Speaker 1 (00:00):
Make some noise for Savannah le.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hi girl.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
To take a seed. How are we?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
I'm good.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
We were talking about this a little bit earlier. But
we flew in at seven am, so I'm not a
morning person, but I'm here and I'm ready to go.
Mornings are just not my thing because I'm a night out.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I say, it's really late.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Oh my gosh, can relate.

Speaker 5 (00:26):
Yeah, it's gotta be something like very long day.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
And like, how are we doing?

Speaker 5 (00:31):
Like with the Polish weather today that we're having.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I'm really happy about the weather.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
I mean, obviously the rain isn't the best, but the
weather not being hot is better than anything else period.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Exactly, Like I don't know, I'm always like, you know,
like a little bit of heat.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
But then you know, so very cool. I love this.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
Things are like, I mean, things are moving for you
right now, like lots.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Happening, busy days and co. So you just got off
tours with tone.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Of a rae and oh my gosh, like Edwin Raphael
and you're about to embark on another right, Yes, very exciting.
So there's a lot happening for you right now, And
like I just wanted.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
To take a second.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
I acknowledge that because it can you know, things move fast,
and we can definitely get a little loss on things sometimes.
But to look back and kind of reflect on your
journey thus far, like what's something you know you've kind
of learned about yourself that you're going to carry along
with you sort of like opening up for these tours

(01:37):
and like sort of in the full swing of things
right now.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yeah, I mean, we really wanted to play as many
shows as possible this year. It was like a huge
goal to do at least like twenty plus and I
think Connecticut tomorrow Dunglounge will be my twentieth for the
year so far, which was like the goal. So I'm
just really happy to have gotten to that point. And
I think performing for me is like the thing that

(02:00):
keeps me going in this business. I mean, it's like
such like a reward to be able to like perform,
see people's actual faces, and like know the music's like
making an impact.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
In some way.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
And so I feel like for me, it's just honestly
made me more motivated to just keep going and do
more music and like actually make songs thinking about the
way that they're going to be perceived live too, because
for a long.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Time, that wasn't the case.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
I was just like recording, writing and then going to
my room and like posting it on social media, and
I wasn't really out.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
I can I can imagine I was gonna like kind
of ask about that too little, because I'm assuming you
were kind of making music during COVID and everything like that. Yeah,
So it's been a little different to like be out
on the road and like see people's reactions to your music.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
It's great.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, And like you know, to have
that Internet presence and to be as like transparent as
you are, I guess, Like I mean, like I guess
what I'm asking is like you know, your transparency with
like your fans and like you know what you're putting
out online. It's like, you know, what do you really
want them to take away from, like your experience and

(03:03):
how open you are with like you know, just you
know everything generally, and you know it's fun to see
your journey, but you know there's got to be lessons
you learn along the way too.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
I think for me, music has always been like a
source of like a way for me to process something
that I may not be able to like verbally make sense.
Of to someone in like a conversation, and so music
has always been like a safe space for me to yeah,
just express myself emotionally, and so I always want people
to feel like they know like the truest parts of
me and my most authentic self through listening to the songs,

(03:35):
because I feel like my personality and my music kind
of are like contractory sometimes just based off like people
that meet me of like, your music's a lot sadder
than I thought would because you're like so like not
that way all the time. And so but I do
think it's just like the place that I use to
like process hard stuff, and I want people to feel
like heard and seen in the music but also find
ways to make it like their own story and relate

(03:57):
to it in like a personal way that's not really
anything to do with me, and just like kind of
take the music and yeah, make it their own situation
because that's what I do with like my favorite artists.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
So yeah, I think it's also.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Important to like remember too, like even if you have
like a place to process, like maybe it's like journaling,
or maybe it's like songwriting or dancing, but just like
creative in general, I feel like as a way to
express yourself.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
And it's really something I like love.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Advocating for is just like figuring out what your creative
outt is and like pursuing that even if it's not
like your career.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
You know, absolutely, no, I agree.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
You mentioned like you know, you watch like all of
your favorite artists kind of like do that as well,
Like I mean, the favorite artists that come to mind
for you.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
I would say Gracie Abrams. I love Noah Khan. I
love like the journey that I feel like he's been
on in the past like two years. Yeah, I really
love like Holly Humber's Stone.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, just very indie pop.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Yeah, No, absolutely, and I love that it's having its
moment right now like Noah Khan.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Gracy Abrams, sat Lelye Homer Stone and hit my Girl.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Savannas serious like oh my gosh, Like I mean, and
it's gotta be cool too, like you know, touring with
Donah and everything like that, and like it's just I'm
sure it's a blast.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Like yeah, they're also both just like very different artists,
and I think that's like something that's exciting about being
an opener is like you get to kind of step
into someone else's world and like kind of take on
their fan base and I just love getting to do that,
and I love getting to see like the way that
people connect differently into different types of music, because like truly,
like neither of their sets are at all the same,
but I felt like I fit well in both settings

