Speaker 1 (00:01):
Oh shining, Bye Shanning Bye. I'm in the most epic
welcome I have each and every week.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Well hold on second only to my beautiful five children
running to me, calling, running and jumping to me when
I get home.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
That's my favorite.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
It's impossible to be.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
It's great to see you this morning. Of course Tim
comes to it's from the Healthy Place online find your
Healthy Place dot com. But I want you to hold
off on that website because we've also got some new
information with a new website as well. Uh definitely though,
check them out online find your Healthy Place dot com.
Great day to get on in westside fitchburgers on prayer
location of the Healthy Place. You can also find them
on Facebook and social media. Uh the Healthy Place, Instagram,

(00:40):
all those really cool platforms and and Tim, uh, you
always bring it and this week you you brought a
guest along as well this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
With I did doctor Bradley Brunner, Functional medicine practitioner.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Doctor Bradley. Welcome, dude.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I'm so happy to like have you in our clinic
and a part of our mission and vision here in
Dane County. Tell us just like a little bit about
who you are, because we go back a little ways.
I mean, we've known each other for a little while
and high fived in the store and then you, yeah,
tell us the store, who are you man? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Absolutely, thank you for having me. Yeah. It all started
back in twenty eighteen, our relationship grew, had a product
in your stores, and stayed in touch ever since. So
I'm really excited to be a part of the Healthy
Place clinic. Yeah. Functional medicine is my passion. I want
to help people get to the root of their issues
and really flip the switch on reactive care and get

(01:34):
more preventive and proactive. And my background is more sports
performance sports medicine, but out of that of having my
own family, really want to showcase the family dynamic that
we can really help showcase. I mean, I think that's
where the root of it all comes. Can we be
functional and holistic in the household and then we can
help serve and go from there. So that's what I'm

(01:56):
kind of bringing to the table and having that lens
in that data that I want to bring and showcase
people and hey, help them to showcase their story and
we can really then listen and get to the root
of what's going on instead of just going off of
this again. Come on, yeah, this proact or this kind
of a reactive diagnosis care and just symptom suppression. Let's

(02:18):
let's dive a little bit deeper.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, and I know there's a new website to go
with it, the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. The Healthy Placeclinic
dot com.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
And our email just WoT. I'm like, okay, taking deep breath, Timmy,
come bringing it down. So we just sent out an
email to our beautiful community. Who's really why we opened this,
you know, like doctor Bradley, we have a family and
so so that became very personal for us, and our
community is very personal to us. So over the last

(02:48):
fifteen years that we have been running the supplements stores,
we've seen, hey, this is a part of the pie,
like doctor Bradley was saying, this is this is a
part of the piece, a piece of the puzzle, and
it's important and we want to talk about these other things.
So check your email box or pop over to the
website and we're doing pre bookings now, Sean for January fifth,

(03:08):
we're opening.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
You can book now with doctor Bradley. I'm like booking
right now. We have a beautiful team.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Doctor Ashley doctor Bradley, Doctor Brooke, and doctor Allison, and
we're just gonna, we're gonna I'm saying their names wrong
here but they're titles. But doctor Bradley here, I'll just
read yours on our site and this is just part
of what you do, but kind of how we're bringing
you up to the community Men's health, sports, medicine, longevity.
Doctor Bradley helps patients move, feel and age better through

(03:38):
a personalized approach to wellness and performance. Combining functional medicine,
movement therapy, lifestyle strategies. He uncovers root causes, restores balance,
and supports lasting vitality. So from that, doctor Bradley, yeah,
speak to that again a little bit because we've both
been on a similar road of trying to help people
these last decades and we've we've been able to help

(04:00):
a lot of people, which has been fulfilling, but there's
been sort of this itch, this this unanswered prayer in
my in my words, you know, So from your experience
and what we're saying here about you, like what is
your mission for Dane County again, and like speaking a
little bit about that data right, that data driven approach
I think is unique and some of your approaches. Yeah,

(04:22):
just speak to that a minute.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Absolutely. So the intention really is purpose driven. So we're
creating this culture, this community, this integrative care that no
matter what you're coming in for, we're going to get
you facilitated to the right people, and we're going to
take labs that are not just based off of pathology
and just getting you over the hump of in deficient

