Speaker 1 (00:18):
Already. Hey, Happy Wednesday. Who watched the Super Bowl? I did.
I actually enjoyed it. I'll be honest. That's an unpopular
opinion to have right now, I know, and listen, I
didn't think I would. I'm a Cowboys fan, which means
I hate the Philadelphia Eagles. I'm also a Hustonian, which
means I really hate the city of Philadelphia and the

(00:39):
Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies and every Philadelphia sports
team because their fans are the worst and they had
the audacity to attack Mattress Mac and so I hate Philadelphia,
Philadelphia sports teams and Philadelphia sports fans. I also really
hate the Chiefs because like everyone else that follows the NFL,
I'm sick of their garbage. So I really wasn't expecting

(01:01):
to enjoy the Super Bowl. But nevertheless, I got some
friends together. They all came over, we watched the Super Bowl,
we ate some pizza, We had a good time, and
I actually ended up really rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles
by the end of it, just because I really did
not want the Chiefs to get a three peet again
because they're annoying. Also, it was really good to see

(01:22):
Trump at the super Bowl. That was a nice little touch.
I did not realize that no sitting president had ever
attended the Super Bowl before. Donald Trump is the first
to do that. That surprised me. That seems like the
kind of thing you would go to just because it's cool, right,
But you know, it had never happened before. I imagine
probably because of the security concerns and the difficulties of

(01:44):
pulling that off. But Donald Trump went and it was
really cool. Here was a little bit of what it
sounded like. This is courtesy of Fox Sports and of
course the NFL. Donald Trump in attendance at the NFL
Take a listen us. That would be history.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
History already in the building tonight as President Donald Trump
becomes the first sitting US president ever to attend a
Super Bowl game live.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Now.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Of course Fox Sports posted that video themselves. They shared
that to some goober, some liberal, I don't know who,
this is posted sarcastically keep politics out of sports in
air quotes, and you know they're trying to make the point,
I guess sarcastically that Republicans keep complaining about how sports
professionals are always getting political and taking time out of

(02:29):
their day to you know, post obnoxious left wing political messages,
and this is something that the right wing has complained
about quite a bit. So they're trying to act like
this is the same, and it's not. It's not the
same at all. Donald Trump, what he did was he
showed up, he shook some hands, went down to the
field check things out, shook some hands with some of
the players that wanted to meet him, and then he

(02:51):
went up to his booth, his little box, and he
watched the game. He did not make the Super Bowl
about himself. He did not take the time to get
up and make some big political speech about his particular
partisan priorities. The only things he actually said about the
Super Bowl were, Hey, this is a great opportunity for

(03:15):
us to just come together. This is an American sport,
it's an American tradition. It's great that we're all getting
together and watching this. Overall, it was a very politically
neutral message that he didn't actually interrupt the Super Bowl
to give. He was just there. I think it's important
to point out the reason we don't like celebrities going
out and giving big political messages isn't because we don't

(03:39):
think celebrities should have political opinions or even share political opinions.
The reason people get so upset when celebrities go out
of their way to make their political affiliations and their
political opinions known is because they never keep it to
the right time and place. If Donald Trump had gotten
out and gone to the super Bowl and demand I

(04:00):
added some time on the field to grab a mic
and a camera and share whatever his Republican priorities are,
I would have shamed him for that too, because that's
not the time or the place. He didn't do that.
He was just there to watch the game. You can't
fault a man for that. You have to have hobbies,
you have to have things you can enjoy. He's in

(04:21):
a position where he's able to go to the super Bowl,
which is a difficult event to get into, and so
I'm not going to fault him for taking advantage of
that to enjoy himself. What he didn't do is take
something that has nothing to do with his political ideology
or political goals and make it about his politics. That's
why people are so sick of celebrities getting political or

(04:41):
athletes getting political. It's because they take time out of
their press conferences in their games to share their political messaging.
It's because whatever movie they're making, they'll make it about
their politics. We want to have entertainment and politics, but
that doesn't mean our politicians can't enjoy entertainment, be allowed
to enjoy entertainment. They're regular people too. Donald Trump is

