Speaker 1 (00:00):
This person that we're having their daybut performance here at
our Dunkin Music Lounge is someone that I got to
know what's in the past few weeks and we actually
gotten really close. Suite can just yap and yap and
yap together. So if you see us yap in, it's
all good. We're all yapping together. But this guy actually
brings so many smiles and laughs across the world. He
(00:22):
is a day one Z one hundred fan, which is
so special from us here in Long Island.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
He actually started with iHeart a few years ago.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
He was one of our contestants for a fan against
Zara Larsen Quesha interview and music and pop music especially
has been a passion of his and so he is
a true testament to just following your passion, following your dreams.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
You've seen him go viral on social media.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
He has over a billion impressions on all platforms. He
has sang in front of likenesses of President Obama, Joe Biden,
Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa. Now to do his debut performance
for his first single, just for You, can we please
give a huge warm welcome to Harry Daniel.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Period period.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Harry we've been prepping for this debut performance and just
I know, I knew this is gonna happen. It's gonna
be a giggle squad and we can't even look at
each other with.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
But you went from.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Like just being a social media kind of a meme
and people laughing along with you to now you're an
artist and you've been wanting this for a long time.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Take us back.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Oh, I just, oh god, I started making music when
I was like, oh god, I feel like I started
really writing, like and like genuinely trying to pursue this
since I was like twelve and so like I didn't
really know what to do. I was just like all
I did was like follow my favorite artists around, and
I like made a bunch of friends doing that. And
I feel like that like kind I've made the created
a space for me to like comfortably like look into
(02:03):
like pursuing things and following my favorite artist careers and
just coming to events to support them, which is actually
how I ended up here when I was like fourteen,
and so yeah, that's really just sort of how everything
happened in that regard. And so then as the years
went on, I like went to school and I was like,
this thing sucks, Like why do I need a togree
to like make music? Like that's like stupid and so
no offense to anyone who has a degree with us,
(02:25):
it's not my vibe. And so then anyway, uh yeah,
So then I sort of just like was like screw it, Like.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I kind of have to go get it.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
I have to have it going on in social media
in order to really, I think, successfully have a career.
And so I just sort of started posting videos on
the internet seeing what worked, and eventually just.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Here we are.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Now.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Well, you said you're fourteen, following along your favorite artists.
You and I were both groupies.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
I mean I was a groupie too, and so growing up,
who are some of your favorite artists that you now
have been working with?
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Because I really love Zara Larsa and I still do.
She was great, I mean still is great. Honestly, I
really loved Dua Lipa. Me and my friends are still
some like Melanie Martinez and like the Fifth Harmony girls
all the time too, They're so good, And like god,
who else did I really really really like I'd still
like to this day, like adored Doja Cat and like
(03:17):
Ice Spice and just like Travis Scott, and there's so
many just amazing artists that's not like everyone.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah, no, for real, And it's interesting to hear that
you were like, you know what, I love music. I
want to pursue this, but I also think I need
to get pop in on social media first. So obviously
we see you going crazy viowl for your videos of
singing to your favorite celebrities and artists, and some people
might have critiques on those vocals, but you're gonna see
right now that he actually does come correct with the pipes.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Is that true?
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yes, it's true. Yes, it's true. I saw your sound check.
But Harry, what was the first time that you did that?
What was it the first experience? Like, where did the
idea come from?
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Oh my gosh, I went.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
I was literally in line for a Sabrina Carpenter CD signing,
and I was just like, damn, I have nothing to
stay to this girl, like I'd already met I literally
met her at Jim Wall Guys, Like I'm not even kidding,
Like I met her at jingle Bow when I was thirteen.
