to the warmer temperatures, but also dreading things like allergies

they've on social media Facebook, Instagram at find your Underscore

(01:03):
Healthy Place They've got some great YouTube videos as well
up on YouTube. And of course the best thing to
do this morning is get on in Saylo, whether it's
the West Side, sun Praier, Fitchburg location, up the Healthy
Place and something really cool on Wednesdays, which is today, Tim,
You're hanging out at the Fitchburg location, aren't you.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Yes, sir, ten to five every Wednesday and today is
no different than that. So I'll be over there at
ten o'clock and if you're in the area, you should
drop by.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Love to give you a high five.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Haven't seen you for a little while, or you have
a consultation that you know. That's my favorite part of
what I get to do is help people find healthy solutions, small, medium, large.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
There's natural alternatives that can help.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
And I know you love folks coming in giving that
high five. And of course the cool thing too is
wellness consultants. Whether you stop in see Tim, or go
to the west Side or sun Praier location, the Healthy Place,
or even online I find your Healthy Place dot com.
There are wellness consultants there to help you and help
guide you as well. A couple of ways to reach us,
of course via email. Tim at finds Yourhealthy Place dot com.

(02:04):
That's Tim Tim at finds your Healthy Place dot com.
We've got some great emails. We'll get to uh this
morning on the show. Also, I mentioned the phone lines
are open at six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. And Tim,
when folks take time to call in, give them a
little thank you for taking the time, don't you.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Oh yes, sir, twenty five dollars gift card as a
thank you that can be used on our website or
in our stores.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
So call in now at six eight three two one
thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
You're on hold right now. Stand by. We'll get you
in just a moment. But first we do have emails.
And I feel like poor Emily. I saw our email
last week and I apologize Emily. I didn't get a
chance to read it on air. So we're gonna make
good right now by letting you know Emily right since
she says, I've recently starting exploring natural health options because

(02:48):
I want to avoid relying on medications when possible. I've
done some online research, but it feels overwhelming. I hear
that with so much information out there, how can I
learn more and become aware of natural alternatives? In that
email from Emily.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yeah, that's that is a great question.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
That's one question that we get often in the stores,
especially when people are starting their health journey. So if
someone's right at the beginning of that health journey, they
don't always have sort of a team around them, you know,
maybe a chiropractor, acupuncturists, maybe the Healthy Place, their medical doctor,
their pharmacists. You know, get a team around you that

(03:28):
you can trust at asking questions that lead to answers
that sort of develop one area of your life at
a time. I love to encourage people to start really small,
like considering one or two things that they battle on
a day to day basis or week to week basis.
Maybe it's some pain in their back, maybe it's brain fog,

(03:52):
maybe it's fatigue, or maybe it's something more serious like
IBS problems or divertiqulitis or asthma. What health condition bugs
you or lowers your quality of life, introduces some sort
of small, medium, large suffering into your life for you
or a loved one, and then you know, our service

(04:12):
at the Healthy Place send us an email pop on
our chat on our website, call the store, pop into
the store, ask one of our wellness consultants, Hey, what
natural alternative has been working in the community. You know,
fifteen years we've been doing this. The questions are usually
the same for this specific struggle health struggle, like what

(04:34):
natural alternatives are helpful? And or you know, someone might say,
I'm working with my medical professional to get off of antidepressants.
You know, what natural alternative is there for antidepressant? What
natural alternatives are there for maybe sleep medication or pain medication,
And just start to ask those questions.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
You know, you have maybe a team around you.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Start asking your doctor like, hey, what isn't a pro
that I could try without going on the pharmaceutical drug?

Speaker 1 (05:03):
You know, your pharmacists.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
A lot of times pharmacists have some inside information, you know,
ask hey, what is an approach I can take to
this or work towards on this? And you know the
healthy place. That's the type of conversations we're having all
day with the community every day. Folks in general are
not wanting to be heavily medicated. They don't really like
a lot of the side effects that can come from

(05:25):
the pharmaceutical drugs sometimes they feel sort of stuck on
them because it's like maybe it does help in these
several ways, but it sort of hurts in these several ways.
So we love those questions. I would invite, you know,
calling into the show. My email is Tim at find
your Healthy Place dot com. You're curious, like what flight
path can I take in this area to sort of

(05:45):
improve my health so that it doesn't lead to medications,
and or if you're on medications, working with your medical professional,
asking questions even at the Healthy Place, what natural alternatives
have been working to sort of replace these drugs? And
again I always point, hey, you know, stay with your
medical professional. We don't pretend to be doctors over here.