(05:03):
a person. If he wants to go see a super Bowl,
he should be allowed to do that. What's even crazier
is the fact that they're going through all this troubled
to demonize Trump for going to the super Bowl, but
clearly the people that were there in the Super Bowl
wanted him to be there. During the national anthem, they
did the classic sort of montage. You know, you've got

(05:24):
the performer and you have a few different camera angles
of them, and then you've got a couple crowd shots,
and then you throw in a shot of some military
force that's deployed somewhere at some base somewhere. Well, Donald
Trump was there, so obviously they just for a few
brief seconds showed Donald Trump saluting the American flag from

(05:45):
the stands during the national anthem, And that was the
biggest interruption to the game or the event that Donald
Trump took part in, literally just a few seconds of
a montage. But I want you to take a listen
to the crowd just start exploding in cheers. When Donald
Trump is showed on the screen for just like maybe

(06:05):
seven seconds, maybe seven seconds, probably more like six point five.
The crowd goes nuts. Take a listen. That's fine, there's Trump,
and then it's over. That's all the screen time Donald
Trump had. That's way different than a celebrity going out
on a press tour for a movie and making every

(06:27):
single aspect of the movie about their particular political beliefs,
which is what people are so sick of. Again, that's
the problem. We don't mind celebrities having political opinions. What
we hate is when our entertainment gets infected with politics,
because we want those things to be kept separate. Donald
Trump showing up on screen for thirty seconds during the

(06:49):
national anthem as the president of the United States did
not make the Super Bowl political. I thought it made
it pretty patriotic. I liked it. I enjoyed it, and
I think most Americans did. The Fact that people on
the left are going so far out of their way
as to edit booze into cuts of Donald Trump at
the Super Bowl, They've gone as far as to take
that clip and add in boo sound effects. That's pretty pathetic.

(07:12):
But they're trying so hard to villainize Donald Trump for
this just because they have nothing else going on. They
truly have nothing else to do. And Donald Trump is
just here having a good time. He's making America great
again and enjoying the super Bowl. This false equivalency here
that the left is trying to manufacture, it's not gonna work.
The American people are not going to fall for it.
We like our president. We like the fact that he's

(07:32):
having a good time while he gets his work done.
There's nothing wrong with that. All Right, we got a
great show coming up. We will be right back after
a quick break, so stay tuned. All right, Let's talk

(08:15):
about what we've seen on the border in the last
couple of weeks. Trump's been in office for a while now,
He's had quite a few opportunities to get stuff done,
and get stuff done he has. He has been very,
very productive, honestly, way more productive than I thought he
would be able to be in his first you know,
couple of weeks. I thought, as I've said before, that

(08:37):
the type of stuff that Donald Trump has been able
to get done would take him months, if not a
year or two to do, but it hasn't. He's done
it in weeks, which just goes to show you that
Joe Biden could have done this the entire time and
he chose not to, and that I think is the
real scandal. But let's not dwell in the past. The

(08:59):
battle man is gone and Donald Trump is saving us
from the border crisis. And I'm kidding with my terminology,
but I'm being serious about the point. Donald Trump has
made huge progress on the border. Breitbart reported migrant encounters
on the southwest border dropped ninety six percent from last year.
Migrant apprehensions along the southwest border with Mexico fell nearly

(09:20):
ninety six percent last week compared to the average number
of apprehensions in February twenty twenty four. According to data
from the Texas Department of Public Safety, apprehensions over the
previous seven days in the five Texas based border sectors
fell by nearly eighty nine percent from last year. That
is an insane number. That is an insane number. Eighty

(09:44):
nine percent overall, ninety six percent last week across the
entire border. I mean, that's nearly one hundred percent that
is nearly one hundred percent. So the fact that he's
been able to do this in literal weeks without I
remind you any legislation. Remember, we kept getting told that
we needed a border bill. That's why Joe Biden couldn't

