In this episode, I interview Coach Krista Williams who is the Head Cheerleading Coach at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. We discuss the difference between professional cheerleading and collegiate cheerleading, what it takes for cheer to be recognized as a sport, and steps Krista is taking as a coach to eliminate negative stereotypes with cheer.
Krista Williams - Coach Krista has three years of coaching experience, five years of experience as a collegiate cheerleader. She is also the Nebraska Shrine Bowl Head Cheerleading Coach, a cheerleading competition judge, and a choreographer.
