Hey, guys, it's Bethany from the Michael J Morning Show.
You're listening to Michael J and Bethany after Hours.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yeah, ninety three one.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
W p C.
Speaker 4 (00:14):
Now, right. A couple of days ago, on Sunday night,
they had this interview with Bill Belichick which was was
held in Annapolis. All right, that's the local tie in.
But because he went to school there, right, well.
Speaker 5 (00:29):
You know he's he's originally grew up there. All right, right,
that's dead. He worked with the Ravens. I mean like
he's a local guy.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
So anyway, the reason the story is still buzzing is
because the video clip went viral where he was asked
a question, he answered, and then he was asking another
question and his girlfriend chimed in. Well here's what happened.
Let me take you from the beginning. He was asked
and told I've.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Got an opinion about your private life. He's got nothing
to do with them, but they're invested in it.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
How do you do that? I've never been too worried
about what everybody else. Thanks, just to try to do
what I feel like is best for me and what's right.

Well in other news, Okay, the Orioles are gonna have
a new pitcher tonight, Kyle Gibson, Well, of.
Speaker 5 (01:29):
Course, we get a new pitcher every night. I don't
understand that. Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
See, there's a rotation of starters. Like last night, Sugano
was the starter.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
He's did great.
Speaker 5 (01:37):
Why can't we keep him?
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Well? Because he can't pitch every night. So you can
you pitch every four to five days? Your arm would
be spent. Okay, you know you can't.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
There's no way you can pitch every night.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
But last night, Ryan O'Hearn did hit a home run
and then went to the hydration station where he was
caught on a hot mic hydration sunshine.
Speaker 6 (02:00):
Yeah, let's see what Bill Belichick's girlfriend. Wait, what does
she have to say?
Speaker 5 (02:04):

about it No.

a handicap out.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
If you listen, if you can break one hundred on
any kind of a regular basis, you're a pro in

special every day. The ACM has added their sixtieth anniversary gala.
They're gonna honor Brooks and Done and they say, we
haven't done this since the fiftieth anniversary, so and I
(04:35):
haven't to put together something like this. The lineup is
absolutely off the charts. They're gonna have Eric Church, Cody Johnson,
Megan Morony, Keith Urban, Laney Wilson. And the tickets start
at fifteen thousand dollars for eight seats with premium options available.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
So are we gonna No, we're not.
Speaker 4 (04:54):