(10:06):
secure the border because Donald Trump had broken immigration law
and we didn't have a border bill to fix it.
And we now know they were full of crap the
entire time. We never needed a border bill. It was
never necessary. Donald Trump never had one. He hasn't had one.
I can count the number of major congressional achievements since
Donald Trump took office on zero fingers. We still haven't

(10:27):
had a border bill, and yet apprehensions have fallen by
nearly one hundred percent, so close to one hundred percent.
We're so close, and I truly believe that we will
get there. I think we will now we will get
there in spite of left wing resistance, and they are
resisting this, which makes again no sense to me. You

(10:49):
can make the argument that, oh, you can't secure the
border right now because you need a political win, and
this will give a political win to the enemy. That
is why I could see the Democrats pushing so hard
for some weak border bill and not actually securing the
border when we know full well that they could have.
But you no longer have a majority in the House

(11:09):
or the Senate, and you no longer control the White House.
So why you would still try so hard to keep
the border wide open makes no sense to me. And
they are trying to keep the border wide open. They've
gone as far as to probably commit legitimate crimes in
order to hamper border control. So left wing actors in
bad circles, including right here in Texas, have been going

(11:34):
out of their way to make it as difficult for
law enforcement to secure the border as they can possibly manage.
This is a crazy story that I actually reported on
on Monday, so go back and read that article. The
title is left wing quote unquote resistance tactics are putting
law enforcement at risk. Basically, Alice ISD, which is a

(11:55):
school district in the border area of Texas, posted a letter.
They sent this out to their students' parents and staff
saying that there was a chance that Ice was going
to be stopping their school buses, boarding the buses, and
questioning children, maybe even arresting and deporting children that were

(12:20):
in the country illegally, and so they sent this letter
out to their staff and their teachers and their parents
and whatnot to just basically give them a heads up saying, hey,
if your kids don't show up back from school one day,
this is why. Now, that's nonsense. That was never happening.
It was never going to happen. It's a ridiculous claim.

(12:41):
So why did alice ID put this out with basically
no sort of verification or evidence to support these claims. Well,
they claim they were trying to get out of something
that they thought was going to happen. What it actually
was was a way to generate outrage. They're basically just
trying to stew up headlines and get people pissed off
at Donald Trump. That's what they're trying to do. So

(13:01):
they made this claim up basically out of whole cloth,
and it got to the point where the chief of
the Border Patrol, Mike Banks, had to go on Fox
News and he had to refute these claims because a
bunch of people were like, why are you all stopping
school buses and arresting children in Lady Dotti Da And
it wasn't actually happening at all. So here's Mike Banks
refuting that claim.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
It's just nonsense. It's rhetoric that we're targeting. You know,
there was a news report that we're going to target
school buses and children on school bus.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
It's absurd.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
And if you want to talk about Abuela's mob, Bulla's
a naturalized citizen from Mexico. We're surely not targeting Ubilla's.
We're not targeting US citizens. We're not targeting people that
are in this country illegally, right, we don't have the
authority to go after someone's in this country illegally. We're
targeting criminals and those that have broken the law by
entering the country illegally.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
So there it is from the man himself. He just
gets out there, Okay, this is not happening, This is garbage.
These are lies. Ignoring that that's one thing. Honestly, if
that's the worst that it was, that wouldn't even really
be worth talking about, right because okay, democrats make them
crap up. The officials go out there and refute it,
business as usual, call it today. What's more concerning is

(14:09):
the fact that you know bad actors inside the government,
inside law enforcement themselves. These are left wing activists that
have worked their way into actual law enforcement positions, probably
at the FBI that are now going and they're actually
leaking ICE operations, you know, ice raids and planes for
ice raids to legitimate cartels. This is something that has happened.

