Oh yeah, ten to five Fitchburg every Wednesday. Come on.
I love seeing the community. So if I haven't seen

Life is a gift and I kind of like to
(02:16):
fight for that.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
And it's a great day to just get on the

That's six o' eight three two one thirteen ten to
get on the air Tim O'Brien. Another way to reach
Tim is via email Tim at find your Healthy Place
dot com. That's Tim tim at find your Healthy Place
dot com. And Martha writes, and this is a conversation
we had earlier this morning off the air. She says,
do you have anything that can help with brain fog?
(02:58):
I've been feeling a bit off lately. In that email
from Martha.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, Martha, very good question. And brain fog is an
interesting one, often connected to the gut health more often
than you'd think, so I always like to bring that up.
Probiotics helping your digestion, The whole brain gut connection is real.
(03:23):
In fact, they call the the gut the second brain
because of how many things are connected and sort of
innerlinked there. So gut health can be a big part
of brain fog. Another real, big part of brain fog
often is your adrenal glands. And so when you're stressed,
if fatigues your adrenals, and that messes with your focus
(03:46):
and with introduces the opportunity for more brain fog to
creep in, as well as energy being depleted and overall
sleep being less RESTful. So I will always bring adrenal
health up when I hear the brain fog word as well.
So a product called adrenal boost doesn't have to be
(04:06):
that product that's a top seller for us. The main
thing to get is adaptogenic herbs in standardized forms. It
just means they're better than like a fingerprinted form and
Rodeola maka Schizandra asha Ganda. You know, these are called
adapt to genzy because they help your body adapt to stress, nourishing,
(04:26):
strengthening those adrenal glands, which helps treat that brain fog.
Most folks would also notice a nice lift of energy
and lower stress a little bit better sleep as well.
So that would be the two big ones I'd bring up,
but I'd have some more questions for you, Martha, as
that can be a complex issue. Brain FOG's no fun
to live with, though, and you don't have to continue,
so let's work on it.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
That's a really good question, Marthia.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
We were talking earlier this morning about I ever wake
up from a nap and have no idea where, yeah,
where you are or like, oh my goodness, And as
I get older, I think I tend to experience it
more more. Really good advice, really good guidance this morning.
If you've got a question for Tim, love to have
you join us. Tepul number to get on the air
six O eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six
(05:09):
eight three two one thirteen ten and Dave joins us
from DeForest. Dave, welcome to the program. You're on the
air with Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Hey Dave, good morning, how you doing.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Good morning. I've had a call. I've had a cold
for eight weeks.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Ooh and man.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
The cough the coughing just does not stop. It's none,
It's constant. I've been to the doctor, chest X rays,
blood tests, all that stuff they can roll, the Tousson
and muken X and all that and it just does
not go away.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
And you said eight weeks. Yeah, goodness, Okay, few things
to bring up, you know. One, we want to figure
out how to get your immune system battling this thing
to your victory. So my favorite nutrient for immune system
is elderberry. And there's multiple products on the market and
(06:09):
that we sell that contain that elderberry. Elderberry Boom is
a top seller at our store. So I would write
that one down has seven hundred and fifty milligrams of
the standardizederberry Sambucus is the active compound inside also contains
extra vitamin D and vitamin C and zinc, which are
your big ones for immune boosting. So i'd consider something
(06:30):
like Elderberry Boom and then you're not going to overdose
on something like that. My wife and I will will
take We'll take three capsules three to four times a day,
so you are just strengthening that immune system. The University
of Sydney came out with a very cool clinical a
few years back because actually during COVID revealing how the
(06:53):
virus can't enter the cell with elderberry or has a
harder time entering the cell. It also left the severity
and duration.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Of the virus.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
So with you battling that now now the cough, I'd
bring up a product called Bronchio Clear, which has ivy
leaf and time that's been very effective for soothing and
helping with coughs. I'd bring those two up. I don't
know if you happened to be in the Fitchburg area,
but if you want to stop by Fitchburg between ten
(07:23):
and five, I'll be there, be happy to show you
these couple of things and ask a few more questions.
But I would start with.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Those great question, Dave, Thank you so much for the
call this morning, and of course email Tim at find
your Healthy Place dot com.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
That's Tim ti Am at find your Healthy Place dot com.
From Dave to Randy and Madison. Randy, welcome to the program.
You're on the air with Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Hey, good morning, Randy, Good morning Jim. Hey, how can
I help you?