(06:06):
We get to see people get off medications every day
as well, folks saying hey, anxio calm, which is a
form of echinasia that's fast acting anxiety relief. So folks
are getting off of like lorazapam for example, it just
works for them as well as the drug and is
good for you instead of sort of having those side effects.

(06:26):
So I'd encourage you, Emily, you know, keep asking questions
to those that you trust, keep building a case in
different areas of your life and then take specific action
on areas that you or a loved one are suffering.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
I think that's a good framework.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Really good question, Emily, great answer there as well. Tim.
Of course, if you've got a question, Tim Scott, some
answers for you. I got just pick up pone his
call this morning. Six so oh eight three two one
thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
Of course. Tim comes to us from the Healthy Place
online find your Healthy Place dot com. That's fined your
Healthy Place dot com. And Xavier joins us this morning. Xavier,
welcome back to the show. You're on the air with

(07:02):
Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Hey, Exavier, how you doing? Hey?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
A thousand questions for you, but here's one right now. Nice,
And I'm going to be going across the pond.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Oh nice, that sounds exciting.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
We're gonna be sitting in the seat. I mean, as
long as it takes. I'm not too sure. Well, I
already take like I already eat. Say, well, that helped
my blood slope because I know if my cas and
my legs said it nice sitting up Mmm, yeah, I

(07:45):
can't take to the plane.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah, I was having a little bit of hard time
hearing you, but I think I was hearing a question
around your legs kind of cramping up.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
On the plane.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Yeah, minerals are great, you know, drinking a good amount
of electrolytes, taking a magnesium glycinate or a magnesium bisclycinate
in more therapeutic dosing. I would you know a few
days before. Being hydrated in general is a good idea.
But your bloodstream has like either a hypertonic solution, which

(08:19):
means it's sort of dehydrated lacking the necessary minerals, or
your bloodstream has a hypotonic solution, which means it's full
of the right minerals fully hydrated. So taking in like
a solid amount of electrolytes, you know, even a week
prior is really good idea. And dosing therapeutic dosing. You know,
four six eight hundred milligrams a day of magnesium bisclycinate.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
You can't really take too much magnesium.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
If you do, you get a loosen stool, so you know,
to back off a little bit, but that will will
help minimize some of the cramping, some of the stiffness.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, that's no fun on flights. That's a good question, buddy.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Than Exavier, thank you for joining us this morning.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Great good question.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
And of course if you've got a question, you two
could be like Xavier just gives call six oh eight
three two one thirteen ten. That's six so eight three
two one thirteen ten. Speaking of a flying I remember
a while ago when you had first started launching some
of the CBD and THCHC. I said, I said, why
why drive when you can fly?

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Uh, let's talk about let's talk about saving some money
and staying local when it comes to uh, when it
comes to your some of the products you have at
the Healthy Place, Tim.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
So so you know, we all know Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan
as more legalization than we have here in Wisconsin as
far as UH marijuana and total delta nine availability four
people THCHC and what a lot of folks don't know.
So they're making the drive, say, down to Illinois, and

(09:53):
then they're paying a tax which I didn't know that
it was this high, but it's a thirty eight percent tax.
So they make this, you know, our hour and a
half drive. Then they pay this thirty eight percent tax
and they don't know that we do have the availability
in Wisconsin to duplicate what's in Illinois. So the strain

(10:16):
driven gummies that we're selling by Wild Theory, Pineapple Express, ACDC,
BlackBerry cush are three examples of strains, and I'll kind
of explain what a strain is. So you know, out west,
they'll grow marijuana crops specific two different conditions, so with

(10:36):
specific urpene ratios and cannabinoid ratios that target specific health
benefits like stress is Pineapple express and ACDC is pain
and BlackBerry cush is sleep. So the cannabinoid profile, turpene profile,
which both of those changing in ratios you know, in

(10:57):
a significant way impact the end result of like what's
experienced by the user. So these are very targeted, strained
specific CBD, cannabinoid turpene specific ratios that is similar to
what you'd find in in Illinois. So folks in general,
I'm trying to spread the word that you don't have

(11:17):
to drive, you don't have to pay that thirty eight
percent tax. When Becky and I sort of figured out
pricing on our gummy structure, you know, we sell gummies.
We own a brand called Wild Theory that we sell
out of the Healthy Place for those that don't know.
We wanted to be very competitive as far as the
price per gummy, so we've done that, so we're very

(11:37):
competitive there. But when I was pricing the products, I
did not know about that thirty eight percent. So you
know in Madison here it's five point five percent sales tax.
Well in Illinois it's thirty eight percent, So save the drive,
save the tax. Check out the Healthy Place for Gummies.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
It's and it's such a great experience getting in and
chatting with a wellness consultant and knowing that, you know,
shopping local and yeah, thirty eight percent.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Wow, I know, just say that again, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Exactly, that's the great benefit. And again it's a great
day to get on in. I know Tim and everybody
at the Healthy Place would love to see you. If
you are in the Fitchburg area, don't forget it's Wednesday.
That means Tim's hanging out at Fitchburg location today. Of course,