(14:32):
They had to call off an ICE raid in Aurora,
Colorado because someone told Trend de Ragua, an actual cartel
gang that kills murders and drugs people. Somebody told them
that ICE was coming, so you guys need to prepare,
get out. Thankfully Ice found out about this and they
got out of there. They didn't go forward with the raid,
they delayed it. That were just trying to take actual

(14:55):
murderers and drug dealers and violent criminals off the streets
of the United States of America, and somebody inside the
FBI tipped them off about it. You have got to
be so clinically insane to do that. I mean, that's
the textbook definition of rooting for the bad guys, right,
You're going out of your way to help someone who

(15:15):
is a member of a gang that kills and drugs
people and does all manner of terrible, horrible crimes. They
enter this country illegally start posing a threat to American
citizens people that we're supposed to protect are actual neighbors.
And then law enforcement says, we're gonna arrest them, we're
gonna stop the crimes we're doing. We're gonna get them

(15:36):
out of our country. And you say, no, I'm going
to warn them. That's disgusting, It's legitimately disgusting. But the
left sees no problem with this. I guarantee you when
they find out who did this, when they're being prosecuted,
Democrat activists and talking heads and influencers are gonna go
out and praise whoever it was that did this, and

(15:57):
was probably somebody at the FBI. There's Tom Homan. He
got on Fox and he talked about this. He said, listen,
this is probably somebody at the FBI. We're going to
find out who it is. We are going to put
them behind bars. Here he is borders are Tom Homan
with Sean Hannity on Fox.

Speaker 5 (16:14):
Sorry, Tom Holman, Tom, where are these leaks coming from?

Speaker 6 (16:20):
Well, look, we're thinking it's coming from inside, and we
know the first leak of AR is under current investigation.
We think we identify that person under investigation right now.
The California League Secretary Nome, She's correct. Some of the
information we're receiving tends to lead toward the FBI. But

(16:42):
I talked to the Deputy Attorney General all this weekend.
They've opened up a criminal investigation, and they have promised
that not only this person lose their job and lose
their pension, they won't go to jail. They're won't criminally prosecute.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
So we're all over again. I cannot stress enough how
insane it is that someone would prioritize actual criminal cartels
over the safety of their fellow Americans. Libs of TikTok
posted that video and she said that, hey, we should
try this person with treason. And I think that's right

(17:15):
because I mean, we've designated these cartels as terrorist organizations, right,
and what you're doing is basically aiding in a betting terrorism.
That's what it is. Let's call this what it is.
This is someone who essentially stole government information and gave
it to a terrorist organization. I don't know what you
call that, but I call that treason. The political activism

(17:36):
inside our federal agencies has got to stop. It's putting
people's lives at risk, it's putting law enforcement at risk.
The people that are forced to live in this community
with trende Arragua. Their lives are at risk. This is
killing people, American citizens. It has got to stop. All right,
we will be right back. I think it's worthwhile to

(18:19):
take a minute to talk about what Elon Musk has
been up to, because he has been very productive. Now,
if it feels like I'm hitting this point a lot
in basically every episode of the show, it's because I am.
And the reason I am is because this is very
important to me, is it should be very important to
every American. As I've made very clear, I don't like

(18:40):
paying taxes. Nobody does. I especially hate paying income tax.
I think that's a deeply immoral tax that has been
imposed on the American people. But it's here. We have
to pay it. We don't have a choice. So I
think the least that we can ask is that our
government take that money and at least spend it responsibly.
I mean, if you're going to take my income, if

(19:02):
you're going to tell me that, I have to pay
a portion of my income to you every single time
I get my paycheck, before I even get the chance
to enjoy it the fruits of my labor, I have
to give that money to you, you could at least
do me the honor of spending my money responsibly. But
as has been made very clear, that's not what's happening.

(19:26):
Our money is being wasted to the tune of billions
of dollars, and finally something is being done about that,
and that is going to have very, very great long
term effects. That's going to lead to our budget deficit
going way down. We're going to have to print way
less money, which means our money is going to be
worth more. Inflation will slow down, or cross our fingers

(19:49):
and pray to God maybe it will stop. This is
something that every single American should be able to get
on board with. Right, let's spend our money responsibly. We'll
have more of it. Our children and grandchildren and great
grandchildren will live better lives because of it. There is
no downside here. I don't understand why this is so