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Well, I have a high blood pressure and I've been
taking medication for six seven years and would like to
get all off of medication and lower blood pressure naturally.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Excellent. Yeah, are you on any medications currently for the
blood pressure? Just one? Okay? So you know. Side note,
you wouldn't want to hop off that. That can be
kind of dangerous, so obviously work with your medical professional
on that. On the supplement side, there's two products I
like to bring up in this area. First, good to
(08:27):
know in the supplement side of things, it does take time,
you know. I tell people three to six months to
really move the needle on blood pressure and it does work.
Supplements do work for lowering blood pressure. One product that
bring up is Terry Naturally carry Lamorn is one of
my heroes in this industry. He created that product. He
lives up in Green Bay. It's called blood Pressure Health
(08:51):
and it's a blend of outive reef extract and your
top sort of herbals for it's ovlife extract and French
grape seed extract that it came to me. Second product
I bring up is cardio nine to one to one
and those that product I brought in a few years
(09:13):
back for the folks that the first product I told
you about blood pressure health when that's not moving the needle,
and so what it's turned into, which you don't have
to do it this way about something to consider what
it's turned into. Is me recommending both of those products
for folks for the first three months to move the needle,
get things going. Kind of substantiate that these products are helping,
(09:36):
they're working. Maybe that gives time to talk with the
medical professional two and some folks are even wanting to
wean off of blood pressure medications, which have seen happen
over the years. But you want to work with your
medical expression obviously. With that, those are the two big products,
and for both it's two capsules twice a day for
three months. That's more of the therapeutic dose and then
folks will go down to one product for kind of
(09:58):
maintenance too.
Speaker 3 (10:00):

That's at the Fitchburg location on Wednesdays. That's today from
ten until five. And of course wellness consultant standing by.
I had all three locations as well as online at
find your Healthy Place dot com. Let's find your Healthy
Place dot com and Tim last week we kind of
(11:25):
wrapped up and I want to kind of continue on
this conversation talking about ac d C and some of
the other options you have when it comes to CBD
and THCHC. I know folks really really love what they're
seeing and what I what I always appreciate about The
Healthy Place is you give folks different options for different
you know, it's not all the same tools in the toolbox.
(11:47):
And when it comes to the world of CBD and THCHC,
I'm really fine tuning it. And there's obviously in those
subcategories different percentage, different strains, differentness. You've really gone all
in on this to make sure that what you are
offering the folks really fits their needs.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Thank you for saying that. You know, and I'll circle
back to the CBD THHD thing, but you know, you
kind of hit a nerve there in a good way
with you know, we have two brands, Wild Theory and Lively,
and that makes up about one percent of the products
that we sell. We have about four thousand and hundreds
of brands the whole stick with the Healthy Place, what
(12:24):
Becky and I aim to be is a resource center.
Like we don't pretend to have all the answers, and
we don't pretend to have all the products that are
necessarily needed. We don't pretend to be the only source.
And so we want to a link arms with the
community and sort of sort of create, you know, add
to the value of what's being added to Madison. So
(12:45):
the community has resources. And so when it comes to
items like CBD or THHD, like everybody has a different
CBD THHD sweet spot. Like, first off, it's not for everybody,
and we don't pretend like it is. And number two
is we have you know, twelve twenty four forty eight
different options. You know that we've grown over the years
(13:05):
to the point where you know, you kind of need
to have something for everyone. And it's been a learning
curve for me. Started just with a CBD of course,
back in twenty seventeen, and the learning, the amount of
education that I've had since then on the topic has
been pretty cool. So I think what you're bringing up
too is three of our newer products, BlackBerry Push for sleep,
(13:29):
ACDC for pain, and Pineapple Express for stress, Like those
are specific strains grown out West utilizing marijuana to treat
these specific issues conditions, struggles, and you can create the
same thing utilizing hemp. So that was discovered last year
and it's kind of a cool idea, so we decided
(13:49):
to try it. What you never know is how the
community is going to respond to it, like is it
going to help as much as we think? And all
three of those, I can say, have been knocking these
out of the park, like to the point where a
lot of folks are switching away from just the CBDTHD
by themselves and moving towards these strains because it's a
little bit more nuanced to their specific condition. The other
(14:11):
thing that's been kind of cool that I didn't I
didn't I didn't initially realize I could could help do.
But you know, we were saving folks to a lot
of a lot of dollars too, because if you drive
stay to Illinois or you know, Minnesota, Michigan, I miss
legal all around us. So folks will drive to these
places you pay you know, Illinois, I think it's a
thirty thirty eight I don't know, thirty or thirty eight
(14:33):
percent tax on the products you buy there. So when
I priced these, I wanted to be competitive with you
know West, what the gummies are you know, Illinois with
they outright, So we wanted to be very competitive, and
I didn't realize that additional tax savings of thirty percent,
So like save the drive, don't don't go hours out
of the way, and don't pay more than you need to.
