Speaker 1 (01:27):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:27):
That checks that box. Operators. Do they still have phone operators?
Can I still call four one one and something happens?
Speaker 3 (01:36):
It's not a phone operator. So what it is is
I'm actually going into the union to drive the big
machines like the bulldozers and steamrollers.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Earth movers like that, stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (01:49):

Oh you're coming for well you're not coming for me anymore.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Well, I still could. I guess you could interview.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
You could drive a bulldozer through the window, I guess
and take over my show.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
That could happen.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Oh I'm not going to do that. Yeah, kick me
off the air faster then I'll even get on.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Probably arrest you while they're at it too.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
But I'll tell you what, as long as it looks
good on social you might be okay.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Okay, I love it well.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Now that you're going to be on these big machines,
you can at least you can keep me going on

Absolutely, I love it well.
Speaker 2 (02:47):

text two one six five seven eight ninety six five
of if you haven't already saved that in your phone,
(03:17):
same number four hook cups. By the way, Angela's sitting
on Hold here, angel with the good vibes. Tell me
something good that happened to you today?
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Um?
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Ok, there we go.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
What are we doing tonight? How are we gonna how
are we gonna handle this evening? What's the game plan?
Speaker 5 (03:30):
Laundry and homework?
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Man?
Speaker 2 (03:33):
You have at least pour a big old glass of
wine where you're doing you know what I was gonna say,
the laundry. The laundry, But I'm curious how you'll do
help with your kids homework with a.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Little puzz Oh yeah, that's probably better.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
It may open up you.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
This is what is the math they do now? The
common core math will probably make a lot of sense
with the bottle of wine.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
An't you?
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Yeah? Very true?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Who we never thought of that as millennial parents, Angela, No,
there we go. Well, you know what, we discovered it
today and now we've shared it with the people. We've
done our good deed for the day. So Jeremiah Show
on ninety six y five Kiss FM, Cleveland's party station,
(04:13):
Friday night football in week three here in northeast Ohio,
and there's a little, a little uh discussion happening amongst
those who attend Madona City Schools and those who don't,
and it has to do with the game tonight. Now,
I want to preface this by saying Madonna is playing
(04:35):
Wadsworth tonight. I live in Wadsworth, My kids are Grizzlies.
So I just I want to throw that out there
because there's some confusion happening.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
So here's the gist of it.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Back on the second couple days ago, Madonna Superintendent, he's
out there on Facebook. Madona Soup sup put out a
notice to Madona City Schools parents and guardians talking about
the upcoming season and tonight being their first home game,
and introduce some new rules with the purpose of enhancing
(05:08):
safety and security for everyone.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
This is on the post.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
It's up on my Instagram story if you haven't seen
it at Jay Show Radio and at ninety six five
Kids FM. So in this it basically, and I'll sum
it up. It basically says all students twelfth grade and
below cannot roam the stadium freely. Now, if you've never
been to a high school football game, you don't know.
(05:32):
That's literally the best part of going to a high
school football game outside of watching the actual game.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Especially when you're a kid.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I know, at the home games at Wadsworth Art, right,
my kids just kind of run around. There's some mischief
sometimes somehow my seven year old wound up making seven dollars.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
But it's all in good kid fun, right.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
So Nate doesn't say the reason in this that Madonna
has chosen to do this. The confus comes to this,
and I'd love to know your thoughts A about these
rules and B help me clear up some of the confusion,
because I think a lot of people are confused, even
the news outlets. So it reads this way in the
(06:14):
first paragraph. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all
students all attendees al Madinah City School District, students grades
K through five must be accompanied by and under the
supervision of an adult, family member and or guardian over
at all times.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Paraphrasing Skipper around the.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Second part, students in grades six to eight must be
accompanied by an adult or aor be seated in the
middle school hive section. Same thing for nine through twelve.
The swarm section there be is that's like their student section.
Now the question B. The question here is does that
apply to visiting students? Because if you go to wkyc's
(06:55):
website Channel three, it says the ban on roaming in
the stadium during game action applies to kids in grades
six through eighth grade, as well as ninth through twelfth. Now,
if you go to Fox eight, they say, according to
(07:16):
the notice, which was posted online, the following supervision changes
will take place starting Friday, September fifth, all district students K.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Through twelve, sixth through A, nine through twelfth, et cetera.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
So, in my mind, reading this as a Wadsworth dad
who's bringing his son, his eighth grader, to the game,
these rules don't apply to him because according to the
post on Facebook from Madonna Superintendent Madonah City School District students,
that's non that's only Medina kids. Am I what am
I missing something here? So here's where I want your thoughts.
