Speaker 1 (00:02):
From the heart of the Space City to the heart
of gen Z. Welcome back to Next Gen Conversation, not
Dad's Talk Radio. Ethan talks to you about the issues
and events that mat are to our generation. This is
the Next Gen Reports with Ethan Buchanan.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Hey, everybody, good Sunday evening to you. Pleasure to be
back with you. Thank you for tuning in or for
clicking on the video wherever you're watching or listening. If
you're watching, Hey, if you're listening, stay tuned. Probably sometime
tomorrow the live recording of this will be available on

(00:42):
YouTube or x or wherever. Just search Ethan Buchanan on
YouTube or at underscore Ethan Buchanan on x and you'll
find me.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I'm there.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, we got a lot to talk about today. It
has been a busy week. I want to start though,
by really just blasting the Left for being hopeless, degenerate,
sick losers, because that's.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
What they are. That really is what they are.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Nothing has made that clearer to me than watching Erica
Kirk's appearance on Charlie Kirk's show.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
I want to preface this entire conversation with this.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Erica Kirk is probably in one of the most difficult
positions that a.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Wife and mother can ever ever ever be in.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
She has to somehow raise these two children without their father,
while at the same time, and again she deserves all
the respect in the world.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
For this.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Still carrying on their father's legacy, which is clearly what
Charlie wanted.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I mean, this has been talked about before.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Charlie Kirk made it clear if something happens to me,
I want this to continue, and I want Erica to
be the one to continue it.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
So hats to her.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
For facing this immense tragedy and saying, you know what,
I am going to continue it because that is what
my husband wanted from me.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
That is what he asked of me.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
And I really do think that she's doing this more
than anything as a service to him, and I think
that's very admirable. And at the same time, she's raising
her two children, which is no small tasket and of itself.
But all that to say, she did an appearance on
Charlie Kirk's show, which has continued in his absence, host

(02:34):
primarily by his main producer Andrew Corvette, and they've had
kind of a rotating cast of folks come in to
just talk about Charlie and his legacy in Ladie Do Dao.
Of the last several days since he was assassinated. I
think it's almost coming up on a three weeks, nearly
a full month since he was assassinated. But they've been

(02:55):
continuing his show and she made an appearance on it
this week, and the reaction that we have seen I
think is the.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Most baffling part of all of this.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Take a look at this Who acts like this two
weeks after the assassination of your husband and father of
your children. Not to be an asshole, but something is
seriously off about Erica Kirk. Okay, this is just a
picture in the screenshot of her smiling, So what's the
implication here? If you're listening and not watching right now,

(03:32):
It's just a picture of Erica Kirk sitting on the
set of this show in front of a microphone, and
she's smiling.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
She's just got a big old grin. I don't know
what exact.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Moment this screenshot was taken in, but she's clearly a
at least decent mood. I feel like we should be
praising this, not blasting her for it. I mean, she's
dealing with the most difficult thing a person can deal
with the loss of a close loved one, the loss
of a spouse, And the attitude from the left is

(04:05):
how dares she find a single moment of joy? For context,
these are people that are her friends that she's doing
this show with. These are people that all knew Charlie
Kirk very closely. They all had a deep friendship with
each other, and so why wouldn't they on this podcast
have a moment of laughter of joy they are friends.

(04:28):
Is she not allowed to have a single moment of
joy in the midst of tragedy? Is that the argument?
That's what it seems to be from the left. I mean,
look at her face there. This is clearly somebody who's
just having a decent time, and she should be allowed
to have a decent time. She should be allowed to

(04:49):
go on her husband's show to talk about his legacy
and how they're going to be working to preserve it,
and then talking about fond memories that she has of
her husband with some of their friends and not be
blasted for that.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
But that's what the left is doing. Here's another example
of this.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
It's been sixteen days since her husband and the father
to her children was assassinated in front.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Of the world.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
This is very disturbing, and it's just a compilation of
pictures of her smiling. Here's a picture of her with
Trump where she's clearly in tears in this picture, by
the way, this is from the Charlie Kirk funeral. It's
her hugging President Trump and throwing up the I Love

(05:34):
you asl hand sign. And she's clearly breaking down in
tears in this photo.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
And the left is going.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
On and on and on about how terrible this is.
I just don't understand this. What does the left want here?
And I'll answer that question. The left wants you to
be depressed. They want her to be depressed. They are
baffled that someone like Erica Kirk is able to find
a moment of joy, and they hate her for it.

