Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, guys, it's Bethany from the Michael J Morning Show.
You're listening to Michael J and Bethany after Hours.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Ninety three point one w p C. Now tu.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Bethany just challenged me.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
She said, for trending this time, let's try to find
wholesome stories that are uplifting and encouraging.

Speaker 5 (00:25):
And a little negative.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
Yeah, you know, I think this can actually be uplifting.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
It's curious.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
At the same time, Putin just announced this is breaking news,
a unilateral three day ceasefire in Ukraine. Okay, from May
eighth through the eleventh. I find that kind of odd
because confusing. Well it is because it's only April to

(00:51):
twenty eighth. So in other words, what he's saying is
we're gonna take a three day break hiatus, right because
they want to commemorate World War Two on Victory Day.
So for three days they're not gonna drop bombs on Ukraine.
But between now and then, between now and May eighth,
it's all systems go.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
I don't know. I pray for.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Peace, and I think that anything they can do to
work toward peace is great, but it just seems kind
of odd. It's ten days from now, and that's when
they're gonna stop bombing.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
I appreciate you trying to find something good.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I think that's uplifting because at least maybe maybe there's
a crack, and you know what I mean, I pray
that everybody can come together and develop some sort of
maybe it's the beginning. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just
hoping for the best. I have a quick shout out
that might be uplifting. I spent a great deal of
time showing homes in Dundock this weekend, Okay, and boy

(01:44):
did I ever see four really great houses on really
lovely streets. And so I just want to shout out
to Dundock for being an affordable, adorable little community. I'm
crazy about Middle River Essex, dun Doc, all of it.
And there's so many beautiful places right on the water
that we've got just amazing ninety.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
Three point one WPOC traffic. Yeah, shout out to Dune.
My little shout out. I was like, Okay, don don, Yeah,
you're looking cute this weekend. That's awesome, all right, So lick,
we got some CE traffic, all right, let's hop to it.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
What is going on?

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Bethany The accident on fifteen southbound at Rosemont has cleared,
but looks like delays still remain. We're stopping go on
eighty three southbound between Pleasant and Fayette Street eight ninety
five before the Harbor Tunnel. Seems to be your biggest
delay right now, and there's an accident in eighty three
northbound between North and Parkway and Ruxunrode.

Speaker 7 (02:38):
I keep us in the loop of entertainment and pop
culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but somehow
we really do. East Bethanybree On ninety three point one
poc Sinners.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Ruled the North American box office again this weekend, taking
the number one spot I saw.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
I haven't seen it yet.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
I haven't either, but it must be the whole heararthing
people are in the mood for that.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I just thowt an article about it over the weekend
that actually made I don't love horror movies, so I
wasn't planning on seeing it, but the article that I
read over the weekend made it sound really interesting and smart, and.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
So I'm like, Okay, maybe I'll do it.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
If you want to text us seven seven nine six two,
begin your message with higher Hey, did you see Sinners?

Speaker 3 (03:17):
What did you think?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Lana del Rey, omg, she had everyone doing double takes
during her Stagecoach set because she dropped a new lyric.
Listen to this, Okay, I kissed Morgan Wallin. Well, I'll
get people what. First of all, I think I like
them as a couple, right, I think that's actually a
really great couple. But anyway, I just thought I would

(03:41):
pass that along. Keep your eye on that story. And then,
in a mostly fluff filled sit down with Tony of
CBS Mornings, seventy three year old Bill Belichick was asked
how he met his twenty four year old girlfriend, and she.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Said, we're not talking about this right. She was sitting here,
but she's earshot.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
I don't understand who brings their their date to an interview.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Apparently she interrupted the interview.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
She did it four times, and they kept some of
it in and took some of it out.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
I'm like, he's on a book tour, but she's.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Telling him what to say and what not to say.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
That's really interesting.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
A lot of guys were commenting saying, you know who
in the NFL, what coach sits down to be interviewed
and as their girlfriend sitting off camera deciding what's going
to go.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
On and what's not.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
What do you think, Well, maybe maybe she's more of
a publicist than I love her.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
What do you what do you think about him? Like
his faculties? Is he altogether?

Speaker 3 (04:40):
What I thought was odd? Is he sitting there with
a shirt.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
He had a sweatshirt on that was ripped like, and
he had like you could see his skin through, like
on the shoulder. It just looked like, I'm like, is
it laundry day? And that's all he had to wear.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I don't know. This guy is wild.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
It was a wild man.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
It was out there.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
He entered the nationwide keyword.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Ninety three point one w P O C. Hey, are
you ready for the hot?

