Speaker 2 (00:10):
TMZ shared that John bon Jovi stopped as a short
woman from jumping off of a Nashville bridge earlier this week.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
So he was.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Speaking to this woman, kind of convincing her to come
off of the bridge. She was there with another bystander.
They pulled a woman to safety. And I mean it
must have been right place, right time, because bon Jovi
was there on the bridge filming his new music video
The People's House. So wow, just what an incredible story.
Nikki Bella has filed for divorce from her husband Ardam,
(00:42):
less than two weeks after he was arrested for domestic violence.
Neither of them have been very vocal when it initially happened.
Her rep came out and said that they're asking for privacy,
but she hasn't posted anything on social media.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
She hasn't really said anything.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
In fact, it hasn't even been confirmed that she was
the vicar dumb in the situation, but it can only
be assumed since she has filed for divorce. The Wicked
Experience is opening up in Universal Hollywood and Orlando this October,
which is so exciting.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
I cannot wait for this movie.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
We went to go see Wicked in Broadway here at
Asu Damage. It was my daughter's first introduction to Broadway.
We loved it, especially as a family. It's coming to
theaters November twenty second. So now to experience a whole
like immersive type of thing at Universal Hollywood.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Why not? So it's going to.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Showcase props from the film and exciting photo opportunity merchandise,
and then later in uh with the It's gonna be
in tandem with the film opening.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
It's gonna have costumes, will be on display.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
It's just gonna be incredible, right, all gonna be at
Universal Hollywood. Speaking of Universal Hollywood, we're gonna have your
chance to go to Universal Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights coming
up in about an hour. Okay, on the way with
your sip of the day. This nine year old that
performed at America's got talent blowing it out of the water.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
How cool is it going to be if she wins
the whole thing?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
We'll play it for you around six forty on Mixed
ninety six nine in the Valley's Best Mix. It is
time for the sip of the day, that sip of
fun while you sip on your coffee. And America's Got
Talent is happening right now, and two kids are really
making headlines because of how well they're doing and how
powerful their voices are.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
So let's start with a nine year old have to.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Have Fun, Always had a fun as going on, always.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Had that's Prettice Gus.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
She's nine years old and she performed Panic at the
disco High Hopes. But the one I really loved was
fourteen year old Reed Wilson, who performed Whitney Houston's I
want to Dance with somebody.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
I want to dance somebody.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I don't want.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Somebody, Yeah, somebody.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
With somebody who I could never I can't even it's somebody.
So I actually hope one of them wins because it'd
be super cool to see a kid take it home. Okay,
don't forget your chance to go to Universal Studios Hollywood
Halloween Horn Night's coming up around seven twenty five.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Plus, I'm gonna have.
Speaker 2 (03:26):

Eight thirty good Priscilla Show every morning on your smart device.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Did you know that overthinking will prevent you from problem solving?
What's up, guys, Priscilla here, and this has to do
with the Spire Allergy and sinus.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Just stick with me here.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
You're feeling a cold or maybe you're having a consistent
allergy issue, but you're overthinking it. You're not sure if
it's a cold, if you're sick, if you should even
go see a doctor. You're like, oh, it's maybe not
that big of a d but then you're constantly dealing
with it. Stop overthinking it and go see Aspire Allergy
in Sinus because they can help you find out what's
going on. A recent study has shown that forty five
percent of patients who suffer from allergies also suffer from
(04:12):
chronic sinus issues, and those issues are often left untreated.
And for the month of September, in recognition of World
Sinus Health Awareness Month, Aspire is offering a free sinus
CT scan when you come in for an allergy test,
and those scans are done right in the clinic and
can uncover issues that could be preventing you from getting
the relief you deserve. They have locations in Chandler, Mesa
and Tempece so you're sure to find a location near you.
(04:34):
Just go to aspirellergy dot com. That's aspirellergy dot com.
