one hundred and twenty nine pounds. She's got long, skinny legs.
Caitlyn Clark. Maybe we could name her for her. I mean,
she's a basketball player.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Baby drafts are weird. They just come out knowing how

coming up first week of June at Northwest Stadium. And
here in the music minute, I can tell you another
concert story. Ronnie Dunn of Brooks and Dunn set fans
(03:15):
back a little bit. He abruptly left the stage during
an encore performance boot Scoot Boogie, and you've seen it
on TikTok, signaling to cut the song off in mid performance.
He then waved the crowd before exiting the stage. A
lot of fans were concerned, Yeah, is he having a
heart attack? At what's going on with the ma? Is he,
you know, sick? His people said, he's fine. He is sick,
(03:41):
but he will be able to continue with the next
tour date. They're proceeding, and you have a chance to
see Brooks and Done coming up May third at the
iHeart Country Festival if you win the trip this morning
at nine.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
So we've got to meet.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Major incident on ninety five celth bound at six ninety
five an accident earlier there.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Ninety three point one WPOC, Michael J and Bethany. I'll
tell you the one thing you can count on, and
when you hang with us, you never know what will
happen next because we try to figure that out.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I have three stories right today.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, and I want your opinion on this, and I
want if you're listening in your car, you're sitting on
ninety five, I want your opinion on this too.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Seven seven ninety six to two.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Begin your message with high or hay, okay or call
us eight hundred three two one thirty six ninety.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
I'm going to text over here. Okay, all right, three stories.
Let me know your opinion. Got it.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
In China, there's a great big mountain that people like
to hike.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
They have decided that they're going to install a series
of outdoor escalators to make it HIPing hiking easy.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Right, you like that idea?
Speaker 4 (04:57):
Well, you know, I think it's kind of ridiculous if
you're hike. It kind of takes the athletic you know,
part of it out. I mean, if you're taking escalator,
come on right right.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
They're saying it makes the mountains peak accessible to a
broader range of visitors.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
All right, So I get that, and you want the
fresh air and you want the sights, right, you know, but.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
It's a five thousand feet escalator. Oh that's terrifying. You know.
They've got some crazy things in China. I saw.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
I don't know if this was like Ai or whatever.
They had a staircase going up and there was no
handrails on it. Oh no, that's real, and it went
like way up in the air.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
I'm like, I'm not climbing. I'm not doing that.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah, okay, So about this a restaurant in Thailand has
started up controversy because it has a skinny discount program.
You'll save twenty percent on your food if you can
fit through a series of bars that get narrower and
narrower and narrower.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Is that before or after you eat it? Before you eat,
before you eat? Right? If you can get through it,
then you get to twenty percent off.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Well, because they figure you're going to eat less, so
you get twenty percent off.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
The restaurant's drawing controversy because of body shaming and unhealthy
body image.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, it's not really a good thing to do. Probably
not a good idea. But they have all you can
eat stuff, right, so this is like, well, I mean
it's given you a discount if you're a smaller person.
I don't know. Is it an all you can eat
type thing? No, No, it's just a regular restaurant. I
got you. Okay.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Then, speaking of restaurants, I've got the top ten casual
dining restaurants in the US. Okay, and these are not
fast food. You have to be waited on by a server, okay.
Number ten, Red Robin, Go Ahead, number nine, Red Lobster,
number eight, Cheesecake Factory number seven, Outback, number six, Longhorn Steakhouse,
number five, Buffalo Wild Wings.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
Any diners in here, we eat Baltimore diners. No, it's
like Chain, I gotcha, I got you.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Number four, Applebee's, number three, Chili's okay, number two, Olive
Garden that's and the number one one is Texas Roadhouse.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Oh, shout out to Texas Roadhouse. I was just with
a woman from the Texas Roadhouse up in Kakysville.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
They work with Bootbarn because they're both kind of a
Western theme.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Weigh in on what you think of those stories. Let
us know what you think. Seven to seven, nine six.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Who begin your message with hi or hey, I want
to hear from you.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Look up burly this small round.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Four ninety three point one WPOC. So you had a
couple of stories here about restaurants, and now we got
people texting in about their surprise.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Olive Garden is in the top ten.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Yeah, I guessed Applebee's they belong in the top five, right,
apple Bee's is number four.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
So yeah, I had three stories that kind of peaked
my interest today, so I wanted to pass them along.
One there's a restaurant in Thailand that has a skinny discount,
whereas if you make it through a series of metal
bars that keep getting smaller and smaller than you get
twenty percent of I only get like two percent off.
Someone that I love the idea in Thailand. And then
(08:01):
there's an a series of escalators that goes up a
mountain in China. So that's crazy, so that you know
it can be accessible for, you know, people of all
different abilities. And someone said, I love that idea, but
I hate most of the restaurants you named. I named
the top ten casual dining restaurants in the US, like
you said, Olive Garden number two, Texas Roadhouse number one,
(08:21):
then Chili's and Applebee's and Buffalo Wild, Ring Wings round.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
You know what's funny, I think there are some fast
food places that actually have better food than those sit
down places that you named. It almost tastes like some
of those restaurants are like I don't know if it's
just food that's coming in a box and it's just
frozen and then they throw it in an air fryer
or what they do back there.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
But you know what I mean, it just doesn't feel
homemade to you.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
No, It's not like when I go to Costas, or
if I go to you know, little Italy, or if
I go to like a real restaurant that really makes
food out of real food.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
