Speaker 1 (00:02):
From the heart of the Space City to the heart
of gen Z. Welcome to Next Gen Conversation, not Dad's
Talk Radio. Ethan talks to you about the issues and
events that men are to our generation. This is the
Next Gen Reports with Buchanan.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Hey, good evening, Houston to Headache. How are we I'm good.
Hope you're good too.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
If you're not, let me know.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Reach out to me on X at Underscore Ethan Buchanan.
I'd love to interact with you there. I'm very active
on X It's a great place to be. I will uh,
I will preach the ex Gospel until I die, and
I'm not even paid to do it. I just really
do enjoy being on that platform. It's just great.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I like it. I spend too much time on there.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Actually, they might be a problem, who knows.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Gosh, we have got a lot to get into this week.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
We've got some goings on with Epstein, which we are
not going to stop talking about. But I'm not going
to talk about it. If there isn't anything new, there
is something new. We have some new stuff as far
as Epstein is concerned. Some people are upset about what
we're seeing going on, and I think they're missing the
bigger picture, So we'll get into that a little bit.
We've also got some good news about some clinics and

(01:17):
whatnot that definitely need to be shut down across the
country getting shut down. Of course, the Democrats are losing
their mind about redistricting. We've talked about that in detail
as well. We'll get into all of that coming up. First,
I want to talk about immigration a little bit, and
I want to give you a prime example of what
I think the real problem in this country is. And

(01:41):
it's bleeding heart liberal white women. That really is the issue.
And the problem stems from the fact that, for whatever reason,
these bleeding heart liberal white women can't disconnect emotion from
everything else. I've made this case a number of times
in the past. I think that your average liberal white

(02:05):
woman really does mean well, she just can't extrapolate an
individual scenario across a larger going on. Right, She can't
look she looks at one illegal immigrant that maybe does
really want to come here and build a better life
and work hard, and she doesn't realize that, oh, if
you let him slide, and then maybe the next five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty, five,

(02:28):
thirty thousand, all of a sudden, you have a major
problem on your hands.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
That just doesn't click.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I don't know why the liberals can't grasp this, specifically
the liberal white women, but they can't. Here's an example
of this. This is an arrest of an illegal alien
by a CBP border patrol and they're just trying to
grab this guy arrest him as is their right and duty.
And this lady is losing her mind about Oh, I
can't get his phone number. Oh I can't get his ID?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Oh what are you doing? Why are you wearing a mask?
Ladi nadi da.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
She starts cussing them out and fussing, And I really
do think that she means well. I really do think
that she thinks she's being a good person. Take a
listen to this.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
You're taking him afore I can take a phone number
from him. You need to stop.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
You need to stop kidnapping people on the street.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
You just break him away when I'm holding family for him.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Show show me your restaurant, because you're a flier, you're
not an interesting party.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
You have no right to see.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
That got you guys are kidnapping people on the fucking street,
just tossing him in the car This isn't a kidnapping.
She doesn't understand this, this is law enforcement. She thinks
she's entitled to step in and be his savior.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
She's not.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
She's a random person. She has no connection to him,
she has no connection to this operation. Why can't I
see the warrant? You don't need to see the warrant.
We don't have to show you anything. And that's what
they don't understand. They have a savior complex. I don't
get it. That really is the rude issue. They have
a savior complex. They want to be the savior. I
think it's guilt. It's it's because they've been so guilt

(04:19):
tripped by the walk left.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
They think, oh, white people are so terrible.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
They they stole all this land and they conquered all
these people, and that guilt trip really.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Does work on these people, and so now they have
to make up for it.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Oh, my ancestors were so evil, But now I'm gonna
rescue this poor Hispanic man that crossed the country, crossed
into the country illegally and is now being arrested. No,
that's not your role, that's not your job. You don't
have to be the savior here. It gets worse, keep listening.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
Because what because someone came over to help them, you
have to rush and get them in the park.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Not being obstructed.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
You're being obnoxious and obstructive. God blessed these officers. He's
border bis. They're like, listen, we're just to please shut up.
You're being obnoxious and obstructive. Hats off to them for
being so chill about this obnoxious you're being obnoxious percent