(05:32):
and that made me happy too, just to feel like
I could connect to their audience and like, yeah, just
see the way people are vibing with them.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
It's nice to see absolutely great, great people look up to.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
So why don't we eat no pun intended, get into
a couple of songs and do this thing cool? Give
it up for Savannah Lee.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
So this first song is called Indigo, and it's off
my most recent EP, Reminders of You.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
This song is one of my favorites off the project,
and I think when we wrote it, I just remember
like leaving the session and knowing that it was going
to be a song that came out on this project.
It's just a song about like being with someone who
makes you feel as though if you guys were to
not be together, they would like totally be fine. The
next day they'd be like super fine, but you're like

(06:26):
super not fine. And I think that that's just like
a lonely yeah experience.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
So this is in to go.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
Say go Ruinas before you can heard me, only makes
it worse when you sir, the never really even.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I don't know if I never believe? Is there any
thing moves now?

Speaker 7 (07:27):
I said again short lead oh because my heart says.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
It's blouz you or did you know? Did you know?
Did you know? Died in a girl my colors? A show.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Just getting us great trying.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
So bless.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
Only made hours and year said there you running out
of breezon.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
To that try and start repleading.

Speaker 7 (08:30):
Is there anything missing? Most our second short mon't go
is my heart is blooms to call?

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Did you know? To Juno to Jena, have been about
hidden in any or close on my.

Speaker 6 (08:55):
Hearting landsmuser bulls, gold is.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Stormy chal did you know? Did you know? Did you
do it? In the col colors are shoring just paint

(09:21):
of scrape trying hot?

Speaker 7 (09:28):
Is there anything missing?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Mobs?

Speaker 7 (09:33):
Your second short flooding, it's my heart is books.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
You what did you know?

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Did you not? Did you not? Did I been.

Speaker 6 (09:48):
Ab any or cloves hurting lines.

Speaker 7 (09:56):
All sportest story.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Sort thank you? M hm.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
This next song is called Reminders of You off the
same EP.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
It's the title track of the EP actually, And yeah,
I put these songs always next to each other on
the set just because the Reminders of You has like
a little lyric callback to this most recent song I
just played two seconds ago. So I like to play
them next to each other most times when I release

(10:55):
an EP or any kind of track listing, every song
is in that order for a reason. And this song
is just about feeling like you know you've made the
right decision in a relationship that wasn't serving you anymore
and walking away from it, but also knowing that it
like really hurts and just kind of letting yourself be sad,
which is something that I'm not very good at, and
I think that, yeah, just a way of healing through

(11:17):
that kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
And so yeah, this is reminded of You.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Whats because weird. It's huge, a big street cras.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
It was, havn't to know the wordish, What does it mean?

(12:14):
When feelings came the dawn overly.

Speaker 7 (12:21):
Close, inner states, couldn't turn surround, was always heard it
the wrong.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Way, and all the flowers don't.

Speaker 6 (12:39):
And the summers don't say so way they to, And
it feels kind of strange laying down in marborom o
the minders of you do minder, where's a feel when

(13:02):
all burned down just could face its Ownhow.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
This round?

Speaker 6 (13:20):
Half a decade a circle, it's a last bow. All
the flowers don't blo in the songs, don't say so
they used to. It feels cut a strange land down

(13:43):
in marble.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
In the reminders of.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
The flowers don't blo It was some bosta so this
it feels kind of straight with your ghosts and marrow
and the binders of the banders a few when all

(14:24):
boo coluser showing the train is less.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Thank you. I think I have one more And the
song is the final song on the EP. It's called
Favorite Parts of Me. The song is actually very fun
when you listen to it. However, it doesn't. It's not

(14:55):
gonna sound as fun on the guitar. But it's a
song about recognizing that you don't necessarily miss a person,
or it could be anyone like family, friend, ex. Whatever,
but more so like you missed the person you were
when you guys were together or you guys were friends
or whatever, like versions of you that you've kind of

(15:16):
outgrown and stuff like that. And I feel like that
kind of summed up how I was feeling and I
kind of came to that conclusion through writing this project.
And so, yeah, favorite parts to me is really special.
I also want to say thank you for having me, guys,
everyone that's allowed me to come today. I love Duncan.
I think everyone knows how serious it is. I'm there
every day. I love like six thousand app points.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
It's not a joke. You can literally ask anyone.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
I know some people might come in here and be like,
I love Duncan, but I actually love Duncan. So just
wanted to say that to make sure everyone knows. And yeah,
this is a favorite part to me. I hope you
guys like it, And thanks for coming.

