Join me on the road as I sit down with Jose and Kayla from Aeternum, one of the most emotionally charged up-and-coming bands in the scene. We caught up in Harrisburg while they were out with The Killers Confession and Dogma, talking about what fans can expect from their live show, how they bring feminine rage and raw emotion to the stage, and why their music hits so many different feelings at once.

We get into everything from their first big tour, how AKC took them under their wing, what it means to connect with strangers every night, their approach to grief and vulnerability in their set, and what 2025–2026 looks like for the band. We even talk dream collaborations, lessons learned on the road, and how they’re building real relationships with fans. If you haven’t seen Aeternum live yet… fix that.

These performances hit. 🎧 Check out Aeternum and catch them on tour with The Killers Confession and Dogma.

with Come Fel podcast. I'm here with Jose and Kla
from Thank You and we're on tour right now with Who.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
We're on tour with The Killer's Confession and Dot Butter.
So we're here in Harrisburg. I believe have you any
of you guys? You guys have been on tour with
The Killers Confession before? What did explain? What the dynamic
here is? People walk in and you're on the bill.
What can people expect it from you guys? It's just
like a wall of energy from the from the get go.

(00:40):
It's it's just like different dynamics and all there. But
just come in and it's like you just feel the
vibe of it. It's been fantastic so far.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yeah, I think it's a really cool contrast to be
on the bill with Akac because it might not be
expected and like they're diehard fans maybe aren't expecting to
come in and see this like feminine rage. But the
reception it's been really cool and it's cool to kind
of be like the odd one out in this situation.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Now, this is what the second run with these guys. Yes,
so tell me about how you guys, you know, first
met or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
We got reached out to go on the road with
him back in April. So and the thing is we
jumped on.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
We were nervous.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Is our first real big boy tour, and they took
us under their wing. They've been friendly and great. I
guess we did something right as they invited us back out,
so wonderful. On where are you guys? Based out of Colorado? Colorado?
And you guys are on tour. We're on the East Goes.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
You guys are a little bit more West coast last time, right, Yeah,
we had.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
We got a little bit further in the Midwest, but
we scraped along California, came back around through Texas and
all that.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
So when did you guys start? What kind of genre
you guys? I've never heard of you guys before. Let's pretend, right,
and I put on eternam, right, not a turn them correct,
put on eternam, and I'm going to expect I.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Would say a multitude of emotions. We wanted to write
music that kind of expresses all emotions, not one. So
we have quiet, we have slow, we have fast, and
the main thing we want to go with it's not
sure or is this something I want to mosha dang
my head to? Or do I want to dance or
wonder or cry or cry? So kayla, And now we're

(02:15):
on camera, I can say this. You have this little
speech before one of your songs about grief and two.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Nights to row. Now I've teared up.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Oh my gosh, why does that make me happy? Am?

Speaker 4 (02:24):
I said? I'm proud of that.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I was gonna tell you earlier about forgot, but now
we're here, so yeah, so thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Oh I'm sorry, It's okay.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
No, this is perfect because people can't expect to feel
something from you guys, and you put it in your
performance every single night. And I'm here with you, guys,
and I'm proud to be here. I'm happy to be here.
When it comes to I guess the rest of twenty
twenty five, twenty twenty six, what can fans expect?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
I think this is going to be a really exciting
time for us, because you know, after coming out of
this like little hibernation after our first tour, we really
got to just kind of get an idea of like
what could have and when we all just like put
our heads together and produce these ideas that you know,
we're all taking part of in different ways. But I'm
excited for the rest of this year, the beginning of next.

(03:10):
I feel like having another notch under our belt of
just kind of playing in new places to new people
every night, you know, has given us this like perspective
of Wow, we really can connect, you know, to strangers,
and just being able to show what we've been working on.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I'm super excited. I know the guys are too.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Yeah, So any think you want to add, Oh, yeah,
I think it's just our target is how can we
be relatable?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
All our music is based off of something.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
That everybody feel like, yeah, we agree, we feel the
emotion or or something, and I think that that makes
it a little bit easier for to make us a
little more palatable.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yeah, And I was going to say one more thing,
like to speak on that like emotional part of the show.
I just think it's interesting, you know, I don't have
much experience in metal and rock really at all, so
I feel like a total newbie to it and being
in the seat.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Of like the creator, right, you get.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
To kind of pass like what new emotions can I
bring to this scene? Like what new perspective And maybe
somebody watching can relate in a way that you're not expecting.
So just opening that door for different interpretations and just
making it like this collaborative experience between us and the audience.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
It's been really cool.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Speaking of collapse, is there a future collab you would
like to do with any artists? And who would it be?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
And why? Oh my gosh, why is that?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Such as hunt obviously a close confession, but like akac
on dev.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Oh yeah, that guys from Benana's been really great. I'm
open to a multitude of things. I mean, if I
have my choice, I'd work with Danny Alfred or trend Resnor.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
But great picks, Caleb, I'm feeling so much pressure. Okay,
my first thought has to be in this moment, yes,
of course, like is that like I'm shooting for the stars,
but I mean we're dreaming here, right.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Okay, Okay, Now two tours so far, both with AKC.
What lessons have you learned from Tour one to Tour two?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
What have you learned by at least the relations that's
what I've seen here, which the first time we walked in,
we were strangers and they were nice and friendly with
us and kind of helped us guide lies and make
sure we didn't do anything wrong or you know, pressures on. Yeah,
and now it's been we're glad you're here, we've missed you.
It's like being accepted into a family. So I think
anything else is the relationships. And the same thing with

(05:22):
the fans has just been they're reaching to us and say,
we love what you're doing and all that. So it's
like that makes us want to keep going.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Okay, A lesson I've learned is to really stay as
like present in the moment as I can, even like
despite exhaustion and stuff, because people who come to these
shows like also want to feel heard, and even though
they're not on stage, they want to have that moment
of connection too, And it really is your job, like
as the artist to not only on stage, but even

(05:52):
afterwards in talking to people selling merch being open to
any form of connection and just like recognizing that these
people you know are looking for this same thing, So
being open and kind of keeping yourself grounded despite the hectic.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Well, you guys, definitely do great job live. You know,
I did come into you guys fresh on this tour
and I'm glad I did. Any final words you guys
want to say for fans, Oh, we're just gonna keep
pushing more stuff out there.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
We hope we like you like it, and I don't
think we're going anywhere anytime soon, so we're gonna keep
it chucking along.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
What he said, Thanks Kevin, of course, see turn them.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Appreciate you guys seeing a little bit the Turn Them.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Check him out.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
We're on tour right now with the Coach Confession Dogma
Dogmatic Confession Tour. We'll see you next time and shout.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Out to Kevin's amazing videos.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Hey, your boxings upside even better.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I don't know who the