(04:44):
to borderline. We're going to get you optimal. That's the
key to the whole thing. I want you to be
a vibrant I want you to feel if you've gone
somewhere and your labs were impeccable or perfect there, but
you still feel the same way, there's a problem. We're
going to help investigate and get to that root cause
we'll have the right people place that'll help facilitate that farm.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I love that, and it's like foundational care.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
You know.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I like to remind people that, you know, we're not
replacing primary care. We have some of the best doctors
in the world here in Madison. You know, we're not
replacing acute care like emergency room. You know we have.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I've seen it with my own kids way too many
time in the emergency room.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I know I'm all by name over the but you know,
we have some of the best in the world there,
and so like foundational care, that's the cry right now,
that's the sort of the whole that people need, that
foundational care and getting to the root of things. And
so then to just give some clarity, like if you
went to the website now you pre booked for January
fifth with doctor Bradley as an example, or any of

(05:36):
our practitioners, what it would look like is then you
get a form to fill out. It's like your intake,
and you fill out your history and some of your
your data that would be important that you'd want the
doctor to know about, the practitioner to know about, and
then you'd have a forty five minute appointment, depending on
the appointment type. You know, sometimes there's more comprehensive intakes

(05:59):
that will take ninety minutes, so you spend forty five minutes.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Most people will take forty five minutes two hundred bucks.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
So the cost we wanted to keep low, that threshold
low of entry so people could then get a full
health battle plan and then you put that in your
back pocket, right, you don't have to do anything from there.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
So then for two hundred bucks.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
You can go through an intake, have a battle plan,
which might include certain lab work unique to your situation.
It might include a nutritive IV for your specific situation,
or it might be another meeting with one of the
practitioners to continue what you've built in a battle plan
so that you have somebody to hold you accountable and
help you move forward towards your healthy place and helping

(06:40):
you become the CEO of your own health. And so
it's very patient driven, you know, just like at the
healthy Place, souls before sales is kind of like are saying,
you know, like touch their heart before you ask for
their hand, ask questions. We don't do commission for those
reasons in our stores or in our clinic. We want
it to be people, human, soul focused and so same
thing over at the clinic.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Very patient driven.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
So it's not like hey do more services, Hey do
more labs, more ivs. That's not the goal at all.
That's sort of like a cookie cutter model. We don't
want to push anything. We want to take in what
and where you are at and then build a plan
from there.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Talk this morning with Tim O'Brien and doctor Bradley from
the Healthy Place. Of course, the new website for the
clinic is the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. That's Thehealthy Place
Clinic dot com. You can learn more about doctor brad
and the whole team.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I always forgot doctor Bradley. Dude, you're going to be
in the stores this next couple months. We're going to
be over at the Fitchburg store today. You and I
you know, just like geeking out on how to help
people right figure out problems challenges. So you're invited out
to the Fitchburg store today. I'll be there ten to
five them there every Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
It's like my favorite workday of the week because I
get to see the community come in for a high
five for that. But please, if you have questions, if
you have concerns, if you have loved ones. Over this
next couple of months, doctor Bradley will be at the
Fitchburg store, I believe five days a week. But I
don't want to say that before we talked and I
think we talked about let's lie your.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Matter signed on next Wednesday on air. But yes, I'm
so excited. Doctor Bradley will be at the Fitchburg store
for the next two months.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Yeah, absolutely, And doctor Bradley, I did want to ask
you to mentioned services. Let's talk a little bit about
what what these things are that you're able to provide
for folks, For people that are like, oh, I really,
I'm really interested. What are you able to do? What
are some of what are some of those services that
are going to be available at the clinic.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Absolutely, so it starts off with a blood panel potentially
to get to some of those root causes if there's
some deficiencies that we need to work out off of that,
There's some some other therapies that we can do with
the movement therapy if they're looking that they need to
work on some exercises as well as some of the
tech and the different data. We'll even use some of

(08:46):
their wearables that they also have too as well, because
we want to see kind of what is going on,
create trend lines for them, hormone panels, well you gut
stool samples. We're going to get to the root of
what's going on for you.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
You know What's what I love to hear about that
and what it feels like a lot of this stuff
gets kind of overlooked, Like like you mentioned, taking some
of these some of this data that's already being collected
as as a as a patient, as just a person.
I look at that stuff and I thought it's great.
I could see check my heart rate, I can check
all the stuff, but it's never really tangibly used medically.