Speaker 6 (16:00):
Are you could save me? Wake me up from the
battery with everything change? It wasn't you I was chasing.
I don't miss you. I just miss who I was
when I was with you, and it took me some
how to figure it out. I don't miss you, I

(16:24):
just missed who I was when I was with you,
and still hurt to.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Think of God.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
Eighteen years old, my parents house another birthday concept.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Don't for you.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
God, I say what's on my mind and say, oh,
I don't miss you. I just moseure was when I
was with you. I guess I thought you heard a
missing peace to getting back my favorite parts of me
Coming to terms with Barbieldy.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
I don't miss you. Who I just monseure was when
I was with you.

Speaker 6 (17:02):
Feels like walking outside, oh, breaking a cycle. I don't
think I need you, but I think I mind though
I've been seeing everything and gray and help come every day,

(17:23):
say my husbandrive you.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
I want to go back to.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
Eighteen years old, my parents' house, another birthday concept.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Don't freak out.

Speaker 6 (17:39):
I'll see what's on my mind and say, wow, I
don't miss you. Who I just been Sue was with
the Akist, I thought you aren't missing past to getting
back the favorite parts of me coming to terms with reality,
I don't miss you.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
I just miss you hours. I don't miss miss you.
I don't mis I don't miss you.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
And now I'm twenty four years talking fick out how
to be okay with me?

Speaker 5 (18:21):
Right now?

Speaker 2 (18:22):
I need to go back. Then show me how I
got to.

Speaker 6 (18:31):
Follow your missing he used together by my favorite part to.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Me coming into terms just my reality. I don't miss you.

Speaker 8 (18:42):
I dismiss you are what don't miss I don't miss you.
I don't miss.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Incredible, thank you so much, six thousand app points.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Girls literally on there every day.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
I swear dunk girlies like for real, like ride or die,
Ride or die. So I guess while on the topic,
I mean, like, what's a perfect Duncan fall bevy for you?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
See, that's a great question.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
I get the same thing every time, so I literally
think I need to switch it up. I get the
same Like it's not like like what is that seasonal
at all? It's like the French vanilla with like extra
ice and cream.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Of course it's very classic though yeah, yes, absolutely no,
that's what it is. And like it's great because it
goes all year round.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
I'm serious though, now it's true.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Do you have like fall?

Speaker 5 (19:58):
I mean, I am also so a Duncan girly, I really,
I mean obviously, all their flavors are incredible. I'm a
butter Pecan girly and I'm super excited. They just recently
added it as a permanent flavor. So I was in
heaven when they did that. Switch it up Butter Pecan
I always get ice latche butter pecan with oat milk.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
It is world changing. Yeah, this is good.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
I've got Christina who's in the cow remembers this. Maybe
I'll order it.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yeah, amazing. Yes, okay, we're after influencing.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
So I also love that you are an anagram expert
and correct me I'm pronouncing this correctly.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Yes, yes, any your Graham anagram.

Speaker 5 (20:40):
So you're an anagram You're a certified niagram coach, Like,
what is dad entail?

Speaker 2 (20:45):
That is so cool? Literally so much.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Literally I bore my management with us every day of
my life and all my friends. I think I have
one friend through my roommate, thank God, who's like loves
the anagram.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
So we like talk about it all the time. But
the rest of the world is like, why do you
keep talking about it? I'm like, I can't stop.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
No, It's basically I was really inspired by the enneagram.
It's a personality test for anyoneho doesn't know what that is.
I literally had to take the test through this college
course I was doing for creativity in college.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
I figured out my.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
Type and then from there I was very like taken
it back almost by just the accuracy of it all
and I felt like for me, as someone who kind
of struggles to understand, not even understand myself, I feel
like I'm pretty self aware, but I guess it was
like the language to communicate with people around me and
like my team and my family and my friends. Like
I felt like it gave me that like told to