CT scans are only performed when deemed necessary by a
medical provider. Ag restrictions may apply.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
That's Hozier on Mix ninety six nine in the Valley's
Best Mixed Don't forget at eight thirty this morning is
when I'm going to ask you a call to tell
us all the songs that we put on our Mix
ninety six ' nine road trip playlist for your chance
to go to the festival in Las Vegas. So, sid,
I see you have your glasses on today day? Yes,
don't you normally wear contacts? A little bit about well,
(05:04):
I've got both.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
I'm pretty blind and I hope that I'm not the
only one who does this. But I've gone about two
years since I've gotten a check up on my firstscription,
and I was trying to wait until after baby, because
sometimes your eyes can change. Yes, that's fair, and so
I went in the other day and got a check up,
and then I got new contacts in and we were
walking to A J's last night. Oh no, and I
(05:25):
was like, oh my gosh, look at the trees, look
at the sunset.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
This is amazing. Is this what you see every day?
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Like staring at everything in the store. I'm like, I
can see the pastries from here.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Okay, So how far could you see before you fixed
your prescription?
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Like?
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Not very far? I mean enough to drive?
Speaker 5 (05:44):
I can't.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I was gonna say, can you see the road? Yes,
well I can't see far away? Like would you have.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Been able to see the sign where it says like
on our wall about the Halloween and the psychic sign?
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Can you read that? Yes?
Speaker 4 (05:59):
But it's blurry, Like I did the update right, So
I did, because baby's gonna come out, and.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
You want to see that happen. You want to see
your baby exit your body.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
So it's just so funny.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
I feel like that's so relatable, especially people like the
more blind you are or the heart of seeing that
you are. Once you get your prescription up, like you
just deal with it for so long and then once
you get an update, it's like the first time you
got glasses?
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Truly is And how many things do we deal with
that we don't realize we shouldn't have to, Like, for example,
say you always have this kink in your neck or
this certain back pain or this or that, and you're
just like live with it for so long and then
it goes away and you're like, wait, is this what
living life like?
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Literally?
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Anyone out there knows of a good lasik surgeon? You
know what I got you because I did lasik like
ten years did you? Did you like it? Best thing
in my life?
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (06:49):
I don't like to wear glasses. Are contacts anymore? That
would cure everything? Well, I'm glad you can see again
on the way, we have our jaw dropper of the
day and I my literal jaw drop when I found
out what mom they're doing now that you think their kids.
We'll explain just after.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
It's exciting six nine in the Valley's Best Mixed Priscilla.
Here it is time for our job dropper of the day.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
It's not girl, I think you drop something my jaw.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
So sid I at first was like, what is happening?
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Parents are making their kids business cards for playdates?
Speaker 1 (07:30):
The headline is shocking. But what we looked into it,
I thank you. I will say I got a little excited.
I'm like, maybe I should do this.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
But this artist in Missouri created this these business cards
for her extroverted son because it was an easy way
to set up playdates after feeling kind of awkward initiating
conversations with other parents. So the cards feature her contact details,
a message like.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Let's play have your people call my people? Just kind
of cute.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yeah, And then the idea became so popular that she
started making these business cards and they've been requested a
lot on Etsy. And so it does sound silly like, okay, great,
well a seven year old has a business card.
Speaker 6 (08:11):
Now.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I know at first that was like because they're trying
to be an influencer or something. I thought maybe that
was like a real business card. But it's for playdates.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yeah, and listen, remember yesterday we were saying like, okay, how.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Do we do this? How do we get kids connected? Nowadays?
This is a good way to kind of do that.
It really is.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
I just worry, like, what if your kid comes home
with five business cards one day?
Speaker 1 (08:35):
That's say you want to play with me? I know
you got to set them up.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Ask your kid, who do you like more? Yeah, let
me know. You become their assistant. Let me see if
I can fill them. Yeah all right, actually said, can
you put an example of these business cards on our
Instagram at mis ninety six nine FM. Okay, on the way,
we have What's Trending, your chance to go to Universal
Studios Hollywood Halloween Horn Nights, and your chance to go
(09:01):
to our iHeartRadio Music Festival all around seven to twenty five.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Right here, I'll mix.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
It Speaks ninety six to nine in the Valley's Best Mix.

UFC match plus free play heat Wave, which is every
Wednesday from four pm to nine pm. You can just
head into any Healo River Resorts and casino for a
chance to win around five hundred to twenty five hundred
dollars in free bonus play this weekend. Speak of bet
(10:00):
MGM and going to watch it on the big screen.