(05:17):
These people are so annoying just watching this video. These
have got to be insanely insufferable people to be around.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Have no conscience.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Yep, if you're doing something right, take yours off then and.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
There it is.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
That's the line every single time. Take your mask off.
Then if you guys are the good guys, take your
mask off. Why are you hiding your face? I don't
know how the left managed to go and I mean,
this lady's clearly in her at least late twenties, probably
going into her early thirties. How she got to this
point in life without understanding that law enforcement hiding their

(05:58):
faces during certain law enforcement all orations is actually pretty normal.
This actually happens all the time. They're trying to act
like this is something super radical and crazy and insane.
Why are you hiding your face? What do you have
to hide everything? Their famili's identities, and not because they're
doing something wrong, because you people are crazy And this

(06:19):
actually happens all the time.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
This is frequent.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I ask Grok, what are some law enforcement activities that
officers would kind of hide their faces during? Because contrary
to popular belief, this didn't just start happening undercover operations.
Officers working undercover, such as infiltrating criminal organizations or gangs
like cartels, often conceal their identities to avoid recognition. That

(06:42):
can involve disguises, masks, or other means to obscure their
faces and blend into the environment to avoid being targeted
or identified by targets, swat or tactical raids during high
risk operations like hostage rescues, drug busts, or counter terrorist emissions.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Remember, cartels are.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Listed as terrorists as far as the United States government
is concerned.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
SWAT teams or tactical.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Units may wear balaclavas, sche masks, or helmets with face shields.
This protects their identities from suspects or bystandards and provides
them with some physical protection. Riot or crowd management, counter
terrorism organizations, surveillance missions, witness protection or vip escorts, hostage negotiations.
All of this is done so that these crazy people

(07:27):
don't dox these law enforcement officers. And if you think
that's not happening, I've got a bridge to sell you
in Brooklyn. The moment they get the opportunity to start
doxing these law enforcement officers, they will because again they
think they're the Gestapo. Would you dox the Gestapo? Of
course you would, because what the Gestapo was doing was wrong.
This is good and these people should be allowed to

(07:48):
protect themselves. All right, stay tuned, We'll be right back.
We've got a great show coming up. I mean, Duchanan,
this is the next Gen Report, alady, Welcome back, folks.

(08:21):
The next general port at Underscore Ethan Buchanan on X
I want to give you, since we just talked about
how bad it is to just let people in even
if we think they mean well, here's an example of
why we can't allow these people in this country.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
We just can't.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
The fact of the matter is we do have a
difficult immigration system. We do, and people will say, oh,
that's so bad. People want to come here and build
a better life, and we're making it so difficult for them.
That's why they have to cross the border illegally. We
have to make it difficult. We have to have a

(09:00):
long process to weed out all the people that try
to come to this country, because if we don't, bad
people do get in. This is an objective fact. The
fact of the matter is everybody does want to come
to the United States of America because we are the
greatest country in the world and it's not particularly close.

(09:21):
The problem with that is all the people that want
to come here aren't good people. Some of them are,
all of them aren't, and we have to weed out
the good from the bad, and that is difficult to do.
So we have to have a long drawn out process
because if you don't, people like this guy get in
illegal alien accused of murdering fifteen year old boy as

(09:42):
he tried to protect his mother from being raped. This
is what happens when you start making exceptions to the
immigration law, when you start saying, no, we need to
let everybody in. We shouldn't have borders anymore. People are
just coming here to build a better life. There's nothing
wrong with that. There is something wrong with that because
These are the people that you get. They're not all