(06:05):
I had this conversation with state Representative brisk Cocaine. He's
been on the show, he's a friend. It's like they're
demanding she grieve in front of them. The ability to
find joy in this moment is uniquely Christian.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
He's right.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
One could go so far as to say it's the
symbol of a believer with a true understanding of the
Christ's Gospel, and he's exactly right. It is Erica Kirk
is able to find these moments of joy in the
face of immense, unimaginable tragedy because she understands, I will
be with my husband again.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
This is not the last time I see Charlie.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Eventually I will die too, and then we will be
together again, and she can look forward to that and
have joy in that. She can also acknowledge the fact
that Charlie Kirk is with his Lord and Savior, which
is where he wanted to be more than anywhere else,
and she can be happy for him for that. Obviously,
we grieve the loss of loved ones, but as the
Bible said, we do not grieve as though with no hope.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
This is the face of a woman who clearly has hope.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
She has hope for the future, she has hope for
her husband's legacy. She has again unimaginable strength, because regardless
of how much hope you have, putting on this brave
face and being this kind of figurehead for both her
family and her husband's legacy can't possibly be easy. But again,

(07:27):
the Left is absolutely infuriated about this. They hate the
fact that what they intended for evil. God is clearly
using for good and that's clearly the case, and they
despise it.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
They do because they're evil. They frankly are evil.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
All Right, we got a great show coming up, a
lot to talk about. Kir Starmer in England has been busy,
Ice has been busy. We're gonna dig into all of
that coming up, so stay tuned. We'll be right back
with more than Next Gen Reporter.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
I never get tired of that song.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
If you've been listening for a while, you know that
used to be my main intro to my first segment.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
I love that song. It's just it's so catchy. It's good.
All right, Hey, welcome back to the Next Gen Report.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I am Ethan Buchanan at Underscore Ethan Buchanan on x
Go give me a follow there.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
We got to talk about England again.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
If you listen to the Wednesday podcast, you can pick
that up wherever you get podcasts. If you don't the
Next Gen Report, just give it a search. It'll pop up.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
It's on YouTube too. We talked about.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
England and their knife crime and actor Interest Elbow's great
solution to that on Wednesday, and I promise I'm not
trying to just make this a show about the UK,
but once again I find myself having to talk about
the ridiculous crap that they're.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Doing in the freaking UK.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
It's like every single day they find some new way
to make me more happy that I'm an American, and
it's like the entire continent of Europe is in this
running gun battle to see who can lose my respect

(09:36):
the fastest, and the United Kingdom is by far and
away winning. It's not even particularly close. And I'll give
kir Starmer credit for that. If that's your goal. If
you're sitting in your office, kre Starmer every single.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Day thinking, oh my god, how can I aggravate Ethan
Buchanan over in Texas today? You've You've nailed it, buddy. You.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I don't know if you've got some sort of inside
goop into how my brain works or what, but it's like,
these are these things that they're doing are are tailored
specifically to piss me off, and it's working. So their
latest idea, because now all of a sudden, even the
leftists in the UK have acknowledged the fact that they
have an immigration problem. So rather than say, hey, let's

(10:24):
deport all the people that aren't supposed to be here
and stop jailing British people for complaining about being raped
by third worlderers. Their idea is we're just going to
track everything you do online and we're gonna pitch that
to you as some sort of immigration crackdown.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
I'm not kidding, that's what they're doing. Here is Keir Starmer.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Announcing their new digital ID card, which is unbelievably Orwellian,
and he's saying this is gonna this is gonna solve
the immigration problem because you won't be able to work
without these digital ID cards. How I don't know how
he gets there, but here he is doing his best

