Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Sean Pribo, Aloha and mahalo for the warm introduction.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
As you know, I've been in Hawaii, Hawaii family.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
That's a I've never been. I have never been. Now
you have. That's kind of a No Brian tradition. You're
like you the family gets tell.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
A kidney once a year, doing this for about twelve years,
I have no kidneys left.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
And we go to the north shore of a Wahu
because there's a spot called Turtle Bay Resort and our
family has sort of found this in Getty, you know,
this like sort of rich place.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
We have a history.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
All the kids have grown up seeing this one spot
and it is about like healing and like breaking through
the ice that sort of gets around in relationships, that
individualism that can creep into the family where hey it's.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
About me, isn't it. No, it's about the team. It's
about the family.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
And so I love that trip every year just to
take it intentionally with each kiddo.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
And George, my three year old.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah, coming back, we just have this like fiery you know,
like enhanced equity and rapport and relationship and snuggles and
I don't know, Charlie's eighteen months, we've just been having
a blast.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
So it's also amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Let me say to come back because I love our
life and I love our family, I love where we
get to live, I love our community, I love our team.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I love where we're going in our vision. So I'm
ready to go.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
I was gonna say too, and I don't want to.
I don't want to spoil it for for you and everybody.
But one of the things you pointed out to this
particular place you go to because everybody spends all the
time at the at the resort, at the at the
pool side.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, they're just all drinking, dude. So there's like a
mile to the left and the mile to the right.
There's no one on the beach, so we go own.
We have like seven spots that are our favorite, and
some have these like crashing waves. Others have like rocks
to kind of that have puddles and crabs running.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Around and chase them.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
And yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
It is a blast, and I feel, uh calm.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I'm gonna have to get some notes from you, because
you see you seem like revitalized. It's great. It's also
really exciting to have you in studio. This morning because
doctor Bradley is with you.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Thanks for holding the ship's gone popping on the radio. Yeah, dude,
what up?

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Good morning holding down the four It it's great and
it's great to have both you guys back in studio,
and of course the past couple of weeks Doctor Bradley
and our listeners, we've had a chance to kind of
get caught up on the progress of the Healthy Place
and Tim I was going to in the clinic.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Let's talk a little bit about the progress of the
Healthy Place clinic and a little bit of background of
is I know this is something that for folks that
don't know you've been passionate about and interested in doing
for a very very long time. What a great opportunity
it's finally coming to feel with.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
You, dude.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, I'll give you the quick flight path. It's like
twenty ten.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
We are going to change the world. You know, Timmy
and Becky just married.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
We're going to open a health food store and we'll
sell supplements in Fitchburg and we're going to help as
many people as we can. And the word impact, empower
and educate, that's our mission statement.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
And so it's always been.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
About like bringing impact, life change, empowerment, Like, hey, I'm
the CEO of my own health and education, so they
know what to do and what's out there. And so
after fifteen years of that, last year we just celebrated
our fifteen year anniversary. You know, as the years went by,
there's all these customers in the community, you know, I
know them all by name. I can see their faces

(03:11):
where they have struggled health wise, they have been stuck
in a corner. They're either suffering in some great way
or not living quality of life to the fullest the
way they can, like when you have energy, when you
sleep well, when your stress is managed, when your immune
system is strong, your digestion is clean, and you're absorbing
mass nutrition from a clean diet and your glucose levels

(03:34):
and all that.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Right. So I'm doing this for fifteen years and I
love it. I love it. I love every moment of it.
But this increasing frustration has been growing like a ramp
in my life. And it sort of came to a
climax when some dear customers of mine that I was
working with for over a decade, Richard died from cancer.
And I was there from the beginning, working alongside his

(03:57):
medical team.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
You know, trying to be a support. You know, don't
want to make myself sound cooler than I am. Trying
to be a support, right, and they're taking all the
best stuff. You know, there's nothing, there's no supplement supplements
better than what we were talking about, right. That's been
the goal from the beginning is how do we source
you know, working with doctor a Jo Gulaut to Baylor
University for the BCM ninety five kirk cuman learning that
why because that form of kirkcuman is being used to