That's fine, your Healthy Place dot com. Still got time

(12:32):
if you've got a question. Love to hear from this
morning six so eight three two one thirteen ten. That's
six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. We'll take
your call next to continue our conversation with Tim O'Brien
from The Healthy Place here on thirteen ten. Dou wuib
A forty nine thirteen ten wuib A hanging out with
Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place online find your Healthy
Place dot com. That's fine Your Healthy Place dot com.

(12:55):
Learn more on not only on the website chat with
a welleness consult They've also got a great Facebook, Instagram

social media platforms from there. If you're on there, just
type in the Healthy Place you'll find them there. Even better,
great day to get on in. I know they'd love
to see you. Whether it's a West Side location, Fitchburg
or sun Prairie. Extra bonus if you are in the

(13:16):
Fitchburg area. It's a Wednesday, Tim's hanging out, looking for
some high fives, looking to say hello, looking to see
you again. He'll be there today. Is there on Wednesdays
from ten a m. Until five while they're open and
of course, Well's Consultants standing by there as well, and
Tim real quick too. I wanted to ask you about
you know, you've been in the store, back in the
store for a couple of months now. I know that

(13:39):
that is your passion for folks. That anybody that's ever
had a chance to meet with you a chat with
you know that you absolutely love people. You love, you
love talking with people. You love getting to know people.
What's it been like kind of their return like for
you personally, what's kind of that perspective been like getting
back into the stores on a regular basis. How's that
how's that been going for you?

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Yeah? You know, thank you know so yeah, for those listening,
you know, twenty nineteen to twenty end to twenty twenty four,
I was out of the stores. I was over in
our Fitchburg office, uh, doing you know, other things, attempting
to build the business and managing growth and trying to
be this like CEO role, you know when you and man,

(14:19):
I miss working with people. You know, I'm sort of
like a people person. I like people. I like helping people.
Like there's nothing like finding a supplement for somebody that
impacts or changes their life, Like it's such a simple,
you know, thing to do to make a recommendation. And
it doesn't take a lot of education to learn that

(14:40):
an adaptogenic herb can help somebody dealing with chronic adreamal fatigue.
And so you learn, you know, I didn't do very
well in high school, and you know, I'm not a scientist,
you know, chemist, I'm not a doctor, right, so the
supplement space for me was great because it's pretty straightforward.
It's like, Okay, get some some people around me that
I call smarter than me, and learn from them on

(15:02):
what supplements are helping people. And then you can either
you know, kind of go to school to learn French
or you can move to France to learn French, you know.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
And so then working in.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
The stores over the years, you start to develop what
you just start to recognize what works for what conditions
and what issues and what problems, and you keep getting
better because you have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of
customers that you're working with to sort of test what
this doctor says about me. BCM ninety five Kirk human

(15:35):
helping with pain more than a standardized Kirkcuman. So you
try the quote unquote better one for a while and
you see better results from the community and you see
that okay in a thousand areas in the supplement space.
So that fulfillment for me is magic. Working with people
on a regular basis is magic. Like it's about people.
It started with my mom's story battling cancer and her

(15:58):
life was changed and maybe saved through health and at
natural alternatives and supplements, and so that that is part
of my DNA growing up. So I have couragement to
share with people, you know, and I'm no health expert,
you know, I think maybe i'd be classified as like
a supplement expert. But you know, being able to recommend
something sean to someone who who this this product may

(16:23):
fan the flame of their health, It may minimize suffering,
it may increase their quality of life. You know, that
part is so fulfilling for me. And then from twenty
ten to twenty twenty, you know, you work with ten
thousand people that you have worked with every couple of
months because you know, customers tend to come back when
they like the experience, they like the product. So you
work with customers for ten years every couple of months

(16:46):
for you know, whether it's a five minute high five
or whether it's a half an hour consult on a
regular basis because they're working through a degenerative disease. You know,
you build relationships with people. So I've you know, coming
back into the stores, I have had a hunds undreds
and hundreds of my customers. You know, i'd call them
my like groupies, my homies, my gangster is you know,

(17:06):
like my ogs.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
It's been so fulfilling, so cool.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
I was telling Becky and that, you know that I think,
no matter where I go, what I do, staying in
the store at least one day a week is is
something that I want to hold the ground on because
it's like it's how else do you get in the
community and get to connect with the community in that way?