(11:06):
to get there.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Take a listen to this absolute buffoon.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
And that is why today I am announcing this government
will make a new free of charge digital ID mandatory
for the right to work. By the end of this Parliament,
we spell that out. You will not be able to
work in the United Kingdom if you do not have
digital ID. It's as simple as that. Because decent, pragmatic,

(11:36):
fair minded people, they want us to tackle the issues
that they see around them. And of course the truth
is we won't solve our problems if we don't also
take on the root causes looking upstream to tackle poverty conflict.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
All right.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Now, I may be a rat right winger, but I
feel like the most pragmatic upstream solution to deal with
all these issues.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Is just deport these people.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Maybe that's because I'm crazy, but I feel like it's
probably not. Now I will say Naim Bukele, who's the
president of El Salvador, and I love him very much.
I mean, I always said if I wasn't living in Texas,
I'd probably want to live in Tennessee. At this point,
if I wasn't living in Texas, I might just say
screw it and go live in El Salvador because their
president is amazing.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
I love him, and he called.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
This out for what it is, and I gotta be honest,
I think your stronger might be the Antichrist because of what.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Nai Bukeley said here.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
He quoted I believe revelation, and he causeth all both
small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to
receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads,
and no man might buy or sell save that he
had that mark, and the name of the beast or
the number of his name. So this is talking, this
is quoting revelation talking about the end times and the
mark of the Beast. And I gotta say the parallel

(13:06):
is pretty it's pretty on point.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Naib, you kind of nailed it. You are not going
to be allowed to work in the UK unless you
have this digital ID that lets us track all of
the everything you do online. Here's why this is scary.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
England has already very proudly set the precedent of if
you say something the government doesn't like online, we will.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Throw you in jail.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Now Here in America, say what you will, but you
will not have the government throwing you in prison for
just saying things along the lines of hey, I think
Britain should be for British people, which is a radical,
crazy right wing thing to say.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
I know, and here you're allowed to say that.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
You can go online and say I think America should
be for Americans. I think we should have standards for
who we let become Americans. That's allowed. I don't think
we should give in to Islam in this country because
it's gonna tear us apart.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
You're allowed to say that here in the United States.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
All of those things will get you thrown in prison
in the UK and I'm not even slightly kidding. And
now the government wants to track you online for the
right to work.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
That's horrifying.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Again, he's pitching this as this is how we crack
down on immigration. I know you're worried about the level
of illegal immigration into this country. Digital idea is another
means to make it tougher to work illegally here, making
our borders more secure.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Ours is a fair Britain built on change, not division. No,
we need to have division.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
We need to have a divide between This is a
British person who belongs in this country and this is not.
There should be a divide there, and that goes for
every single country in the world. We definitely need that
in the United States, thank god we haven't. This is
an American, This is who belongs in America and this
is not. There is a divide there. There should be
a divide there. Thankfully he got community noted. UK law

(15:03):
already requires all employees to give proof of a right
to work to employers. So this is outright just a
lie he's trying to pitch to you here. I mean,
at best, this is redundant and at worse, it's nineteen
eighty four. Actually, at best it's redundant. At close to worse,

(15:24):
it's nineteen eighty four, and at actual worst, this man
is the freaking Antichrist.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
In case I need.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
To specify, I'm not being serious. This is a joke mostly,
but the parallels between kir Stromer and the Antichrist are fascinating.
Here he is again, just in case you didn't believe me,
Here he is saying, oh, yes, no, this is just
how we solve the illegal working problem.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
For too many years, it's been too easy for people
to come here, slip into the shadow economy, and remain
here illegally, because frankly, we've been squeamish about saying things
that are clearly true.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Maybe that's because you throw people in jail for saying
things that are completely true.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Maybe that's why we've been screamish here it's ridiculous. I mean,
his whole pitch here, this is how we keep people
out of the shadow economy.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
How what exactly is stopping a Somalian from pulling up
on a rowboat to the shores of England and then
getting a cash under the table job doing God only
knows what That's one of the big problems we have
here in the United States is illegal aliens would just
do under the table cash work and then they'll send

