Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Jubile Show on demand.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Sometimes you comment things on social media and you don't
expect people to call you up about it. Yeah, I
mean a lot of times. I actually it's a Jubile
Show by the way. I there's this segment that I've
been wanting to do for a while where if somebody's
getting trolled on social media, we do whatever I have
to do. Higher detectives somehow track down whoever the troll
(00:24):
is and then confront them.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
I mean, I think we can do that. We do
it with cheeters. I can't imagine how we couldn't figure out.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
How to do it that way. Well, because I've seen
it happen on social media. You know, somebody will find
out who's their troll is, and then they'll show up
their place of business be like, hey, hi, right, I'm here.
Now would you like to say it to my face?
Because a lot a lot of people who say things
online are willing to stay in there and actually say
it to your face. I'm impressed by people who will
do that because I'm that type of person, like if
I say something about somebody, they call me out. I'm
(00:53):
always I've always been like, yeah I said it. Here's
why and then have a conversation, right, And I appreciate
reasonable people, and some of our listeners are incredibly awesome. Yeah, absolutely,
And I want to highlight one of those people right now.
His name is Kevin, and he's on the phone right now.
He has been very active on Instagram. He's asked a
(01:16):
lot of questions. And actually the whole thing I think
started because Nina joined the show. And Nina and I
go back a long time. Nina is one of the
people I've known the longest in my life, honestly, one
of one of my oldest friends. Ye really, and so
Nina joined the show. I introduced Nina that way, and
(01:37):
then the troll has started and the internet hate started.
That happens whenever you start a new show like this,
when you work in media or in the public, right
as soon as you start a new thing, people cannot
stand you last worked in Chicago.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
I worked in Atlanta, and sorry, but yeah, every time
I've started a new show, I understand it's because it's changed,
you know, And it's hard for a lot of people
to accept, especially when they don't know what's going on.
But I've learned to not take it personal. But I
also do want to know, like what your concerns are,
like how can we help?
Speaker 2 (02:12):
What's the problem? And it is hard. I mean I've
seen people have complete meltdowns because of hate that they
get on the internet. I mean, Nina, you take it
all because, like you said, it's I know, it's not personal.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
I mean it hurts still. Let me be honest. Yeah,
I'm human.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
I don't like to see that I'm horrible, or that
I have my personality is too big, or like go
home and die, like you know, I don't like those things.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Dam right. Yeah, somebody actually did tell Nina to die,
and I was like, dude, that is ridiculous. It's a
radio show, okay. And the weirdest thing for me is
sometimes people will say they're a fan of mine and
then they'll just dump on somebody on the show and
(02:54):
I'm like, well, they're a reflection of me. This is
the Jubiles show, right, Obviously was involved in bringing them
on the show. I want them here. So please don't
tell my co host to die. Think you don't tell
my friend to die. I would appreciate that because I
(03:14):
would like her to be around. It's incredibly rude. But
there are some listeners out there. I like to highlight
the positive and everything. So I want to highlight one
of our listeners who was upset at first and then
was very rational and apologized and said, hey, the reason
that I'm fresh while let him tell it. It's his
name is Kevin. Kevin.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
What's that?
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Man? They are good?
Speaker 2 (03:36):
You sound tired, keV.
Speaker 7 (03:39):
Yeah, when you actually a hard worker in this generation
does a lot to you.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
You just get off work.
Speaker 7 (03:47):
Yeah, okay, okay, so you worked, you worked the overnight shift.
Yeah for now. Eventually they go off Snority base, so
probably both five or eight years of that before it
can be no normal on the base shift.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I used to work overnights is it's super hard shift.
But thank you for coming on the show man, I
appreciate it. So, uh you, I guess so, Nina, you
can tell it because you were talking to Kevin and
you were telling me, so I said, well, let's call
it Kevin up.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
No, Kevin's been really great. Like I just noticed that
he had expressed concern on a lot of different posts.
So I just started asking questions and Kevin actually had
really good feedback for me. Because Kevin, what was it
about me that was annoying you the most.
Speaker 7 (04:33):
I think the biggest thing is when you continued to
do the show and like the first day, follow up
and whatnot, it was suddenly, instead of getting their whole story,
you'd start talking over them and start judging what's the
situation is before you actually to figure out, you know,
actually what's going on, like where they're coming from. So
(04:54):
I feel like you're a little too excited to jump
the gun to say, you know, letting them talk, letting
them express. But yeah, I don't know if it just
had something to do with the whole like situation or yeah,
I forgure out what's going on.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
But you know, that's how as a perception can do.