(10:03):
like this. Don't misinterpret what I'm saying here. I'm not
saying every single illegal alien is a would be rapist,
but there's enough of them out there to raise concern right.
An illegal alien is accused of murdering a fifteen year
old boy in Morehead, Kentucky, after the teen tried to
protect his mother from being raped. According to the Department

(10:26):
of Homeland Security, Gildaraldau Guildart, I'm not even kidding.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
That's how it's spelled. G I L d A R
d O.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Gildardo Guildardo Amandor Martinez, a thirty six year old illegal
alien from Mexico, has been arrested by the Morehead Police
Department and charged with murdering fifteen year old Luis Lopez,
assaulting the boys three year old sister, Naomi Agarsella Nuniez
or grisseld Nuniez I don't know, and attempting to rape
the boy's mother, Alito Lopez. According to police, Armando Martins,

(11:00):
who had been in a relationship with Alida Lopez, arrived
at the family's apartment and sought to have sex with
the woman. When she refused, he attempted to rape her,
according to police, and bit her several times. This is
why we have to have strong borders. I recognize that
you want to help everyone, and that's great, but it's
not possible.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
It just isn't.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
So the question then becomes who do you want to help.
Do you want to help your people or do you
want to help their people, because it can't be both.
My preferences are people. I think our people should be
our top concern. Keeping our citizens from being raped and
murdered is more important to me than helping some poor

(11:43):
family in Mexico build a better life for themselves.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
I hope they figure it out.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
I hope Mexico gets better as a country because they
are a craphole country.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
But we are not an economic zone. We just aren't.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
We can't be everybody's little piggybank where they go to
make money that they can't make in their home country.
We just can't keep doing that. That's what Mexico wants
for us. By the way, they would love nothing more
than to just treat us as a place where they
can go and grab some quick cash and send it
home to Mexico, which is a poor craphole country.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
It's a poor craphole country because of.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
The government there, because of the fact that they have
allowed themselves to be so corrupted by the cartels. They
have just become a terrible place to live. And you
can't make a lot of money there. The peso is
virtually worthless.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
I was in.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Mexico on my honeymoon recently. A burger there costs like
four hundred pesos. I mean, that's maybe fifteen US dollars.
But there's your sign for where their economy is. It's
in the dumpster.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
No worries.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
We'll just send all of our people legally or illegally
to the United States. They can make a bunch of
money there and send it home. That means that money
is not contributing to our economy.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
It's not.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
They're using the fact that they have a wealthy neighbor
to make up for the fact that they're a terrible
place to live. That's a bad system. It doesn't work.
This is from the Mexico Daily News. Mexicans in the
US can avoid remittance tax with government phinibuine cards. Shinbaum
says President Claudia Shinbaum. That's the Mexican president on Friday,

(13:25):
promoted a government bank card that can help Mexicans living
in the United States avoid the new remittance tax. Shinbaum
recommends the new services available with the fine Phenibuine bank card,
originally created in twenty twenty four by the federal government's
Financial Institution for Well Being. Brandishing a card for the

(13:45):
cameras during her morning press conference, it's a very simple
way to send remittances electronically and avoid making cash transfers,
Shinbaum said, Okay, I am of the opinion if you're
going to come to the United States and try to
make a bunch of money here and send it home,
that money should.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
At least be taxed.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Right, you're essentially using the United States as an economic
development zone.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
That is not what we are. We are not your
piggy bank.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Let me liken this to Let's say you have a
really nice house, right, you worked very hard over a
long period of.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Time, over a very long hard career.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
You made yourself a decent chunk of change, and you've
got a nice house and you're living well because you
worked hard for it. And you've got this neighbor that
is constantly coming up to your front door and begging
you for money, and if you don't give it to them,
they'll sometimes break into your house and try to steal it.
That's essentially the relationship between the United States and Mexico

(14:46):
right now. It's disgusting. It shouldn't be allowed. Why are
we tolerating this. We are not Mexico's piggy bank. But
that's what they want, less fortunate countries to take advantage
of more fortunate countries. I didn't say fortunate. It's not
like we just lucked out. Over the last two hundred
and fifty years, give or take a year, Americans have

