I have a chihuahua, and uh if if he is

to turn the furnace back. At least that's what I

(02:23):

Give a little thank you for the folks for taking
the time to call in, don't you.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Sure do twenty five dollars gift card as I thank
you for calling in to ask the question, because it's
a little intimidating to call in, and we actually really
like questions over here because it's sort of uh a,
you know, gets you pointed in the right direction. And
then b is a sort of an example of what
we do every time, hundreds and hundreds of consultations every
day in Madison.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
So now's a good time to call.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Six o' eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six
o' eight three two one thirteen ten. Have you ever
called the radio station before?
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Tim, Uh No, you know, I think way back, like
early two thousands, I tried to win one of those
like thousand dollars. Yeah, things on like you know, some
station where, and I didn't. I didn't get on.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
That's my only experience I called the I still remember this.
I've only called into a radio show once in my
entire life. It was KMOX and Saint Louis. I was
driving back, yeah, and I was terrified, like I was.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Sighting right right well, because you know, it's like hearing
your own voice, and then you know a lot a
lot of folks who have the radio on too, so
then you like talk and then you're here.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
I'm like, yeah, I was terrified. I think I was
thirteen using my mom's phone.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
And the moral of the story this morning, folks is,
don't worry if you're a little nervous to call in.
It'll be fun. You'll enjoy it. It'll be a great opportunity.
And Tim, we'll give you a little thank you for
doing that. Yeah, it's it's always fun to hear from folks.
And I know that's one of the big reasons to
why you're back in the store folks that don't know.
Obviously you were in the early days of the Healthy Place.
(04:01):
You were there every single day, morning, noon, and night.
And obviously as the business grew, you became stretched between
the store and the managing of the business, and you
had to step away from the store for a while.
But you are living the dream. You are back in
the store these days because you love spending time with folks. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Well, the real change happened June of twenty twenty two,
where I was sort of struck, like why did I
start this business? And it was Dane County, you know,
and with the CBD sort of explosion, all of a sudden,
I found myself with all these resources and a conviction
of stewarding them well. And that led to more of
a national focus on find your Healthy Place dot com
(04:40):
and wild Theory dot com, lively vitamincode dot com, wholesale
side of things, you know, and the Healthy Place in Madison,
And so I was just stretched between all of those elements.
And so June twenty two, I'm like, you know, I
love the nation, I love the world, and I'm sort
of like in this community and this is why I
started this thing. Is this community. So I you know,
(05:01):
Becky and I had prayerfully kind of been thinking about
that for some time and we said, hey, Dane County
is it. So that's why we're We're rooted and grounded
here and I'm back in the stores, and we have
plans for some you know, I've been been open about
some plans other other health services coming your way with
with some integrative clinic and uh, you know, there's there's
(05:23):
a need in Madison for more education and I've been
running hard in the supplement world and I have. We
have helped a lot of people and more honestly than
I ever thought was possible. You know, it was last
year that we hit one hundred thousand unique customers that
we've served, and that is again more than I ever
(05:44):
dreamed or imagined. And you know, there's there's other layers
to health. You know, if you want to really know
what's going on inside, you know, you get a blood
draw and you get a full women's panel or full
men's panel, and all of a sudden, all these these
indicator reveal to you, like where your health is at.
And I'm getting passionate about you know, hey, do you
(06:05):
know where your sugar.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Levels are at, like do.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
You know where your inflammation markers are at?
Speaker 3 (06:11):
And most people don't.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
And so the passion sort of got to a point
where I actually sean, I got pretty frustrated in June
twenty two where I'm like, man, we literally started this
thing too, you know, minimize human suffering and increased quality
of life, Minimize the amount of pharmaceutical drug intake, you know,
under doctor's supervision, et cetera, and to you know, extend
(06:36):
human life and minimize surgeries that are uneeded, and you know,
those sorts of things. And I'm thinking fifteen years in
because June will be our fifteen year anniversary. Come on,
And I'm like, okay, how much has the Healthy Place
moved the needle? And I'm like, okay, we moved the needle.
I'm gonna appreciate that. I'm not gonna dog down on that.
And there's so many people suffering. There's so much lack
(06:59):
of education and knowledge. There's so many people that have
no where to go in their minds. They don't have
a hope, they don't have a prayer because they think
there's nothing else there. And and we meet these people
every single day in the Healthy Place, and we do
sell hope, I'd say more than you know. Sounds chinky maybe,
but like we honestly like hope is is so powerful
faith belief that you can improve, that you can get better,
(07:22):
that you can move in the right direction. And so
then the prayerful questions like well what should we do, Becky,
like how can we actually move this needle in a
way that's gonna gonna accomplish this vision that that we
we have been given and and sort of called to
sort of speaking, And so that's where you know, an
integrative clinic is gonna be awesome.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
It's gonna be awesome. What do you have a timeline
yet for when that's gonna be?