It can make you see things differently, right, Because dude, Kevin,
I get hate for that a lot. People are like,
shut up and let them talk because I'm always butting
in with stupid jokes. Right, But Kevin, how long have
you listened to me?
Speaker 7 (05:29):
Probably when I started English seven was on the show, Okay,
so that was quite a while back.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yeah, so you're probably used to that with me, But
since Nina's new, you notice it and you're like, shut up.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Right, But you know why I loved it and it
was so refreshing to hear Kevin seriously thank you because,
as I mentioned to him, when you work in with
different shows and in different studios, the energy that it's
expected of you is different.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
So my last show, I needed to be a lot.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
More ah, but here I don't have to do so
it's like, you know, just finding my way.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
And so I'm still new, guys, this is the third week.
It's a process, you know. Yeah, And I know the
show has had a lot of changes, and Kevin, thank
you for like sticking around through them. And you said
that it was originally just you were you were on
social media talking to Nina and being like you're you're
annoying or whatever, and you did have like a good
(06:22):
conversation with her after which I respect. I respect anybody
that can go yeah, I said it, here's why. So
was that just was that the only frustration or what
other frustrations have you had? Kevin?
Speaker 7 (06:35):
I think we're a lot of that coming from, like said,
our work over night. So when I get off, I'm
able to listen to your show where I'm going home,
and it's actually really enjoyable. And this newer person kind
of threw off my vibe a little bit. So like
when I go to comment on you guys with like
Instagram pace, that's probably where a lot of negativity it
(06:55):
came from. But once I'm able to sleep on it,
and then once I was able to reach out next
ye a better conversation, to channel differently and more constructively
instead of just say hey, don't do this, right.
Speaker 8 (07:10):
They say alive.
Speaker 7 (07:11):
Obviously I follow them on social media, but it's just
like they're just gone, and it's like that wasn't really addressed. Yeah,
I think the fans are wondering about that.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
I know that's one of the things that does bug
me about radio. And I don't know why. In this instance,
I like listened because a lot of times the corporate
like higher up people would just like you just you
ignore it, right, And I've never done that in my career. Really,
I've always talked about it if if if I was
on a show, somebody left, I was like, why would
(07:39):
we just I mean, people listen, they're gonna know, let's
just talk about it whatever. I know that for me,
I got fired from my last job and they did
the same thing. They didn't address or whatever. It made
sense because I was like the host of the show
made a little bit more sense. But some of the
things that they did was like really weird about how
they tried to cover up how I left, and that
(08:01):
was so strange to me, and I never wanted to
do that, and I guess I realized I kind of
did that. So I left some people hanging, and I
left our listeners going like, are you ever going to
address it? Here's the deal. This show is still new, right.
This is really my first show that I've had that
is an opportunity to stand on my own, the Jewbil Show.
(08:22):
I've been paired up with people, and I've been hired
for jobs, and we are hiring a staff, and you know,
we work for a big corporation too. Sometimes that involves
money and budget cuts and things like that that you
can't control at all. So those things have happened right
where they downsize and there's nothing you can do about it. Also,
(08:47):
people have left for better opportunities. Can't hate on that,
you know, And so it's like a normal job almost,
you know, Like it's like, if you're listening to this show,
I kind of like to look at it and it's
time for your phone.
Speaker 9 (09:00):
Brank.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
I know that I'll get to that in a second.
But I like to look at things in a good way,
Kevin all the time, kind of like sounds like you
do when you get enough sleep because working overnights. Dude,
I felt the same when I worked overnights right until
I got some sleep. But I like to look at
things in a good way and go it's normal life, right,
(09:22):
Like I don't want to hide anything from anybody, And
everybody that has been on this show and is doing
something else, we're all cool, like we're still friends. Actually
a lot of people say that, but it's not really
the truth, right. They don't ever talk anymore. Nothing. I
just texted Christian the other day. I live with my wife, Alex.
(09:45):
We're still married, right. She's doing her things. She's got
some exciting stuff she's doing. Radio was never really her thing, right,
She did it because she was with me and I
saw talent, right. But she's got some cool stuff that
she's doing. And I'm not trying to clip anybody's wings, right,
So if you want to move on and you want
(10:05):
to go somewhere else, fly, I'll help you, you know.
And I do feel bad that I haven't really addressed it.
So the answer is is it's like turnover. There's been
a lot of turnover, but most of it is stuff
that really couldn't control, right, because I'm not going to
(10:26):
control somebody's dreams and I can't control budget cuts. So
does that answer the question? Okay for you, Kevin?