Speaker 4 (04:58):
And speaking of the Academy Country Music Awards coming up
and live on TV next Thursday night, not this Thursday,
Thursday the eighth, they have.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Ninety three point one w Poc trev.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Ninety three point one WPOC. We always hear about some
crazy things going on around around Baltimore and nothing.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
You just blew my mind. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
So I know we have a lot of foxes, right,
We have a lot of wildlife deer, we have rabbits,
you know, all kinds of world critters. Yeah, but a
fox is a is a wild wild animal, correct. I
mean these are not to be trained, correct, But somebody
believes you can.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
So one of my neighbors, I'm not gonna say who
the fox. We have foxes in our neighborhood like crazy,
everybody does.
Speaker 8 (06:13):
Ok.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
Yeah, so they start setting stuff out for the fox.
Speaker 9 (06:18):
Defeed it right, It came around their yard like every day.
Like I thought you were telling about trapping the first.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
No, no, they didn't trap it.
Speaker 6 (06:26):
They just set like something out, Okay, some some snacks, right,
you know, whatever leftovers and stuff like that. So the
fox keeps coming around, blah blah blah. Next thing you know,
it's like coming around and hanging out on the porch.
Then they put a bed out for the fox. The
fox is sleeping on their porch.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
Now they let it inside somebody, No, yes, no, no, no, no,
it comes in and out, I swear to God, and
I was like, uh, really.
Speaker 6 (06:53):
She just told me the story, and I was like,
I don't I don't know if that's a good idea.
Like they don't have any kids in the house, and
they don't have any other pets, so it's like fine,
I guess No, it's not fine.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Think can rip your house. So Mike, plus, it could
attack you.
Speaker 6 (07:08):
But it made me think, I bet these aren't the
only people, my my little neighbors down the street aren't
the only people with a fox living in their house.
So I bet somebody listening right now has a wild
animal in their house, and I want to hear about it.
Seven seven ninety six two begin your message with higher
hate You don't you don't believe it.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
No, I don't believe.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
I mean, I can't believe you would let a fox
in your house because that I mean.
Speaker 6 (07:27):
She's like, well, whenever we make chicken, I just save
some of those scraps.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Of course, the fox is gonna oh my the chicken. God.
Speaker 6 (07:34):
I'm like, are you worried it's going to turn on you? No, No,
he's just the sweetest. I was like, So he claws
your face out.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Yeah, no, no, no, no, so anyway, this.
Speaker 6 (07:48):
Is you, you know somebody like this eight hundred three
two one thirty six ninety three.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
No do you know those constant you feel out?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
There's a sign there rolling you back.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
I mean three point one w poc Michael jan and
Bethany hate Caitlin, what did you say?
Speaker 3 (08:04):
One of the neighbors was feeding these two foxes and
now they literally are just hang out and they sleep
on top of the.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
Car at her place too. She's saying this and it's.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Annoying because we can't just let the dogs out anymore.
Speaker 5 (08:17):
Right, See, this is not okay. Next thing, you know,
those foxes are gonna be inside.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
And not only that, can't they kind of I don't know, diseases.
Did they carry disease?
Speaker 5 (08:26):
Right? That's what I'd be afraid of.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yeah, yeah, exactly right.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
I mean you don't want them around your dogs too,
I mean that would be horrible. Wait till you hear
these texts that I got com We're gonna get to
them after Caine Brown. I believe Marshmallow you can text
two seven seven nine six do. We can't wait to
hear from you in just a few minutes.
Speaker 8 (08:45):
Tugs big lift oh roach, weep in turn up since
way back when these wheels are in us and neo hitch,
neo siete no hitch story, and you just can't fake that.
Speaker 5 (08:57):
So let's change that, girl.
Speaker 8 (08:58):
Let's go push some was on back to said at
the end, running just you and me and a chuck bed.
Well at carlis born, you can't. We could break it
in if you know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (09:13):
Put the mat.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
Ninety three point one wpoc there.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
He is the ACM Award winner for Best New Male Artist.
You'll be hearing more about him and all the other
award winners at the ACM Awards a week from Thursday,
May eighth.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
Hey, it's Lindsay on the line. Go ahead, Lindsay.
Speaker 7 (09:32):
So when I was.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Growing up, I did have a pet deer because a
family friend found the baby on the side of the road.
So called my momm up and it's like, hey, I have.
Speaker 9 (09:43):
A baby deer.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Would you like to take it?
Speaker 3 (09:46):
You know, because the mom's not obviously around. She would
actually pass from a car head and we took her in.
We put a bell on her. We didn't now contain her,
but she kept on coming back, and like at her
she we were right there by the Pennsylvania Maryland line
in Carroll County, and she used to walk to Pennsylvania
(10:06):
down Littlestown sidewalks and people freaked out because they saw deer.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
Wow, So she was completely tame, you think, Yeah, yes,
that is kind of sweet to.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Get chocolates out of my brother's pockets because my brother
had her.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
She kisses, she.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Loved her pizza. She ate everything.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
But me, see, you're you're kind of convincing me.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
The only thing is, I wonder, does it make it
so they can't like cope with, you know, living in
the wild.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Does she went across She went across the street to
the woods all the time and saw her boyfriend.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
Really was there going on and he's got a life.
So did she completely grow up and become a matured deer?
And you were still with her?
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Unfortunately she got hit because we lived at the bottom
of a hill and my neighbors chased her out on
the road. Now she still way before crossing roade.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
She was like better than adult. Oh, but they lost Bambi.
Oh that's sad.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
See, there's another reason why I don't know if I
want to try to domesticate a wild animal.
Speaker 6 (11:11):
I don't know from the text. Hey, I feed all
the foxes and possums around my house. I've even named them.
Oh my goodness, they come out.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
Of the woods when they hear me.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
Then someone else said, I know a person who has
a family full of raccoons that come and eat and
walk in and out of their house. Someone said it's
common in the Midwest to have a house wild animals
like fox, raccoon, coyotes. Somebody else they said, we have
a fox named Ziggy. He's crazy. Foxes are nocturnal, so
(11:45):
we didn't get any sleep. Everybody in my house needed
a raby shot.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (11:50):
Then then we've got the other side of things, right,
you know this is inhumane. They need to call animal control.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
You know this kind of thing. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (11:59):
My boss says an outdoor cat. He put out food
for the cat, and then a fox started coming around.
Now the cat and the fox are best friends and
they play together.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
Oh my god, it's like you do this.
Speaker 6 (12:08):
Somebody said, it's important to remember that foxes are part
of the dog family.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
They have similar behaviors and features.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Yeah, I just worry about disease and when you get
to raccoons and rabi's and all of that.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
You know.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Ninety three point one WPOC Traffic.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
Somebody else said, hey, guys, not.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
In my house, but my wife feeds six squirrels and
two groundhogs every morning.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
Wow, guys, break snow white. This is wild Yeah. All right.
Speaker 6 (12:33):