(15:09):
worked very hard to build a global superpower from quite
literally nothing. We took a land that was inhabited by
savage cannibals, because that's what was happening in the United
States beforehand.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Hate me for saying it.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
That's what was going on, discussing human sacrifices, savage ritualistic
paganism that was doing nothing but constantly facilitating tribal warfare.
And we took that land, and we built the most
powerful nation in the history of the world. And now
a bunch of people that didn't do that because they're
too busy manufacturing and selling crack to each other. Now

(15:47):
want to use us as an economic zone. I reject
that outright.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
No. The answer is no. We should be putting a
stop to that. We should be now again.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I am a big believer in bringing in people that
want to become Americans in every sense of the word.
If you're looking at Mexico and you say, Okay, this
doesn't represent who I am, this doesn't represent my values,
I reject this country entirely. And you want to pick
up and you want to come to the United States,
and you want to work hard, you want to assimilate

(16:17):
to our culture. You want to say, no, I reject Mexico.
I am becoming an American. I welcome that, but we
have a process for that. We have to make sure
you're sincere. We have to make sure you actually want
to come to America and become an American. We want
to make sure you want to represent and support our values,

(16:39):
contribute to our economy, our businesses, not use us to
make a few quick bucks and then send it home
to your country that's chronically mismanaged. The left will try
to tell you that you're a radical or a racist
for saying this, and you're not.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
This has nothing to do with race.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
This has everything to do with the fact that my
ancestors worked hard to build a country that is amazing.
I want to keep it that way. That is my
responsibility as an American. There's nothing wrong with that, and
I'm more than happy to have other people kind of
join in and become part of that story from other
parts of the world.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
But you have to become part.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Of that story, not try to slide another book that
makes no sense to be there in between the chapters.
That's not how this works. That's not how any of
this works. It never has been and it never will be.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Again.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
You can help people, you can support people. Charity is
a good thing. Wanting people to be able to build
a better life is a good thing. But you can't
do that at the expense of your own people, your
own country. That's suicide. That's what that is. It's cultural
and national suicide. We have to speak out against it.
It's a bad thing, no matter how much they try

(17:52):
to convince you it's a good thing.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
All right, say too. We've got a lot more coming up.
We will be right back.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
All ready. We're back on FSCA. Let's go, let's knock
it out. Let's start by setting the stage. Everybody knows
where we've been over the last couple of weeks on
this issue. So the Department of Justice has said, hey,
never mind, we actually don't have anything else on Jeffrey
Epstein case closed, don't worry about it. We're shutting the books,

(18:37):
and everybody lost their mind as they should. As they should,
and I will say, the speaking out has worked, So
keep doing it, keep doing it, keep posting about it,
keep asking questions, keep talking about it, keep demanding the truth,
because we've been able to actually gain some ground on
this issue. So what ended up happening, To make a

(18:57):
very long story short, the Department of Justice went to
a federal judge and said, okay, listen, we want all
of the grand jury testimony about Jeffrey Epstein that led
to charges being filed against him.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
We want all of that unsealed.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
It's been sealed and completely impossible to look at since
twenty nineteen. Now, obviously there's stuff in there that could
probably implicate some people.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Right, I think it's.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Fair to say at this point there's no formal Epstein
client list, Right, I think that's probably true. The chances
that he was just going down and saying I charge
so and so fifteen thousand dollars to have sex with
X minor that probably didn't exist, almost definitely didn't. But

(19:44):
there's definitely evidence and data and testimony that can implicate people.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
So we probably don't have a formal list.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
That doesn't mean we don't know who the Epstein clients were,
and that grand jury testimony will probably be one of
the big keys to this puzzle. The federal judge has
said no. They said, hey, can we open these on
seal these records? The judge said no. So now officially
your problem should no longer be with the Trump administration.