I was little with like one of my best friend's Mason,
and like I literally we met her and like, I.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Was like, I said all I needed to say then.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
And so then like a few years down the line,
I met her again and I was like, damn, I
have nothing to say to this girl. Guys, like, I
really have nothing to say. And so I just was like,
all right, like screw it. I guess I'm just gonna
like troll I guess and see what happens kind of,
and it was just sort of the rest is history.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Yeah, So that first video did that one.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Blow up, I had like four hundred or five hundred
followers and it probably got a couple hundred thousand views,
and so at the time, for me, that was like
and it still is honestly, like, imagine that many people
in a room.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
It was like, God, there was.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
Yeah, I think for me it was a lot of views,
and I was like, well, it's like if it's not broken,
don't fix it.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
And so I just kind of.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
Really kept at it and just kind of kept doing
it every time someone would come to town for a
press junket or there was another CD signing or something.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
So, yeah, is there one celebrit artist that even to
this day, like I I can't believe I did.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
That Dua Lipa for me is so like, I mean,
she's just incredbed. I mean like that was one of
my childhood idols. How could I like not be really
gagged about that. I think like Scissa or Deshakat, there's
honestly a lot of people one really gagged over, but
it's like really random people like I was in like
tears when I did Tyla, Like I love Tyla, right.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
And something funny that we've seen with you going at
it with these videos is now those artists that you
really looked up to are.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Like so geeked when they see you. They're like, oh
my god, I know you. How does that feel?
Speaker 4 (05:32):
Oh my gosh. I think there's like a Billie Eilish lyric.
I used to really love it. It's like you are
not unknown, And I think I really like the like
sentiment of like, well, I think every person like a
special and stands out and I think everything that they
have to say really matters. And so for me, I
think it's just sort of like I feel like it's
in certain regards like my pop culture loving self and
just have a huge fan of all the artists.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
I think it just really sort of like resonates with me.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
And so I think whenever an artist recognizes me or
someone recognizes me, I think it's just sort of like
a there we are. It's like it's like the ultimate reward,
I guess as a fan.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah, and so I always yeah, and we're seeing this
evolution of you that we haven't really seen a lot.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Obviously started as a troll with the Sabrina.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Thing, and now you are coming into your own as
an artist. And when you told me you had a
song coming out, I was like, okay, like awesome, and
then I heard it.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
I was like, looking at yourself.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Wait, wait, you guys, is actually really good because we
thought that you weren't gonna trol or something like that,
but your your voice is actually good.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Yeah. I mean I think it's like it's one of
those things where I mean, like there's never gonna be
wait that stuffing.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
We thought you're gonna suck, but you're actually not bad.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Because you put on like you suck.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Oh I know, So I yeah, you know.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
I feel like it was just really one of those
things where I was like, oh yeah. I mean I
I feel like I'm always gonna be my biggest critic
and I'm always gonna creudjele everything I do. And I
feel like a lot of people can really relate to
that like sort of feeling in that sentiment, and so
for me, it was really just like.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
All right, screw it, Like.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
If I like, I'm just like the whole thing is
sort of just about like keeping people entertained. And so
for me, even with my own music and my own performances,
it's like you never know what's real, and like you
never know what's genuine, and you never know.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
What like I'm trolling.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
And I think that's just like even in the performance today,
I feel like you'll definitely like got.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
A taste of that for sure.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Well you're not trolling about your vocals. I love the
new song Congratulations. How does it feel to be here
in this millment where it's like I have a new.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Song, I'm putting it out.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I'm doing my debut performance at the Dunkin Music Lounge
with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
It's my dream come true.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
I mean, I've definitely never I've always wanted to come
to this lounge.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
I mean, like, guys, like there's this girl from.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Long Island where I'm from, and her name is Jenna
Rose and Anyway, she has this song called My Genes
and it was like really viral when I was a
lot younger. And anyway, Jenna Rose performed at this lounge
and I saw a video of it last night and
I was like, oh my god, like I'm literally I'm
in Like Sureliva Rodrigell played her great, but Jenna Rose
played her.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Guys like that's a legend.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
So now you and Jenner Rose are putting on for
Long Island, Yeah, York is that like.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
I mean, like general like I could never do what
Genero's does. Don't get twisted, but I I'm.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Just really honored I think that I get to even
do stuff like this at all, because I think, like,
like in seriousness that actually it's like a really it's
nice that I get to perform, and it's nice at
like a station I used to listen to so much.
I mean, I still listen to honestly whenever I put
turn my car on, like it's always set, says you
one hundred and so I think, honestly, it's really full circle,
and it's it feels really great to have that kind
of support this time around, especially from a station and
(08:27):
from people who I.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Love so much and as we're watching you evolve into
the star, what kind.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Of artists do you want.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
To be capable?
