
the little deficiencies for decades that create these problems. So
filling deficiencies, taking the foundational supplements, how can I improve
my mental clarity? How can I lower my stress? These
specific thriving goals, And that's sort of the three groups
that we see, Sean. So the wellness consultant is standing by,
and we don't do commission because we don't want to
be distracted by money while we're trying to help the community.
(17:38):
And so that wellness consultants standing by. When you walk
in our stores or when you call our stores, a
wellness consultant always picks up and they have three months
of training when it comes to supplements again, I like
to say, we're not doctors, we're not pharmacists. We know
supplements really well. Brands good better, and best forms of
ingredients good better and best. Lively Vitamin Co and Wild
(18:00):
Theory are two brands that Becky and I own, but
those aren't always the best brands because there's different reasons
to take different forms of ingredients. That's why we have
two hundred brands and a few thousand products. So that
wellness consultant, you know, I'm glad you pointed that out
is waiting there. Three months of training, they've passed all
these quizzes, tasks, modules, they've had to go through, role
(18:20):
playing with our companies, our vendors, our managers, and then eventually,
after three months, then they start working with our customers.
And after you are in our stores, working with fear,
with these hundreds of these types of questions coming at
you every day, and then furthermore, working as a wellness consultant,
army meeting every Tuesday, every other Tuesday to increase our
(18:43):
skills and our knowledge and our ability to help the community.
It's a pretty cool framework and a formula in a
way that has brought such change in the hell in
Dane County. So I encourage you if you're listening, you know,
I say all that because I'm excited about our service
and what we have offer. But the point is you're
the CEO of their own your own health. You pick
(19:03):
up that sword and take a little step today, like
take tiny steps.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
It's the it's the great day that what you mentioned
that kind of the different personalities of folks that stop
in and visit the healthy Place. And I know you
know from my experiences in visiting and getting to spend
some time at some of the locations, there's almost sometimes
it's almost like a cheers environment for some like like
there are clearly those folks that their wellness consulting them
are are are right.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
They're like, you know, they call me, I mean they
call me, they track me down, they send an email, whatever,
and they'll say, you know, Tim, I have to I
had to find you because Ali did this for me
and and you know, or I hate Jordan did this,
like like they've been so impacted. And in my response
(19:49):
each time, you know, unless we got a rotten pumpkin
and we terminate that one. But for the rest of
the time, it's it's you know, my goodness, we really
like Allie too, isn't she great? Yeah, Because in order
to be on the team, integrity and passion have to
be first.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
That's a core value of ours.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
So then the whole sales side of things without the
commission that pulls that distraction out of it, and it
frees the wellness consultant. Early on, we had to decide
not to tell them what to recommend because in the
supplement space, and it's probably similar in the medical space,
I don't know, but there's everyone so different and there's
so many different options and reasons to consider each that
(20:29):
it takes education and ultimately wisdom, not just knowledge, but
wisdom to know what to recommend somebody when they report
a common issue or a not so common issue. So
that's all a big deal to me.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
It is that it's a talk about that passion, you
talk about that love, you talk about those relationships. It's
a great day to start that. Get on in for
a consultation meet with the wellness consultant, whether it gets
to the West Side, Fitchburg or sun Prayer location online
find your Healthy place dot com. Let's find your healthy
place dot com. Great day if you're in the Fitchburg
area as well. All to stop on end not only
get that wellness consultation.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
By this week and I'll be at the Fitchburg store
ten to five, so come over, get to give a
high five.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Get on into the Healthy Place again online. Find your
Healthy Place dot com. That's fine, Your healthy Place dot com. Tim,
you have a great damn a friend. You do the
great work and I'll probably.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
See you later on my brother, you too, and thanks
for the time.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Let's find your Healthy Place dot com. Tim O'Brien with
the Healthy Place, Vicky McKenna, she comes you way next