Speaker 4 (05:11):
See? This is how we like to give away concert tickets.
Let me see if is John a big Dirk's Bentley fan?
Are you able to be honest and tell the truth quickly?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
All right?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Because if you don't answer within three seconds, we'd have
to buzz you and move on.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
So don't make that happen. It's John.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I don't like that, And John, where are you from?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
I'm from?

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Let's saying okay, all right, John, north of the PA line.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
All right, are still teaching people how to drive up there?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Maryland?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Now, John, let me ask you a question.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Does that mean you're a Steelers fan because you're in pay?

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (06:01):
All right, we like you better?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
All that?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
All right, you can stay, we like you better?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
All right? All right?

Speaker 5 (06:08):
Question number one John, three seconds? Do you pee in
the shower?

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
My goodness, no, don't ask me, just tell the truth
from that one.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
Question number two. A minute ago, we just talked about Bill.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Belichick and their giant age difference in his new relationship.
What's the biggest age difference that you'd be comfortable with
in a relationship.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Now fifteen years?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Okay? Yeah? Beyond that, you have nothing.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
To talk about different generations, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Alright?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Last, yeah, last question? Would you rather in the forest
or on the beach?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Think about this? The forest or the beach? Yeah? There
you go? Okay, John, he doesn't mind a little sayd
all right?

Speaker 4 (06:58):
All right, Hey on, I hope you're ready for a
country concert Jiffy Loube Live July eleventh.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Oh, you're gonna be there for Dirks Bentley. How about that?

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Oh right, that's great?

Speaker 7 (07:11):
Yes, it is ninety three point one w POC ninety
three point one wpo C.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Now, congratulations Baltimore, we won an a war.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Oh, but not something we want though.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
No, we just one dirtiest city in America.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Oh come on, I mean the whole city's not dirty. Well,
we do have some spots we need to work on. Yeah,
who's right behind us on this chart?

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Sacramento is number two, okay, and then Charlotte, North Carolina
number three.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
All right, I challenge everybody listening to ninety three point
one WPOC today to pick up one piece of trash.
If you're walking around, you're, you know, going between your
car and a store, your car, you see something on
the ground, pick it up. Yeah, it takes two seconds
and put it in the trash.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
We can make our differences today.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Right.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Hey, a man who was accused of using AI to
impersonate the principle of Pikesville High School and destroy his
reputation as scheduled to stand trial this week.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Jury selection and that begins today. That's wild. That's going
on Monday morning at nine am.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Hey, the Commander's football team is going to be getting
a new home. They're announcing this morning the organization has
agreed to a deal with the district and the Mayor
of Washington, DC is going to be teaming up with
Josh Harris, the owner of the Commanders, to make that
big announcement. They are getting rid of RFK and putting
a brand new stadium on its site. Should be ready

(08:45):
for football starting in twenty thirty.

Speaker 8 (08:49):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic. Okay, your book or
your Monday morning low cash?

Speaker 3 (08:59):

Morgan Wallan surprised everyone late last night when he he
released now Here We Go. I'm gonna I'm gonna give
up the minute just to hear what he's doing. He's
giving us an acoustic version of one of his new tracks,
just in case.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Are we ready? All right? Listen, I say that I.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Always leave on.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
The one isn't even been I'm moving on.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
I ain't saying.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Leaven someone put the real clothes, but I leave his face.
I can fugget you. Girl, forgot even know.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
I never away every time a child ship the beef,
and there's always a couplet to take, but I never
followed up. Baby, Just a case there it is way
up found.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
What I'm pretty song is. It's going to be on
his new album I'm the Problem, out in.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
May sixteenth, ninety three point.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
One, twenty of your all time country favorites Brooks and
Done Here on ninety three point one WPOC Michael Jay
and the things that I'm learning working with you, Bethany. Oh,
you're teaching me, you are, because I've learned that stuff
happens to women.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
That doesn't happen to guys.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
And it's different if it's a relationship, Like I've never
heard about this from someone I'm in a relationship with,
but you're telling me. And we did have a conversation
with Carly Pearce where the conversation of unwanted emails with
pictures and things showing up in it unsolicited.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
She talked about how she gets a lot of that.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
I was out yesterday with my lover and we were
in a drive thru and I got a snapchat and
I opened it because I was like, oh, went to this.
It was a completely unsolicited.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Picture or something she doesn't want to say, just leave
it at that. It was terrible. I like physically got nauseous.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
And then ended up getting into a little bit of
an argument, like in my own relationship, say that's not fair,
and I was like.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
I didn't ask for that. I don't know who this
person is.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
I I don't I've never met this this man before
in my whole life.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
It might not even be real.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
I don't know put a real number on how many
times this has happened to you. I would say, Tannish,
so out of the blue, this is like the part
that blows my mind.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Yeah, so you're just going through your I'll.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Be in my DMS, I'll like open, like I'll just
click on you know how sometimes they have like messages
from people who you weren't friends with or whatever, and
you'll like click on it and it'll be like.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Oh, I've gotten spam.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
I see. I'll get spam emails once in a while
of unwanted, solicited, unsolicited, but I've never gotten a direct
that's it sounds to me like someone directly reached out
to you.