(07:48):
Am I reading that right? Is it just the Medina kids?
And b if it is a Medonna kids, man, that
sucks for them. That's the best part of Friday Nights, right,
two one, six, five, seven, eight ninety six five. Oh,
you can call her text in it's the same number. Also,
you want to hit me up on the app too,
you're listening there thank you, red microphone.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
There's called a talkback.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
I mean, are we missing out on a on a
right on a what's the word? I'm looking for a
right of passage for kids going to Friday night football games.
I remember playing football behind the stadium in Ritman you
Kidney during the game.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
What are you saying? Clear this? Help me? Clear this up? Cleveland,
Here we go.
Speaker 7 (08:26):
Ninety six five PSFN is Cleveland's party station. The Kiss
you Love is back, More in the mall is going down.
May yiss your number one pre sets on the free
irradio app and turn up your party playlist.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Cleveland's party station.
Speaker 7 (08:48):
Ninety six five KSFMSFL.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Did You're on my show?
Speaker 2 (08:52):
In ninety six five KSFM, Cleveland, reacting to Madonna's news
security measures for the high school football game tonight their
home opener Wadsworth's coming to town, and the superintendent put
out a notice earlier this week saying Madina City School
District students K through five must be accompanied by adults
the entire time six to or eight must be in
the hive of the student section. Same thing from nine
(09:14):
to twelve, and they're not going to let people roam
around a couple texts coming in. Text out of the
three to three zero, Honestly, I'm glad to Dine is
stepping up too many incidents at other schools lately.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Better safe than sorry. Let the kids be kids. A
text out of the two one six says.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Roaming the stateiument hanging out with friends is a part
of the high school football experience. You've got thoughts two
one six five seven eight ninety six five oz in
color texts. It's the same number Mandy sending a talkback
the red microphone there on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
She said, this I get one my DNA's doing when
it comes to safety. But this is like going to
make the game feel more like a lockdown than a
community event. Right, what do you think?
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Cleveland two one six five seven eight ninety six five Oh,
chapel Rona the Chero Maya Show Now, so Chero Mayas
Show ninety six five Kiss FM. He Ev and Rook
about to come in because they are going to be
and I'm from Cleveland Fest Jacob's Pavilion Tomorrow We're going
to chat with them and then we'll play old school
square off on the program. But we're still talking about
what's going on with Dinah tonight the high school football game.
(10:12):
New rules means kids have to they can't roam around
and play whatever they play with each other. I don't
can't even say what we used to play in high school.
Let's bring up Pamela ended the show. Nowt Pamela, get
afternoon a girl. Hey, Pamela, what do you think of
Madna's rules here for the high school football game? No
kids can roam around without a parent. And basically middle
school and high school kids they've got to be in
(10:34):
the student section the whole time. They can't go roaming
around and you know, play and tag or whatever dumb
stuff we do as kids.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
It's different from how I grew up.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
But in Macedonia here our students do exactly that and
it works. The kids still have fun hanging out with
their friends up in the stand and they're safe, and
you know, your kids are at the game and being
safe and not getting into trouble. And we are incidents
free here.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
In so so here's then here's the other side of it.
So Wadsworth, where I live, we we don't have that
rule and we're incident free as well.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
So I I guess I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Is there an incident that I don't know about that
happened at a high school football game?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Am I missing something?
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Stuff that break out?
Speaker 5 (11:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Sure, but kids are idiots. They're gonna some kids are
gonna fight.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
I mean, but it gid's bad, and I mean it's
some schools there's been weapons pool Okay.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
See, I don't I didn't know. I didn't know where
where that happened. I haven't heard those stories. So maybe
I just, you know, maybe I've got my head in
the hole sometimes when it comes to that sort of thing.
Was there an incident in Medina that I missed that
you know of?
Speaker 4 (11:36):
I don't think it was Medina, no, okay.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
But it was like a local one here?
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Yeah, local enough?
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Yeah, I'm did you read the story? Did you hear
me talking about it? Only?
Speaker 4 (11:44):
I just heard you talk okay about it?
Speaker 1 (11:46):
And that's that's what I got to figure out.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I don't know, like, how do you enforce this with
with non Medina students and parents? I get, I get
it's their building, but like even their notice isn't clear.
It says Madina City students have to abide by this,
so like the Wadsworth kids don't have to worry about it?