(20:15):
You can be mad about the Trump administration handling this
issue wrong, which is obviously true. They obviously did, and
they should be chastised for that. However, if you're really
pissed off that you still don't have the Epstein records, your.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Issue is no longer with Trump.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
It's officially with this judge. Okay, let's make sure we
sign blame properly. Let's be fair and reasonable. That's important.
Your issue is now with this judge. Be out at
Trump for his handling. That's justifiable. Your problem is with
the judge, all right, Now that that's out of the way,
So the next strategy that the federal administration is taking,

(20:52):
and credit to them, they didn't just wash their hands
off and say, oh, Judge said no, sorry, kay's close.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Guess it's over.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
They're now going to their avenues to try to get
the information out and public that they need in order
to start prosecuting these people. Maybe not public, but to
prosecute these people. Applaud them for that. That's worth it.
Their handling of this was wrong, you spoke out. They're
now changing tack and addressing it. Praise where praise is deserved.

(21:19):
Here it's deserved. So the new strategy is going to
or Gishlane Maxwell or Glaine Maxwell or however you pronounced
her name.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
I don't know how it was pronounced.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Who is or was Jeffrey Epstein's kind of right hand woman,
like longtime mistress allegedly or what have you. I don't
know what she's been convicted of specifically, so I'll say
allegedly so I don't get sued.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
So she's still alive for now.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
I did see a post earlier on x that said
a rest in peace Gishline Maxwell, nineteen sixty one to
next week or so.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
That kind of gave me a little bit of a chuckle.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
But as of right now, she's still alive, and it
looks like she's willing to talk, which is good. If
she'll talk, if she'll roll on some people, go for it.
If we can get her to out some folks, that
is a good idea. So the DOJ has now been
having meetings with her. They want to talk to her,
and they want to see what she's willing to say.

(22:17):
And apparently she's willing to roll on everybody. She has
no problems. Evidently she was obviously granted limited immunity and whatnot,
and she's actually had some meetings with the DJ. Now
the Democrats are trying to act like this is a
bad thing. We should tell you everything you want to know.

(22:39):
They keep trying to campaign now on the Epstein issue.
If you want a campaign on the Epstein issue, you
should be in favor of all of this. And I'll
explain why in a minute. So here's what we have
going on. Gishlaine Maxwell has met with the DOJ and
in order to basically incentivize her to to roll on

(23:02):
these potential Epstein clients or what have you, they're saying, Hey,
anything you tell us, we won't use to prosecute you.
This is fairly common in the legal field, as I'm
as far as I'm concerned, I'm no legal expert, but
I'm fairly positive that this happens relatively frequently with criminal prosecutions.

(23:24):
If you've got somebody and you want to get the
big fish, you'll offer incentives to the little fish to
roll on the big fish. That seems to be what's
happening here. Charlie Kirk did reporting on this on Friday. Gishline.
Maxwell provided Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and the DJ
with information of about one hundred people who are linked

(23:46):
to Jeffrey Epstein. David oscar Marcus, Maxwell's attorney said that
she was asked about every possible thing you could imagine everything.
Here's the Fox News report on this. This is Jesse Waters.
He goes into a little bit more detail here about
all of this and everything going on.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Take a listen, carox Fisch Alert.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
Justice Department lawyers visited Gallaine Maxwell in prison for the
second day in a row, and they had a lot
of questions.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Ells.

Speaker 6 (24:15):
They asked about every single every possible thing you could
imagine everything, maybe about one hundred different people. She answered
questions about everybody, and she didn't hold anything back.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
Maxwell was reportedly given limited immunity so she could speak
freely during the meetings with Deputy ag Todd Blanche. Maxwell's
getting chatty because she wants a pardon. Her lawyer claims
to deal with Epstein made with federal prosecutors back in
two thousand and eight should keep her at a prison.

