Good afternoon, I'm Ben Parker. Here's what's happening with BacT
to work today in Norfolk Superior Court. Jurors at Brian
Walsh's murder trial. Here, in testimony about pieces of evidence

discovered in a dumpster, doctor Richard Atkinson from the Stief
Medical Examiner's Office was shown pictures of evidence found in
dumpsters behind Walsh's mother's woman swampskit. They included carpets, a hacksaw,
as well as cleaning supplies. On cross examination, defense attorney
Larry Tipton questioned Atkinson about what investigators did not find
on a Walsh's body. Is it fair to say.

President Trump's former personal lawyer, stepping down from her role
as acting US Attorney for New Jersey. ABC Stephen Portnoys
tells US this follows a recent loss in appellate court.

He's stepping down. Alina Hobba says she aims to protect
the stability and integrity of the US Attorney's Office in
New Jersey. A panel of the Third Circuit Appeals Court
ruled against her interim appointment. Attorney General Pam Bondi says
Habba will continue on in the Justice Department as a
senior advisor, and Bondi says the department will keep challenging
the ruling against Hobba's appointment, saying that she would return

to lead the US Attorney's Office if the administration's argument
prevails in court.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
For now, Hobba's former duties will be split between three
lawyers in the Jersey US Attorney's Office. Ukraine's president holding
talks in London with European allies on the US Peace
Plan and security. President Vladimir Zelensky met with French, German
and British leaders in discussions aimed at strengthening Ukraine's position
in negotiations on a plan to end Russia's war in Ukraine.

Zelenski has said discussions were focused on security, air defense,
and long term funding. A major issue in the talks
is the proposal for Ukraine to seed control of the
Dambas region in eastern Ukraine to Russia, which Kiev and
its allies are opposed to. Airlines are being put on
notice they could be in trouble over what they did
more of than they should have been doing during the

recent government shutdown.

The FAA has warned airlines that they could face fines
up to seventy five thousand dollars for each flight over
the mandated reductions, which varied between three and six percent.
The forty three day federal government shutdown that began October
first led to long delays as unpaid air traffic controllers
missed work.

That is correspondent Jim Krsula. More than ten thousand flights
were canceled during the government shutdown. Less wind as we
head through the evening, which will certainly make it feel
less harsh. However, the temperatures are going to make it
feel a little more harsh because they're going to tumble
down to near zero in some of the coldest inland suburbs.
We will be about sixteen in Boston under clear skies.

Tomorrow not quite as harsh. There will be some sun
giving way to clouds. Low thirties in Boston, probably upper
twenties in the suburbs, and then tomorrow night we're going
to eventually see those temperatures start to rise. We'll start
with a bit of snow or rain in the evening
and then mostly cloudy temperatures rise through the thirties, landing
in the mid forties on Wednesday, some clouds and maybe
a little bit of rain in the afternoon or evening.

twenty five degrees in Boston. Today is a big day

Comedy Your Musical, with Timothy Shalomy getting a nod for
Lead Actor. Cynthia Ribo became the first black woman in
Golden Globe's history to be nominated twice for Best Actress
in a Comedy Your Musical for playing Alphabet in the
Wicked Movies. Arianna Grande also got an for Supporting Actress

in the movie, and speaking of Best Supporting this time,
actor Adam Sandler has been nominated for his role in
Jay Kelly Brian Antonelli wb Z, Boston's news radio.

And then there's Live Theater. The Heally Administration announcing twenty
eight inaugural awards through the state's newly established Live Theater
Tax Credit program. The initiatives design to expand Massachusetts live
performance sector, support local venues, and boost the state's visitor economy.
The Live Theater Tax Credit, one of several initiatives launched
under the mass Leads Act seven million dollars, is the

tax credit to provide financial incentives to professional theater companies
that develop, produce, and or present live stage performances in Massachusetts. Well,
you could go hide a cave forever, but there's probably