(04:20):
treat cancers across the earth and it's really helping you know,
glue to thione when you're when you're you have cancer,
you have a deficiency of glue to thione like always,
so taking a glue to thion is good when when
you're battling that. That's just like some some good science
behind that and greens, you know, to alkalize the body
in an alkaline environment. Cancer dies in an acidic environment.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
That thrives.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
So for a decade, I'm like doing research, finding asking
people smarterly, how do we help Richard. We got him
on this gorgeous plan. You know, they they they love me,
I love them we have this relationship for years, and
and then Richard died, you know, And so then I
read a book by Tony Robbins called Life Force, and
it's like data driven, yeah, cutting edge diagnostics, Like we

(05:05):
need to get to the root cause I love supplements,
we need to go deeper. The Healthy Place clinic was
born back in twenty twenty one for Becky and I
and we've been talking about it for four years. And
here and so now I want to hear you know,
doctor Bradley here just sort of lay out the flight
path on the clinic, because if you're listening, like I

(05:26):
want you to know what's available, it's not even you
coming to the clinic, it's you going somewhere else if
not here, it's you getting to the root cause. Because
we're not replacing primary care, we're not replacing acute care,
emergency room, urgent room.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Like we have some of.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
The best primaries, nurse practitioners, MD's, urgent care, emergency care
workers in the world in Madison, Like, I'm so thankful
for that. And we're foundational care. So we're over here.
That's the bottleneck, that's the need. There's no there's not
enough education. Our doctors don't have time to spend an hour,
so without further ado, yeah, kind of lay it out
for us.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yeah, doctor brother, tell us about obviously your history. And
then of course this new clinic opening. Of course, the
clinic itself opens January fifth, January fifth, but booking appointments,
you can book right now.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Right now, absolutely, And that's kind of where I want
to start, is your first visit is all about connection
and understanding. So we're going to take the time to
hear your story, explore what's going on, and start to
begin building a care plan that's right for you. So
I'm all about risk reduction, So I'm a data guy,
so that's what I love taking exactly piggybacking on what

(06:35):
Tim said. So if we take the hazard ratio of smoking,
your all cause mortality goes up forty one percent if
you are a smoker. So let's then get to the
clinic and let's understand what does that mean from biomarkers
that I can help present to you. So one would
be some testing that we can see what is your

(06:56):
state of cardiosptory fitness, and it's called the VO two
max test, and if you are in the low category
or let's just say below average, it's a forty one
again matching that smoking. So to have a low a
below average cardierrestory fitness would be the same thing as
being a smoker. And we can modify that. So that's

(07:20):
this stuff, and we can do a lot of things
to modify that.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
It's in your control.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
We just need to know where you're at and we
can create a game plan, a battle plan, as Tim says,
on getting you from point A to point B and
then we'll worry about getting to Z in the end.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
And people can book appointments right now online the Healthy
Placeclinic dot com. It's the Healthy Place Clinic dot com.
You can do that right on line. You can learn
more about doctor Bradley the other doctors as well at
the Healthy Place Clinic. Also while you're there, you can
learn about the great services that are offered and really
how they can help you. And Tim, we think about,
you know, great partnerships and great meetings and obviously this

(07:55):
is something you've wanted to do for a very long time.
How did you and doctor doctor Bradley meat and like
kind of how because sometimes you just wonder, like how
does this stuff all come together? And there there's got
there's there's forces at play that really make this stuff
happen sometimes beyond our control.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, I don't really feel like it's been like this
cool god thing where it's just sort of like the
vision's been there from the beginning. Becky and I love Madison,
we love Verona, we love Fishburg, some prairie, you know, Middleton.
I'm not leaving you out.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Want my key, yeah, you know all our gangsters out there,
you know.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
So the over the years, it's been this mission because
life is short, and Becky and I believe that life
is a gift that it's worth fighting for, that health
is a gift it's worth fighting for. We believe in
sort of eternity, and so the impacts and good things
we can do now like can produce generational legacy and
even in eternal legacy, and that sort of impact like.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
When I impact, and.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I'll tie it to doctor Bradley, when I when I
see a customer in front of me and I've helped
their life be better in any way, and then then
I see them like, hey, uncle Jim, you know you
gotta you gotta go talk to the healthy place. You know. Actually,
doctor Bradley's at the Fitchburg store all the time. So
you go go talk to this doctor Bradley guy. He
seems smart, you know, smarter than that Tim guy anyway.