(20:09):
upsetting to people that somebody is actually going in and
clearing out the fraud and the waste in the federal government.
It makes no sense. This should be happening. This is
a good thing. This will benefit you, This will benefit
the people around you. Here's a clip of the Speaker
of the House, Mike Johnson talking about then basically just saying, listen,
this is stuff that people have wanted their elective representatives

(20:32):
to do for a long time, and we just haven't
been able to because we've been lied to. These documents
have been hidden from us, and so we're doing things
the hard way now. People were elected to do this.
The people that were elected to do it were not
allowed to do it the easy way, and so we've
brought in a person to do it the hard way.
That's essentially what's happening, and it's a good thing. Here's
Mike Johnson essentially saying this.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
I met with Elon yesterday about this to get an update,
and it's to me, it's very exciting what they're able
to do because what Elon and the DOJE effort is
doing right now is what Congress has been unable to
do in recent years because the agencies have hidden some
of this from us. You know, there's a lot of
oversight activity that goes on around here all the time,
you all know. But when duly elected representations of the

(21:17):
people request information to find all of these abuses and
it's not turned over to us, what it takes is
an actual audit of the systems and the files themselves
that are often hidden from Congress. That's what you're seeing
right now, and that's why this is so exciting. They're
uncovering things that we have known intuitively have been there,
but we couldn't prove it. Now the proof is being

(21:37):
provided and no one can argue the counter to that.
So stay tuned. There's a lot more to come, and
I think that the courts should take a step back
and allow these processes to play out. What we're doing
is good and right for the American people. What DOGE
is doing is making sure that your taxpayer dollars, all
of us, are spent in the way that they're intended
to be spent, and that they're for the in the

(21:59):
American's entry, in their financially responsible with the precious taxpayers money.
We have a thirty six trillion dollar federal debt and
we have got to get hold of these things. You're
going to see it reflected and the reconciliation package comes forward,
you're going to see it reflected and appropriations as we
go forward, and you're going to see it in these
efforts to cut the waste, fraud, and abuse. And we

(22:20):
think the final number on that is going to be
substantial and a game changer in Washington for the country.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
I mean he mentions the final number there. At this point,
I'm ready to basically guarantee that that final number is
somewhere in the neighborhood probably of a trillion dollars, probably
just from what we've seen so far, with the amount
of things that they're wasting money on and the amount
of money that they're wasting on those things, the total
dollar amount of that waste, fraud, and abuse has it's

(22:49):
got to be at least a trillion, maybe more. Who knows.
I'm gonna go ahead and put my money on a
trillion dollars or somewhere in that range being the final figure.
And I just want to think about that for a second.
Probably a trillion dollars worth of waste at the federal level,
and if not a trillion, at least hundreds and hundreds

(23:09):
of billions of dollars. That's at least half of our
two trillion dollar deficit. Remember, the United States took in
about four point nine trillion dollars in revenue in fiscal
year twenty four, and in that same fiscal year, we're
gonna spend about six point seventy five trillion, So that's
a two trillion dollar budget deficit which could probably be
brought down to one trillion if we cut out a

(23:32):
lot of this garbage. That's a huge win for everybody
in the United States of America. You have to have
your head so far up your butt to think that
this is somehow a bad thing that I can't even
begin to fathom it. Nevertheless, you still have Democrats going
out and trying to villainize Elon Musk for this, which

(23:52):
which makes no sense. I mean, they keep using this line.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
JB.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Pritzker did this. He got out, I believe on Monday,
and he tweeted out Elon Musk was not elected and
does not represent the will of the American people. Well,
you're right and you're wrong, JB. You're right and you're wrong.
Was Elon Musk elected? No, he wasn't. He did not
run for a political office, and he did not win

(24:16):
a political office. Here's what he did do. He openly
campaigned with Donald Trump. Donald Trump openly campaigned with him,
and that entire time, they were very clear about what
Elon Musk would be doing if Donald Trump won. There
was never any doubt in this. Nobody who voted for

(24:37):
Donald Trump, unless they showed up on the day of
having never paid attention to politics a single moment in
their lives, didn't know that Elon Musk was going to
be involved in this administration. We all knew this, This
was very clear, was not hidden. We all knew that
Elon Musk would work with Donald Trump to root out
this waste, this fraud, in this corruption. I mean, we

(24:57):
all knew that doge was going to be a thing
before Trump even won. It was a massive meme. You
had to have just never touched the Internet before in
your life to be surprised by this. Everybody knew this
was happening, and we voted for Trump anyway, because here's
the spoiler alert, we do want this. So was Elon
Musk elected?

