arrow and was alleged to have been shooting at traffic.

other one had one that he turned on after the incident.

an officer, body cams are mandatory. Some turn on at random,
some are on all the time. Both of these officers
will see reprimands. And then I was questioning the bow
and arrow thing about the story. They said that they

arrow that you use in high school. It's a weapon

daily basis. When you go out to a call, you
don't know what you're facing. Yeah, and you get a
call like this in our Beutis where there's a man
who's you know, walking around with a bow and arrow.
We find out that he had I mean, obviously there
were some mental issues something was going on.

Yeah, So a man wearing a ski mask, armed with
a bow and arrow was fatally shot by Baltimore County
police and ar Buddhists after allegedly firing at passing cars.
Here's so this is that was the news article, right,
firing is what I have trouble with in that sentence
because he has a bow and arrow. He wasn't firing.

Well no, but if he's shooting arrows, he is. He's
firing arrows, I know. Yeah, but well maybe that's sensational. Yeah,
now I get it. But then that's what they said
that he was shooting. I mean, listen, a bow and
arrow can take you out like a gun can. That's
a serious thing.

So officers, there were two officers on the scene.

One of the officers shot and killed the man.

like is it optional to wear a bodycm? Does it
protect the officer, does it protect the people the civilians?

I mean, we have a lot of officers who listened,
a lot of state police, a lot of troopers. We
would love to hear from anybody in law enforcement who

forget that you're doing I forget that it's there, Like
you know, I just kind of wonder.

week a man who was armed with a crossbow an
arrow and was alleged to have been shooting at traffic.
Police respond, and we have questions because apparently, Bethany, you
say the officers one of.

The officers didn't have a bodycam at all, and the
other one had one that he turned on after the incident.

So I just pulled up some field manual information and
this is all public.

It's on the internet.

This was revised in twenty twenty four on duty members
wearing any class of uniform, and this is in Baltimore County.
They say are required to wear their BWC, which is
the body worn camera, and there's all these different stipulations.

I mean, if you go to a restroom, you can
turn it off, okay, but.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
You know, outside of that, it sounds like it needs
to be fully charged and you've got enough memory space
on there you're supposed to check before you start your
tour of duty. And then it looks like officers are
required to have those bwcs on.

So so according to the text, someone said, hey, as
an officer, body cams are mandatory. Some turn on at random,
some are on all the time. Both of these officers
will see reprimands. And then I was questioning the bow
and arrow thing about the story. They said that they
were firing a bow and an arrow. Right, It's like,

but someone said, a crossbow is not a bow and
arrow that you use in high school. It's a weapon
with high pressurized release people hunt large game with.

Someone else said, firing firing is the correct verb. A
crossbow is fired by pulling a trigger. It's a deadly weapon.