(09:09):
So and so then you you as as I've gone
through these fifteen years. You know, doctor Bradley came in
what eight nine years ago we met. You know, we
have similar vision, similar passion. You know, I'm trying to
be as cool as you just think it cool. But
so that's how the team has been brought together. So
doctor Bradley, doctor Ashley, doctor Brooke are amazing. Urns Alease, Megan.

(09:33):
I mean, I'm so happy with the team that's brought together.
I'm so thankful for our MD that's overseeing our direct
just our whole kit and kaboodle, the activity system has
come together. And so meeting doctor Bradley, that connection and
then man, you were just in the middle of moving
back here. And I'm thankful you're working in the stores now.
So just if you didn't hear me say it earlier,

(09:55):
doctor Bradley's working in the stores. And what I'm feeling
urgent about, if you're listening, is I've been galvanizing might
be a good word, because I'm just like hey, Madison,
let's go you know on the radio like.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Methylene Blue and and CBD and Kirk Cumin.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Like it's this passion for life and quality of life
and not just you but those you love and care about.
So that's like the point. So the frustration within that
and why I feel a sense of urgency right now
is the point doctor Bradley just made. I mean I
didn't know that, but if you're operating at that VO
two level and you're equivalent to a smoker, and you
care about life and your community and your family, and

(10:31):
like you want to be strong, and you want to
be able to play and run with your grandkids I mean,
or even your kids at the age of fifty, I
mean getting data driven. So what I'm going to say
is like, go to the website, encourage someone else to
go to the website, and if not this one, go
to the other one. I love Family Clinic and astro Medisine.
I know I'm not so advertised, but I.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Love doctor Henkel.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Like the point is get data driven, root cause cutting diagnostics.
Like I'm so lit Sean and doctor Bradley for what
we're creating. I was just on a call before this
of how can we make that experience for the customers.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
So the IV chairs we're gonna have, you know.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
We'll be able to lift up, you know, the elderly,
so they can get out of those IV chairs easier,
like warming blankets, like data driven smart devices being able
to be connected. So go to the website book an appointment.
Becky and I went around and around on how much
money that should cost for that first intake. And it's
the hardest hurdle, Sean like, for people to make an appointment,

(11:25):
take that step towards foundational care, because we've all done
primary acute care. Foundational care is like, what's gonna turn
that view too to where you're not a smoker? I mean,
the urgency is high.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
You think about two what is the value in the
quality of life? Is get a full.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Intake, battle plan, What lab work do you need? What
battle plan? Then put it in your back pocket and
then just pray about it.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
And the value of one more day with your family,
of quality day with your friends, quality life, those type
of things you really think about that getting in to
do these things and having the idea if you don't have.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Energy, if you don't have like like like say you
eat poorly for a week. We all do that sometimes
and then the mood takes a dip, right, or you
stay up too late, you're not taking care of your sleep.
So now we're ornery, like if you're not healthy, like
just basic, like you can't even be the light you
want to be to your own kids. You know, I've
been through seasons like that. You can't be a loving husband,

