A couple of clouds moving in, still mostly sunny and
Boston sixty degrees at eleven o'clock on this Sunday. It's
October nineteenth. Hello, thanks for being with us. I'm Sherry Small.
Here's what's happening today. The Israel Hama sees fire in
Gaza's showing signs of strain. We get the very latest
from ABC's Marcus Moore.

Sides are now accusing the other of violating this seasfire.
This morning, Israel has conducted new air strikes in Gaza.
According to Israel, this follows multiple attacks that Hamas launched
against IDF soldiers beyond the Yellow line. And all of
this comes after that State Department warning about Hamas planning
attacks on civilians in Gaza, which would be a violation

of the terms of the agreement. Hamas says it is
targeting criminal gangs and has called the warning Israeli propaganda
and a false pretext for Israel to resume it's Bombardi
in god.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanya, who ordering the military to
take action, but insists that he is not threatening to
resume the war with ha MOS. A massive No King's
Rally taking place on Boston Common yesterday was just one
of many across the country, drawing out millions of people
protesting the Trump administration. WBC's Mike Macklin reports.

By the thousands they came filling the parade grounds on
Boston Common. The No King's Rally part of a nationwide
day of patriotic defiance and protest against President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is a bully, and when we don't bow
down to kings or bullies, they start to lose their power.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren was among the speakers.

Do we bow down to bullies? Do we bound down
to Donald Trump? The American people do not bound down.

The demonstration was peaceful, organizers urging the crowd not to
engage with counter protesters expected to be there, but only
a small handful of pro Palestine demonstrators momentarily interrupted the

We're now into the third week of the government shutdown,
and the economic impact is being felt by federal workers
and civil.

Officials, warning forty two million Americans could lose their food
stamp benefits in two weeks. With SNAP on track to
run out of funding, food banks across the country preparing
for a surge and demand the President ramping up pressure
on Democrats, already freezing billions of dollars in infrastructure projects
in blue states and threatening to slash programs.

Well, notice the warm up out there this afternoon. I'm
a sunshine mixed with a few clouds. A high of
sixty six tonight, turning out cloudy, watch for a shower late,
low fifty seven Tomorrow, cloudy and windy. We'll see periods
of rain falling heavy at times. Watch for ponding on
roads and even gusty winds. A high of sixty five
for Tuesday, mostly Sunday and nice. A high of sixty six.

We'll have more clouds Tuesday night, perhaps a shower as
a front moves through, and than a shower giving way
to sun Wednesday, high sixty three. I'm ak you whether

have a fifty four Northampton, Wollster fifty nine degrees Lowll

couple clouds out sixty degrees in Boston.

details of a Young Republican group chat were leaked last week.

Vermont State Senator Sam Douglas announced his resignation Friday after
Republican Governor Phil Scott called for him to step down.
That now infamous Young Republicans group chat was filled with
racist and anti Semitic remarks, including a remark from Douglas
himself suggesting that people of Indian heritage don't bathe often.

Douglas has his decision to resign will upset many and
delight others, but that as a young person He says
he has a duty to set a good example for others.