Speaker 7 (10:35):
Yeah, I definitely see where you're coming from. I think
something that would definitely help lighten the mood and move
forward from this whole thing is Victorious are writing jokes again?
Because I absolutely love them and wrong.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
I would love that. All right, Kevin, We'll make sure
Victoria does a joke for you every day. Thanks man,
I appreciate, I appreciate you. Dude. Get some sleep, Okay,
thank you, Kevin. I have a good one. He's exhausted.
Working overnights is terrible.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
I know the Jubile show on demand.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
It's time for What's Trending with Nina. Oh we're just
going like that this time. Yeah, I didn't have, you know,
I worked hard on my thank you for wiping up
my urine song. I didn't have, but I can. Maybe
I'll play the start of that for your what's trending? Okay, alright,
what what's trending? Nina?
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (11:31):
There are changes coming to Netflix. Did you know that
they still mail out DVDs for people who want them?
They do, they do. I had no idea until September.
Because that is officially coming to an end. You won't
be able to get any more DVDs in the mail now.
This is the other thing too, Who's work? Who's Netflix? Password?
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Do you have?
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Because they've been looming and teasing about how they're going
to start charging people for sharing passwords and that's apparently
happening for real, for real now and then couple weeks.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
I mean, that's gonna suck because most people don't use
their own password. I know who's Okay? I have a password,
and I think people use mine. Me too, You're sugar Daddy,
and I need to cut them off from my password.
Probably we just changed your password. Oh I could do that,
except I don't remember my password. I'll have to hit
(12:24):
them up and they're gonna be like, why are you
trying to change it?
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:26):
There you go. Who's still getting DVDs in the mail
from Netflix? So that surprises me? I haven't. I don't
know the last time I saw a DVD player?
Speaker 4 (12:35):
I know, do you have one?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
No?
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Don't people use like Xbox and stuff for that. Yes, yeah, okay,
that's whoa wild. Do you know what a DVD is Victorias?
Speaker 10 (12:47):
Yeah, I learned that they got shipped in the mail
from this show like.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
A while back. Yeah. I remember Victoria's space when she
found out. I was like, what they they zent DVD's
in the mail?
Speaker 7 (13:00):
Wild?
Speaker 2 (13:02):
All right?
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Where you know the Jubil Show on demand?
Speaker 4 (13:06):
It's another Jewbile phone.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Frank Mornings on the twenties.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Hello, Yes, Hello, I was looking for Sean speaking. Hi Sean,
how are you? This is Ted Thibadeu. I'm one of
the people in the party that rented your boat for
the next few days.
Speaker 6 (13:31):
Okay, Yeah, So I.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Thought I should call you and just kind of let
you in on some details that I think I need
to let you know when I feel obligated to make
this phone call since I was, since I was on
board when it happened, I'm just gonna go ahead and
cut to the chase. That boat is capsized.
Speaker 11 (13:52):
That boat is capsized.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Yes, that boat is capsized.
Speaker 11 (13:56):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (13:58):
That boat is currently floating the wrong way up. Actually,
it's capsized real good, and it's probably gonna sink here
in a minute, I'm looking at a phone. Call to
you right away.
Speaker 11 (14:11):
Hold on, what what what did you do to the boat?
The boat was perfectly fine. Like, what are we talking about?
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Did you ever do any fishing?
Speaker 11 (14:19):
Yes, yes, I went fishing. What the hell that got?
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Well? You know how when you fish sometimes if you
get a little too close, it can it can go
ahead and pop that boat right over on his head.
Get too close to what dynamite? Sorry, well, you know
the explosion that the dynamite does give off in the water.
Speaker 11 (14:38):
Dynamite. What the what are you doing with dynamite on
my boat?
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Well, what happened was we was fishing. We saw a
school of fish swimming on bine, and we decided to
do less fishing more catching, if you know what I mean.
Speaker 11 (14:50):
So, my friend, yo, who the fishes with dynamite.
Speaker 8 (14:54):
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Tommy?
Speaker 8 (14:56):
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 2 (14:57):
My friend Tommy, he's fishing with dynamite. I said, Tommy,
you made sure you throw that down to my real
far out there, so those fish flow to the top.
We'll go over. We will take this boat over to
the fish, since we rented this boat. But Tommy through
the dynamite and way too close to the boat. That
explosion happened, fish everywhere, and then the boat just capsized
and I'm looking at it and it is dead. That
boat is gone, and I'm so sorry about that. That
(15:19):
was a mistake.
Speaker 11 (15:20):
No no, no sorry, no no, no sorry. Is not going
to fix my boat?