Speaker 4 (08:35):
I kind of want people to I mean, like I
wrote and I produced the song myself, and so I
think the thing is, I think a lot of people
like behind the gimmicks and behind I think a lot
of the theatrics and whatnot, I think beneath it, like
I want people to kind of deem me capable and
kind of deem that I actually like can like write
and sing and produce my own music.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
And so that's the thing. But I think I overall
just want.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
To give people that sort of escapism that I always
was looking for as a kid, like in my favorite artists,
because like, if it's hard, sometimes you just need to
like look at other people and just forget about your
own problems.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Yeah, and so what message and what piece of advice
do you have for the young fans that are your
fans now and want to get to just the stardom
that you have been bubbling for yourself?
Speaker 5 (09:17):
Hum?
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Oh god, I don't know if anyone's looking for advice
for me.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Um, I would say probably that I would just do everything,
I guess on your own terms. I mean like it
doesn't really matter if what anyone else thinks of you.
I mean, like how I mean like when I started
making these like silly videos on the internet, Everyone's like,
(09:40):
oh my god, he sucks, and like, damn I did
stuck on purpose. Maybe they were right, but I mean
I ended up being able to put out music and
being able to perform it at a radio station.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
So I mean, like, hey, something, sometimes all that matters
is it's it's the journey true be.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Now enough of that.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, but I think you can literally, like I said, yeah,
four hours and these fee babe, we hope you before.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
I don't know if that was gonna.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Happen, but sorry, I think we're ready to see you
and your day you perform with you in your song
why so FeH your song I'm him so important to you.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
It's the first one.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
I feel like it was like I honestly was I
wanted to break the ice, I think with the first release,
and it was like there was so much to address
and I feel like like I didn't want to put
something out that just felt completely unrelated to like everything.
I feel like that was on the table that I
needed to address, and so it was kind of like,
hella awkward almost, I want to say, like I was
just in a really strange position, like what is that?
(10:43):
Sorry I got distracted. Sorry, Yeah, I feel like I
was in a really awkward sort of position and I
needed to address everything head on and take the bowl bit.
It's like horns, like I kind of always feel like
I have traditionally, and so with this first single, it
was just about having fun and breaking the ice and
just like showing.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Off that I'm capable.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
And then I think in subsequent releases will be able
to really I'll be able to show off my rage.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
But I mean it's just the first one. I wanted
to have fun.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yes, well, we are ready to watch. We are ready
to see, and then we're gonna see what you have
for us in your baby performance. You guys ready for
Harry Daniels.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
Wait ya, I wanted Woe Vicki on this song, and
my team told me I couldn't have her on and
I was really upset about it, guys, but like it's okay,
wait y'all when the chorus starts, I want y'all do
jumping jacks with me. Someone DM me last night and
(11:37):
they were like, oh, I just did jumping jacks to
the chorus, and I thought it was like a vibe.
So like everyone with the chorus arts like I need
you all to go out, get out your seats and
do jumping jacks like I'm not getting every single person.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Y'all could it?
Speaker 4 (11:48):
Like y'all gotta get stuff to jacks, like like, come on, y'all,
get into.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
It all right.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
I don't take anything serious.
Speaker 5 (11:58):

the rip.
Speaker 3 (13:36):

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Y'all can try to catch up, but you won't get
it close to what I'm on.
Speaker 7 (13:41):
I'm here, I'm I'm I'm I'm I.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Ain't a cigarette. Well, yeah it was something.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Oh okay, it was something.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
You ready you got it?
Speaker 8 (14:36):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Oh wait wait wait wait wait wait wait oh right.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Sorry, y'all.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
It was a very last numb rehearsal.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
All right, As.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Y'all know, I really really really, I just I'm very honored.
I feel very blessed that I get to even do
stuff like No, it's serious, like, I'm really blessed and
honored that I get to do stuff like this, And
it actually means a lot to me that all of
you guys decided to take the time to come out
and support.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
It really means so much to me.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
No matter how much I troll or I joke or
I don't take anything serious, I really appreciate it. And
so to show off sort of my gratitude, I actually
wrote like it. I mean, I didn't write it because
it's a freestyle, but I have a freestyle wrap for
you guys. So it's actually about the elections coming up.