Speaker 5 (25:17):
No?

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Does he represent the will of the American people. Yes,
the American people by and large want their taxpayer money
to stop being wasted. And that's what Elon Musk is doing.
It's incredibly important work, it's good work, and we're glad
he's doing it. So the Left needs to just get
out of the way and let it happen. You lost
this fight, cry about it, Cope and see we're cleaning

(25:39):
out the federal government, whether you like it or not.
I mean, they've tried to make the case that Elon
Musk going in and doing this is a threat to
democracy just because he's wealthy. So here he is to
refute that. Here's Elon Musk at the White House with
Donald Trump and his son talking about the fact that, Okay,
this isn't a threat to democracy. This is the restoration
of democracy because we've been told old that this government

(26:01):
works for us and represents us, and that's actually a lie.
It doesn't. Here he is talking about this.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
If there's not a good feedback loop from the people
to the government, and if you have rule of the bureaucrat,
if the bureaucracy is in charge, and then what meaning
does democracy actually have. If the people cannot vote and
have there will be decided by their elected representatives in
the form of the President and the Senate in the House,

(26:30):
then we don't live in a democracy. We live in
a bureaucracy. So it's incredibly important that we close that
feedback we fix that feedback loop, and that the public,
the public's elected representatives, the President of the House and
the Senate decide what happens as opposed to a large
unelected bureaucracy. This is not to say that there aren't

(26:50):
some good There are good people who are in the
federal bureaucracy. But you can't have an autonomous federal bureaucracy.
You have to have one that is respect to the people.
That's the whole point of a democracy.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
And so.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
And if you if you looked at this, if you
asked to look at the founders today and said, what
do you think of the way things have turned out? Well,
we have this unelected, fourth unconstitutional branch of government, which
which is the bureaucracy, which has in a lot of
ways currently more power than any elected representative. And this
is there's not something that people want, and it's not

(27:31):
it does not match the will of people. So it's
just something we've got to we've got to fix. And
they've also going to address the deficit. So we've got
a two twelion dollars deficit and if this, if we
don't do something about this deficit, country is going bankrupt.
I mean, it's it's really astounding that the the interest
payments alone on the national debt exceed the Defense Department budget,

(27:54):
which is shocking because we've got a lot of We
spend a lot of money on defense, but an if
that just keeps going, we're essentially going to bank up
the country. So what I'm really going to say is like,
it's not optional for us to reduce the federal expenses.
It's essential. It's essential for America to remain solvent as
a country, and it's essential for America to have the

(28:16):
resources necessary to provide things to its citizens and not
simply be servicing vast amounts of debt.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
And he's exactly right here. The President is not the
one making decisions anymore. The House of Representatives in the
Senate aren't the ones making decisions anymore. It's staffers, it's bureaucrats,
it's all these people that nobody voted for. And now
it's being pointed out that this is going on, and
the Democrats and the left are getting mad about it.
They're infuriated. But Elon Musk is right, we have to

(28:45):
do something about this. It can't continue. We're headed towards insolvency, bankruptcy,
and god only knows what else. Something has got to
be done, and they're doing it. They should be praised
for this, not villainized. All right, So the left is

(29:22):
trying to demonize Trump's I guess, his work, his Administration's
efforts to crack down on waste, fraud, and abuse, basically
fix the federal government. All the things that we've been
voting for for years and haven't received. Trump is finally
doing them, and the left is trying to act like
this is a crisis. This is the end of the world,