Speaker 6 (24:48):
We're appealing on a very important ground, which is the
government at the time promised her that promised to Jeffrey
Epstein that any potential co conspirators would not be prosecuted,
and so she deserves that that promise. President Trump is
the ultimate deal maker. He knows that a promise made

(25:09):
on behalf of the government should bind the government.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
But Donald Trump says, the thought of a pardon hasn't
even crossed his mind.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Would you consider.

Speaker 5 (25:17):
A pardon or a commutation for Elaine Maxwell?

Speaker 4 (25:20):
If something I have, it's thought about.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
It really is not recommended it I'm allowed to do it,
but it's something I have not thought about.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
So yeah, all of this makes perfect sense. We want
Glaine Maxwell, who has all this information. She does even
if it's just buried in her head. She can testify
about these people, she can answer questions, she can get convictions. Probably,
So that's what the government is trying to do here.
That's that's pretty clear.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
Now. My question to you would.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Be, is giving her maybe a pardon or maybe a
commutation of her sentence, is that worth getting these predators
who actually abused girls on Epstein Island or in connection
with Epstein or wherever. I would make an argument that
maybe getting the people that actually committed these crimes is

(26:11):
worth giving Maxwell a commutation. If you can say, hey,
these big wig child predators, these global elites that were
assaulting children that you helped do, if you can help
us get them in prison, will maybe commute your sentence
or give you a lighter sentence, or help you out
in some form. I think that's Worthwhile other people might disagree,

(26:37):
that's fine, we can have different opinions on that. I'm
more concerned with rooting out the elite billionaires and politicians
and maybe royals if they're involved in this across the ocean,
the elite people that were abusing these children, getting them

(26:57):
out of public.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Life and is my top priority in this issue.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
So I'm willing to make some trade offs and concessions
because whether we like it or not, that is how
the legal system works. The Democrats are losing their mind
that this is even being talked about, which tells you
they're not sincere when they tried a campaign on the
Epstein issue, because if they were sincere, they would also
be saying, yes, we need to figure out who the
people that were abusing these children are and if we
can make some deals to make that happen, then okay.

(27:26):
Call to Activism, which is a left wing activist account
on x, tweeted out.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Major breaking news. Glaine Maxwell was.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Granted limited in bold immunity by the DOJ. During her
meetings with the Department of Justice. Maxwell answered questions for
about nine hours over two days. The Trump administration gave
immunity to a child predator. Never forget it, okay again,
this is how these things work. Here's the video they
shoot it along with this, including a clip of Chuck

(27:55):
Schumer losing his mind about this.

Speaker 6 (27:57):
Answered all the questions truthfully, honestly, and to the best
of her ability.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
There is every reason to fear that Donald Trump could
offer Gislaine Maxwell a pardon in exchange for silence or
even worse.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Now again, whether or not this is good or bad
depends entirely on what your priorities are in this case.
If your priorities are burying everything that we don't already
know and then campaigning on the issue, then.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
What Donald Trump did is terrible. If your priorities are actually.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Get to the rich elites that abused children, then what
Donald Trump is doing is good. So take a step back,
figure out what your own priorities are, and then come
back to me. I for one, think this is a
good idea. This is progress, and we should continue to
push for more publicly, openly. Do not back down on
this issue. We are making progress, believe it or not.

(28:53):
All right, we got one more segment coming up.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Stay tuned. We will be right back.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
All right, Let's round things out by talking about the
Texas legislature at underscore Ethan Buchanan on X. If you're
listening to my voice right now, you should be following
me on X.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
So let's dig into it.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Redistricting. That's the big push from the GOP right now.
We want to basically do away with the majority minority
districts that have been drawn across the United States, the
Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has said these are illegal,
these are bad. Districts should be drawn based on political concerns,
not based on skin color, and so essentially, the GOP

(29:50):
position here is, hey, black and brown people should be
allowed to live in white districts. We shouldn't segregate political
districts based on race. That seems to be a pretty
reasonable position. The Democrats are losing their mind over it.
I don't know why. I don't know why. It's gonna

