Singles out on Spotify, all organic. We have like one
hundred and fifty thousand streams, just pushing our own shit. Right,
that's good. We're not buying shit. We're doing it organic.
We're doing it real good. But we did some touring
with Tapru. They're kind of doing a comeback kind of thing,
second coming thing. We just played with this band, A Wheel,
a couple of weeks ago at the Epic Events Center
(01:21):
in Green Bay. They're doing a comeback then. But we're
basically like modern alternative rock, some since, some heavy parts,
and I like to think that we're reinventing music. No
big deal, man, I.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Mean you were just talking to Jesse from Octane, so sure.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Crazy Jesse and I go way back. I grew up
outside of Cleveland, Ohio, as did Jesse. I had a
band called Icarus Landing. We signed to a UK label.
We toured Europe a few times. Jesse's like my homeboy

Speaker 2 (04:03):
You know, when did you guys start out? He said,
about a little bit of every year ago.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
So I wrote most of the music in twenty twenty three.

songs twenty twenty three, released in twenty twenty four. Started
playing live shows late twenty twenty four, doing shows like
opening for our friends, opening for tap Rood.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
No pressure, just having fun, Yeah exactly, that's the way
to be, all right.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
I do really think it's the best work I've done.
I've been doing music since I was a wee lady,
and I'm really proud of it. So folks at home,
check that shut out.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oceans on other planet, oceans on other planets.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
The acro name is oops. That's probably easier.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
You have that on shure.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Yet we're planning to We're planning to white white tax
real easy oops yeah, very easy ticker great for Rapp.
Look at all this marketing we're going through here. So now,
I mean we're about halfway through twenty twenty five. Yeah,
what's coming out? You know, Russ twenty twenty five, you
got plants for twenty twenty six, anything like that.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
We've got a lot of new music coming out, some
really progressive, heavy but really like sexy artistic music coming out.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
We got some sexy music now, that's why I like
to hear.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
I mean that genuinely. And we've got a couple of
new music videos coming out. All right. The whole idea
is like next year will be like our second year
legitimately as a band, and ideally we're going to be
playing some of these festivals. That's the plan.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
I mean, look how far you've come already.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
I mean, it's all you just picked up the guitar yesterday,
and like you've had a little bit of prior experience.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
I'm maybe you about to beat you in arm wrestling now,
I'm just kidding folks at home. He looks stuff, he
looks tough.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (05:50):

Speaker 3 (05:51):
So we've been dehydrated myself. So anyways, oceans on other
planets okay, and it's kind of like Star said a
little bit, Lincoln Park a little bit.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
I was gonna say, for people that might you know,
they're checking us out, who's this band? Let's say they're
going to see a show. What are they walking into?
What are they going to expect?
Speaker 2 (06:09):
We're win it.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Like it's a very modern, fresh version of like altern
into rock. So Smashing Pumpkins were a huge influence. Yeah,
Faking Park. Yeah, electronic, funky, heavy beats, heavy guitars here
and there. Yeah, like I said, man.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Sexy, sexy, fun motions on other planets talking bro.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
I spoke to Dan Jansen earlier and he's a creator
of Fink and yeah, I mean there's a lot of
pressure on his shoulders. Day one to day two, a
lot of work had to go in make sure things
were running a little bit more smooth. And yeah, he
did it. They did it. I'm really happy with it.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
I like the new layout.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
There's Ryan from kill Street, there's a lot of people
here at Incarceration.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Anything you want to say to fans rather they just
discovered you, or they've been around for a while, or
just friends, family, anything.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Well, we are genuine artists. We take our ship very seriously.
Music's all about love, helping each other, supporting each other,
lifting each other up, and so there's a very positive message,
but we also touch on some dark themes. Ultimately, if
you like any of the bands that I named, I
think you'll love this music. And we've got a whole
album coming out in the new year. So sky's the limit.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
We got a title no no, all right makes a.