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Well, yes, I don't think anything. It's gonna fix it
now it is under the water. It is dead gone.
Speaker 11 (15:29):
Oh my god.
Speaker 12 (15:30):
I know.
Speaker 11 (15:30):
I shouldn't have never run in my boat out.
Speaker 8 (15:33):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, we were definitely you know, we would definitely reinbust
you for the boat. I'm sure it's expensive boat as well.
You know, I do have something I do have. I
do have a boat that I could loan you in
the meantimes.
Speaker 11 (15:45):
I don't want your debt. If you had, you had
a pissing me up. If you had a boat, the
hell you needed to brint mine.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
So my boat has a hole in the side of
it because Tommy did the same thing the other day.
You can't believe it. We got that boat out in
time because that boat is smaller than your boat. But
your boat dead gone. So I don't know what to
do now. I'm so sorry. If you get it, instruct
me on the next thing I should do. I'd appreciate
it because we want to make sure to take care
of this for you.
Speaker 11 (16:10):
Well, maybe you need to keep your land. That's that's
what we're gonna start with. That you need to stay
on land and stay right where you at because.
Speaker 8 (16:19):
I don't give it.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
No where we're going to go right now. We just
we swam a shore us somewhere. Fishing with dynamite is catching.
It's more catching than fishing if you fish dynamite. You
know what I'm saying. That's the way we do it.
And they you know, normally we didn't have this problem.
You know what.
Speaker 11 (16:32):
I'm hanging up the phone right now. I'm on my
way to the dock, and you better predy guard and
you better swear and prety guard and hope that the
police get to you before I get to my boat.
I'm on my damn way right now.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
But then I'll just let you know. This is actually
Jewel from the Jewbil Show doing your phone. Frank on
you and your wife Maria set you up.
Speaker 12 (16:50):
A man the show man, Yo, do that.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
It's a joke. She said that man you started renting
your boat out on the website. We're nervous about the
people that rented it this weekend.
Speaker 11 (17:02):
So, uh, man, why do that? Yeah, my blood prushing
up and everything. I was about to be on my way,
downd Man, you.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Ever try fishing with dynamite though? It's really a good
way to catch fish.
Speaker 11 (17:13):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
At the Jubile Show on Demand First Day follow.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Up, Damien is on the phone today for a first
date follow up. He's getting ghosted by a woman named Serena,
So we're going to see if we can find out
why and maybe get him another date if he still
wants one. After he finds out why, Damien was up man,
thank you for your email. Before we get into your date,
how long has it been since you talked to Serena.
Speaker 8 (17:39):
It's been about two weeks.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Love two weeks.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
That's kind of a sweet spot, you know, you start
to really panic at the two week point.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (17:47):
I didn't want to like rush or anything, but I am.
I am. Once. When I heard y'all we're looking for,
you know, things like this, I was like, I want
to try and reach out.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Okay, we'll tell us a little bit about Serena and
why you think you're getting ghosted.
Speaker 8 (18:01):
Like, honestly, I think I'm a pretty self aware guy,
and I am puzzled as to what's going on because
we went I took her on a date to a
wine bar, and first of all, actually she is a
friend of a coworker of mine, and so I took
her to a wine bar and it was pretty casual.
I thought we had great conversation, and let me just say,
(18:22):
she is absolutely stunning. She's beautiful. But more importantly, I
just thought that she was really intriguing and she was
a little shy. I could tell she was a little nervous,
But overall, I thought the date went really well, and
I was surprised when she just left in the middle
of it.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
She just left in the middle of your date.
Speaker 8 (18:42):
Yes, Like she went to the bathroom and was just gone.
I'd say probably like we were three quarters the way
through the state, and I thought everything was going like wonderful,
and then all of a sudden, She's just gone.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Did it seem like something that had happened.
Speaker 8 (18:56):
I did notice that, like something came up and she
was like looked like maybe like halfway through she got
a text or something, and something looked a little frantic.
So maybe something came up and now she's like maybe
too shay to reach out or something. But yeah, I
mean like she she was kind of texting a bunch
and then we talked a little bit more. She went
to the restroom and then she was gone.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
I mean, either you really sucked in her mind or
you know, something did did happen.
Speaker 8 (19:22):
I will be the first to admit, you know, like
my bad, but I really don't think that's the case.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
If you're running out on somebody, how do you redeem
yourself after that?