So they say we gotta go to the polls. But
when we go to the polls, that doesn't mean that
(15:22):
we're there to troll. And when we're there to troll,
that doesn't mean that we can't be seen. But when
we're not seen, that doesn't mean that we can't break
our spleens at the polling stations, not the train station,
because you go on the train station and then you
go on vacation. But when you're on vacation, that doesn't
mean that you can't use your PlayStation. And speaking of stations,
(15:45):
you gotta go to the polling station. Pokemon, go to
the polling station like I'm Hillary Clinton. But that doesn't
mean that I can't go back on vacation. So shout
out to the polls. Young people were not moles, and
that's why we go to the polls and we vote
because we need hope period.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
All right.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
I got one cover for y'all for real though, and
then I got a dip because I have no songs.
Otherwise I would have been this a little bit longer.
But I have like one song.
Speaker 9 (16:22):
Peen peen. Here we get it, Peen feen. Okay, peen.
This is one of the girls.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
By the weekend, Jenny and Lily Ro's dev shout out
to Jenny.
Speaker 8 (16:39):
Yes, damn, she really all day.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
So nobody I control you.
Speaker 8 (16:51):
I broke you, just own you. They can't do that.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
I love you, Cuzy louyo baby loving your sub said
you love you.
Speaker 5 (17:04):
I can't say. It's the radio.
Speaker 8 (17:05):
You feel pain with a flinch, So say you meet
a plan leave me with nothing. When I come.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Down, my God loved.
Speaker 8 (17:27):
Push me, shook me. It's a love passa. You don't
gotta be loved.
Speaker 10 (17:34):
No, I don't gotta be therd.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
I just want to be what your girls, and.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
You don't gotta be loved.
Speaker 10 (17:47):
I don't gotta be the lord. I just want to
be what your girls and heat beat I said. I mean,
I'm no foster lord to feet. Jeez, my thought, just sleep,
(18:08):
take me the world, but I'm.
Speaker 8 (18:09):
Still my feet.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
This is a sorry.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
I can get you.
Speaker 8 (18:16):
Where's my God?
Speaker 1 (18:17):
I just stop.
Speaker 8 (18:22):
We don't gotta be love.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
I don't gotta be Lord.
Speaker 7 (18:28):
I just wanna be one girls tonight.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
They don't gotta be love. No, I don't gotta be Lord.
Speaker 5 (18:37):
No, no tonight.
Speaker 7 (19:11):
All right.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
No, I'm crying.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
I'm trying to think of doing it like I'm like, damn,
I'm like, y'all will go see me on to be
the worst, like forty five minutes of your life, Grovy.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Something from the Duncan Music Lounge to Madison Square Garden.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
We came from go on to four times Grammy nominating words.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
You know, before we started our team here, I hard
got a calendar invite and write when the calendar invite
God sent out. I got a special text from Elvis
Durant himself. So I just want to read you this
text from Elvis Durant. And I've done so many Duncan
latte lounges, I've never gone a text like this, Crystal.
I love Harry Daniels Capital l ov If I wasn't
(19:56):

right now to see your interview.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
You have fun, I have to come back and do
another one, come right or you need him here.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Now.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
This is our Duncan Music allounge tradition. We have to
ask every single artist this question. So we're gonna ask
this question to Okay, Harry, Okay, if you are at
a Duncan and you have the opportunity to ask one
person to join you for a Duncan latte, dead or alive,
who would you choose and why?
Speaker 4 (20:23):
To Elvis Durand now make up right, But if Elvis
wants to bring another guest, damn, it's gonna be a
I gotta get the whole spot. You gotta come, Families,
gotta come.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Try and think.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
Oh my gosh, I could go. I could go to
Dunkin Donuts with anyone. Oh it's not Duncan Dunts anymore.
I could go to Duncan with anyone. My god, lo,
what are we getting? What are we ordering?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Whatever you want?
Speaker 4 (20:48):
We need the Charlie drinks, the Charlie Demilio drinks. I
want Charlie d that's the dunk because that's oh my god, no, no, no,
you don't need I need ice spice because.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
I need the munchkins drag. Yeah, I want.
Speaker 1 (21:04):

We saw everyone jumping Jack in. We saw everyone smiling
and laughing and just really enjoying you, your presence, You

Everyone,