(16:44):
some of that money home to their families in money,
naughty out, whatever. But there's really no way to crack
down on that other than just deport them.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
That's how that's the most pragmatic means.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
You find these people and say, hey, you're not supposed
to be in this country, you're under a and we're
sending you back where you came from. If you want
to be pragmatic, that's how you be pragmatic. He doesn't
want to be pragmatic.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
He wants to control you. The UK government wants totalitarian
control over their citizens.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
And it's not just the UK government, by the way,
that's just the left.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
That's what the left wants. They believe government is god.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Everyone should submit to their false god of government. That's
the entire left. That's what they're all about, even here
in the left in America. If you think American leftists
wouldn't be doing this the moment they got an opportunity,
you're wrong. That's why it's so important to pay attention
to things like this. We have to look at this
and call this out as being radical and insane, because

(17:45):
if we let it fly there, if we don't call
it out and say hey, that's wrong, they we'll try
to do it here.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
I guarantee it.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
All right, We're gonna talk about Ice rays coming up
in just a minute, so stay tuned.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
You don't want to miss out on this. All right.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
I have to issue a little bit of a disclaimer
here so the FCC doesn't get me. I'm going to
do my best to censor all of the F bombs
in the protest footage that I am going to show you. However,
I can make no promises. Some might slip through. I

(18:37):
apologize in advance. I'm doing my best. Please don't call
the FCC on me. It's not on purpose. All right, Okay,
all right, now we all understand each other. We got
to talk about this ongoing situation with Ice. It keeps
getting worse, and again it's starting to feel almost to

(18:58):
me like the left wants it to get worse. That's
what they're after, and it makes sense. I'm not trying
to be a conspiracy theorist, but if you're the left,
you want the chaos you do, you want the chaos.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
So you can then point to Donald Trump and say,
look at all this chaos.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Don't you just wish we could get back to normalcy,
Folk Democrat, We'll get back to normalcy. Does that sound familiar.
It's because that's what they did in twenty twenty. They
manufactured chaos, primarily with like George Floyd, and then COVID
didn't help, and then they pinned that chaos that they

(19:39):
manufactured on Donald Trump and said, if you vote for them,
we'll just get back to normalcy.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
And then it worked. People voted for them.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
We got Joe Biden, and then he wrecked the country,
and then everybody turned around and said, wait.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
A minute, that y'all did the chaos. You're still doing
the chaos right now.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
You just don't want want us to look at it
or talk about it, but it's still going on. And
then we got Trump back. Because of that, it's repeating itself.
The pattern is repeating itself very intentionally. I think they're
manufacturing this chaos specifically around Ice because they don't have
another George Floyd. And now we all know that George

(20:19):
Floyd was actually kind of a terrible human being who
just overdosed rather than being murdered by a police officer,
and so they don't have a George Floyd figure to
rally around and create chaos for, so they grow to
the next best thing.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Now they're creating chaos on behalf of the illegal aliens.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
So I'm gonna show you Chicago, Illinois has become kind
of the centerpoint of this and to a lesser except
Portland because it's always freaking Portland. So I'm just gonna
kind of show you how things have sort of graduated
and elevated to more and more and more chaotic for starters.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I don't know what this is.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
I don't know if this is some weird Native American
Indian ritual. I don't know if these people are just
weird and being goofy.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
I just don't know.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
But here are these folks doing some sort of pagan
rain dance outside of an ice facility in Chicago. Take
take a listen or watch if you're watching, pounding on
the drum doing the little dances. They've got some sort

(21:35):
of sage or something smoking. Again, I don't know what
this is. It looks Indian. It looks like these are Indian.
It's it's pagan ritualistic nonsense. Really, it's it's performative. And
you know what, if this was all it was, I

(21:55):
wouldn't even be that mad about it. If it was
just this, I would say, Okay, fine, these peop people
were crazy.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
We knew that.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
That's nothing new. The left has been crazy for a
long time. So them, you know, doing rain dances in
front of an ice facility. Who cares. Here's the problem.
It doesn't stop there, believe it or not. That's the normalcy.
That's the closest they get to normal. Here is some