Speaker 3 (07:46):
I'm open this year, we will have our doors open.
So i'm i'm uh.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
We're doing the official announcement next month for our fifteen
year and you know it just kind of squeaks out
on the radio excited about it.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
Well, thank you for letting than us sharing with us
that because that is going to be really really exciting
and really revolutionary as well. As we chat with Tim
O'Brien from the Healthy Place as they stay in the business,
stay tuned, make sure you're following the Healthy Place on
Facebook and social media. Get regular updates of course this
show as well even better. What a great day to
get on and they'd love to see you at the
(08:19):
whether it's the Fitchburg location today where Tim is standing
by from ten until five today, or of course westside
of Madison or some prairie location of the Healthy Place
online finds your Healthy Place dot com. Let's find your
Healthy Place dot com. Phone lines are open six oh

We will do all of that. Next is ask the
(08:40):
experts with the Healthy Place continues right here on thirteen
ten doubleuibi eight forty four thirteen ten wiba and ask
the experts hanging out with Tim O'Brian from the Healthy
Place Online. Find your Healthy Place dot com all one word.
Find your Healthy Place dot com. Great website. If you
haven't been there recently, stop on buy check it out,
of course, or you can order online. You can start

if you scroll down towards the bottom of the page,
they've got reviews and links as well to some of
their social media platforms, and I'll make sure you're following
the Healthy Place. As Tim mentioned some big stuff coming
to the Healthy Place, you definitely want to make sure
you're following them on Facebook and social media. Great day
to get on in, whether it's West side of Madison,
(09:23):
Sun Prairie or Fitchburg location of the Healthy Place, of
course Fitchburg. On Wednesdays, Tim is in store from ten
until five.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
All the store is open.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Love to see you stop on in and another way
to reach Tim on obviously best to stop and say hello.
You can also email him Tim at find your Healthy
Place dot com. That's Tim Tim at find your Healthy
Place dot com. And Sofia writes and Tim, she says
a quick question, do you carry anything that helps with
stress or feeling overwhelmed? Lately work and life have been
(09:50):
a bit much, and I'm looking for a natural way
to stay calm and balanced without feeling drowsy. And that
email comes to us from Sofia.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Sophia, great question and one that many of us are
interested in. And it's been interesting Sean over the years
because there's dozens of products that in our stores that
work for this conversation, and so based on the customer
and based on sort of many factors will move in
this direction or that direction.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
So when it comes.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
To the stress conversation, it's important to know that when
you're under a lot of stress, it fatigues you're adrenal glens,
so then your energy dips too, and pain, energy and
stress have an intimate connection. So now pain in the body,
say you have arthritis or some carple tunnel or something
like that, will all be more inflamed through the process.
(10:42):
And sleep plays such a huge role there too, and
when stress is high, it's more difficult to get a
decent night's sleep, and all of that increases your sugar
levels in your body, which I found fascinating because now
you're more at risk for pre diabetes diabetes, which fuel
the four horsemen. You know, it's type diabetes, type two diabetes,
(11:04):
Alzheimer's cancer, and cardiovascar disease. So all that to say,
like you know, Sophia, your question on the stress you're
going through, like it is so important to be aware
of the stress and to find ways to minimize it
or control it or have a plan when you're feeling
(11:27):
this way, This is what and sleep is so huge
in general. Breathing is so huge in general. So those
are a couple of tips. You know, I like to
focus on my breathing when I'm experiencing high levels of anxiety.
But in the supplement space, which is what you're asking Sophia,
you know, I'd probably first point to a product called
Lively Greens.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
It's a fruits and greens powder.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
We've been talking about it a lot, sampling it to
every customer, and it tastes good. It's a powder. My
kids drink it. It actually tastes decent, it's not bad
and mixed.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Just with water.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
But what I love about it for the stress conversation
is it has a very robust adaptagen blend. So adaptagens
help your body adapt to stress. So nutrients like you
know rodeola or oschwogonda maka, these these help your body
adapt to the stress.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Coming your way.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
And you'll notice after taking it the product that the
next time these stressful currencies happen, your body like like
physiologically intrinsically responds differently to it because your fortitude is stronger.
And so that's where I like to build up people's
adrenal glands and build up their their hippocampus and strengthen
(12:41):
their neurogenesis and all of that. So so Lively greens
big time and you notice a nice energy boost from it.
Product number two Chill Pill by Lively Vitamin Co Great.