(12:18):
you can't be a cherishing mother like you just you're
stuck because you feel terrible and you have to you know,
it's you don't have to do anything, but I want
you to be the CEO of your own health and
I want you to take action. And so now we
have this appointment for two hundred bucks. You can get
January fifth, like we still have openings in January.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Oh perfect, and so like.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Book the appointment. Doctor Bradley's awesome. Doctor brook is great,
she works with.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
With more female and hormones.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
And doctor Ashley is kiddos Pediatrics a Lime especially, We're
gonna be a Lime literate clinic.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Okay, that's gonna be fantastic. It's important you mentioned that
there are still openings available in January in the new year,
and obviously going forward, there'll be plenty of opportun co unity,
but there there are still a couple open right now,
which means you really want a book, you want to
get in right away. Do that today, head on over
the website the Healthy Place.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Yes, I mean, it's just it's okay. I don't know.
For me, I brought up the glucose thing.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yeah, six months ago, yes, and that sort of hit
me where I did not realize. I don't like eat
a lot of sugar. I've always tried to gain weight.
I need to gain weight. So I just didn't pay
much attention to that conversation. And so here I am
living my personal trader trader, I'll call it my personal trader,
call me a skinny fat and I'm just like, really,
I've been trying to gain my weight, but the glucose levels,

(13:35):
the inflammation was literally toxic for me, and I didn't
know where that was at. So similar to the VO
two thing, like if you don't know that stuff, I
could have easily gone another decade and lost another seven
years of life.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Because there's real clear science on the connection there.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
And it's amazing stuff that's able to be done. Now
we talk about the importance of supplements and healthy living,
and of course as well knowing and being able to
measure where those where those metrics are. It's a great
day to make that appointment online. Just had on to
the Healthy placeclinic dot com. It's the Healthy Place Clinic
dot com. Tons of great information there, great place.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
You have more question.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yeah, every Wednesday I'm at the Fitchburg store, including today,
so ten to five and we have doctor Bradley full time.
I'm so grateful, dude, Yeah, full time over at the
Fitchburg store.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
And he also is able to answer questions. So call hey, doctor.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Bradley, stop in, Hey, which one's doctor Bradley? Like, this
is a very unique opportunity in season. We got this
for two more months or what is it?

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Sorry the end of don't Yeah, we're Tim.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
We're like like we got doctor Bradley at the Fitchburg
store till our launch of the clinic. So if you
want to get connected with a functional medicine doc like
without an intake costs, right, you can just like ask
some questions about your family. It's like a really good
time to come in.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Great day to get on into the Healthy Place, whether
it's Fitchburg of course, Tim and doctor Bradley. They are
going to be hanging out today. Tim's there every Wednesday,
of course, Fitchburg, West side of Madison, Sun Prairie location
at the Healthy Place Online Find your Healthy Place dot com.

(15:32):
dot com. That's Thehealthy Placeclinic dot com. Great website to
learn more about the new Healthy Place Clinic. Also the
best thing there, it's an opportunity to book an appointment
right online. Again. The clinic will be opening and running
right in the new year. In that last segment, Tibbet
mentioned doctor Bruner. Tim said two hundred dollars and to me,
I almost fell out of my chair because I catch

(15:54):
I did not expect the price to be so affordable.
Can we put that in a little bit of context.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
Doctor, Yeah, I almost fell out on my chair too.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
So this is where I want to give a shout
out to Tim and Becky for making this so available
and accessible to the community, because I'll be honest with you,
to come see me and my practice to back down
in Charleston, South Carolina, it was over six hundred bucks
to get this thing going, So for it to be
two hundred is crazy amount of value that they're going
to receive. And I'm so excited to be able to

(16:24):
have that price point to get the ball rolling because
it's just the beginning.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
And one of those things too, I've noticed Tim over
the years about what you guys have done at the
Healthy Place and now with the Healthy Place Clinic as well,
is really having that ease of entry is saying you
know what, sometimes the reality is for some people it
is a cost factor. Other things, you guys, whether it's
through great specials, great opportunities, really make it a priority
to make sure that this stuff is accessible to everyone.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah, it is really rough because higher quality supplements are
always more expensive than lower quality supplements, so our price
points is going to be higher no matter what we do.
And so a few years back, right before I think
it was during COVID, actually we made sure all of
our online pricing and in store pricing would reflect the
lowest intern like national pricing on those products, because we