(22:23):
footage of what they're calling a protest. It's obviously just
obstruction of justice, bordering on riots. This is criminal activity
going on. This is the same ice facility in Chicago, Illinois.
Hulio Rosas, I believe he's on the ground for Blaze
Media filming these things.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
So shout out Julio Rosas.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
And again I'm saying it again so that you Karen's
listening to AM radio, don't go call the station or
the FCC. I am not trying to broadcast an F bomb.
I am going to do my best to censor the
F bomb. But this is a crowd. There are people
shouting and screaming. The SEC does provide for that. I

(23:01):
read the guidelines. Okay, if one slips through, that's allowed.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
All right. Here is a bunch of protesters this This.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Is an ICE vehicle trying to leave the facility and
they're just blocking the road. The ICE vehicle has to
just slowly keep going, forcing them back, and all the
while they're pounding on this vehicle trying to block it
and sneering and jeering.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Take take a take a look at.

Speaker 5 (23:25):
This straight straight.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
So yeah, they're they're pounding on this vehicle, they're chanting,
they won't let it go. It just has to slowly
keep driving down the road. You're not allowed to do that,
I can't. This is obstruction of justice at the very
very least. But it gets even worse from there. Again,
these people know no bounds. All they can do is

(24:11):
make things worse. Here they are escalated again to the
point of the ICE agents had to start shooting pepper
balls and pepper spraying these people just to get this
vehicle through the crowd.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
And there goes, there goes the car.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
They finally start scattering after they get pepper spray. Good,
that's funny. Here's a picture if this is another reason.
If you're listening on the radio on Monday, go to
my x feed. We'll have this uploaded, the whole recording.
You can see it. Here's somebody knocked in the head
with a ball of pepper spread. It's kind of funny.

(25:04):
I like that, all right. Well again, it only gets
worse from there. Like I said, it graduates up and
up and up and up and up. So here is
at the same protest, same ICE facility, here's somebody screaming, hey,
we need to shoot Ice. It's not just protesting, it's
not just block their cars. It's graduating towards we need

(25:27):
to kill these people.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
And then we wonder how Charlie Kirk got shot.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
Here they are openly calling for it.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Shoot the efforts, Shoot the efforts. That's where we're at
right now with Ice. That's what we've gotten to. You
should be worried about this. Do you think this just stops,
You think they don't take action on this. You don't
think there's crazy leftists that will shoot the efforts. One

(26:16):
of them already shot Charlie. One of them tried to
shoot ICE officers here in Dallas. New details immerged in
Dallas Ice shooting This was on Wednesday that this happened.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
If you missed it, I don't know how you missed it. It
was huge news.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
We continue to learn more about yesterday's attack on an
ICE facility in Dallas. The FBI has now identified twenty
nine year old Joshua Jan as the shooter. FBI Director
Cash Betel announced via x today that they have determined
the shooter with.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
Seeking real terror for ICE agents.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
He says during the process of processing writings written by Jan,
they found a hammer and not that said. Hopefully this
will give ICE agents real terror to think, is there
a sniper with armor piercing rounds on that roof.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
This is the goal of the left now.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
Thankfully no law enforcement was injured in that shooting at
that ICE facility in Dallas, but tragically people were killed.
Illegal aliens actually ended up dying because of this crazy
guy who wanted to shoot ICE officers. He's such a
terrible shot that when he started taking pot shots at
the ICE building, the only people he actually hit were
illegal aliens. This is what we've gotten to. This is

