Good morning, I'm Kyle Bray. Thank you for joining us,
and here's what's happening. Heading out to sea. Hurricane Aaron
is downgraded to a Category one storm, but that doesn't
mean the East Coast is out of the woods yet.
CBS meteorologist Rob Marciano says there are still some blingering effects.

The rip currents are still very high risk, and not
just in the northeast of Middleline, but still all the
way down to.

High serve advisories are in effects through eight o'clock tomorrow night.
With many beaches across the region closed. There's a chance
for some beach erosion and even coastal flooding tonight. There's
a wind advisory in effects for the Capean Islands through
two o'clock this afternoon as well. Wall Street is rallying
on some encouraging news over interest rates. During a speech
in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Federal Reserve Chairge er Own. Powell

says the Central Bank is open to a rate cut,
though there's no timeline on when that could happen. Powell
says the FED is evaluating its options and watching how
new tariffs impact the economy. Experts believe the Fed could
consider a policy change during its next meeting in mid September.
The world's leading authority on food insecurity declares that Gaza
is in a famine. CBS's Linda Gradstein has more.

The report by a global hunger monitor called the IPC
said that more than half a million Palestinians are suffering
from famine in Gaza and the number is growing. More
than half of those are in Gaza City, according to
the report, where the Israeli Army says it is preparing
an assault to take over the city. The Israeli Army
rejected the report and said there has been a recent

increase in aid going into Gaza.

The IPC calls the situation a race against time, estimating
that it leads to one hundred and thirty thousand children

the coming months. Federal agents raid the home of President
Trump's former National security advisor, John Bolton. ABC's Jonathan Carl

While the search was underway, FBI director Cash Battel posted
on social media, no one is above the law. FBI
agents are on a mission now. Some people would say
that mission is retribution. Bolton had become a prominent critic

to an investigation on the handling of classified documents. For
the second day in a row, Good Harbor Beach is
closed off the swimming because of a shark sighting nearby.
The Gloucester Harbor Masters says swimmers aren't ordered out of
the water until lifeguards can give the go ahead. Yesterday,
a shark was spotted at nearby Long Beach. Swimming was

open for several hours in between the sightings. It's time
now for the four d Awbzac weather forecamp there is
a high surf advisory and along the coast and the
Campan Islands that will run through eight o'clock tomorrow. We're
gonna see some dangerous surf and life threatening rip currents
because of Hurricane Aaron that is passing by well out
in the Atlantic Ocean. There is a chance for some

beach erosion and pockets of coastal flooding. There's also a
wind advisory for the Capean Islands through two o'clock this afternoon.
Other than that, it will be sunny, will behind between
eighty one and eighty five, and we'll get down to
the mid seventies. If you're out on the Capean Islands,
Tonight will be clear. We'll have a low of sixty
two and in the mid fifties if you're away from
the coast. Tomorrow will be sunny two partly cloudy. We'll

have a bit of a breeze. One behind around eighty five.
It will be to the mid to upper seventies on
the Capean Islands. It will stay that way on Sunday,
but it will be turning breezy with some partial with
a little bit of sunshine. We'll have a hive around
eighty two for the rest of the state. Monday, though,
as we start the work week, we're gonna take a
big turn in the other direction. Will be mostly cloudy,
with a couple of showers and a thunderstorm in the area.

Boston It's the News Radio. The judge in the Brian
Walsh murder case denies an effort from his legal team
to dismiss his first degree murder charge. His lawyers argued
prosecutors had not shown significant evidence to charge Walsh with
murdering his wife, Anna, who disappeared just after New Year's

in twenty twenty three. In a decision dated this past Tuesday,
Norfolk Superior Corps judge found the Commonwealth did establish enough
probable cause to charge him with murder. Walsh haspley did
not guilty to all charges. His trial is set to
begin in October. Public health officials from eight states, including Massachusetts,
met this week in Providence to discuss a new regional

plan for public health independence from the federal government. The
Globe reports. Officials discussed the possibilities of coordinating vaccine recommendations
amongst states, along with creating a regional plan for disease
