Sixty eight degrees in Boston at four o'clock. Good afternoon,
I'm Suzanne Soasville. Here's what's going on. A driver from

the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. An Israeli
official now says humanitarian aid into Gaza will be halted
until further notice because of alleged ceasefire violations. CBS's Linda
(00:52):
Gradstein has the very latest from Jerusalem.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Israel says that Hamas is violating the ceasefire agreement, both
by refusing to return the bodies of dead hostages it
is still holding and by opening fire on Israeli troops
in southern Gaza. Hamas says it has returned the bodies
of all of the hostages it can reach, including two
return late Saturday. Hamas also says it is not responsible
(01:16):
for the attack on Israeli troops and that it is
committed to the ceasefire.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Meantime, Vice President jd Vance and US Envoy Steve Whitkoff
are scheduled to visit Israel this week to work on
the next phase of the ceasefire. The Louver Museum in
Paris is closed after thieves make away with priceless jewels.
Reporter Brad Gibson has details.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
It all happened in about seven minutes. According to authorities,
an unknown number of robbers with chainsaws used a cherry
picker to enter a second floor window. The robbery appears
to have been well planned. Window panes were cut out
with battery operated equipment. In all, nine priceless pieces of
jewelry were stolen in their hasty get away. The reportedly
dropped one piece as they fled. The Louver has a
(02:03):
long history of thefts and attempted robberies. Brad Gibson for
CBS News Carcason France.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
The Louver is the world's most visited museum and the
largest on Earth. It looks like yesterday's no Kings protests
set a new record. ABC's Dave Packer explains.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
From New York to Los Angeles, from Chicago to Austin
twenty six hundred events nationwide, and organizers of this weekend
No Kings protests say some seven million people protested coast
to coast. If that number turns out to be correct,
the Crowd Counting Consortium, a joint project of University of
Connecticut and Harvard, say it would mean Saturday saw the
largest turnout for a one day protest in US history,
(02:44):
unless you count the first Earth Day in nineteen seventy
as a protest. The CCC will be spending the next
few weeks compiling reports to verify the count. Dave Packer,
ABC News.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
A young child is dead after a car crash in Taunted.
It happened on Route one thirty eight around seven o'clock
last night. A twenty five year old woman and her
two young daughters were in the car. The younger one,
who was not yet two, died. The older daughter, who's five,
and the mother were injured. Both are in stable condition.
(03:15):
The four men in the other car were unharmed and
remain on the scene. The forecast mostly sunny for the
rest of the day, turning cloudy with a shower in
spots over night. Low fifty seven. Not a pleasant start
to the work week. You might need a sturdy umbrella.
Cloudy and windy, with periods of rain, heavy at times
in the morning, possible ponding on roads and damaging winds.
(03:39):
Highs near sixty five on Tuesday. It gets much nicer,
mostly sunny, with a high of sixty six on Wednesday,
and early shower or two than a bit of sun

Speaker 6 (04:17):
When you bring a dog home from a shelter, they
say you save two lives because you save that animal
that's come into your home, but you also open space
for another animal to go into the shelter, and so
you start this really kind of beautiful and compassionate change
of saving lives.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Animal welfare organizations were on hand to connect the dogs
with suitable Forever Homes Pats Fans were invited to remain
outside the stadium for a watch party. Boston Blue, starring
Donnie Wahlberg, premiered on CBS last week. CBS News Boston's

Speaker 7 (04:55):
Between scenes in Boston Common, Wahlberg stopped to greet fans,
sign autographs, and soak it all in. To be filming
back in his hometown meant everything.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
I've come a long way from Dorchester, but Dorchester will
always be right here, and so of Boston.
Speaker 7 (05:10):
After a career that's taken him around the world, Wahlberg
says there's nothing like coming back to where his story
started and where Danny Reagan's next chapter is just beginning.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Very thankful and grateful and kind of overwhelmed.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
Should be here.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
Yeah, any other little Boston boy watching any words of wisdom?

Speaker 4 (05:30):

Speaker 2 (05:32):

Wahlberg was on for fourteen seasons. The NTSB is looking
into what caused a United Airlines windshield to shatter mid flight.
ABC's Alex Stone has the story.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
It's unclear what made the United Airlines Boeing seven thirty
seven Max eight windshield shatter image. It has appeared to
show damage like something hit the plane right above the
cockpit on Thursday, shattering the windshield. There have been theories
online it was falling space junk. The NTSB says a
flight was near moab Utah, heading from Denver to Lax
when the windshield cracked. Aircraft windshields are made with multiple layers,
(06:17):
so of one or some layer shatter, the rest remain intact.
The United flight, with one hundred and forty people on board,
diverted safely to Salt Lake City at Stone. ABC News.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
