I'm Suzanne Saalsville. Here's what's happening. A deadly ambush in
Syria claims the lives of two US soldiers and an
American civilian. ABC's Marcus Moore has the latest.

These US soldiers and the interpreter. This group was at
that village there for what was described as a leadership engagement,
and at some point there was an ambush. According to officials,
these shots were fired, and we now know that two
US soldiers were killed along with an American interpreter, and
that three other service members were injured. And we understand

from officials that the gunman in this case was killed.

President Trump says there will be very serious retaliation. Brian
Walsh's fate is now in the hands of the jury.
The cohact man is accused of murdering and dismembering his wife,
Anna Walsh. In twenty twenty three, CBS News Boston's Penny

Jurors left to deliberate with two very different versions of
how Anna Walsh died on New Year's Day twenty twenty three.
The prosecution says her husband, Brian Walsh, premeditated her murder,
proven in part by allegedly lying to the couple's friend
at New Year's Eve about misplacing his phone.

Miss allowed the defendant to be unavailable for two days.

The defense arguing that Anna instead died an unexplained death
and Walsh then dismembered her body in a state of
panic in their basement, the only part of the home
where bloodstains were found.

on Monday. House Democrats release a new batch of photos
from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's estate. CBS's Willie James

On Friday, House of Recite Democrats released nearly one hundred
photos from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Billionaire Bill Gates, former President Bill Clinton, as well as
Trump allies Steve Bennon were included in some of the
undated photos. Also included former Treasury Secretary, Larry Summers, movie

director Woody Allen, and Donald Trump. The photos were part
of a trove of ninety five thousand pictures obtained by
the House Oversight Committee.

President Trump says he has not seen the photos, adding
they're not a big deal. The owner of the now
closed Rodrigo Beauty Spawn Milton, has agreed to lead guilty
to injecting clients with unapproved cosmetic toxins. According to the Globe,
Rodrigo Madero Siquierra of Quinsy faces one count of misbranding

a drug with intent to defraud or mislead. In June,
state health officials reported at least ten suspected cases of
botulism linked to his spa. The forecast, a winter weather
advisory begins at ten o'clock tonight. It lasts till seven
pm tomorrow. That's for the South Coast Cape and Islands. Now,

the snow begins late tonight into midday Tomorrow. One to
three inches are possible, especially south of Boston. We'll see

shows an increase and student assaults against staff at Worcester
Public schools. WBZ Sherry Small has details.

The new data looks at incidents coded as staff assaults
over the past two school years, broken down by grade level.
It shows the vast majority are happening in elementary schools
in the twenty twenty four to twenty five school year.
Of the one hundred and fifty eight reported staff assault incidents,
seventy percent happened in kindergarten through third grade, just six
percent happened in middle schools, another six percent in high schools.

District officials say the issue involves a very small number
of students ninety eight out of nearly twenty five thousand students,
with many incidents involving repeat student offenders. At the elementary level.
Superintendent Ryan Allen says a district is looking at additional
supports for elementary staff and students, including restoring specialized programs

for students with higher needs. He says safety remains the
time priority. The data will be presented to the Worcester

Police and Tiksbury are investigating an animal cruelty case involving
several dead seagulls. Officers responded to a report of a
dark colored suv intentionally driving over a flock of seagulls
at a parking lot on Main Street Thursday. When they
got there, they found six dead seagulls. Authorities urge anyone

with information regarding the driver to contact Tewksbury police. Tomorrow
marks thirteen years since the school shooting at Sandy Hook
Elementary in Connecticut.

Governor Lamont ordered all flags in the state lord to
have staff from sunrise to sunset on Sunday to honor
the twenty first graders and six educators killed December fourteenth,
twenty twelve, inside the elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. Congressional
members jointed survivors on Capitol Hill Thursday to again call
for federal gun safety measures. That came after Winny Nights
National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence, which paid

respects to Americans killed or hurt by bullets since twenty twelve.
