and Rudy and you guys are in land Marks and
you know you play loud in life. How's it feel?
How's it feel to be here? There's a lot of
I mean, is this your first Dating Winner Presents festival?
You'd tell our first American festival ever? No way, Yeah.
I just talked to Gilt Trip not too long and
they said the same exactly. How does that feel? He's great? Yeah,

(00:44):
I want to see.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
It's as big as a European festival. That's crazy, like
maybe even more, maybe even more like the lineup and.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Impressive, correct me if I'm wrong. France, Yeah, so we're right.
First France bands. Heck yeah, I talked to Europe and
I mean England and Australia and Canada and Mexico is
Now we're up the France. All right, let's go. So
what's the music scene like over in France? Is there
even that all?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Like it's not as recognized as gear.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Yeah, it's more like French and pop.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
But the middle scene, the modern middle scene is doing
well in France. We have a lot of good bands
and we're cheering right now with two of them novelists
and Resolve. They're pretty sick. Yeah, it's becoming something big
in France.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah, yeah, and obviously we have Gujira, Oh yes, of course. Yeah,
but yeah we are not that many bands like playing worldwide, right,
it's a smaller coat. Yeah, it's a small country. But
I think like you're out, like they are massive now
and it helps. It helped us, so we all touring

(02:02):
like around the world. Now we have some friends also,
so it's becoming something cool.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Like what's the biggest difference from playing I'm guessing you
guys it first festival, first the US festival here, first
US festival. So yeah, we guys played physical You're okay.
The biggest difference between the overseas festivals and this one.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
At the moment, I don't know, because it's the first one. Yeah,
and we had not that many times to check everything.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
It's so busy. Yeah, so I don't know if we
can then swear now that's okay. How have you been
treated since you got here? How's that proving? Good staff
and everything.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, everything's perfect. Everybody are friendly, well organized. So your
great first experience. You're wonderful.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
So you guys have that new ish album out, and
you know everyone's always asking when's the new stuff? Are
you already working on new stuff anything that you can share.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
We are not currently working on new stuffs. We are
more yet.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
During to say, you guys are focused laser focused on tour.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, yeah, on during we are still learning the new
songs after playing like.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
For the next tours and things.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
So yeah, so at the moment we just chill, I
mean chill, no, no, not writing music, so learning how
how to play the new songs and.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah that's it. Yeah. What's the favorite song to play
between you two? And why?

Speaker 3 (03:32):
We just the song Requiem from the new album.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
We just played it like three times.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah yeah, so for on the first three show of
this American tour, not not today, we had not enough time.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
I think it's gonna be my favorite one.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Yeah, it might be oh levels, oh yeah love as
we are playing this song during sound check to be
ready for the end of the the year on next year,
and it's gonna be a good one.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
I think. For me, it's like we are what do
you guys do in preparation for fastballs?

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Right?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Be this one? Overseas? Whatever? What's your pre show rich
warm like like during the day of the festival, during
the day, thirty minutes an hour before or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
I think we all have different things, but we all
like warm up, like physically physically in vocally too, Yeah,
they do vocal warm up.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
I'm just practicing. I have a practice but in Europe
I have like a big practice kid.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
So I played drums like two hours before the show.
Not not crazy things, just playing drums. So when I'm
on stage it feels like easy. Here I just have
like a snail practice pad because I don't have I
cannot have lots of things here.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
You didn't want to bring everything with you, Yeah yeah, but.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Like slowly I'm gonna buy new stuff. But yeah, so
just warming up, like playing drums as much as I
can and.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Before the show.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Just how do you call day focus and warming up
like the body, like jumping push ups or yeah, just
I don't wanna hurt myself on stage.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
So yeah, yeah, are you familiar with mister cassa Grande.
It's a fucking beast I learned. I was with the
I'm not gonna say who else whether in case I
get in trouble. But they mentioned that Eloy does not
warm up before he goes on stage. He just goes.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
I know some drummers like they're like, yeah, I don't care,
I don't need this, And you know what, I'm warming
up like a lot.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Since this summer, since I have this big practice kit.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Before I was like sometimes not doing anything, sometimes practicing
a little bit, and I didn't find.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
The right way.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
So I was like, some I was practicing, I felt
like shit on stage. Sometimes doing nothing I felt so good,
So I was like, I don't know what to do,
so maybe it's in my head. But now playing drums
at least one hour, I feel so good. So yeah,
I know some drummers and big drummers are not doing anything.
Maybe because he's fucking ready all the time, he's playing

(06:22):
so much drums, He's like fucking strong, so maybe he's
just ready.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
All the time. Good for him, yeah, good for with
this tour. Is there a dream lineup tour that you
guys want to play with next year, five years from
now or whatever? Who would it be with? And why? Gujira?
Yeah and those big bann there is so much bend. Yeah,

(06:49):
I don't know. I would say a clues, no clues,
would be sick.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
We already played, We had a European tour with them,
would be sick to play again with them.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
We split from within, Yeah we are those guys are not. Yeah,
we are really good friends. We'll be sick to tour
with them.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
So yeah, we don't have like crazy ideas, but just
to always friends and go Jira because it's kind of
our favorite band.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Yeah, you don't even need to say why, just go
Jira and then that's it.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
But we played like three or four shows this summer
in Europe with them. We had the chance to chat
drinks together, So I would not say we are friends,
but we know each other well now.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, one day, one day, one day, and I hope
it for you. What can fans expect in twenty twenty
six from you guys? Rest a little bit?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah, but during new continents, Yeah, that's the goal.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Like too new continents yet so not during that much,
but trying new things, that's the goal.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, I love that mentality. Any kind of advice you
guys would give to you newer or up and coming bands,
what would it be and why? So we always say that,
like just first practice your instrument, Like you don't have
to be the best, but just to be good for
what you go, you have to play coming to the craft.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Yeah, so just spend time on your instrument and spend
time with your band, like practice with the band, so
you're gonna sound really good, gonna be.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Like really tight.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
So yeah, practice real soholes, yeah a lot, anything different
or just.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Yeah, as I said, try to find a good song
and engineer like pretty early because you can play well
and you need a good sound. Yeah, so the shit,
but we also know the song comes from us first.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Also, so if you don't play well, you won't have
a good sound. Like the drums is acoustic, but if
you play like shit, it's gonna sounds like shit. And
after so if you play well, your drum sounds well
and you have a good engineator, it's gonna be sick.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yeah, it's gonna be easy breezy after that. Any final
words you guys want to say to fans, thank you
for everything awesome? Well, easy enough, Thanks guys, appreciate a
little of your time. Landmarks. They have that newish album out,
so go run that actually run all of their music.
Start to finish every day and get ready for them
on tour some continent, but definitely in America. We'll see

(09:35):
you guys next time.