Speaker 8 (19:31):
I just hope something like came up. I asked my
friend about it too, and he said he hasn't heard
from them, and so I'm not really sure what's going on.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Uhh, Yeah, it must have been something then with the
phone or the text message.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yeah, did it seem like she was distracted? I mean,
was you know, was she getting a lot like? Did
it look like an emergency happened? Is what I mean?
Did it look like there was something she was paying
attention to so much on her phone where all of
a sudden she just had to go If.
Speaker 8 (19:56):
It was an emergency. She played it off pretty well.
But I will say, like the first, like, you know,
hour or so, like we were talking and she wasn't
really on her phone at all, and then she started
like getting on her phone a bunch and so like
that was like noticeable, but it didn't, I don't know,
it didn't seem like it was necessarily anything too crazy
(20:17):
to the point where like, you know, she went to
the bathroom and then I was there for another forty
five minutes before I was like, I think she's.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
Gone, Oh wow, one of the Okay, that's where that's
got to be awkward.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Yeah, I'm sorry to me. And that's worse than ghosting.
You got like what is it called leaving the mail
of a date ditched?
Speaker 8 (20:34):
Yeah, I would have thought like at least a heads
up or something, but I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah, that would be a common courtesy. So since that happened,
how many times have you tried to reach out to her?
Speaker 5 (20:44):
You know?
Speaker 8 (20:44):
I texted her a couple of times really, just like
early on, like maybe a week ago, but I haven't
wanted to like blow her up or anything like that,
so I just kind of let it be. Then I've
still been thinking about it, So that's why I reached
out to y'all.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
I'd be more work read at this point than anything else,
because that's just too strange.
Speaker 8 (21:03):
Yeah, I mean I am kind of worried. I mean, like,
I guess I'm worried about her, but you know, I'm
also like, is there something wrong with me?
Speaker 7 (21:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (21:11):
I would want to do that too, right, All right,
we'll try to figure out for your play a song
come back, and then call her and see if we
can figure it out and get you another date if
you still want one.
Speaker 6 (21:19):
Okay, sound good?
Speaker 2 (21:20):
All right, we'll play a song, come back and get
your first day follow up next. Right in the middle
of your first day follow up and if you're just
joining us, Damien is on the phone, and Damien is
getting more than ghosted by Serena. He actually got ditched
in the middle of his date by Serena, and he
doesn't know why. Damien. Before we call her to see
if we can figure it out, just refresh everybody's memory.
Run down real quick. How your date went.
Speaker 8 (21:42):
Yeah, my friend set me up with the date we
went to awarded. I guess she got a text message
or something and started maybe freaking out a little bit,
and a little after that went to the restroom and
never came back and trying to hit her up, and
that's when I reached out field.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
That was it? Like, no response. I just want to
know what it was me too. All Right, we're about
to call her, Damien.
Speaker 8 (22:02):
You ready, Yeah, I'm ready?
Speaker 2 (22:04):
All right, Here we go. Hello, Hi, man, I speak
to Serena. Hey, Serena, how are you? This is Jewbil
from the Jebel Show. It's a radio show.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Hi, Serena.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
My name's Nina. I'm here too, Nina Serena. See we
could be friends. Hi, I'm Njoya. So there's three people
on the phone.
Speaker 6 (22:34):
With you in Oh wow, okay, hie.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Are you familiar with the show at all?
Speaker 6 (22:39):
A little bit? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Have you ever heard the segment that we do called
a first date follow up before?
Speaker 6 (22:45):
Oh gosh? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Oh so we got an email about you from somebody
that you're ghosting. Have you ran out on the date recently?
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Oh my gosh a little more than okay?
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Yeah, horrifying.
Speaker 6 (23:07):
This is like the worst case start.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Damien emailed us and he is wondering what he did,
like why you just ran out on your date with him?
Speaker 6 (23:16):
Oh?
Speaker 13 (23:17):
Oh no, okay, okay, let's breathe really quick together. Okays,
Oh my gosh, Okay, No, it had nothing to do
with Jamie.
Speaker 14 (23:34):
I mean he's there. I mean he's not there, but
he can hear me. I guess you had nothing to
do with.
Speaker 6 (23:40):
Him for a week.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
So you have heard a few of these.
Speaker 6 (23:45):
Yeah, no I have.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
I can tell because you know that he's on the
other line listening and wants to talk to you.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Let's not put the pressure on yet.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
I feel like, let's let him listen, I agree, before
we put him on point Nina.
Speaker 14 (23:56):
Yeah, you know you had nothing to do with It's
just really embarrassing. I was really excited about this date.
My friend works with Damien, so I really wanted to
look nice and I don't really have a lot of
you know, like nice.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
Dress up stuff. So I borrowed some clothes from her.
