consultant's CEO of credit man, andshe got my credit all the way together.
The baby, you got bragging right? Come on now because I'm in
an eight hundred testout house. Thenit's gonna let you know how to get
in that ross. Welcome to theMother No Show. My first guest,
(00:48):
my friend rannee your house? What'sup? Show? Listen? I feel
good all over. I just toldyou I feel I'm wholesome. Baby.
My mind is right, my spiritis right, my physique is right.
You know I lost about forty tofifty pounds. Well, guess what my
finance is in credit? Is right? Because if that ain't correct, nothing
will be caused. You look amazing. Thank you. I met you at
(01:11):
the door. You smell like aguardens Lily and daffodils and roses. I
just love it. You. Thankyou, I appreciate you for having me
here. I'm so excited just tospread knowledge and give people, you know,
content and information that will enhance theirquality of life. Overall, the
(01:32):
goal for me, my mission inlife, is to help everybody become whole.
It's beauty. It's beautiful on thesides. It is you, and
I just say thank you for helpingme restore my credit eight years ago.
You are professionable, you are knowledgeable. Listen, and you specialized in results.
You took me from a score ofsix point fifty to currently eight year
(01:53):
one hundred. Well, you tookyou there. I gave you the tools
and you did the work. Baby. Let's let's talk about the word.
Everybody in name mother has been askinghow'd you do it? I got the
professional here. She's gonna tell you, Ronie Shall let the good people know.
How can you get into this exclusiveclub? First and foremost, you
gotta have discipline. I just wastelling my fourteen year old this yesterday.
(02:15):
I said, son, you sayyou want things, but you not showing
up for yourself. You have toshow up for yourself. You have to
practice discipline. Discipline requires you toshow up when you don't feel like it
or when it's uncomfortable. So evenwhen it comes to finances, there may
be a period where you know youdon't have the money to pay down the
debt as quickly as you would liketo. But if you practice discipline and
(02:38):
you eliminate some of those pleasurable thingslike getting your hair done, in your
nails, or entertainment, going toa basketball game, or just even some
of the subscriptions that you have subscribedto. If you can eliminate some of
those things and practice the discipline, and it may be uncomfortable. You know
who don't want to treat themselves allthe time to the things they enjoy,
especially when they work hard. Butyou have to practice the discipline. So
(03:00):
my thing first and foremost for myclients and to the listeners is to get
your mind right, to get inthe mindset of I need to do this
for me, I need to showup for me, and it's going to
take some sacrifice. So start therefirst, and it definitely takes a lot
of sacrifices. I worked my tailor to make sure I got into this
(03:23):
club. I talked about it daily. It was something that meant the world
to me, because exceptional credit meanseverything. I never forget Rodnisha, the
car that I own. Now,I went right to Kiya. They did
not ask me for money. Feelgood. Let me stand up time.
First time I went to a dealershipand they because my credit was so good,
(03:49):
I said, baby, you needno money down? I said,
thank you Jesus. I don't thinkpeople even understand that you having good credit
for me. It saves you somuch money. So let's imagine if you
didn't put yourself in that position, right and you still had let's say,
if you had a five to fifty, you would go in there and they
would say, listen, you wouldneed to put down ten thousand, five
(04:11):
thousand. You just save yourself afive thousand dollars down payment just because you
practice the discipline, You stay consistent, and now it's a habit for you.
I bet you don't play with theircredit, not at all. Would
you co sign for somebody? Hellno, not at all. It's not
worth it. I tell my familyy'all. Bet y'all know not to ask
(04:32):
me for nothing. Now what Iwill do if I see that you are
trying to help yourself first, Iwill add you to my trade lines to
let you piggyback off of some ofmy credit cards and my excellent payment history
and my dynamic credit utilization. Sothat will help increase somebody's scores without them
having to do anything. But ifI did everything for you, you will
(04:54):
never get into the habit of practicinga discipline and doing what's needed to maintain.
Because here's the thing, and thisis why I'm so proud of you.
You have maintained good credit and notonly did you maintain, you progressed
over the years. So now that'sa habit for you. You ain't breaking
it, not at all, notat all. And we got to talk
(05:16):
about credit utilization. Why is itimportant in Rhaniesha to pay attention to credit
utilization? It's super important. AndI teach financial literacy in the schools.
Now, I teach financial literacy inthe schools because just imagine how powerful our
youth would be if they were educatedthe same way I educated you and showed
(05:39):
you what to do. If theygot that information before graduating high school,
how their lives would change. Welet them go into their adult life without
having any knowledge on finances or credit. Right, So they're doomed. Basically,
we teach them all the algebra andgeometry and science and political this and
that and that, but we don'tgive them the no knowledge that they need
(06:00):
to succeed financially in this world. So it's super duper important to teach credit
utilization and how to manage your credit. Not just go out and buy things
that you know you can't afford.Somebody gives you a ten thousand dollars credit
card, you ain't supposed to spendthe whole ten thousand. You're gonna find
yourself in debt. And what's gonnahappen is you're gonna get so overwhelmed by
(06:24):
all of these high credit card balancesthat at some point you're gonna say,
you know what, I ain't gotit, and now you inject your credit
up. So when it comes toyour credit cards, if you have a
five hundred dollars credit card, technicallyyou're not supposed to spend more than thirty
percent of that. Thirty percent offive hundred is one fifty, so you
should not exceed more than one pinfifty. Your balance should not go over
(06:46):
that. When you go over thatthirty percent threshold, you'll notice that your
scores will drop. Now, thegood thing about utilization is when you pay
the balance down, what do youthink happens to your scores? They go
back up. So that's a goodthing. So you definitely want to pay
attention to the balances that you arecarrying on those credit cards. And this
goes back to that discipline again.Come on, somebody, bow wow heads
(07:13):
bow our heads. Yes, Soyeah, that's very important. Credit utilization.
Getting into the eight hundred credit scoreclub is tough. Staying in it's
tougher. Give us some tips ofhow to stay in this damn club.
How to stay in. Pay yourbills on time. I don't even think
people are aware that one payment, one late payment on one of your accounts
can lower your scores thirty to onehundred points. So imagine working hard all
(07:39):
these years, mother, and thenyou accidentally forgot to pay your credit card
payment and then they reported delay, and your scores that went down eighty points.
You gonna scream, aren't you?I'm screaming when it goes down three
points. Imagine if you was Imagineif you were laid on two accounts what
that could do to your scores. So you gotta make sure that you pay
(08:00):
your bills on time, okay,And then there's like certain tricks that you
can do if you have a creditcard payment due, or if you have
a loan payment rather if it's amortgage loan or a student loan or a
car loan, any of those things. Sometimes if you know that it's gonna
be tight for you, you cancall and tell them and say, hey,
I would like to switch my paymentdue date. So let's say,
(08:24):
if the payment is get ready tobe doing a fifth and you like it's
the first I know it's gonna betight, You'll call and say, can
I switch my payment due date tothe twenty eighth. So you just gave
yourself some more time to try tomake that payment on time. I tell
everybody you can always recover from creditutilization, but it's very hard to recover
from a late payment. I greeyou want to thank you. Thank you
(08:46):
from the bottom of my heart.I will never forget when I met you.
You've always remained the same, neverchange and continue to help our people.