(29:44):
this is the end of democracy. You're all going to
be enslaved by evil Republicans. It's a disaster. Whatever is
any of that working, That's what's important, right the Democrats
are going to say what the Democrats are going to say?
Does that catch on? Do people actually turn around and
vote based off of that? That's the real question. It
looks like the answer to that question as of right

(30:06):
now is pretty muchly no. Which, Hey, great job. You know,
this is a positive sign for society. It means Americans
have finally discovered how to think for themselves. They're not
just taking whatever the left wing talking heads say is
gospel anymore. They're actually, you know, looking at what is
being done and what the results of that are. And

(30:27):
for the most part, people are liking what they see,
and I'm not just making that up. I'm actually getting
this data from a CBS News poll, which was honestly
shocking to see because CBS, as we know, is a
left leaning outlet, so you have to kind of assume
that their listeners are left leaning. Right, So that means
that the people that they're polling are left leaning, because

(30:49):
you know, that's who these outlets go and poets their audience.
Maybe that's just because that's who they have access to.
Maybe it's because they're trying to gain the numbers. Who
knows for sure. But let's actually dig into the results here,
because they are very very pro Trump here. So the
first question was describe Donald Trump as what, and the
top answers were sixty nine percent of people said tough,

(31:12):
sixty three percent said energetic, sixty percent said focused, and
fifty eight percent said effective. Now let's focus on just
those top three. Tough, energetic, focused, Is that anything that
you could have described Joe Biden as absolutely not? Not
in a million years, Nobody in their right mind would

(31:33):
have said that about Joe Biden just because he clearly
wasn't He clearly wasn't energetic. If I had a dollar
for every time I saw video of Joe Biden falling asleep.
At some event, I would be able to pay off
the national debt. He clearly wasn't focused. He would ramble
off about nonsense. I mean, Trump had to call him
on that in the middle of a debate. And I mean,

(31:53):
we all know that Joe Biden wasn't effective. That was
the fourth answer. But those are all the top descriptors
for Donald Trump, which I mean, it's hard to imagine
those being negative things to have in a leader. That's
what you want in a leader. You want somebody that's tough, energetic, focused,
and effective. Great, Donald Trump fits the bill. Let's go.
So the next question was Trump and his campaign promises.

(32:17):
Is he doing a what he promised in the campaign
or be different from what's promised? Seventy percent said he's
doing what he promised in the campaign. Seventy percent. That's
a huge number. That's great. Those are when the next
election numbers. But he can't run in the next election, sadly.
But thirty percent said different from what he promised. I

(32:38):
don't know how you get there. I have to imagine
that's the results of people answering this poll who didn't
really follow politics during the actual election. Maybe they showed
up and voted on the last day and just kind
of picked a name, or maybe they're just now tuning
into politics for the first time in their life and
so they don't really know what Donald Trump promised to do.

(32:58):
And that does happen, there's, you know, a huge spike
of people that sort of tune in to politics and
start paying attention for the first time right after an election.
That's relatively common, So either of those could be the
reason for that. But either way, that's seventy thirty in
Donald Trump's favor which is a huge margin. It's great numbers,
and that I think feeds into his overall job approval rating,

(33:21):
which according to this poll is fifty three percent approve
forty seven percent disapprove. That is a huge number, especially
for Donald Trump, because remember we've talked about this before.
During his first term, his approval rating was usually around
maybe forty nine percent if he was lucky on a
good day. He hung out generally in that forty seven

(33:43):
to forty nine percent range. So the fact that he's
at fifty three percent is insane. Remember, if you go
into an election with fifty three percent job approval rating.
You win that election every single time. There's no math there.
This is fantastic numbers for Donald Trump. And it's not
just this one poll either. Trafalgor Inside Advantage has him

(34:03):
at forty eight percent, which is even higher. Rasmussen also
came in at fifty three percent approve. So this isn't
some outlier. This is a trend. People like what Donald
Trump is doing, despite what the mainstream media is trying
to push. There is no voter remorse here. There's nobody
that's saying, oh my gosh, I can't believe I voted