(27:26):
where we're at with the Left. They want to kill
ICE officers, maybe not all of them, but enough of
them to be concerned about. Thankfully, the Trump administration is
taking this seriously. Trump announced on Saturday, at the request
of Secretary of Homeland Security Christinome, I am directing Secretary
of War.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
God I love that title. Yes, this is the Secretary
of War.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
We will wage war on all enemies of this nation,
foreign and domestic.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Praise God.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
I'm directing Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to provide all
necessary troops to protect our war ravaged Portland and any
of our ICE facilities under siege from attack by Antifa
and other domestic terrorists. I am also authorizing full use
of force if necessary.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Thank you for your attention on this matter. This is
where we're at. You did this.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
We are sending the army to protect our ICE agents
because the Left is attacking them openly in the streets,
shooting these people, calling for them to be shot, demanding it,
throwing rocks at them, even shooting at them when they're
doing enforcement actions in California.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
We're not going to stand for this. This is our country.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Illegal aliens will be deported, and if you try to
kill the men and women protecting the sanctity of our borders,
we will fight you too. God blessed President Trump for
actually taking action on this.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
This is the bed you left or you made. Leftists
get ready to lie in it. All right, we'll be
right back. All right, Let's lighten things up a little bit.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Let's talk about Kamala Harris, just because it's fun.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
It's silly.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
She's kind of stupid, so we can just point laugh
at her, just end the show on a more jovial note.
Because let it never be said that I'm all doom
and gloom. I'm a lot of doom and gloom. I'm
a very doomy, gloomy person. But I like to think
of that as just realism. And the realistic situation is
we're kind of in a bad spot nationally, just in

(29:41):
terms of our massive culture divide and rift and the
fact that the LUFT wants to to the.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Country apart and it's kind of working.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
But anyway, all that to the side for a minute,
let's talk about Kamala Harris making full of herself. She
is very, very desperate to maintain relevancy. She does not
want to be relegated to the ash heap of history,
which is filled with a million other people who also
didn't quite win an important office.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
That's where she's had it right now. She doesn't want
to go there.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
She doesn't want to be just another Tim Kaine, another
Hillary Clinton, you know, any other number of failed presidential
or vice presidential candidates that nobody actually cares about. So,
in an effort to maintain her relevancy, she has written
this book. Now, this may have killed her entire political career.

(30:34):
I'm gonna be honest. She may have made things even
worse because this book is horrible, and the press tour
that she's going on to promote the book is horrible.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
She's not doing.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Herself any favors by doing any of this, but she's
doing all of it, and she's doing all of it
one hundred percent.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
So let's let's dig into this a little bit.

Speaker 7 (30:56):
First.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
I want to I want to show you an excerpt
from the book, just to give you an idea of
how god awful this book is.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
This is actually in the book. This is a quote
from the book. I wish I could have.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Gotten the message across that there isn't a distinction between they,
them and you. The pronoun that matters is.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
We, we the people, and that's who I'm for.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
What?

Speaker 2 (31:32):
And this is why I don't think that she used
a ghost writer, because this is exactly the type of
cornball garbage that she was feeding voters on the campaign trail.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
It's about we we together, the people, and I am
for you, they them and love and we the people together.
Shut up.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
It's so stupid, it's so stupid. Words can't describe how
stupid this is. But that's her book. She put that
in the book. Nobody made her put that in the book.
She didn't have to. She put that in the book.
And by the way, krep like that is exactly why
Ted Cruzi is in the Senate right now, because remember

(32:19):
a big slogan during Ted Kruz Ted Cruzi's campaign against
Colin Allred was Colin alright is for they then, but
I am for you?

Speaker 3 (32:27):
And it was good line.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
And this is kind of like the opposite of that,
like the exact polar opposite of that. And she actually
wrote that and put that in her book and nobody
stopped her.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
That's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
She's also gotten herself in trouble for not exactly going
after Pete Boudajees, but kind of going after Pete Boudhajees.
She admitted something that we had all kind of known
that Pete Boudajes was one of her go to candidates
for vice president, but she ended up going with Tim Walls.

(33:03):
And the reason she went with Tim Walls instead of
Pete Boudages, who was the Secretary of Transportation, he's gay,
by the way.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
That's why he's important. That's it. That's the whole reason
he's important. It's because he's gay.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
So she accidentally admitted in this book that the reason
she didn't pick him was because he's gay.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
I'm not kidding.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
She literally said that. Here's from The Atlantic, quoting the book.
Budajet quote would have been an ideal partner if I
were a straight white man. I don't understand how that
factors in here. We were already asking a lot of
America to accept a woman, a black woman, a black
woman married.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
To a Jewish man.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Part of me wanted to say, screw it, let's just
do it, but knowing what was at stake, it was
too big of a risk.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
So the point she's saying here is.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Because I am a black woman who's also an Indian,
who's also and I'm married to a Jewis, I can't
have Pete Boudages be my VP. It's just too risky,
it's too much diversity.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
I want this.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Amazing diverse presidential ticket, but the American people aren't ready.
It's a way of saying, actually, I'm way holier than you.
And also, I have to discriminate against Pete boudajest because
he's gay.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
That's kind of what she's saying here.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
She didn't think that that far ahead, and so she
didn't realize that that's what she accidentally said until freaking
Rachel Maddow pointed that out Here is Rachel Maddow actually
calling her on this, like, so, what's going on here?
Are you discriminating against Pete boudaches because he's gay? And