Our Arizona Cardinals have their home opener on Sunday against
the Rams at State Farm Stadium. The game starts at
one o'clock. That'll be such a fun game to watch
in a bar. Maybe go tail yate or like I mentioned,
bet MGM sportsbook.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
This is so funny.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
This Phoenix native logan listle He runs doc Talk, which
is a social media dad joke empire with millions of followers.
So it originally started with a wedding videographer and despite
not being a being a dad or filming near doc
he gained so many followers, produced endorsements, filmed with celebrities.
He has collaborations with Kevin Bacon, Joey Chestnut, plus his
(10:41):
own coffee line and a book of dad jokes. And
he's from right here in Arizona. We'll put a link
to one of his tiktoks on our Instagram at Mix
ninety six to nine FM, Arizona.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Amazon Prime Day is happening next month. The dates haven't
been officially announced online yet, but it'll happen around October,
and so if you don't have a Prime membership, there
is a trial available, so make sure you check that out.
And then, finally, this is so cool. Lady Gaga shared
a screenshot of a Facebook page her college classmates made.
(11:12):
So basically it was a Facebook group with like fifteen
people and the group was called Stephanie Goga's real name,
you will never be Famous.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
And then whoever believe that joined the group.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
And then fast forward to all of the accolades that
Lady Gaga has, you know, accumulated over the years her
amazing career. She's so well respected, and so it's so
wild to go from being hated by so many people
to accomplishing what you do. And she went on to write,
this is why you can't give up when people doubt
you or put you down.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
You have to keep going.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
That's kind of cool because I think a lot of
us can get in our heads about stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
All right, let's do this.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
If you want to go to Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween
Horror Nights, now is your chance.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Give us the call six zho two two six h
nine six ' nine.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Sign in the Valley's Best mixed Priscilla. Here it is
time for Priscilla's Pyramid. It is where producer Sid helps
someone win tickets.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
To Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
And we have mister bina on the phone in his
eighth grade class. Good morning everyone, good morning.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
We're gonna get you guys fired up.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
So here's what you're gonna do is Sid is gonna
give mister Binya a clue and he's got to guess
what she's trying to say. And the theme today is
cartoon character slash animated characters.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Okay, so good, all right, let's get this started. Here
we go.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Oh, this is easy.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
He lives in a pineapple under the sea. Yes, okay,
this guy, he's kind of a dog man. He's friends
with Donald Duck Mickey Mouse.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
He's not silly, ye.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
And then this is Simba's dad and the lion King,
the King of the Jungle.
Speaker 7 (13:06):
Ah, Yes, yes, closing, Yes, congratulations, you're going to Universal
Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights.
Speaker 6 (13:21):
Oh wow, oh wait oh that's pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Yeah, yeah, class, your teacher did it, mister Bina did it.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Give him a shout out. I love it. Congratulations and
thank you again, mister Pinia for being this.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
Month's million dollar teacher and doing so many great things
for your students.
Speaker 6 (13:45):
Yeah, no problem, I appreciate the recognition.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
Of course, have a great day. Hang tight, Okay, don't worry, y'all.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
We're gonna have more.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Tickets next week with Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights
on Monday. But on the way with our hot topic,
that you tell your friend that her husband sucks.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
We'll explain it a couple of songs. But here's scared
to start a mix.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Good morning, It's Mixed ninety six nine, the Valley's Best Mix.
I'm Priscilla.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Your chance to go to our iHeartRadio Music Festival is
coming up at eight point thirty this morning with Mixed
ninety six nine's road Trip playlist, and it is time
for our hot topic. So sid you watch the Secret
Lives of Mormon Wives?
Speaker 8 (14:28):
Right?
Speaker 4 (14:29):
Sure? Did? I?
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Binge the whole season in one day. It's on Hulu.
It's so good.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
It's basically about this group of mom influencers that live
in Utah and just have the most chaotic life. And
in one of the episodes, I thought this would be
a really interesting topic because one of the moms, the
whole group goes to Chippendale's like a male review, right, yes,
and one of the moms is married, and her husband
blows up on her because she went to this mail Well,
(14:55):
she didn't even go to the mail review because they
surprised her and she she decided to opt out, but
he was mad that she was even in the vicinity, right,
he just goes off on her.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
And the things he was saying we're really inappropriate, and
he just kind of lost it.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yeah, he just basically sucked.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
So listen to what they said to her the day
after when she kind of went to dinner with them.
