A person of interest is arrested this morning in the deadly shooting at Brown University in Providence. Another mass shooting taking place on a popular beach in Australia. A lawsuit filed this past week in Suffolk Superior Court by the family of a 14-year-old girl who allegedly was repeatedly raped at a group home in Springfield during 2023. Thirty one degrees in snowshowers in Massachusetts in Boston at
eleven o'clock. Hello, and thanks for being with us. I'm
Sherry Small and here's what's happening. The snow just keeps
coming for most of the Bay.

person of interest is arrested at around four am this
morning in the deadly shooting at Brown University yesterday. Two
people killed, nine more wounded. This morning, one remains in
critical condition. One victim has been released from the hospital.

ABC's Aaron Kutirsky says a suspect was captured in a
hotel in Coventry, Rhode Island.

The authorities detained this individual of interest were told based
on a tip that they received overnight, and the authorities
did not put out much for the public to go on.
There was a snippet of video showing a figure dressed
in black leaving the engineering building rounding the corner.

That's all the information the public had to know, but
that was enough apparently for someone to give the authorities
a tip.

And appearing on ABC's This Week, Democratic Rhode Island Congressman
gave Amo credited hardworking first responders with tracking down the
person of interest.

Island is a very interconnected place, so nearly every local
law enforcement agency, combined with our state police and federal
support of working through the night.

And in the wake of this shooting, Brown has canceled
all classes, exams and projects. Another deadly mass shooting to
tell you about, this one taking place on a popular beach.
Australia Police in Sydney reporting at least eleven people killed
in an attack at a Honukkah celebration being held at
Bondai Beach. One of the two gunmen also reported dead.

The other shooter was injured and is in custody. Twelve
people taken to the hospital as well with injuries. The

We understand is that there was a festival just behind
the beach on a grassy area and eyewitnesses are saying
that two shooters used a bridge between the main shopping
area of Bondai Beach towards a grassy area that then
leads down to the beach, and from that bridge, it

is understood that the shooters then attacked this music gathering.

And authorities are calling it a terrorist attack. And now

it's snowing thirty one degrees in Boston at eleven oh five,
police arrests a suspect who they say shot and killed

T tails especial say twenty nine year old Darnel Andre
was shot and killed in a parked car and Deering
Square the night of November eleventh. He was shot multiple
times and rushed to South store A hospital, where he
was pronounced dead. A suspect was seen running away from
the scene and what police called a targeted shooting. On Friday,
police took thirty four year old Covin Dennis into custody
in Brockton. He is set to be arraigned in Hingham
District Court on a murder charge on Monday. I'm a freedman,