(17:10):
sell a lot of national products.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
So that's like one thing we did. Uh, it's co man,
it is.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
It is a hard world to live in when you're
trying to price things in a way that you can
stay not only stay in business, because it's not just
about staying in business, it's about providing a future for
your community that you can invest in. So like Becky
and I have been real passionate about reinvesting, you know,
instead of like a retirement account, like we reinvest in
the healthy place because it's about this community.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
And so everything we're doing.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
So we were at four hundred dollars for an intake,
and we went through some real hard conversations Becky and
I like how can we Because the intake's the beginning,
So you go get an intake. So I'm just going
to walk through this for sixty seconds. So you go
to the healthy place dot com. You book an appointment
in January. Let's pretend it's January twelve with doctor Brunner.
And then you go to the you fill out, you
get some paperwork to fill out.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
You know, your your history.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
This is some of your data, right, what's important of
your genetics, your history, all of that. Then you meet
with doctor Bradley. You know, January twelve, let's pretend. So
now you spend forty five minutes. It costs you about
two hundred bucks, and in that intake you receive a
full battle plan. So part of that might be lab work,

(18:18):
part of that might be nutritive ivs, or part of
that might be here's your battle plan and you go rocket.
Others might be like, hey, a follow up would be
good two months from now to make sure you're on track.
Others would be like, can we meet once a month
because this is pretty terrible for my life. I would
really want to attack my health challenges. So now you

(18:39):
have a battle plan in your pocket for two hundred bucks,
and you can do anything you want with that. But
the point is that's the most powerful piece of health
data you currently own. Because primary care doesn't address these
foundational issues.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Acute care does not either.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
So then you have thousands of people, tens of thousands
of people in our own community, like Richard might be
all sorts of health challenges across the spectrum, and we
want to support that from a foundational perspective. And then
you have resources with natural pathic doctors because we have
licensed natural path on staff functional medicine doctor. We're gonna
have a nurse practitioner with functional medicine.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
And so.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Take action is the point, even in a little thing,
make a tiny change, but book an appointment if you
have something going on, you're like foundational, I haven't dug
into that. Like go to the Healthy placeclinic dot com,
make an appointment for January, and like get it going
because life is quick.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Yes, one thing to speaking of quick, we are about
a week out from Thanksgiving, which means the following day
is oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
But Black Friday, Cyber Monday.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Mark this down on folks calendar. Right, you guys are
as always were talking about deep space.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yummy is out, so that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Yeah, we have a lot of customers big time chronic
pain they can't get to sleep or their stress anxieties
unmanageable to them. And the hire milligram for THC for some,
not for everybody.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Very helpful.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
So now that's available at the Healthy Place online to
deep space, wild theory, THCHC, gummy great data.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Get on in. Of course. Tim's at the Fitchburg location
from ten until five to day. Doctor Brunner is there,
Doctor Bradley Brunner is there as well. Fitchburg of course
where they are going to be hanging out, you know else,
get in to the West Side or some prayer location.
Also online find your Healthy Place dot com. Let's find
your Healthy Place dot com. Speaking of going online, the
Healthy Place Clinic. You need to get there today the

that data, to get those metricskin get online right now.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Action just take action, any small, medium, large thing. Just
do something.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Today is the day to do just that, Tim, doctor Burner.
It's great to see both you guys. Enjoy us great things,
love seeing you. Welcome back, Tim, Thank you doctor Bradley.

The Brothers Ortiz

The Brothers Ortiz

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways. Gabe Ortiz becomes a third-highest ranking officer in all of Texas while his younger brother Larry climbs the ranks in Puro Tango Blast, a notorious Texas Prison gang. Gabe doesn’t know all the details of his brother’s nefarious dealings, and he’s made a point not to ask, to protect their relationship. But when Larry is murdered during a home invasion in a rented beach house, Gabe has no choice but to look into what happened that night. To solve Larry’s murder, Gabe, and the whole Ortiz family, must ask each other tough questions.