(21:37):
like be able to grow as a person, almost like
a cheat coach literally a cheat no, like too much
of a cheat code. Where I was also kind of
like I want to learn about this because if everyone
can read this and know so much about me, like
I have to know about the other numbers. I was like,
I can't be the only one getting like known out here,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
So I had to figure it out.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
But no, I got I did the coaching thing in
February was when I got like officially certified. But I
just I think like it's really helpful in business, and
a lot of what I do is so musically like
inclined obviously so creative, and that's where I'm pouring a
lot of my energy. So I kind of wanted to
have an outlet for something that was a little bit
more just like logic brained, because that's just my by
nature what I'm very comfortable with.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
So yeah, just like coaching for literally women and entrepreneurs
that are like young, yeah much oldest.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
Oh that's amazing, yeah, you know, and it's all it
all kind of ties together, creativity and everything like that.
Someone on your team was saying you were able to
guess her enneagram, which is crazy.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
I yeah, it's like bad. I think it might be bad.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Well, what's yours?

Speaker 3 (22:34):
I'm a type eight?

Speaker 4 (22:36):
Okay, yeah, all right, my queen and the crowd knows,
Kate knows me and Kate talked about this vineagram I want.
Our first call were like, hey, I talk about it
with everyone's new icebreaker, like when playing pop worn like
tell me your niagram.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Everyone must do the test, absolutely required.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
That's so funny, girl.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
We literally were in the car we just hired a
new photo video girl to come out with us, me
and my manager. We were like out just recently with
Edwin obviously, and we were like sitting in the car
and we were like, what's her any Graham like whispering
it to each other, and then we guessed it and
we were.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Like, nice, that's amazing, I got this.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Yeah, it's very fun. But also it can be like
sometimes too much, so like I got to rein it
in for my roommate and eyes time only.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
I mean, you're like, it's such a fun thing to
like be able to connect with someone on It's almost
like asking star signs are you know? It's pretty much
that exactly feels very similar like that a little more
fact based for sure. If you have not done the test,
I highly recommend you do because it will scare you.
You inspired me this morning to retake it, and I
have not taken it in roughly four years. Just telling

(23:39):
you this, and I'm like, you know, there's been a
lot that happens in four years. Sometimes it might change,
I don't know, but like it is something that kind.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Of roots in childhood.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
But like to prove this is legit, I got the
same exact one and like by switched up the questions too,
because I notice a couple of Nightlis in there, so
I'm like, Okay, well, I guess I must really be
like this one.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Then I've taken like ten times and I get the
same thing every time, and I'm like, I'm not going
to get it this time, and I get it every
even one time I switched to of my answers, I
was like, you're not gonna and I got the same thing.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
So trying to out smart what is it sixteen personalities
dot Com?

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Oh yeah, it's a very nuance, which I love.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
I love how vast the whole system is because it
just makes you not feel boxed in by it. Like
you could grow as a person, change, be healthy, not healthy, whatever,
and like stress levels could be high, whatever, but your
SOT ultimately, like corn number stays and then you just
present I guess differently.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Absolutely, it's really fun.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
I mean, your personality shines through. I love your transparency,
your authenticity, and like, seriously, like I cannot wait to
see what else you are going to do. We are
so excited you're officially a part of iheartfam. Come back
to our dunge alonge anytime? Where can people find you?
What's coming up from Savannah Lee?

Speaker 3 (24:48):
You can find me anywhere. I hope.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
I'm pretty much on everything Savannah Lee. Guys this maybe
they'll edit this, I don't know. I literally like we
every show we played in the last like two months,
you know, when they do like the green Rooms sign
or whatever, the craziest spellings I've ever seen guys. But
it's like not even like I kind of think it's fun.
It's almost like a little thing where like taking pictures

(25:11):
of all them and we're like gonna post them because
they're just like Savannah with like no with an H,
which that's very common. But then one was like no
age but with one end. The Lee is like L
E I G H, which is the right feeling, but
then it's Lee. It's just craziness. So it's Savannah Lee,
but Savannah with no H two ends.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
And then L E I G H is my middle name.
That's that's the artist name.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
I know.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
It's so my mom just had to do it, you know,
she had to switch me my name.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
I can't even tell you how many different I get it.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
She just wanted to make it a thing, you know,
but she did make it a thing. So that's where
you'll find me. And then I guess what's next is
just yeah, going.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
Back out on the road, thank god, in October for
a bit, and also just writing for my next project.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
So exciting. We can't wait to see it. Another hand
for Savannah Lee. Yeah,