I think that there are a lot of people who
just don't do chain restaurants and that's okay.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Someone said, I love the Mountain Escalator. It will help
older people get to meet their dreams of seeing a mountain.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
And yes to Texas Roadhouse ninety three point.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
One w POC traffic.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Somebody else said, do you ever give away stuff anymore?
I'm itching to go to a show. Oh funny, funny,
you should ask eight thirty this morning. We're gonna put
you in the hot seat giveaway tickets to go see
Curly Pierce.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
All right, there's a bad.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Bad accident on ninety five southbound at six ninety five.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Ninety three point one wpo C. Now, Michael J.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
And Bethany shout out to you if you're in traffic,
and boy oh boy, we're looking at cameras. Uh, it
is just a wall of traffic all the way around
the Beltway. It looks like in a lot of places
inner loop. Bethany right over to ninety five. Just got
a call from this guy over.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
Here, I don't want I'm coming over to brand before
you come back. Or seven he breaks everybody stopping on
a beltway going that way. You're shopping, shopping, go shop
and go. We're stopped here on the bridge.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Now he's heading towards Harford Road.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
What do you say, Yeah, the well, the accident in
ninety five southbound that happened much earlier this morning caused
you know, all of ninety five southbound through the whole
city to be delayed, and then of course it's backing
up onto the beltway as well, and eight ninety five
souths So this is really not a great If you
don't have to go anywhere, maybe don't.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yeah, I mean right now, just let it clear out
for the morning. If you're in it, please just leave
enough space in front of you so there's no more
rear end accident. Well that that does keep happening.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
There's an accident in three ninety five now, and you know,
so just the residual accidents keep happening.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
So here's some good news while you're in traffic.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
If you are one of those people who like to
gamble on your phone and you put money on the
gators last night.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Right, if you're watching NCAA, that was quite a game.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
I heard a lot of experts predicting that Florida would
make a comeback in the second half. That's what they did, Yep,
and they but they only pulled it out by two points.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Very very close game.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Other sports, Orioles won last night, So good to see
gunners back and East heading. Anything else we should mention
on this report, No, but I think we did it
all right. Well, listen if you're in your car. Main
thing to know is we know there's traffic ninety five
south from the north side of Baltimore all the way
down to the south side and ninety three point one
(11:23):
w POC traffic. It's all everybody's talking about this morning.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Plus Barclay Road eastbound and westbound at three thirteen is closed.
In Annapolis, things are stop and go on seven ninety
five between Owings Mills and six ninety. I mean, just
like any Hi Valley.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yes, we are.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
I keep us in the loop of entertainment and pop
culture and the things we shouldn't care about.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Somehow, we really knew its Beth a E. Three ninety
three point one POC.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
If you're going to see the Minecraft Movie. Be aware,
you have to behave in the theater.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Why apparently people are misbehaving at the Minecraft movie and
theaters are not having to put a warning.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Are they doing throwing popcorn? They just get They just
get excited.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
It's all about a game and it's Jack Black and
everyone's excited, you know. Congratulations to Kippy, she had a baby.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Kippy is the four year old draft that we just
got at the Maryland Zoo.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Apparently we we shipped her here and she was pregnant
and nobody knew.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
We don't know about the father either. Maybe it was
Jeffrey from Toys r US, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
And so anyway that I think that's really cute. The
new baby draft doesn't have a name yet, but I'm
suggesting Bethany. Violent crime down twenty percent in Baltimore City.
So we're celebrating that. The Masters kicks off Thursday in AUGUSTA.
Dire Wolves are back. A biotech company has revived the
extinct animal.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
We decided earlier this morning, we don't need that.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Lowe's is going to close all of their stores for
twenty four hours on Monday, April twentieth to show appreciation
for its workers continued dedication to serving customers.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
I thought you were going to say for home depot,
isn't it isn't that interesting?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
It is.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Well.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Clem Burke, the drummer for Blondie, has died at the
age of seventy. Netflix has picked up a Monopoly live
competition series that should be kind of interesting and.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
I love this.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
The Nashville Airport could possibly be renamed Dolly Parton International Airport.
There is a go change dot com, change dot org
petition going around with thousands of signatures because they want
Dolly's name to be on the Nashville Airport.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
I think I would love that.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic, So as we've been
talking about this morning, we have a really bad traffic situation.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
When Texter said, uh.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Pless poison, there's Warren Zeider's for your bumper to bumper
listening pleasure here at ninety three point one POC. I
don't know what is going on here with Michael j
and Bethany because we have a number of guys that
are called in Boom Boom Boom, all named Nick.
Speaker 1 (14:07):

Speaker 1 (14:10):

you do? Oh, I'm a driver? All right. You sound
like a fun guy if people tell you that.
Speaker 2 (14:18):

how it's gonna work. Bethany and give them the rules.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Nick, you have to answer all three in less than
three seconds, and if you don't, you're gonna.
Speaker 1 (15:06):

Speaker 2 (15:26):

I didn't hear that on you there, Nick.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Last question, Nick, lights on or lights off?
Speaker 4 (15:57):
No light detector on that one either, A god.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Well, hopefully light's on it. Carly Pearce c m I.