(14:55):
So that's that's part of what I'm real proud of
at the healthy place.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
That's a great thing too, is and not only that,
at shopping local and uh and of course anytime we
can keep things here in Wisconsin.
Speaker 6 (15:06):
We're all for it as well. So there's there's so
many great benefits. Yeah, so many great benefits. And that's
such a great thing too. You we talked about and
Tim I think one of the things too that carries
through as we were talking about the different strains and
different options for for THHC, having different different tools and
(15:26):
different options for different folks, and we've you know, we
had a couple of callers this morning being able to
offer them a variety of different options because not everybody's
the same, not everything works the same for folks. And
obviously the knowledge acquired by your wellness consultants, and I
know you guys share that amongst yourselves as well to
see what works best, but you make sure that you
have a solution for everybody. And I really appreciate that.
(15:48):
I think for folks that have had a chance to
visit at the Healthy Place, they've seen that firsthand of saying, well,
let's let's here's your symptoms, let's try this first and
see how it goes, and then of course making sure
that you're actually seeing results. What a novel idea that
is tim to actually see it.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Yeah, I mean the whole forty eight hour is sort
of a strategy in the stuff because I grew up
in the stufflem an industry, and there's there's so much bad, good,
better best out there, and it is a mess to
wave through, especially online. So growing up with my mom
working at a health food store, observing that, understanding it
more and more as the years went by, and then
(16:29):
getting into the health industry when I was eighteen years old,
actually working as a profession and you know, now I'm forty,
so that's what twenty two years, you know, you just
start to think, it doesn't make me a doctor pharmacist,
and you know, you just start to learn what brands
are good, better, best, what forms of ingredients are good better, best,
and then making that recommendation to people. The third thing
(16:50):
is potencied and strength of dose. So what I've noticed
in the industry is, you know, you'll see these clinical
trials on omega threes for ADHD. For example, a parent
might come in and give their kidd o some Omega
threes for ADHD and then sort of give up three
months later and maybe go over to the drugs riddle
in that they didn't really want to do, but they
didn't know what else to do. And that's sort of
(17:12):
a I'm sort of you know, devastated sounds too strong,
but I'm sort of devastated when I hear those stories
because they probably weren't taking the amount of omega threes
that were distributed during those studies. You know, they might
look at a thousand milligram fish oil and be like, oh,
the thousand milligrams Like well, no, I mean, yes, it
(17:33):
is official oil, but fisial oil doesn't have the value.
Epa dha has the value. So you want three thousand
milligrams of epa dha to treat ADHD, not three thousand
milligrams official oil. And that's like, you know, who has
time to research and remember all of these facts. So
as I opened the Healthy Place of Becky, that was
the mission to educate people to the point where they
(17:57):
actually get breakthrough. And then a few years into it,
you know, folks are you know I'm the same way.
It's like if something doesn't work and the first time,
I might kind of give up. And so forty eight
hour relief for people is kind of important. So we'll
have some strategies around therapeutic dohosing to give those results
and our goal in areas that are tangible where you
can see and feel a difference in those areas. So
(18:19):
I might point out energy strengthening, stress relief, mental clarity,
and focus, like the brain fog question, we had earlier
Adhd had brought up as an example, like to note it,
like for that kiddo, what would it take for them
to feel a difference inside the first forty eight hours?
And that's what we have meetings on every two weeks
(18:42):
with our wellness consultant team. That's what we're strategizing together
on how we can create greater breakthrough. So you do
that for fifteen years, which I'm super proud to say
June will be fifteen years for our company. You know,
you just start to figure it out, like what's good, better, best,
you know, what creates a higher problem ability of success
and so on, And that's what we love to do.
(19:02):
And it's becoming more and more fun as you sort
of gain more and more clarity on how to help
people get that breakthrough. So I would invite you out
to the Fitchburg store today. You know I'm hanging out
there ten to five. I'd invite you out to their
stores today in Fitchburgh or West Madison, Sun Prairie. Our
wellness consultants are amazing. I call them my wc Army,
and I'm so proud of them. And you know, hey,
(19:25):
we're going to keep reaching in the community and hopefully
making things better.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
It's great to see that impact. It is a great
day to get on into the Healthy Place West side
of Madison. Fitchburger's son Prairie Wellness Consultants all standing by,
ready to spend some time with you, getting to know you.
Of course, Tim is at the Fitchburg location ten until five.
He'd love to see you as well. Learn more online