(34:48):
by the way, just like any time on the campaign traill,
someone asked her a hard question, she completely collapses here.

Speaker 7 (34:57):
I guess I guess I'd ask him to just elaborate
on that a little bit.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
It's hard to hear with.

Speaker 7 (35:03):
You running as you know, you're the first woman elected
vice president, you're a black woman and a South Asian
woman elected that high office, early elected president to.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
Say that it was not very nearly.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Let me just stop there where if you know the
results of the election by ten o'clock Central time on
election night.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
It's not close.

Speaker 7 (35:23):
He couldn't be on the ticket effectively because he was gay.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
It's hard to hear. No, No, that's not what I said.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
That's exactly what she said. Look, I'll showed you right here. No,
it was what was at stake. It was too big
of a risk. We're already asking a lot of America.
That's exactly what she said.

Speaker 8 (35:41):
That that's that he couldn't be on the ticket because
he is gay. My point, as I write in the book,
is that I was clear that in one hundred and
seven days in one of the most hotly contested elections
for president, and I states against someone like Donald Trump,

(36:03):
who knows no floor.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Oh, it's Trump's fault.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
It's Trump's fault that she didn't pick Pete Boudages for
being gay.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
Because Trump knows no floor. He would have gone after
Pete Boutagege for being gay.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
She says this, But our Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen, who
Trump picked, is also gay. So the idea that oh,
Trump would have just ran wild with this, So we
can't pick him. It's for Pete Boutajege's safety. I don't
buy that to.

Speaker 8 (36:35):
Be a black woman running for president of the United
States and as a vice presidential running mate a gay man,
with the stakes being so high, it made me very sad,
But I also realized it would be a real risk

(36:55):
no matter how you know, I've been an advocate and
an ally of of the LGBT community of my entire life.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
So it wasn't about it.

Speaker 8 (37:03):
It wasn't about it right, So it wasn't about any
any prejudice on my.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Part, but that we.

Speaker 8 (37:10):
Had such a short period of time.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
We just didn't have enough time to convince the American
people to vote for a black Indian woman and also
gay Pete boudachesh That. Plus, Pete boudaches isn't overly popular.
Nobody really likes the guy. He has no personality. He's
not a particularly effective politician, which is why when he

(37:34):
ran for president he got clabbered. All that to the side.
None of this makes any sense. She just did not
defend her point well. She she essentially, like Colin Wright
points out in his comment on this clip, she basically
just denied what she said in her book and then said, no,

(37:55):
here's why I said this.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
In my book. What are you talking about lady. You're
an idiot. You're an idiot.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
She is.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Vice President jad Vance understands this. Here.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
He is basically saying, no, Kamala Harris makes everybody dumber.

Speaker 9 (38:07):
The problem is not that Kamala's campaign was too short.
It's that was too long that when people actually listened
to what she had to say, her polling went down
and down and down. I think that if we had
had one hundred and fifty day campaign, we probably would
have had three additional Republican senators and Donald Trump would
have won by an even bigger landslide. Because the more
people know about Kamala Harris, the more they realize there's
no substance there.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
He's exactly right. There is no substance there. There never
was any substance there. There's never going to be substance there.
Kamala Harris is a fool.

Speaker 1 (38:36):
She is.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
And you know what, go ahead, keep talking Kamala, because
it'll make it easier for us to beat you next
time you run for office. That's all I've got for
you today. Thank you very much for listening. Go follow