Speaker 14 (24:18):
And it was like a really low cut body suit.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
Yeah, it was as cute until it wasn't.
Speaker 14 (24:29):
At one point I reached like to get some water,
and it like fell open and.
Speaker 6 (24:38):
I had like I had a wardrobe.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Malfunction, a little slippy slip, like a nip slip.
Speaker 14 (24:46):
Yeah, I know he saw it, like, I know, he
looked straight at me, and I was just it was
way more than I'm not like that.
Speaker 6 (24:56):
I didn't.
Speaker 14 (24:56):
I don't dress up like that at all, and I
sure don't you know, strip No. I was mortified. So
I started texting my roommate about I mean, I can't
believe that you made me wear this, and now I'm
you know.
Speaker 6 (25:16):
I just I look like a stripper.
Speaker 14 (25:17):
And so I just excused myself to the bathroom and
then I couldn't. I just couldn't come back to the table.
I was just so embarrassed that I knew he'd seen me.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
You know, are you're sure he saw you? I know
he saw me, like he smiled, you know, he smiled
at me, and I was just like, I mean, she
was playing it off, but I was just, oh, it
was horrible.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
It's definitely an embarrassing moment. Just to make you feel
better really quickly, just to know that you're not alone.
I have actually split my pants on a date, wide
open in the back, and I was wearing a thong
and it was completely visible, to the point that he
had to go to his car to get me a
hoodie to tie around my waist. And I was wearing
a nice outfit to make sure people didn't see my butt.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
So so you're not alone. This kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
It happens, this is your first day, even if it
was your first date. Though, I find it hard pressed
to believe that most people would judge somebody for that
on a first date. Right, it just happens. It's an accident.
Well what if it happened to you, Jubell.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Let's pretend that you were single and you went on
a date with somebody and all of a sudden they
had a little oopsie.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Right, are you cool with that? Yeah? Yeah, and not
even not in a pervy way. Sure, right, but I
would try to make the vocal. I would actually look
at it as an opportunity to like, watch, I'm going
to show her understanding I am, and then maybe I'll
get to see him for real later, you know, I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
I asked my question because you know Ju will be like,
it's okay, his pants down restaurant.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Well, maybe we should talk to Damien. Yeah, see if
he even saw it.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Srina, you already know he's on the other line listening,
so we'll just bring him on Damien.
Speaker 8 (26:59):
Yeah, I just want to go. I didn't like clear
the area. I had no idea that this happened, Like,
honest to god, I had no idea.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
I'm serious.
Speaker 8 (27:10):
I know you said that I like smiled and played
it off, but like, I don't know if like I
just wasn't looking like I feel like that's something I
would have noticed. But I swear to god, I had
no idea that that appened.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
Oh my gosh, does that make you feel better?
Speaker 6 (27:24):
Serena, Yes, yeah, I mean it does. I'm so sorry
that I left.
Speaker 14 (27:32):
I just I was mortified. I just I just wanted
the words.
Speaker 6 (27:37):
Of like, swallow me up. I was so horrified by it.
Speaker 8 (27:41):
And I also just want to say that I thought
that you looked like fantastic and that jumped so it
was you look incredible by night.
Speaker 6 (27:48):
Well thank you. I'll never be wearing it again, but
thank you. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (27:53):
Like, I really had no idea, and I thought I
like I sat there puzzled, Like when I finally realized
you weren't coming back, I was like, what did I do?
Speaker 1 (28:01):
That?
Speaker 8 (28:01):
Like really screwed up the state because I thought it
was I thought it was going really well. I thought
we really connected.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
No, it really was, and it's just me. It was
just me. I was just I couldn't. I felt like
I couldn't come back from that and I'm really sorry.
I should have I should have said something.
Speaker 14 (28:15):
But I honestly felt like I couldn't even I couldn't
even come back from the table after that.
Speaker 8 (28:20):
It's okay, I get I'm sure that's yeah, that would
be really really tough to like try and cover up
with if you thought that's what was going on. And I, yeah,
I get it.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
You see, That's what I've noticed about, especially when things
like that happen, people are self conscious about it because
they know what happened. Yeah. Most of the time, people
aren't even checking for it and they didn't see it
at all. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:41):
Yeah, I didn't know what to say.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Hey, Serena, would you like another date with Damien now
that you know he didn't see it and it wasn't
awkward for him because he didn't even see it at all.
And he's also really liked you and it's been wondering
why you ran out.
Speaker 6 (28:55):
That would be great, absolutely sweet, Dailien.
