Good afternoon, I'm Ben Parker. Here's what's happening. A Rhode
Island man accused of death threats against President Trump's been
released on bond after a federal court appearance today. Carl
Monahue is charged with threatening to kill President Trump, along
with Attorney General Pam Bondy in White House Deputy Chief

of Staff Stephen Millard. Court documents say he posted the
threat in a message on truth Social He was arrested
without incident this morning. Harvard University, feeling more pressure from
the Trump administration, more calls for the school to turn
over records of its international students and recent grads.

The Department of Homeland Security says it will subpoena Harvard
University for what it terms relevant information for the student
visitor and exchange program. A DHS official posted, we tried
to do things the easy way with Harvard. Now, through
their refusal to cooperate, we have to do this the
hard way. Harvard officials have forcefully denied the accusations and
have stated they plan to comply with all lawful requests.

Harvard says the administration's ongoing retaliatory actions come as Harvard
continues to defend itself and its students, faculty, and staff
against harmful government overreach. Later this month, there's a hearing
scheduled on Harvard's federal funding lawsuit. A rule aimed at
making subscriptions easier to cancel has been blocked. ABC's Mike

The federal judge is now throwing out the click to
Cancel rule, a provision from the Federal Trade Commission that
was set to take effect next week. The rule required
companies to make the cancelation process for subscriptions as easy
as the sign up process. It also required them to
get a customer's consent before charging for a membership. But
the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeal says the FTC made

a procedural error by not doing a preliminary regulatory analysis,
and a judge is vacating the rule Mike Deboski, ABC News.

Cases of measles in the United States are at their
highest in three decades. The CDC says the US has
had twelve hundred and eighty eight cases since the beginning
of the year. It is higher than the previous high
in twenty nineteen. The numbers are being driven by twenty
two outbreaks over twelve months. Seventeen states have seen outbreaks
so far this year, and there are also some large
outbreaks in Mexico and Canada. Former President Joe Biden's White

House doctor didn't give any answers to Republican members of
Congress who are formerly investigating Biden's health while in office.

get under some showers and or a heavier thunderstorm temperatures

the afternoon. We start to calm down a bit as
we head into Friday, mostly clouding, maybe a passing shower,

temperatures close to eighty Saturday, intervals of clouds and sawn,
humid temperatures close to eighty. Right now sixty eight in Boston. Salem,

These two ladies drove a half hour up from Massachusetts
to be among the first inside. I go to all
the casinos I've been to New York.

The casino is located at the Mall at Rockingham Park
in Salem. It's being built and rolled out in phases.
This Phase one includes slots along with traditional table and
card games, live poker, food service, and a full bar,
with many more amenities and games added in future phases.

More help for more animals. MSPCA Angels says it will
soon increase its animal intake by roughly thirty percent about
four hundred more animals each year, thanks to a new
isolation space at its Cape Caught Adoption Center. The sixteen
hundred square foot area is opening shortly before the expected
arrival of animals that were impacted by the flooding in Texas.