(09:22):
Am I hearing right? These type of things, And whether
it's stuff that we have wearables that we're using ourselves,
or things that are able to be provided to the clinic,
you'll actually as a doctor be able to analyze and
use that data to actually help us live better.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Absolutely, let's leverage that you are the CEO of your health.
I want to put that autonomy back to you, and
I'm there part of the therapeutic partnership. We're going to
do this together and we're going to be bouncing ideas
off each other. It's not authoritative. I'm not sitting there
on my pedestal telling you what to do. No, I
can give you record because.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Sean is the best doctor in the room when it
comes to your own health. That's a good fascinating thing.
And so even even yeah, so keep going.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Oh yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
I mean that to me is so cool, right, because
you know, we're kind of used to this different model
when it comes to our you know, just our system,
and so.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
You want to change that.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yeah, absolutely, And let's just not write a script for everything.
Let's put some lifestyle habits back into play, and let's
diversify that and make sure that we're proficient in how
we're eating, how we're moving, how we're sleep and stress management,
our relationships, things of that nature. We can put it
all together.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Talk this morning with doctor Patrick and Tim O'Brien from
the Healthy Place. The website to learn more about the
clinic is the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. That's Thehealthy Place
Clinic dot com. All one word. Of course, you can
always when it comes to supplements, when it comes to
healthy living, all that great stuff with the Healthy Place
dot Com there for you Facebook and social media at

see it, love to give you that double high five
Fitchburg location.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
O't get well It's consultants also available at Westside Fitchburok's
on Prey and online Find your Healthy Place dude.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
I'm just excited for the community.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
It's like a very unique uh time to have one
of our practitioners inside of our stores where freely the
community can come and just ask questions, like sometimes there's
a question like my big toe hurts right, And I've
just been like after this big toe pain, it's been.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Like my example for years.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
I got to come up with a new one, but
like big toe pain for like years, and you know,
come pick doctor Bradley's brain on it. It's like, get
a couple ideas, get some clarity if you have a
loved one. You know, this next couple of months, the
community has this this sort of like resource. I just
add their fingertips. So I'm giddy.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
All of our wellness consultants will be all like, we're gonna,
We're gonna dog pile you doctor.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
And what a great opportunity as well. We talk about
being in the clinics on Wednesdays at the Healthy Place
on Wednesdays and Fitchburg a great opportunity for folks again.
New patients accepting bookings are starting right now for the
new year. I got to do is head on over
to Thehealthy placeclinic dot com. That's Thehealthy Placeclinic dot Com.
You can become a new patient right there, So fill

(11:58):
out the forms and get get ready to get going
and get on that schedule to get registered and.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Come meet doctor Bradley Bronner, our functional medicine practitioner. I'm
so proud of you, dude, just for your story and
first into the Dane County scene.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Here at the website, Thehealthy Place Clinic dot comport continue
our conversation with Tim and doctor Bradley will do that
next as ask the experts with the Healthy Place continues
right you're thirteen wi b A, height fifty one thirteen
ten w I b A and ask the experts with
the Healthy Place. Hanging out this morning with our good
buddy Tim O'Brien, and Tim brought along the great doctor,

(12:31):
doctor brand Uh Bradley Bradley.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
What did?

Speaker 3 (12:34):
I almost said, Brandon, and then I'm like, what what.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Is doctor Bradley Brunner. So it's some beings that we
got going on.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Here, That's what That's what gets me in The new
website for for the clinic at the Healthy Place is
the Healthy Placeclinic dot com. That's Thehealthy Placeclinic dot Com.
Of course, find your healthy place dot Com also out
there as well for you. A great day to get
on in whether it's westside Fitchburger's on Prairie location of
course days Wednesday. That means Tim and the doctor will
be hanging out to Fitchbrook Case from ten until five

(13:01):
today and Tim, it's amazing and we were talking, I know,
Doctor Bradley, you also pointed this out during the break,
is like, how quickly this is happening for folks that
don't know you are literally in on the ground level.
The website just went live this like as we were talking.
The emails are just going out now.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
So yes, this morning.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Yeah, so lock in your twenty percent pre opening discount.
You can book a intake. January fifth has been we're
opening and for the next week we're doing twenty percent
off for our local community here because it's literally been
them Sean that has asked us for this, been struggling
or having different challenges that we're literally creating this for.
I have names and faces, dozens and dozens and dozens.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
That we're doing this for.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
I mean, we're doing it for our own family, you know,
we have some health challenges and so twenty percent off
for the next week, So book by October twenty second
to lock in that twenty percent pre opening discount, get
first access to January availability, start your new year with.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
A personalized health plan.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
I'm so pumped about the battle plan because if you
book an appointment, you do a forty five minute intake
costs two hundred bucks, so the cost isn't crazy, but
it'll be like one hundred and sixty dollars after the
twenty percent and that gets you form to fill out
right some of your history, some of the data that's
important for where you're coming from, and then you know
someone as cool as doctor Bradley might take it here,
and then you have a forty five minute with doctor Bradley,

(14:16):
and from there, in that forty five minutes, you build
a health plan. It's a personalized health plan and I
could not be more excited about it.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Doc, It's morning with Tim O'Brien and Doctor Bradley from
the Healthy Place Clinic online, Thehealthy Placeclinic dot com. It's
the Healthy Placeclinic dot com and Doctor Bradley. When when
folks come in, let's say I had like a shoulder
injury previously a sports where it should I be bringing
those those like, if I've got any type of imaging
or any type of previous records, is that something that
that for that clip for that appointment?