How does it work in Macedonia? Let me ask you that.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
I think it's just kind of like when you realize
that the kids are up in the stands, they stay
in the stands and you don't really travel onto the
other side side of the field, unless if you're actually sure.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
In Macedonia, how does it work? Are they?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Is it like the administrators over there, they're enforcing it
with their students and they don't really go on the
visitors side to worry about that.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Is that kind of how it works?
Speaker 4 (12:27):
It seems like all the other schools follow suit and yeah,
stay in the stands unless you're getting something to eat.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Also, so maybe they talk to the other administrators from
the other school and they helped to police it or
something like that.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
I'm not exactly sure how sure, but I believe there's
something to that extent, because yeah, there's never been any
major issues.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Okay, how long has Macedonia had it?
Speaker 4 (12:49):
I believe we're going on at least the second year
of doing it.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Well, yeah, I wasn't sure how many I think I
heard Brexfield did it. I didn't know how many other
schools did it. So that's like, again, not a sking
so much out of judgment and out of sure curiosity
for not knowing how the other places are doing it.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
You know what I mean? Yeah? Who's okay? Well, there
we go. Who's Macedoni you got tonight? Oh?
Speaker 4 (13:12):
You asked me a hard one. I do not remember
who we're playing.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
I know I'm going with the.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Last time of year in a game, Pamela.
Speaker 8 (13:19):
No, I've been going with. My son knows.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
I just do not know yet.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
I got you told me. I'm on the Google. I'm
on the Google. Now that's Nordonia. I spelled Macedonia. Can
anyone spell Macedonia? Oh it's Nordonia. We play you guys,
okay U.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Nordonia takes on Mayfield tonight.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
There we go, There you go.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Well I wouldn't say go Nordonia, but Wads's gonna play
you guys later, so I can't share if you I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
All right, Well, thank.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
You so much for chiming, and have a great day
you too. Bady Jeremia Show ninety six five Kiss FM.
We're talking about the Madonna Rules Madonna High School's first
home football game. They've limited what kids can do. They've
either got to with parents or be in the students section. Now,
from what I read it, it's just for me Dinah kids.
(14:06):
So I don't know how they're going to enforce this
with like because Wadsworth there tonight and I'm from Wadsworth.
That's why I'm kind of talking about it because I'm
it's interesting to me. Let me go to Lauren right
now on the show. She's in Manor.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Lauren, Hey girl, Hi, Hey.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Welcome into the program. Men are a big high school
football sport or high school football school?
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Yeah? Have you read football?
Speaker 2 (14:24):
So outside of me explaining what I read and what
I put on my Instagram, have you read this story yourself?
You are you kind of familiar with what's going on
in Medina tonight?
Speaker 5 (14:32):
No, I'm not familiar.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
So what are your thoughts from what I told you?
Speaker 5 (14:36):
Well, my thoughts are you know, when we were kids,
that was all great, but now it's just so unsafe.
I don't think kids should be running around alone. Secondly,
kids are very bold today and young kids are doing
bad things. So for those two reasons, I agree with that.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Now, are kids know it's bad?
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Are kids doing more bad things? Or are we just
hearing about it more? Because as of the internet. Let
me ask you that, because I did some pretty dumb
stuff as a kid, but there was no internet, so
no one found out about it.
Speaker 5 (15:07):
Yeah, but you know, they're doing more dangerous things today.
I think they're just bolder and there's too much Yeah,
there's too much internet. And one kid does something, the
other kids hear about it and they think, oh, I
don't think i'll do that too.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
I mean, one of my buddies did jump off a
roof when we were filming a backyard wrestling video.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
So I mean, I don't know how much much ice
than that. Maybe we're respecting. But here's the thing. Let
me let me ask you this. Let me ask you this.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
So now, obviously you mentioned that things are more dangerous
at these now than they used to be.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
Is there an instance that.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
I missed at a high school football game in our
state where something bad has happened in the past two
or three years? I honestly, I'm asking the question out
of sheer, not knowing the.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Answer to it.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
Well, I don't know the answer either, and I'm speaking
in generality for.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Sure, of course. No, I get the world is a
more dangerous place, but like are we are we making
rules for something, for something, or a situation where there
doesn't need to be rules yet because nothing has happened.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Does that make sense what I'm trying to say.
Speaker 9 (16:14):
Yes, But the thing is we're talking about prevention, sure,
and we don't want to wait until something happens and
then we say, oh, we should have had that in place.
You know, I get it, trying to protect everybody.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Now, do we think that prevention of not letting little
middle schoolers run around is going to really stop anything big?