Speaker 1 (17:28):
So I love it.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
Yeah, thanks for asking every Wednesday for the foreseeable future
ten to five, whether you have a health question or
you know we've worked together in the past, you just
want to drop by, give me a high five. I
absolutely love that every Wednesday and enjoying that.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
It's absolutely great day to get on in again. Tim's
at the Fitchburg location on Wednesdays, that is today from
ten until five. Of course, well it's consultant standing by
at all three locations of the Healthy Place West Side
Fitchburg and sun Pray also online and get start a
conversation finds your Healthy Place dot com. That's find your
Healthy Place dot com. I'm gonna get in trouble if
I don't to ask you about I teased allergies earlier

(18:04):
and the like, what about folks that deal with seasonal allergies?
Tim are there are there some natural things folks could
be doing to really help them with the kind of
natural natural alternatives to so I can absolutely I've taken
some of those over the counter ones and I just
feel tired. Just you just don't feel right. What can

(18:26):
you do to kind of combat this inevitable seasonal change
which brings along?

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Yeah, you know, everyone's a little bit different. So you know,
histamines in the body.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Some people have higher histamines and they might have high
histamine diets, so you might you know, be eating certain
fruits or foods that are higher in the histamine. So
your overall levels, if you were to get a blood
test and kind of get your tested, you might be
on the high side. So then if you're on the
high side already, then you know some sort of like
animal dander or pollen in the air or different allergens

(18:58):
chemical related you may be more sensitive too. So first,
it's kind of interesting to think like where am I
on that histamine level? And you know, I love to
recommend people get a full men's panel, full women's panel
like once a year to see where their histamine levels
are at, and where their hormone levels are at, and
are they do they have any deficiencies. So that's important

(19:18):
in general and kind of cool to see where your
histamin levels are at. So if you are one that
does have allergies that this time of the year starts
to kick your butt, you can get a head on
that and would highly encourage it because you can work
your histamine levels down over weeks over months. So you know,
April March April is kind of like and may people

(19:40):
just get in their butts kicked, So now would be
the time to start to work on those histaming levels.
So few products to bring up, and it doesn't have
to be these brands. There's other good products out there.
Inhale Exhale by Lively Vitamin co is uh, you know
the brand Becky and I own absolutely love the formula
obviously we put it together. It is successful in that

(20:02):
it is noticeable in about thirty minutes. Thirty to forty
five minutes, people will feel and notice a difference. There
All your top antihistamine content in their standardized forms, so
you have like stinging netal. Stinging netal by itself will
handle allergies, but in addition it has quercatin, powerful antioxidant

(20:25):
bromoline from the pineapple. Bromolin's an en digestive enzyme that
handles the inflammation around allergens, histamine, et cetera. So inhale exhale,
big product that's a two capsule serving, but you can
take like two three times a day if you're sort
of getting your butt kicked. Another big, big one that
people don't know about is a probiotic. Four allergies your body.

(20:49):
When you're having an allergic reaction, it's like your body
responding to something something in food or the air, et cetera.
So a probiotic, the higher your gut flora is, the
lower your sensitivities and allergies will be. So great guts
is by lively. Vitamin CO is a great probiotic that
has different potency amounts, So if someone's really getting their

(21:12):
butt kicked by allergies. Take the one hundred and fifty
billion that's the strongest formula by lively, and it also
has the prebiotics, which picture prebiotics is like rain to
the rainforest. The probiotics are like the trees or the
beautiful canopy, and all the vegetation and probiotics are like
rain to the rainforest.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
That helps grow your gut flora.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Naturally and the sacrifices bulardy and in the Great Guts
product also targets allergies. So between those two quite successful,
and if you're still battling issues, there's additional things you
can do. But between those two products, we've been quite
successful with our community and sort of taking the edge off.
You know, a lot of folks are trying to get
away from some of the drugs that sort of leave

(21:53):
you feeling groggy or just the chemicals in them in
general not being good for your body. A lot of
folks are trying to get away from those. So inhalex
sale and a good quality probatic, there a couple of
things you can do.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Great data, start that conversation, start that journey. All you
got to do is get on into the healthy place,
whether it's westside fitchburgs on Prairie location online find your
Healthy Place dot com. That's find your Healthy Place dot com.
Don't forget Tim's hanging out at the Fitchburg location on Wednesdays.
That's today, so stop on in, say hello, give them
high five again. Well sultants at three all three locations
of the Healthy Place, as well as at find your
Healthy Place dot com. Tim, time always flies when we're

(22:26):
hanging out. You enjoy the great day, and we'll do
it all again soon.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Always have a good time, man, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Have good day you too, my man. Vicky McKenna. Oh Vicky,