Speaker 8 (15:18):
Obviously, you guys saw that, saw how upset Zach was
last night, and she knows he's in the wrong, but like,
who's to say in another marriage that won't be the
same thing.
Speaker 9 (15:28):
All of us are disgusted with Zach. I think he's
disgusting and I have no problem saying that, and I
know you all agree, so please back me up well
because we.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Love you, like how this frustration is not towards you.
So that's where I started to be like, oh, okay,
so that's the hot topic is if you are friends
with someone that has a crappy husband, do you say
something or do you let it go?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
You know, what do you think said?
Speaker 4 (15:53):
I think if it's something like this, you've got to
tell her. I think if you're a good friend, you say, listen,
this is not the way he.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Should be treated.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
I have a hard time because, like I don't ever
want to get involved in anyone's marriage. Obviously, listen, if
there is a dangerous situation or it's becoming volatile all
that stuff, of course, you want to protect your friend, Like,
let's just get that part out of the way.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
This is more so.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Like if your husband just sucks, won't let you have
fun in Vegas and just girl, Yeah, and he's just like.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Not a good husband? Do you tell your friend?
Speaker 2 (16:29):
I'm kind of like, she already knows her husband sucks,
you know, so she doesn't need me to tell her.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
I think since in this instance she brought it up,
she's like you guys saw how Zach reacted last night,
like she's trying to stand up for him, and so
I think their reaction is like, Okay, come on, Jen, Yeah,
so this is this is ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Okay. So that's the question.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
If you have a friend and her husband just sucks
and again nothing crazy or dangerous or anything, she just
sucks as a husband, do you tell her like, hey, girl,
you deserve to be treated better, or you should set
some boundaries, or.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Do you just let it go. She knows what she's doing.
That's her jam. Give us a call. Six oh two
two six oh oh nine, six nine. That's six o
two two, six oh oh nine, six nine. It's the
Valley's Best Mix six ninety six nine. I'm Priscilla in
the middle of our hot topic, and the question is
do you tell your friend if their spouse sucks. Maybe
they're not being treated the best and not in a
(17:22):
dangerous way, but more so just like they're just not
being treated well.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Do you let them know or do you stay out
of it? So we're taking your calls. Who's this?
Speaker 10 (17:30):
I would rather not use my name because it's fairly unique,
and I think everybody's gonna know exactly what I'm talking
about if I do.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Okay, girl, do not share your name, but tell me
what is going on. What's your opinion?
Speaker 10 (17:42):
You absolutely do tell your friends these things I have.
She was being treated poorly. Literally, I looked at her
with tears in my eyes and I said, un you
deserve so much better than this. And I laid out
all the reasons.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Why does she accept the advice or was she like
didn't care to hear it?
Speaker 10 (18:01):
Nope, she accepted my advice and about two weeks later
basically booted him. Wow, three hundred pounds of dead weight.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
You know, maybe sometimes people need an outside perspective because
you can be in your own little bubble and you
don't share anything that's going on, so you don't know
if it's right or wrong, and then you realize, wait,
maybe I should be treated better. Well, thank you so much.
Woman with no name, have a.
Speaker 10 (18:26):
Great day, you too, have a great weekend.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Let's move on to Chris. Chris, what's your opinion on
this hot topic?
Speaker 6 (18:32):
For so, I think it's situational. I mean you said
it as I was thinking it. If there is danger
that you perceive, you owe it to intervene and say something.
But I think in the other situations, you know, if
it's just your opinion, you need to keep that opinion
to yourself. But in this case, she brought her a
husband up and she initiated, So in that case she's
(18:52):
asking for your opinions, then absolutely, I think you should
give your opinion on what you think about it.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
See.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
My thing is like give your opinion, but with some
like grace, because that girl was like, your husband's disgusting,
and I was like, wow, that's a lot.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
Well exactly. I mean a softer tone would be really
having trouble understanding why he reacted that way. Wasn't cool,
wasn't kind? I mean, is this happening often? Yeah, approach that.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Yeah, that's a good point. All right, thank you, Chris,
appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
All Right, if you have an opinion on this hot topic,
like do you let a friend know if their spouse
is not.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Great or do you just stay out of it?