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Because what are middle schoolers going to do? Keep each
other in the ball?
Speaker 5 (16:39):
No? No, I don't think that would stop anything big,
but it could stop something for sure, I think.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
To me, To me, and this is just my opinion.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
I'm just a dude, and I'm lucky enough to have
a job on the radio, so I get to shout
my opinion every once in a while. To me, it
feels like an over correction, like I don't Again, I'm
not saying nothing bad will ever happen, But do we
need to be this strict because of a maybe?
Speaker 1 (17:04):
And what is the maybe?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Because they again, nothing was cited as far as an
incident or anything, and maybe maybe there was an incident.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
I did not see about.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
But I'm pretty I've got my head on a swivel
in the world about a lot of these things. So
I don't remember if anything happening in a high school
football game. It just feels to me like an over
correction for something. I have such good memories of going
to Friday night football games, and I'm sure you being
up in menor you do as well, And I feel
like these kids aren't gonna get that now, right.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
Yeah, it's true, they're gonna miss out on a lot,
but I don't know, you know what, who knows what's
And you know what, I'm very conservative and very conservative,
so normally I'm not in favor of more rules and
more government and more this and that. But I just
I don't know. I just think too much stuff happens nowadays,
(17:54):
and I just it could be scary.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
I get.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
But here, here's the great thing about living living where
we live. You and I can do agree about how
this rule is, but we can still be friends. And
you can still listen to me being an idiot on
the radio every day. Absolutely love it well, and I
appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
For doing it.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
I enjoy listening.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
You're the best. You're the best. Well, I hope you
have a great weekend. Thank you so much for calling
in Haven. Thanks so Jeremiah Show on Cleveland's party station.
We're ninety six to five Kiss FM.

Speaker 8 (18:36):
Yeah, It's all about Cleveland today, Jeremiah.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
I'm from Cleveland Fest, the first annual. I'm going to
stand up because I get this monitor in my way.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
I can't see.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Get over there monitor. All right, there we go, first annual.
I'm from Cleveland Fest. I mean, I'm from Cleveland. You
guys have had such a presence in this city for years.
But I'd say, what over the past five years, you
guys are just you've exploded. Yeah, content is second to none,
and you guys, you're dipping your toe.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
We're going back to the roots. We're going back to
the music.
Speaker 8 (19:04):
What started all this was was showcasing talented musicians from Cleveland.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
I Mean people don't realize, but like Cleveland is such
a you know, if you know, but if you don't know.
You don't realize how much of an arts down Cleveland is.
So many artists and many.
Speaker 8 (19:20):
Talented, So many talented musicians don't get the chance, and
this is the time of just like one. It's a
large show, it's a large festival, but it's one big
step into doing exactly what often Cleveland was all about,
was getting the.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Music seen to be even bigger than it ever was.
I love it. I love it. We've got a huge
line up. I mean it's it's starting all day.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
We've got We've gotten a Dean just aj, We've got
Fresh Yew, We've got Trupidelic. They were in earlier this
week Austin Mills and then a very special little situation
with Ev and Rook, which I'm PopEd for. Rook Rook.
What do we have in story?
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Dude?
Speaker 2 (19:52):
What are we playing? Give me, give me some juicy
deets on what's going on?
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Wait? Actually I got it. I've been dying to ask
you this question.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Is it the hey for hamachi krudo or the love
for cheeseburgers?
Speaker 1 (20:02):
What is it? It's a love? I did die and
ask you, dude, I've been dying.
Speaker 6 (20:07):
What do you put on your cheeseburger, Relish American cheese
or prepper Jack cheese.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
If it's an option. I like a medium, fun.
Speaker 6 (20:18):
Preferred medium, rare, over here burger, dangerous burger, bleeding on
the plate, man with the heartbeat, Okay, give.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
Me the blood on the side to how many how

a core that works over your Wi Fi only a
proof people can call it to. You can control the
outgoing calls as well. And they've got I mean, I
was looking at the Instagram. They've got so many different options.
(24:02):
I mean it's a playoff of the tin cans. You
know when you used to remember when you remember when
used to be able to take like two cans in
time together and you could hear each other on a string.
Is that was that really a thing? So that's where
the name comes from. But I mean, if you had
a phone in the nineties, you've got one of these,
(24:24):
and now you can get one for your kid. It
works on one. Gosh, dang it. Now I want one. Oh,

It's actually comparable to tiny sonic booms because the food
is breaking up at the speed of sound. That's where
the boom comes from. Now like a chewy sound I wanted.
