I'm Hugh Atchison, and I'm the host of The Passenger,
but this is not the Passenger because I can't really
talk about travel right now because none of us are
allowed to travel in the world. And we understand that. UM.
It's a terrifying time to be a human. And I
think there's been very many terrifying times in history. UM,
(00:21):
I for one, in this iterance of terror, have had
to shut down the restaurants that I adore and run
and of calla together with nothing. And whether they come
back online at some point in time, I don't know.
It's going to be an expensive venture. UM. A lot
of us are gonna lose everything we have, UM, financially
(00:42):
at least. But you don't lose what people can never
take from you, which is your pride. You believe in
the success you've had, the stories you tell, and the
people you love. UM. They can't take that. No disaster
in the economy, UM can take that. Or anxiety from
(01:03):
COVID nineteen, it can't take that. So wash your hands,
be good to yourselves. I'm gonna put up an episode
next week and then we're gonna get back into it again.
In the interim, I may talk about some things that
aren't travel. I may just talk about my life and
talk to people who are dear to me about what
they're thinking about how this means to my industry, which
is so tentacled and connected to everything else that we

find dear in this world. So stay safe out there.