You know, it's been a favorite for since we created
it five years ago, and has your alpenine for those
obsessive thoughts, those kind of anxious thoughts. It has Magnolia
bark for lowering the stress you know, cortosol stress hormone.
(13:04):
It has five htp to balance the serotonin levels, which
uplifts the mood. I mean all of these things are connected.
So those would be my you know two top without
asking Sophia more questions, and I think you'd love that.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Great.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
The coolest part to me is you'd feel it, you know,
you know, Sean, let you like to bring this up. Yeah,
but in the supplement space, like if you take a
supplement and you're not noticing and feeling result when you
have a specific goal like lowering stress or.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Increasing energy or boosting.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Mental clarity, Like there's nutrients that are good for those
things that you don't feel for six months, like vitamin
d and if you're buying specific products to help you now,
then you should feel those difference makers in the first
twenty four to forty eight hours. So chill pill, lively
greens of course, higher levels of CBD are top favorites
(13:54):
at the Healthy Place.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
And it's a great day to get on in and
thank you for the email, Sofia, you can always email
Tim at find your Healthy Place as well. Even better,
it's a great day to get on in, start that
journey and start that conversation with a wellness consultant, whether
it's the West side of Madison sun Prayer or Fitchburg location.
At the Healthy Place. Of course Fitchburg location. On Wednesday,
Tim hangs out there. He'd love to see you between
eleven and five and Tim, one of the things too,
(14:16):
by the way, is I was mentioning social media and
I was gonna ask you about social media this month.
But one of the things too, I just kind of
very quickly mentioned, but it's important to point out as
you scroll down and find your Healthy Place dot com,
you've got reviews posted. And one of the things I
love hearing firsthand is from folks who have had a
chance to get in and work with a wellness consultancy results.
I love hearing from them, but I also love reading.
(14:38):
And let's be honest, on the internet, on the computer,
a lot of folks can be quite bold, and you
know they feel as though they can. But the reviews
are all glowing and I've always really respected that about
the Healthy Place is you know, five star reviews are
just are just off off the charts. People really like
what you're doing at the Healthy Place.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
That's you know, my favorite part obvious.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
My favorite part is when the light comes on on?
What what what our team got to do for that customer?
Like when the light comes on for our team, and
when the light comes on for the customer, and you know,
they come in and they're usually suffering in some sort
of area or have health challenges, or maybe it's a
loved one that has health challenges and they're inquiring for them.
(15:22):
Third category is, you know, I just want to live
a better quality of life. And most people when they
first come into the Healthy Place, not not everyone. And
there's a lot of other there's a number of other
very high quality stores in Ding County and in Wisconsin
that provide great quality supplements.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Most people that.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Come into the healthy place they haven't experienced like truly
high quality supplements. And what I mean by truly high
quality supplements is, you know, you buy a multi vitamin
and it might be all natural, it might be might
be like umpteen times better than a centrum or a
one a day, and it'll still have the lower absorbed
forms of the natural vitamins and minerals. So vitamin c
(16:04):
ascorbic acid, you know, is great, and calcium ascorbate vitamin
C absorbs four times better, which is greater, greater, greater,
you know.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
And so when it comes to.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
The whole slew of supplements that people come in for,
you know, whether it's pain, whether it's sleep, whether it's
a multi vitamin. One of our different strategic strategies is
how can we get this customer noticeable compelling results in
the next forty eight hours. So that's like a sentence
that's in our actual strategy activity system. If we can
(16:40):
provide noticeable, like clear results for a customer in the
first forty eight hours, like Sophia's question, like I have
some higher levels of stress. If forty eight hours later
we can we can ask Sophia like, hey, how's that helping?
And she says, you know what, I'm still stressed a bit,
but boy, is that.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
Edge taken off.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
I noticed this day one, Day two, I feel it
even more. I'm going to leave a Google review and
I'm going to give them a five star because this
is already working. And if this is already working, that
just increased my quality of life by like ten percent
or twenty percent or fifty percent. And that is meaningful
to people. So when you help somebody in their health
(17:22):
journey and you really help them and ask questions, and
it's not about commission, you know, that's why we don't
do commission. We don't want to be distracted by it.
When you really help someone with their health, us struggle,
a challenge, a concern they have for a loved one
like that's meaningful, and that's sort of like brings our
community together.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
It's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
It's really amazing.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
And as you know, as I've mentioned, I've obviously had
a chance to get in and work with you on
a personal notaday as well, and for other folks that
talk about it, it's so cool to see the changes
and the benefits, and I know that's something you and
the team get to experience every day. And that's some
of the great stuff. When you get into the Healthy Place,
you never know where that journey is going to take you.