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Is that so much you brow and some people know.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely bring. I want as much of your
previous health history as possible so we can really go
through it together and kind pull out the pertinent information
there and then I can make a better informed decision
on what we need to do next. So I think
that is paramount to bring any old labs, old imaging everything.
I want to know as much about you as possible.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
And there's and there's. It's the thing that I always
find find fascinating about that stuff, and like I love technology,
and I also love also the simplification of things. I
feel like sometimes as patients we get like we like again,
I'll use the X rayses just as a as a layman.
A simple example is like I'll get X rays and
like I'll never see them. I'll never know what goes

(15:27):
on with them, Like like your doctor may come and
tell you like, oh, here's what we saw, but they
never really explain it. It sounds to me and correct
me if I'm wrong, Doctor Bradley, Like you're going through
with with your patients as well about what you're seeing
here and what the what what through your analysis, what
you're coming up with.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Absolutely, we're going to not just show maybe that pain
pattern is just a compensation. We need to actually maybe
peel that back and understand what has led to that
dysfunction to begin. So that's what we're going to get
down to, and that's the differential diagnos that we're going
to be talking about and identifying as far as.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
I because people are going to ask like things like insurance,
no insurance, right, this.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Isn do insurance?

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Yeah, you kind of there's places and spaces that you
kind of don't want the insurance to come inside your office.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Because of what it.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
So we really wrestled over that, Becky and I because
the goal is to make the barrier of entry as
low as possible, and so that is true. So it
is out of pocket, and that's why we want that
first intake to be like two hundred bucks because then
you can build that plan from there and kind of
make financial decisions too, because in the stores will always
tell people like, hey, health, what does zig ziglar say?

(16:35):
You know, money is not everything, but it's second to
oxygen so that's a big part of your health. And
you can overspend on things like supplements, you can overspend
on things like lab work or IVS and there's yeah,
so we want to protect against all that.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
And Doctor two, I know, obviously we're in a football season,
so I think a lot of us are seeing like
athletes and you know, working with trainers and working with
their medical staff and having access to things like different
therapies and things like that. And again and going back
to I think for the frustration a lot of us
experience is like that stuff is awesome for them, but
what about me is are these some of these like
IV treatments are things? Are these things that you would

(17:08):
also be able to offer in clinic to patients.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
Absolutely, We're all about that minimum effective dough seeing what
is going to be most useful for you so that
you know, just like the insurance question, you know, we
are trying to work and partner with you, not with
the insurance company and what they allow. We're working for you.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
That's really good.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
And then the personalized plan what I'm pumped about too
is you know, you say, you get some blood work
done and you figure out what deficiencies or where people
at you are at, you can get a much more strategic,
guided set of supplements to take. So our stores are
supplements stores, and the clinic will be working closely together
with the uh what are we going to call them,

(17:47):
doctor Bradley, our wellness partners. Patients kind of just sounds
like they're sick a little bit, you know, so hey,
wellness partners can get a guided and more clear guided
supplement plan as well. Which over the last fifteen years,
trust me, I've been giddy about being able to help
people and we've done that, and I am certain that
we can help them so much more with data driven approach.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Today's today to book, head all over to the website
Thehealthy Placeclinic dot com Thehealthy Placeclinic dot com all one
word book your appointment now again. The clinic will be
opening and running in the new year, right the first
week of January. Now's the time to book Thehealthy Placeclinic
dot com. Doctor and Tim, it's always great seeing both
of you. Enjoy nice to meet you, doctor Tim. Always.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
We have a gift too.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
We have a gift thirty seconds thirty seconds, if you
would accept it, We're giving you a full ride, my
friend through our personally with doctor Bradley full intake, if
there's lab work that comes from at IVS, all of it,
because you, my friend, have literally helped me build our
mission and our vision of minimizing suffering, increasing quality of life,

(18:51):
all that good stuff for so long.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
So that is my gift to you. It's your birthday
sometime and it's your Christmas present in one.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
I love, absolutely love it. I will definitely take you
up on that. What a great day it is to