(30:12):
age terribly. That's one thing that's for sure. Every single
Republican should start campaigning right now on Hey, why don't
you guys ask the Democrats why they were campaigning for
racially segregated congressional districts. Force the Democrats to be honest
about this issue, because that's what they are doing. They're saying, Hey,
districts like Texas District eighteen, which is drawn specifically to

(30:37):
just grab all the black and brown people in the
Houston area and toss them into one congressional district.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
That's bad.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
We should just let those people be in whatever district
is in their area. Go look at a map of
Texas House District eighteen and tell me it makes sense.
You've got people on the very far north side of
Houston lumped into the same district as people on the
very far south side of Houston just because they happen
to be the same color. Chances are they do not

(31:06):
share a lot of the same political interests, but they're
in the same district because they're the same color.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
That doesn't make sense.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
It's bad. We shouldn't do that. The Democrats are now
going all in on this issue. They're losing their mind.
They're even getting themselves thrown out of congressional hearings about this.
The Texas State Legislature is obviously having hearings about this.
We want community feedback in our legislation process. That's a
good thing. But there are rules for that. When you

(31:34):
go and you testify before the Texas Congress, and I
know because I've done it, I'm speaking from experience, you
have an allotted amount of time. You can speak for
this long and then when you're done, you have to
get up and leave.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Those are the rules.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
When your timer expires, unless they give you extra time,
or they ask you a couple of questions, or for
whatever reason, the legislators ask you to speak for longer.
You have to get up and you have to leave.
Those are the rules, whether you like it or not.
We don't make exceptions. So if you start speaking over
people and not respecting the fact that your time has expired,

(32:10):
you will get dragged out of the hearing by the
sergeant at arms.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
That is a good thing.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
We need to have decorum and an actual system for
our legislative process. Isaiah Martin is a candidate, I believe,
for Texas House District eighteen, and he's speaking out about
all of this. He doesn't want the district to be redrawn.
I don't know why. I don't know why. He supports

(32:37):
racially segregated legislative districts congressional districts. That's weird to me,
but that's what he supports. And he was speaking out
against redistricting in a House hearing and he went over
his time, and so they drug him out of the
room because that's what happens.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
And this is where the vig starts, with.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Him yelling at everybody as the officials pick him up
and physically carry him out of the room.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Take a listen.

Speaker 6 (33:10):
For what you have done, then will not as a
matter of fact, Jess.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Might not learn for you at all.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
That's where they start kind of grabbing him and trying
to get him out. He's resisting them and yelling, you're
having to drag him. He goes limp right there. They
fall down on top of him.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
Get off of him, Get off of him. It's horrific
for what you have done, he says in this video.
He posted this video by himself.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
He said Isaiah has been dragged to the ground and
arrested inside the Texas State Capitol for speaking out against
Greg Abbott and Donald Trump's illegal jay remandering. Okay, jerry mandering,
whether you like it or not, is completely legal. Cry
about it. We're waiting for more information as it develops.
This was, I believe on Friday, so it's a couple
of days old. Now he's out of jail. By the way,

(33:59):
now he's saying, oh, he was dragged to the ground
and arrested. No, he went limp and fell to the
ground himself. It's obvious in the video. He wasn't dragged
to the ground. He went limp because he didn't want
to leave the room, which he has to do. He
kept talking past his time. His time expired and they

(34:20):
had to start physically pushing him out of the room
because he refused to stop yelling at the legislators. You're
not allowed to do that. Somebody actually pointed this out
on X. I believe she was in the room. This
is jen Rice on X. I feel I must know
for context that many people spoke out forcefully against Republicans

