Cloudy in forty degrees in Boston. We're seeing a breezy
day today, some rain at times, the high reaching fifty degrees.
Of course, all eyes are on Tuesday when we could
see some snow. We'll have more in the full forecast
coming up. Hello and thanks for being with us on
this Sunday. It's eleven o'clock. I'm Sherry Small. Here's what's happening.
More than one hundred patients at a local nursing home

had to be evacuated because of a fire. Some had
to be carried out by firefighters. The flames broke out
yesterday afternoon on the third floor of the Webster Park
Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center that's located in Rockland. No one
was injured. CBS News Boston's Logan Hall reports from the scene. Now.

The fire chief says that this was a very strong
and swift response from the fire department out here. They
were able to get eleven different fire departments on scene,
with eight ambulances responding to this scene as well.

And fire officials say it took them about forty minutes
to get everyone out of the building. You may remember
back in July, ten people died after a fire broke
out at the Gabriel House assisted living center in Fall River.
It's back to focusing on the peace proposal between Ukraine
and Russia for President Trump. We get details from CBS
as Christian Ben the Vivas.

In Florida today. The Trump administration is working with Ukrainian
officials to find a pathway to peace and the punishing
war between Ukraine and Russia, a senior US official tell
CBS News. Secretary of State Mark Arrubio, Special Envoy Steve Whibkoff,
and the President's son in law, Jared Kushner will be
in attendance.

And European officials have voiced doubt that Russia is ready
for peace. Air travel today is expected to break a record.
The TSA anticipating more than three million passengers at airports nationwide.
Added to the massive travel day mix, Airbus A three
twenty jets all need flight control software updates.

I'm Peter King. Saturday afternoon, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy tweeted
that flyers shouldn't expect major disruptions, but as of late
Saturday night, the airline with one of the largest airbus fleets,
was reporting the first wave of cancelations seventy for Jet Blue,
and the spokesman saying that number is expected to rise.
American says about two hundred of its affected jets have

been updated. United in Delta have fewer of the jets,
and they say their disruptions are minimal. The updates are
believed to take about two hours to complete and check
out Peter King's CBS News All Right.

Checking the board over at Logan. According to flight Aware,
so far today, Logan has seen ninety eight flights delayed,
forty two flights canceled. Of those forty two cancelations, thirty
four are with Jet Blue. Then now here's the fort

The cloudy through this afternoon and evening. We'll have some
rain at times high around fifty. It will be brisk
and chilly tonight, some clearing low thirty seven and at

the high thirty eight, so we'll see a mix of
snow and rain arrive by late Tuesday morning. It's going
to continue through the afternoon and into the nights esplushally

one to three inches across the nearby northwest suburbs, and
three to six inches north and west of four ninety
five where it stays all snow and drying out Wednesday

Right taking a quick look at the radar map, we
are already seeing some very very light snow flurries in
far western Mass, in parts of central Mass. Also up
in New Hampshire through the Lakes region as well, a
lot of people leaving that region today. Otherwise we're just
dealing with on the coast, forty three is the average.
On the north shore, south coast and SouthShore, we're averaging

anywhere between forty four and the cape. About forty six
is the average. Right now in Boston, it's cloudy and
forty one degree.

local law enforcement. The move comes after Wednesday's attack that
killed one National Guard member and critically wounded another. The suspect,
a twenty nine year old Afghan national, faces.

The Trump administration has halted all asylum decisions and paused