Speaker 8 (28:59):
Yeah, soth's great. Yeah, let's let's we can go maybe,
like we'll go walk in the park and we can
wear big sweatshirts or something so we don't have to
worry about it, you know.
Speaker 6 (29:08):
Thank you, Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
You're so cute, Serena.
Speaker 6 (29:15):
Oh, thank you, guys, I really appreciate it so much better.
I'm so sorry, Damon, I'm really not like that. I'm
not I'm not just.
Speaker 8 (29:26):
I'm looking forward to.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
I mean to thank you so much giving me another chance.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
The Gibil Show on demand.
Speaker 8 (29:35):
Dirty Little Secret.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Hello, hey, Hey, what's up? You have a dirty Little Secret?
Speaker 6 (29:53):
Yeah? Okay, can I go ahead? Oh yeah.
Speaker 9 (29:58):
So basically this segment is like more like a motivation
factor for my husband and myself to go to the
gym every day so that way we can listen to
this show. So over the time, we started hand picking
these secrets from your listeners, and we eventually made it
our own. But now it's just not like little anymore,
you know, because it has a lot of other small
(30:20):
secrets together.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
And so okay, so what what dirty Little secret is it?
Speaker 6 (30:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (30:26):
So a few of them that we like religiously follow
now are like, you know, billing for non organic produce,
but we only pick organic. And the other instance is
like replacing all the broken stuff or you know, the
stuff that I don't want any more back to the
store without even bothering to pay. And the next one
is like, we actually use my husband's office as literally
(30:50):
our costco and staples. We just go there and we
know where the supplies are we we want.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
To, So here're actually using the information in the dirty
little secrets other people do and you're like, that's a
good one.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
We should do that, right, Yeah, I mean that's such
an amazing secret.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
It's more like.
Speaker 9 (31:08):
A life hack that.
Speaker 6 (31:13):
Why not, George?
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, I mean yeah, some of them are great live acts,
great ways to save money. You know, that's one way
to think about it.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
You know, who hasn't stolen toilet paper from work before?
Speaker 6 (31:23):
You know? Yeah, that's pretty much our big little secret.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
Well, thank you very much for telling us. It's like
they're Bonnie and Clyde.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
The jubil Show on Demand.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
I asked the question yesterday at the same time, I
said what is the perfect I'm sorry I peed on
your stuff gift? And everybody was like what yeah, And
there was no real solid suggestions except for one of
our listeners. It's the Jubile Show. I should probably explain
if somebody didn't hear yesterday, and it's just joining us
(31:56):
why that was a topic and why I'm talking about
it in so I go to this wellness place a lot.
I do ivs. They have an oxygen tank where you
go in. It's a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, so they have
to it's sealed and it's pressurized, so it takes about
ten minutes to get out of it. You're in there
for an hour hour and a half. You can't really
(32:17):
get out to pee, and I have to pee a lot.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
I'm just getting visual every time you tell the story.
I'm just jewble in there, going what.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
Do I do? Yeah, And so I ended up having
an accident in the thing, and this dude named Andy,
who works there, was the employee working at the time,
had to clean it up. And I felt bad and
so awkward, you know, and I wanted to say sorry
and thank you for cleaning up my pee. So I
(32:47):
asked everybody, what a good sorry I peed on your
stuff gift was? We got some We got a lot
of stories about people that have had their stuff peede on.
Speaker 13 (32:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:55):
I didn't know that was such a thing. Yeah, it's
a thing.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
One of our listeners gave somebody their couch because they
peed on their couch. Yeah, And I was like, well,
I don't I'm not gonna give him a couch. Someone said,
you replace it with the thing that you peed on.
I'm not going to pay like ten thousand dollars or
however much it is for one of those oxygen tapers.
So another listener called and said, I had a boyfriend
one time that peed on my stuff and he ended
(33:21):
up making it better by giving me flowers and writing
me a song Lilies Lilies. Yeah, so I don't. I
didn't get anyto the lilies, but I did write a
song to this employee why to say I'm sorry that
I peed in the oxygen tank man, and thank you
for cleaning it up. That was above and beyond. And
(33:43):
I'm gonna say thank you to him or thank you
for cleaning it up and sorry about that through song.
And I'm about to call him right now. I cannot wait.
It's going to be so awkward. And then you guys
haven't heard this song. Now, I'm excited. Are you excited
to hear my sorry I peede apology song? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Because I feel like the soundtrack in your brain anyways,
like your life is a musical, so.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
It is, you know, in moments.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Yeah, And this is just an extension of sorry, peed
on your stuff in musical form.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
This is gonna be such an awkward phone call. All right,
hold on, let me get ready, I'm gonna I'm getting
just getting myself. I'm more not that I have to
work up the courage to be awkward.
