Good afternoon, I'm Ben Parker. Here's what's happening. A working
lunch with the Commander in chief. A luncheon for President
Trump with Republican senators at the White House today. More

Garden Club, where he spoke of many things, including the
government shutdown and trade, including major tariffs against China.

in the stabbing of former Fall River Mayor Will Flanagan.
A Fall River police say on Facebook the person of
interest involved in the stabbing was apprehended and placed under arrest.
Flannagan was stabbed about five o'clock yesterday afternoon. It sustained
what are described as significant injuries. The former mayor hospitalized
in serious but stable condition. The state's top law enforcer

woman elected to state wide office in Massachusetts.

into the sixties and mid sixties for the most part
across the region. A few places tickled the upper sixties,
like Springfield and Westfield sitting at sixty seven degrees right now,
but as you head more to the east, the tad cooler.
Mid sixties all right, tonight, we're into the upper forties
and the coolest spots fifty four downtown as the clouds

start to thicken up. We will bring in some shower
activity as we head overnight and primarily in the city
at least toward dawn, then through tomorrow morning. Otherwise the
clouds will break for some sun. Afternoon will be nice,
with temperatures in the mid sixties, a little breezy, mostly clear,
breezy Tomorrow night forty seven downtown, but into the thirties
in some of the inland suburbs, and then Thursday and

Friday are looking pretty nice. Temperatures within a couple degrees
of sixty mix of sun and clouds will be pretty
nice as we head into the weekend too, but probably cooler,
only in the fifties. Right now, it is sixty five
degrees in Boston. There's a character in the Witch City