accident reported. Things are stop and go back to exit

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Hey, I think it was Mary Lynn at a wild
Birds Unlimited. Shout out to her if you need animal feed. Yeah,
I think she's so full. She's the place to go
in Timonium.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Saturday, the biggest stars and music will be taking the stick.
Ninety three point.
Speaker 5 (13:17):

Orioles fan. I know I'm excited. We beat the Yankees
last night four to three. I feel like that's a
big deal.
Speaker 8 (13:29):
It is.
Speaker 9 (13:30):
Well.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
First off, our picture Sugano eight strikeouts.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
He did a great job.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
Ryan O'Hearn hit a massive home run under the flag
Court was beautiful, his swing, the ball, everything about it.
And then he went to the Homer hydration station, which
Bethany is where they get a you know, some water
after they hit a home run. It's the reward for
a job well done, right, And apparently right after right
(14:01):
after having a little hit of water, Ryan O'Hearn was
caught on a hot mic.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Oh that's always dangerous, and all I can do.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
Is play the clip and we had to put the
appropriate peeps Hire sunshine. What he's he said something that's
not repeatable on broadcast. Oh boy, but it was on
a hot mic in New York City. That's kind of great. Yeah,
and that's that's good. You get to brag a little.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
If you beat the Yankees. Yeah, he was just excited
after putting that pig home run up. Did you see
you know Antiques Roadshow came through town?
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (14:37):
Did you see that somebody had a painting worth five
hundred thousand dollars?
Speaker 9 (14:41):
Did they know it going in? Because sometimes they go
in and they have, like, you know, they have like
an idea.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
You know, there's yard sale items and things that they find,
and other times maybe they know it.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
I mean, I don't know what the story was I
love how they shot it at the zoo too. Oh wow,
I didn't know that.
Speaker 6 (14:55):
Yeah, if anybody went there or took something, let us know.
Seven seven nine six two. Begin your message with higher Hey,
and how are you doing this morning? That's what we
want to know, Just text us. We want to know
in one word, how are you doing this morning?

Speaker 5 (15:18):
Things are still stop and go though.
Speaker 6 (15:20):
There's an accident in B to B Parkway northbound between
one hundred and one ninety five that's moved to the
right shoulder. We're stopping go on the outer loop already