But the best thing is you're all on the same page,
(18:04):
looking for a better life, looking looking to be healthier, happier,
and so all starts with stop. Whether you get into
the West Side, it's on Prayer Fitchburg location of the
Healthy Place. Don't forget Today is Wednesday. That means Tim's
hanging out at the Fitchburg location from ten until five.
Lord more online find your Healthy Place dot com. That's
find your Healthy Place dot com and Tim before we
wrap this week too, I did want to ask you about,
of course THCHC CBD you mentioned, of course, that is
(18:28):
something that that's really revolutionized things for folks, whether it's
sleep or pain management, depression, there's there's a lot of
and what I find fascinating about about the approach to
the Healthy Place is and it runs throughout the business,
but with the CBD and THHC is really fine tuning
these these these gummies and other things to fit a
(18:50):
specific purpose, a specific use and help folks with that.
And I know a lot of work goes into developing
new gummies and other things at the healthy place. Let's
talk real quick about a little bit about kind of
the development, the journey and where we are with things
like ACDC and others right now.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah, dude, thanks for bringing that up. So you know,
most no story with CBD. We came out, you know,
end of twenty seventeen with great results twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen,
twenty nineteen, twenty twenty, Like CBD, people were wowed by it,
like many had never tried a natural alternative in their
life and they were taking handfuls of ibuprofen and they
(19:26):
were able to get off of ibuprofen with CBD or
stress anxiety, depression, et cetera, that whole list. And then
in twenty one we introduced Strata, which had two point
five milligrams of THHC. There's there's tremendous benefits and it
took me some years to learn it. All tremendous benefits
with THHC blocking pain. So as far as a pain reliever,
(19:47):
it's different than CBD. CBD is going to work with
your inflammation, which is the rood of pain. THHD is
going to be a pain blocker. So both have their
uses and that was wonderful and all of a sudden,
you know, learning more people smarter than me in this space.
I'm getting educated, like, okay, we need we need strained
specific In the marijuana industry, they grow strained specific UH
(20:10):
marijuana crop for specific targeted issues like pain or stress
or sleep. And these cannabinoid terpen live resin profiles are
are very different and very strategic. So as you brought up,
we have three that we've produced in the last going
(20:31):
on nine months ago. We started this journey Pineapple Express
for stress, and you know it when I first tried it,
you know, we created the whole thing because of the
science and because of some council of some educated UH.
I was inspired by the idea and so we brought
(20:52):
it together. But you know, you have all this time,
all this investment into a product, like you don't really
know how it's gonna work until you have you know,
a thousand people try it. And the when I first
tried it, I was a sort of you know, I
try to prepare myself for the worst, so that you know,
I'm an optimist, but I also like to prepare myself,
(21:12):
so I didn't really like, I'm not going.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
To feel this dramatic difference.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
I sort of told myself and about thirty minutes in,
I'm like, oh, okay, this is different than that which
we have made before. And so that was what we
needed to hear to proceed with a CDC for pain
and BlackBerry cush for sleep. So if you battle pain, stress, sleep,
(21:39):
and you're you're wanting to try a natural alternative, these
are ones to try.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
I would I would encourage it.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
Really, good day to start that conversation, great day to
get on in again, whether it's the West side of Madison,
sun Prayer, Fitchburg location up the Helse.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Yeah, really, it's it's taken action, you know. I mean,
I love how you put it. It's like it's like, Okay,
we're all sort of in this life and we have
these health conditions, but we're busy, and that's the reason
that literally keeps us from doing most of the good
things in our life, whether it's working out, eating right,
preparing the right food, educating ourselves with the intelligence that
(22:13):
we need, or taking action in getting the right or
getting the right education in supplements or health or what
have you. And so just put it on your schedule.
Just put it on your schedule. Then you can justify it.
Pop into one of the stores, connect with a wellness consultant.
I work every Wednesday ten to five. If that lowers
the hurdle, you know somebody you've heard on the radio,
you might know a little bit. If that makes it
(22:35):
a touch easier, come on into the Fitch store ten
to five today.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Go online.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
You can submit a ticket, like just ask the question like, hey,
I have high blood pressure. Is there is there anything
natural you know? And then our team will be like, well,
work with your medical professional. We want a DA DA
DA and yes there're you know hawthorn and olive liaf extract,
like you can lower blood pressure with natural alternatives safely
with under your doctor's supervision. And so it's like taking
it's taking a step. Set tim at find your Healthy
(23:03):
Place dot com, shoot me an email. I mean the
point is we're a.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Resource to you.
Speaker 1 (23:07):

a weird way to say it, but don't. Don't you
know your health is worth it, your life is worth it,
They're worth fighting for.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