(34:41):
at this hearing, but they weren't removed, and that's because
they finished speaking when their allotted time was up. He's
going to try to run on this until next year
when the elections are actually held. This is his new
claim to fame. Don't let that happen. Call this guy out.
He's he still.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Doesn't get it.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
By the way, the moment he got released from jail,
he tried to play the victim complex game. They threw
me in jail because I had the audacity to speak up. No,
they threw you in jail because you wouldn't shut the
hell up. Take a listen to this.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
Guy, all right, I just got to jail, and I
can't thank you guys enough for all of the support
you guys have given me. It seriously means a lot.
It was an interesting experience, to say the least. But
here's what I will say. The Republican Party threw me
in jail because I refuse to sit idly by as
they seek to redistrict our state and try to destroy
our economy, and they think that we're not gonna say
anything about it. They did this because I had the
audacity to speak up. And you know what, I'm going

(35:36):
to continue to have that audacity because strongly what the
letters won't get us out of this mess. It takes
speaking truth to power, no matter what the consequences are.
I got a lot more to say. I'm gonna get
on the road tonight. Be back in Houston tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
All right.

Speaker 2 (35:48):
Yeah, all the charges were dropped against him, by the way,
So this guy is in no way a victim. He
made a fool of himself in front of the legislature,
they drug him out of the room, toss him in
jail for a night.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Case closed.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
But he truly does want to be Sheila Jackson Lee's successor.
He's running for her seat, and he's doing it by
making a fool out of himself and then campaigning off
the attention that he gets because of it. That's exactly
what Sheila Jackson Lee did the entire time she was
in Congress. The other tactic the left is taking to
try to block this predictorous thing is I'm not kidding you.

Speaker 3 (36:21):
Sylvester Turner died, so we can't redistrict. That's the argument.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Jeremy Wallace. I don't know who exactly this guy is. Oh,
here he is. He's a political reporter for the Houston Chronicle.
That explains it. He tweeted out a picture of Sylvester Turner.
If you don't remember, Sylvester Turner was the mayor of Houston.
He replaced Sheila Jackson Lee after she died in office,
and then he died in office, and right now the

(36:47):
seat is vacant. He was also a member of the
Texas Legislature for some time. Jeremy Wallace tweeted out a
picture of Sylvester Turner lying in state on the floor
of the Texas House while Speaker Dustin Burrows yuloja him
and said, look carefully at this photo. That casket has
the body of US Rep. Sylvester Turner, who died in
March and was being eulogized by the Texas House Speaker

(37:09):
Dustin Burroughs. Four months later, Burroughs and others in the
Texas legislature are being asked to carve up his old
congressional district from almost the exact same spot. Matt Rinaldi,
who is the I believe, former chairman of the Texas
Republican Party, he called this out as being completely ridiculous.
New journalist's rule. You can't change the district lines of

(37:29):
anyone who dies, which is the argument here. How dare
you redistrict Sylvester Turner's district after he's dead?

Speaker 3 (37:38):
This is disgusting.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
Why why is it a bad thing to eliminate race
based districts, literal racial discrimination, just because the black guy
who formally held the seat is dead again, there's no
reasonable argument against this redistricts redistricting?

Speaker 6 (38:00):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (38:01):
Democrats keep trying to say this is terrible. Ask them
why why is this terrible? Because the Republicans will get
five more seats? Texas is a Republican state anyway. What
they're actually saying here is no, don't end our racial discrimination,
because then we'll lose power. That's how Democrats hold power
in the state of Texas. Legitimate racial discrimination. That's what

(38:24):
they're speaking out about. How is this a winning issue
for them? It doesn't make any sense. We should eliminate
these districts. They're ridiculous, They make no sense. If you
look at them on a map, they look silly because
they are Racial discrimination on a political level like this
is completely silly and unjustifiable, and yet that's the stand

(38:44):
the Democrats are taking.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
Go for it.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Let me see how it works out for you. Knock
yourselves out, all right, listen, I am Ethan Buchanan. This
is the next Gen Report. We'll be back on Wednesday
with a podcast, and of course I'm on X at
Underscore Ethan Buchanan. Check me out there. Thank you very
much for listening.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Have a good weekend.