Speaker 6 (16:10):
We can do it.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
I keep us in the loop of entertainment and pop
culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but somehow
we really Do's Bethany's Brief on ninety three point one WOC.
Speaker 6 (16:23):
Just a heads up that Gabby Simone from West Baltimore
is crushing it.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
She is incredible on American Idol. Man, I just watched.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
I just went down a rabbit hole and watched the
whole bunch of clips of her eye like wow, So
where are they in the process. I think they're in
the top twelve.
Speaker 9 (16:36):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Yeah. And she's a star. She sounds like Whitney used
he he's really good. She really does. So keep an
eye on her.
Speaker 6 (16:43):
Congratulations to Mark Carney, he's been elected as Canada's new
Prime Minister.
Speaker 9 (16:48):
Okay, so that was an American idol though. No, No,
it's like it's version all right.
Speaker 6 (16:57):
The people who keep track of who un follow who
on social media is so interesting to me. When you'll
hear a headline like so and so unfollowed so and
so on social media, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Who has time for that?
Speaker 6 (17:09):
But anyway, right, Travis Kelcey unfollowed Ryan Reynolds. Okay, this
is the latest in that Justin Baldoni, the Blake Lively saga.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Because Taylor Swift got called into.
Speaker 9 (17:21):
Court, right, and she's apparently real salty about it, and
he's salty.
Speaker 6 (17:25):
It sounds like, right, So I don't know, I am
I okay, I want to take a poll on this
seven to seven nine six two. Begin your message with higher, Hay,
are you invested in this Blake Lively Justin Baldoni thing
at all?
Speaker 5 (17:38):
Yeah? I'm not personally, but I am so sick of
hearing about it. Yeah, So I don't cover a lot
of the stories because I'm like, does anybody care? Why
do we care?
Speaker 9 (17:47):
Do we care?
Speaker 5 (17:48):
Let me know I'm text. If I say no, you
all want to keep hearing about it, I'll keep giving
it to you. If not, we're gonna We're gonna ax
it right here, let's go all right. And lastly, Tina
Fey has reacted to a fake poster.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
Going around the internet of a Golden Girl's reboot that
actually looks really good. Okay, it would be Amy Poehler,
Tina Fey, Lisa Kudro from Friends in Maya Rudolph as
the new version of the Golden Girls, and everyone on
social media is like yes, yeah, yeah, that'd be great,
and Tina Fey is like, no, no, no, she said,
(18:21):
I would never touch this the Golden Girls.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
The original is too perfect.
Speaker 9 (18:25):
Oh whatever, come on, bring it on. It's a.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Man.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Go ahead, George Straight.
Speaker 10 (18:37):
I won't tell you a funny story. When I first
signed with MCA Records in nineteen eighty one, you know,
they all the people were going take the hat off.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Can you imagine if I would have done that.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
Well, for one thing, you'd look like a doctor, you
know what I mean, you'd feel like he was a
doctor because you were.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
There's a suit and tie, yeah, and the hat is
who he is. Yeah, he's a cowboy. What are you
gonna do?
Speaker 6 (19:06):
Like literally a rancher? Yeah, I'll tell you what. And
that clip he's still pretty hot. Well, he's George Straight,
I'm like, wow, you can still get it, Sir.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Ninety three point one w POC, Michael J. And Bethany
So a little question this morning about this this case
that has taken over the meeting.
Speaker 6 (19:24):
I just won't stop. And frankly, I don't know how.
I don't know why it hasn't been settled out of
court yet, like they're going to go to trial.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
On this, right, And now Taylor Swift is being deposed,
so that takes it to a new level.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
And weirdly, Hugh Jackman, I don't know what he has
to do with it.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
And so a lot of people are commenting on it,
and Bethany, you brought up do people really care?
Speaker 6 (19:47):
So this is about so okay, should I start In
the beginning of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni made a
movie together, right, And the movie is a sort of
they sort of said it was a rom so based
on book. They sort of said it was a rom com,
but it's really a drama about abusive relationships. And in
the movie they worked on it together, they wrote and
(20:10):
rewrote the script or whatever, blah blah blah.
Speaker 5 (20:12):
Well now.
Speaker 6 (20:14):
Now they're suing each other, right, and Blake is saying
that Justin sexually harassed her. I don't know it goes
on now. They both have websites like where they like
slam the other person. Right, they sued and countersuited, So this.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
Sums it all up. Yah, while a lot of people
are saying who cares? And honestly, I say who cares?
Because I don't care about either one of them. However,
I understand that a lot of people do care, so
we need so April, April Montalano is a I would say,
a thirty something woman. She writes for everyone saying who cares?
(20:49):
It's an unfollow because there was an unfollow. You want
to explain that part real quick about.
Speaker 6 (20:54):
Travis Kelcey unfollowed Ryan Reynolds, who's Blake Lively's husband, exactly
because Lake dragged Taylor into the case exactly.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
So April says, this is a major story in a
lawsuit where Blake Lively accused her male co star of
sh sexual harassment, but the co star countersued and showed
evidence of a black mail where b l Blake Lively
said Taylor Swift was her dragon and can destroy him.
Speaker 5 (21:26):
This proves his account is true. So see this is
she's deep into it.
Speaker 6 (21:31):
Right, people, some people really care about this. Yeah, it's

like personally Bethany, it doesn't care. So that's my question.
So somebody explain that, Yeah, why do we care? So
on text, so I just asked, who cares? Should we
keep covering this case? Someone said, Hi, I had to
(21:53):

Speaker 5 (21:57):

and here's why, because we do. Because sexual harassment happens
in everyday life also, and a lot of times, like
when art imitates reality, like regular civilian life imitates celebrity life.
Speaker 5 (22:20):
So for that matters, I think we do need to care. Well,
Katie sums it up.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
She says, imagine if social media still had a top
eight like MySpace. She remembers that she says the drama
would be unending. That's true, So I don't know, you know,
we all have our focus on things that we're interested in.
This may or may not be in your realm, but
it's still big out there with a lot of folks.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
On your car, hard hit hidden out of the baby
cass that word car.
Speaker 9 (22:54):
So the