Speaker 10 (34:26):
But can I ask what kind of song it is?
Speaker 14 (34:29):
Like?
Speaker 10 (34:29):
Are we talking like acoustic? Are we talking pop? Am
I gonna be able to like dance or like more mellow?
Speaker 2 (34:36):
I'll just let you hear it. Victoria, along with everybody.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
Else she wants to time.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I stuff which probably already exists.
It's probably the song is already out there that people's
worked too. But here we go. I'm gonna call him.
I'm gonna call the place right now. They're open and
hopefully he's working. If he's not working, no, no, no, no,
but here, I'm gonna dial the number.
Speaker 6 (35:01):
Well, this is Sarah. How can I help you?
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Hey, this is Jewbel.
Speaker 6 (35:10):
Okay, are you coming in front? Ivy?
Speaker 2 (35:12):
No? No, not today. I actually was gonna see is
Andy working today?
Speaker 6 (35:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Here? I'm not sure. Did you hear what happened with
the oxygen think the other day?
Speaker 6 (35:22):
Ew?
Speaker 2 (35:25):
Yeah, okay, I just want to talk to Andy real quick,
if I could, If that's cool, Yeah, give me a sea,
she said. Apparently they've all heard about it now, I
mean the whole world has now. Let's be real. Yeah, okay,
so we're on hold. How is it going to be
for this dude when he picks up and then I
play a song that I made to apologize to him
(35:47):
for being in the oxygen thing. I think it's the
least you can do. What's taking so long. I wonder
if someone else pete in there? Hey, Andy, it's Jewbel.
Speaker 8 (35:59):
Oh what's up?
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Hey? Not much? I know, I know you're working busy,
but I wanted to call you about the other day still, like,
I still feel really bad about you cleaning up you.
Speaker 7 (36:11):
Know, ah do That's fine, It's okay, don't worry about it.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Just play it. Okay, let's do it, right, Andy. What
I really wanted to say about the whole incident was this, Yeah,
here we go.
Speaker 12 (36:28):
I'm so sorry that up pat and the oxygen tanks
a place for breathing, not peeing, and I I made
a mistake, and and the and the I'm tolering. So
so I made a reggaeton b to say thank you
for cleaning up the oxygen tank that I peed and
in other words, thanks you for cleaning up my peed,
(36:49):
thank you for cleaning up my pe, thank you for
being hid to me, and thank you for taking that
time to wipe up my aran.
Speaker 8 (36:57):
Wiped up my urine.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
You'll wipe up my arn and.
Speaker 12 (36:59):
Your rent line for employe, you have the monthly costacks
a job that is real.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
Tough to wipe up.
Speaker 12 (37:05):
Someone's pee, especially if it's not your pee, to wipe
someone else's peak and my bladder this week, the stomach
is strong.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Number one customer serviceman all day long. That's candy. So
take you for wiping up my r un. You wiped
up my r run. Yeah, so there you go, Andy,
there you go. Amaze your song. Say, sorry, that was amazing.
Speaker 6 (37:32):
It's so weird.
Speaker 7 (37:33):
I mean, it's.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
Andy high.
Speaker 4 (37:37):
I'm sorry I had to jump in. I'm Jubile's friend, partner.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
What am I with? Friend? Yeah? Friend?
Speaker 4 (37:44):
Yeah, I'm Jeubel's friend Nina on behalf of Jubile.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
I just also wanted to apologize because I'm mortified on
behalf of him.
Speaker 8 (37:57):
You're crazy?
Speaker 2 (37:57):
Do you feel better now that he wrote you a sono?
Speaker 8 (38:00):
I mean, like now, dude, I don't even know if
I can look in the eye.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Now.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
I made it awkward.
Speaker 11 (38:10):
I've never nobody's ever ridden in a song, and let
alone for peeing.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
See man, the secondhand embarrassment on both sides is so
real right now, so awkward.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
I wonder what his face looked like while he was
sitting there listening to that song. Shop just like what
has happened?
Speaker 13 (38:32):
Now?
Speaker 2 (38:32):
You got to send him a copy though, I will. Yeah,
if you want a copy of it, you can download
it to We'll put it up on the h on
our Instagram. At the Jubel Show and you can get
that hot new track. Oh yeah, Victoria was dancing.
Speaker 8 (38:44):
I was.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
It might not be number one on the charts, but
it is about number one. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
The Jubil Show on demand
