unbelievable. But last weekend's race inSilverstone pretty pretty amazing to see Lando
Norris yep I said, at LandoNorris and A McLaren to get his first
podium at Silverstone since since Lewis Hamiltondid it in twenty ten the British Grand
Prix. It was Norris's first ofthis year. So Lando Norris and A

McLaren ended up second. Ferrari youknow, Ferris had all kinds of problems.
If you guys own a Ferrari,I don't know if that's the car
to have these days. I meanyou know, they're they're cool and all
that, but they're just not doingvery much in Formula one. So I
don't know if it's kind of callyou one half now, yeah, I
don't know. I don't know.You're just just not enough to par with
the rest of these guys in Formulaone, you know. So and if

you have a Ferrari, you canstill call the show at four oh seven,
nine point six eight. Well,we didn't put Lamborghini in the mix,
but you know, McLaren's up thereand they took care of business and
took care of business, beating theMercedes again for all you Mercedes lovers.
Another podium for Mercedes and it wasLewis Hamilton got himself there on the podium.

But Ferrari, they had high hopesof challenging the McLarens at the podium,
but a combination of losing track positionbecause of the safety car and not
having enough fresh tires meant they limpedthrough way across the line in ninth and
tenth sad sad story for Ferrari.Lewis Hamilton was really happy to be able
to bring his earrings and piercings alongwith him up to the podium. So

it was his fourth podium of theseason and fourteenth that's Silverstone, moving him
to within sixteen points of Fernando Alonsofor the battle for third and driver's championship.
Right now, at the beginning ofthe season, we have ever thought
that McLaren will be beating out Mercedesin England. Not really. You know

Yeah, well they want to putan award in there. After considering Grand
Slam idea for sprint races twenty twentyfour, further fine tuned the spectacle.

In twenty twenty four, GP bossesare happy to keep the number of sprint
races at six next year, addingthe Grand Slam elements to sprint weekends,
which would award any driver who takesthe pole position and victory for both the
Sprint and the Grand Prix. Ijust think it's kind of weird that they

put these sprint races in there,and in the beginning they said, whoever
wins the sprint race is gonna takeover the pole. And they come back
and they said no, no,no, no, we can't do that.
That was only a week later theysaid, no, you can't have
the pole if you want to sprintrace. So they got an hour to
sprint race is more or less likea spectacle. Right, So now they're
talking more or less about what let'sjust change it up again for twenty twenty

four to give us a whole yearto think about it, and we could
complain with the safety car stewards andall these other people and figure out what's
the best process for these six onlysix races, we will be able to
have a sprint race. Listen,if you're gonna implement something, go ahead

a great job in the past,right big alm. Yeah. I mean
he's he's he's somebody to deal with. If everything is right and the engineers
get everything right, I think hecould be a force to be reckoned with

better watch out if Ricardo is anotherone of his teammates there in red Bull.

He was miserable all last season.He was this this race they took
off, but I you know,I think they were all trying to get

you know, yeah, she was. She was at flaming them. She

Ryan Newman, I think he hada little bit more time would have taken
care of Denny Hammer and knocked himoff as little purpose. I think he

good friend of the show. Hiscar was his truck was just flipping in
the engine and everything came out.Transmission is laying in the middle of the

field there and and he's just trappedinto the seat. There's nothing left,

Bristol, Yeah, wasn't it.And that car just the whole body was
laying on the on the race trackand he was just sitting in the in

everything, and the motor was outof the car. And you know,
Daryl Walter thought he lost his brotherright there and watched the whole thing,
you know. So yeah, it'scrazy. How about Steve Park at Darlington
actually hit so hard that he hadended up having brain damage. This is
a very, very very dangerous sport. These guys are given everything they got
Rudd, Ernie Irving. We DarylWalter up himself down the back straight away

at Daytona, you know, soaway from me, Ernie Irvin, you
know. And when I think ofLoud and I think of Adam Petty who
lost his life in practice. Yes, yes, And two weeks later it
was Ernie Irvin. Um after thatit was Jerry Nadu. You gotta remember

tracks they were so dangerous and stuff, and NASCAR's come so far compared to
what it used to be, andit seems that um um what every time

thing. That's the reason we haveJohn Hunter Nmachick, who was named after

many times, several times, Ithink three different times until this configuration today

tried to Mini Daytona and they triedto make it a little flatterer, and
they tried this, and they triedthat and it just didn't work. So

this but after that tragedy happened withAdam Petty and with least Caunus Werven Irvin,

after that happened to it. Thosewere just in practice. They were
not even a real race. Theywere practicing when they lost their lives.
They put restrictive plates on the carsat Loud and it was the only other
track that they did that, puttingrestrictive plates besides the Superspeedways on a smaller
track Loud, New Hampshire, andthen until they came up with a conclusion

on what they needed to do tofix everything, and the race was so
boring, but they said they can'tever do that again because it was just
a single file march to the league. Yeah, nobody had enough not to