Speaker 7 (12:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Yeah, and there's even.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
A name of or they he could have sent it
to every every woman on his list or you know,
I don't really know what goes through these people's brain.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
I don't know what that's.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
It's always a terrible picture too, by the way.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
What it's not complimentary? Could you get some lighting? Please?
My god?

Speaker 4 (13:17):
So the thing that I as a it blows me
away because I mean, like I I'm not around.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
You don't do that, you don't participate.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
And I'm trying to think of like what would be
the thrill of that, Like why is that something somebody
wants to do?

Speaker 7 (13:32):
Well?

Speaker 2 (13:32):
A couple of.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Questions, A couple questions here in Texas seven seven nine
six two. Begin your message with higher hay or call
us eight hundred three two one thirty six ninety three.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
How common is this? This is what I want to know.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
Ladies? Do you receive these? Has this been a problem
for you? Men? Are you sending these? What is your problem?

Speaker 4 (13:50):
I would love to know what, like, dude, if there's
goes through your brain, if there's a dude who thinks
it's funny or like, just send it out. I would
just love it. That's cool. You can be anonymous.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
And I'm not talking about in a cup, in a
relationship and a couple.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
This is between no, yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
No, that's not what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
I'm talking about completely unsolicited yeah, mine in my own business,
in the drive through, trying to have a date right now,
My date is interrupted because I have to argue now
because I don't even know this person.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Right, and you got somebody who's mad at you right
thinking that you're up to no good.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
I didn't ask for this, right, look at this picture.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
When I asked for this?

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Probably not all right? We'll go to the tax seven
seven nine six two.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Or eight.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Ninety percent.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Ninety three point one w POC Michael J and Bethany
and apparently Bethany, you're not alone getting unwanted unsolicited pictures.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Somebody said that this is a big deal on dating apps.
When I was on dating apps, this was a frequent
thing men would send. I'm married now, thank goodness. Someone said, hey,
I got to pick while my husband and I were
on a date, and it made me, Thank the Lord.
My husband's a better man in every way than that.
She said it's nasty and unwanted. Someone said, hey, I've

(15:04):
never received a picture like that unsolicited, and my husband
and I don't trade pictures like that. I don't get
it at all. Why would anybody want to do that
or receive those? And then someone said, as a man,
I find it highly disrespectful to send unsolicited picks. Personally,
I don't even send a pick if they want it, right,
I wouldn't.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Even take the picture because I would be afraid to
have that on my phone.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Do you know what I mean? And here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
I don't know that when you put a picture on
your phone that it doesn't get uploaded somehow.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
To go it does, right? Yeah, Well, and once that happens,
it's out there right.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
That is the I can categorically tell you that unless
there was a camera that I didn't know about coming
in some place, that's not happening.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
I mean, like, that's that's what blows my mind.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
I can't believe that that many guys apparently are doing it.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Yeah, well you don't care.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
I'm like, are you are? They like super proud? The
world needs the world deserves this picture.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Yeah, I mean like no, sir. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Well, anyway, apparently what I've learned from this this morning
is this is a lot more common than I had.
I never even really thought about it, to be completely honest.
This is not something that's like it might you know.
So so that's the first thing. And the second thing
is there must be some sort of an app or
something that women can have on their phone so they

(16:30):
don't have to look at this.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Well, it's tricky because it's not just happening in one program, Like,
it's not just happening in one app like mine was Snapchat.
But then some people are say some people are saying
it happens like well on the dating apps on Tinder.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
There's gotta be AI that they I mean, there's got
to be AI that can say, okay, get rid of that.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
I mean, frankly, I think the image was sort of
AI because Polly.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Ninety three point one to POC.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Traffic that definitely wasn't me.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
I know already ninety five Moravia Road and the Harbor
Tunnel is crawling right now