Speaker 2 (19:30):
If you have a situation you're familiar with, then some
experience give us a call.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
We want to hear it. Six h two two six
nine six nine. It's The Valley's Best Mikes.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
Mix ninety six nine on Priscilla in the middle of
our hot topic, and if you missed it, we're all
watching The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and in the show,
one of the girls is married to a guy that
blew up on her because she went to a male
review show in Las Vegas with a bunch of girlfriends
and then the girlfriends start to rag on the husband.
Speaker 8 (19:59):
Obviously, you guys saw that. Saw how upset Zach was
last night, and he knows he's in the wrong, but like,
who's to say in another marriage that won't be the
same thing.
Speaker 9 (20:09):
All of us are disgusted with Zach. I think he's
disgusting and I have no problem saying that, and I
know you all agree, so please.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Back me up.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Well, it's because we love you. How frustration is not
towards you.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
So the question we're asking you is it okay to
tell a friend when their spouse is being cruddy or
not being great to you and just let him know, like, hey,
you deserve to be treated better.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
So we have Jack on the phone. Jack, let me
ask you this.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
If you notice that your guy friend had like a
creuddy wife and she's just not awesome and you know
that he deserves better, would you talk to him about it.
Speaker 11 (20:44):
Yeah, honestly, I'd invite him over. We'd hang out, probably
have a beer and and and I'd just be like, hey, look,
you know, how are you doing? And then seg wazy,
how are you doing? Into this is what I think
be based off of everything, you know, because it's more
important about my guy friends than it is about their spouses.
(21:07):
And you know, you just have the kid glove it.
Sometimes I mean, tell them, but don't don't be a
wrecking ball in their marriage.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
That's a great perspective because sometimes we think like, oh,
we got to stay out of people's marriages, but then
you have friends that end up in like not awesome
situations and they deserve better, and it's like maybe sometimes
they do need a little bit of an outside perspective
to break through because maybe they're feeling it, but they're
like am I crazy?
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Or am I acting too crazy?
Speaker 2 (21:35):
I don't know. Maybe it's everything's fine and I'm expecting
too much. So when a friend, yeah, when a friend
steps in and is like, you know what, like I've
been noticing this, and of course, like I get it,
you guys are married, but I just want to let
you know, like you are a good person, and you
deserve a little bit better than that.
Speaker 11 (21:51):
I think the important thing though with this, if you
do intervene, is don't make it about the spouse. Make
it about your friend. When you're describing the problems you
see in their relationship. Make it about, Hey, you're my friend,
You're not okay. This is why I think you're not okay.
This is what I'm seeing.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
The spell.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yes, so great, Thank you for that, and I think
that's the mic drop Jack.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
I appreciate you well.
Speaker 11 (22:16):
Thanks again, and have a great weekend.

citizens orbited Earth in SpaceX Capsule made history yesterday by
doing the first ever world civilian walk I guess spacewalk,
But again, these are billionaires, so you know, take it
with a grain of salt.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
How wild is this? About one fourth of Gen Z
and millennial adults say in a new survey that the
reason they're not having kids is because of their finances. Basically,
they're saying they can't afford it. And with everyone talking
about inflation and not being able to afford their bills,
they get it because how could you afford kids if
can't even afford your bill?
Speaker 2 (23:27):
So hopefully we get that figured out. McDonald's hasn't figured out, though,
I will.
Speaker 4 (23:31):
Say that they're bringing back the Boo Boo buckets for Halloween.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
The tradition started back in nineteen eighty six.

While there's no official release state they will be back,
the rumors for the designs are a curious blue monster,
a joyful Green monster, a dough eyed orange monster, and
then the suspicious White Monster, basically what you remember from
back in the day. Also, Pixar is out with a
release state for Inside Out Too on Disney Plus.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
That's coming out September twenty fifth. If you remember, it
is the highest grossing film of the year with over
one point six billion dollars worldwide. It is a movie
for kids and adults and it is incredible. Okay, on
