upper eighties this afternoon.

As WBZ KU weather meteorologist Joe Lungberg, the weather gets
even better for the upcoming holiday weekend. On Capitol Hill,
now President Trump's one big, beautiful budget bill is in
the House's hands.

President Trump and social media said there's much to be
proud of. After the Senate narrowly passed his tax and
budget bill, The President urged House Republicans to come together,
saying they have to ignore their quote occasional grandstanders and
do the right thing and pass the legislation and get
it to his desk By July fourth, the President in
Florida earlier, speaking about the legislation that contains several of
his key campaign promises, including roughly four trillion dollars in

tax cuts and ending Biden era clean energy initiatives.

The bill has now got to go back over to
the House, and there.

Are a lot of Republicans who are feeling really squeamish
about this bill at this point.

The bill rips medicaid from millions of Americans. That's trillions
of dollars to the nation's debt. Elon Musk says this
is an ugly bill, and Senator Warren says she agrees
with him. It's day two of a trash collector's strike
in many Massachusetts cities and towns. Workers at Republic Services
get a little hot under the collar over frustrations in

contract talks on a new union deal. The Teamsters Union
Local twenty five says it's fighting for better wages and
better benefits, and there have been some fights on the
picket lines as well, with accusations of violence and tire
slashing at the worker's work site in Revere. Red Sox
will pick up where they left off after being rudely
interrupted by rain at Fenway Park last night. The suspended

game resumes at two thirty. It's part of a day
night double header this afternoon at Fenway. Red Sox lead
the Reds in the top of the fourth inning in
that suspended game. Socks and Cincinnati will then wrap up
their three game series later on tonight. Getaway days continue
in advance of the fourth of July long weekend. Dozens
of flights have been delayed or canceled once again Logan

We begin this Wednesday morning with scattered showers in much
of the Greater Boston area. It's still very mild seventy
three degrees and still extremely humid here in the city,
so we'll notice over the next coming days a couple
of days that the humidity levels will start to decrease,
and despite the clouds and showers this morning, we will

see some sunshine a little bit later on today, high
temperatures again in the mid to upper eighties. Sunday to
partly cloudy. Tomorrow, there will be a gusty afternoon or
evening thunderstorm moving through the area. Highs once again near
ninety degrees. And then the holiday on Friday, fourth of July,
it's going to be a lightful day with plenty of
sunshine and low humidity. Temperatures will be in the low eighties.

In fact, the entire holiday weekend. Looks like we're going
to be in pretty good shape right now. It's seventy
three scattered showers in Boston this morning, six point five
on this Wednesday. Going places at Logan is of course
a hassle, and now rides to and from the airport
would like more of your nickels and dimes. David just
got out of his Uber right here a Logan. He's
among the first to be hit with an extra five

dollars and fifty cent fee added for those getting picked
up or dropped off at the airport.

I think for it's convenience. I don't mind being the
edge of two dollars the tea and it's run. INDs,
especially around the back Bay area, have been a little preaky,
so I've actually been more inclined to use right ups
like Uber and Lynd and I don't mind the change.

Parking prices at the airport's main and economy garages have

Live music comes to Logan. Massport says it's welcoming professional
musicians and local college students to play for arrivals at
baggage claim in terminals. V and C officials say they
want to improve the traveler experience. A former state social
worker accused of posing as a teenager and then enrolling

in several Boston high schools, bails on a planned plea
agreement with prosecutors at the last minute. Thirty four year
old Shelby Hewitt, hit with forgery and identity fraud charges,
has pleaded not guilty and decides not to take up
the states offered a change or plea. Lawyers say the
concern by Hewitt, who suffers mental health issues, is part
of the plan requires a guilty finding. A trial now

is set to proceed in February. Not done yet. The
jury in the federal sex trafficking trial of Sean Dittycomb's
gets back at it today.

They told the judge they were unanimous on count two, three, four,
and five. Those are the sex trafficking and prostitution charges
against Shawn Diddy Combs, but they said there were unpersuadable
opinions their words on count one, the racketeering charge, accusing