(34:23):
for Trump. I wish I hadn't done that. Kamala would
have been way better. It's just not real. Democrats are
making up this narrative and spreading it online, and thankfully
it's not working. But Donald Trump was actually asked about this.
This video is from Rapid Response forty seven that's I guess,
one of the official government pages for Donald Trump on
x and they posted this clip of a reporter had

(34:46):
asked in the Oval office Donald Trump why he thinks
he's getting these strong approval ratings, and he just says,
I'm doing normal stuff. I'm restoring normalcy. We've had this
narrative fed to us that what the the Democrats have
been doing for four years is you know, normal and fine,
and it wasn't. People didn't like it. And I came

(35:08):
in and I'm just doing normal things that most Americans
approve of. And that's why I have great numbers.

Speaker 5 (35:13):
Take a listen, I have high approval ratings because I'm
you know, I'm using common sense, whether it's getting men
out of women's sports. I mean, have you seen what
goes on with the boxers and with the weightlifters and
with the swimmers, and everything's so ridiculous, and I think
it's a ninety percent issue, and you know, the amazing thing,

(35:35):
the Democrats are still fighting for it. It's crazy. It's crazy.
I think we should go to Congress also have that
cemented and you know, make it indelible. But we you know,
it's to me, it's all common sense. Who wants an
open border where where prisons are dumped into our country,
where prisoners are let into our country, many of whom
are murderers, many of whom murdered far more than one person,

(35:59):
and now roaming our country. Who wants that? It's terrible?

Speaker 1 (36:05):
And he's exactly right. I mean, the fact is, nobody
wants that. I mean a small, very small portion of people,
very weird people that are not in the majority, want that.
And yet we've been made to believe through what I
can only describe as propaganda. It's mainstream media propaganda that
it turns out, was actually funded by leftists inside the

(36:26):
federal bureaucracy that has been pushed on us. We've been
told by companies and news outlets and influencers that men
boxing women in the Olympics is normal, men sharing bathrooms
with women is normal. Everybody suddenly pretending that there's more
than two genders and you can switch back and forth.

(36:46):
We've been told that that's normal. We've been told that
it's okay for our border to be wide open, and
you should ignore the murder and the crime that inevitably
comes along with that. And I think a huge portion
of Americans were able to think for a little bit, Okay,
well this doesn't really affect my life anyway, so what
does it matter? Why not? Maybe this is normal? And

(37:08):
then we got that in a full dose through Joe Biden,
and we realized, Okay, actually this isn't normal at all.
This does affect me this does hurt my day to
day life. This is weird and wrong and we should
stop it. And they voted to stop it, and Donald
Trump came in and he's working to stop it, and
the American people are happy about that. We like that.
We liked the return to normalcy that Joe Biden said

(37:30):
he was. That's why he ran right. We were told
for years, from twenty seventeen to twenty twenty one, we
were told by the mainstream media, by the left that
Donald Trump was abnormal, Donald Trump was crazy, and Americans
didn't like that. They wanted the return to normalcy. Joe
Biden said he was the return to normalcy. The left

(37:52):
claimed normalcy, I think falsely, and so we got the
full dose of their policy because a majority of Americans
voted for that. And then we found out that it
was a lie. We found out that they weren't normal.
We saw, you know, trans people taking their breasts out
on the White House lawn and showing them off on
social media, and we thought, this isn't normal, this isn't

(38:14):
what I want the United States of America to be.
And then the border that we were told had to
be opened up because there were so many people that
just wanted to come here and live better lives and
become good Americans. We saw those people come here and
they turned out to be criminals and murderers and rapists,
and we saw people in our communities suffer the consequences

(38:35):
of that, and we realized, this isn't normal, this isn't
what we want. We can't tolerate this, this isn't healthy,
and so they voted to put a stop to it.
They voted to do away with the radical left wing nonsense.
And they're happy that it's leaving. They're happy it's gone.
We're getting actual normalcy. This is what we all said
we wanted. We said this when Joe Biden ran and

(38:55):
you didn't listen. You gave us left wing garbage. Here's
the normalcy. We're happy about it now. All right, that's
all I've got. Thank y'all for listening.
