now in Lake Placid. I cantell you that I don't feel a thing
well. I have to say HappyFather's Day to everybody. Happy Father's Day,
even to you Scott. Happy Fathersdayto all you fathers out there.
It's a Father's Day special. We'regonna do things a little bit different.
Not a lot going on because theTruck Series, the Affinity Series, and
the Cup Series are all off thisweekend. Yeah, and I believe IndyCars

off this weekend too, are they. Yeah, you said the wrong.
Good. It should be happy Father'sDay, all you mothers. That's exactly
right. You know. That's whywe celebrate both Mother's Day and Father's Day.
If you guys want to call theshow, we're gonna ask you do
something different. Um, We're gonnaask you what's your best Father's Day story.
I'm sure big Al has one.I have one if you want to
call it and tell us your Father'sDay story. It doesn't necessarily have to

be a rasing because his mind isnot. But you can cause at four

I got two and they both involvedfishing off the coast in deep, deep
deep water. Eight hundred and seventwo nine eight two five five Two Fathers
Day events that happened, and theywere pretty crazy out big out. You
got a Father's Day event that waspretty good. Mine was a fishing deal

too. Well. They tell mewe went, we took a drift boat
down before Father's Day or the Father'sDay weekend. It was I think it
was whatever it fell on. Mikeyand Maryannemy and we went out on the
late one and I happened to benext to a guy with a Winston jacket
on a nice beautiful red Winston joe. Yeah yeah yeah, and uh yeah,

man, I got this and hewas annohily, did you know what
I'm saying? And they usually getthat way on the drift boat and uh,
Mike, he caught a black tipshark. What yeah, that guy
with the Winston jacket, he caughta buzz. Hey, he got a
buzz And we caught a black tipshark. And I said, hey,
man, hey, man, wegotta we got a shark on the line.

And guys, I don't know whatyou gotta say. We got a
shark on the line. So anyway, brought the shark up, he says,
I said, give my hand,my kid a hand bringing it in
the boat. He said, I'mgonna cut the line. I said,
you ain't cutting the line, dog, Yeah, I said, I'm bringing
this say in because it's I gotthe big fish deal going. You know
what I'm saying. He cut theline, Yeah, cut the line.
Yeah we don't want yeah yeah,yeah, No, we ain't cutting the

line, I say, Mike,Mikey I say, you you bring this
thing up. I'm grabbing the tail. We're bringing the thing in the boat.
Yeah. So I told the guynext to me with the Annihili,
the guy with the Winston cup jacketon, the Whiston jacket on, and
says, hey, move out ofthe way. I'm bringing the shark in.
I want the shark. And he'slooking at me like I got three
eyes in my head. And soMikey yokes him up. I grabbed the

tail, the thing swinging back andforth and everything. Guess what, he
grabs his Winston jacket. It's brandnew Whiston jacket and it decides to hold
onto that and rip the sleeve rightoff of it. That's, oh yeah,
his day's story there. Oh yeah, and the guy's mad at me.

Now, now the guys your fatbecause you brought that dang shark into
the boat. Listen, yeah,sharks, it was. It was really
cool because it had the guy's jacket. Well, listen, sharks lose their
teeth and if you cut the lines, not gonna hurt the sharkts gonna fall.
Yeah, but I would listen,dude, the pot was big.
The pot was big, so theydidn't give me the pot because you know

what they said, that's not afish, it's a shark. I said,
you know, you guys splitting hair, fish splitting hairsplitting hairs. The
fin goes in the back from sideto side. That's a fish. A
mamma goes up and down. Itis a fish. A shark is a
fish. So you should have wonthe pot. Yeah. So anyway,
guess what I told the guys said, an't you listen, man, for
your trouble with this. You canhave the pot. Yeah, and I

already knew they weren't going to giveit to me. I said, you
can have the money. Yeah,he can buy a jacket. You can
buy a jacket. Already I alreadyknew they weren't giving it to me.
So I beat feet off the boatwith whatever we caught, because what's that.
Did you take the shark with you? No? No, no,
I let the shot. Let themhave the shark cut because I told a

guy he could have the money,and they were going to keep the shark.
You can have the money from thefrom the deal there, from the
pot. Yeah, but they didn'tgive him the pot and they didn't give
him the shark neither. And Iwas beating feet out of there to get
back in my truck to leave.Happy Father's Day. Big. It's a

I heard Scott say something, butI didn't. It was probably least
over here. Well, Indy car, you're gonna pass it for me?
The one Well you said there isno Indy car racing. There is there
an Indy car race? Yeah,yeah, there is. I'm I stood
outcast road al Clark Lake. Thisis why you have a wife that you've
been married to. And that's father'sback about it, all right, um.

Practice number one in Formula one inthe Canadian Grand Prix vows how valtari
Botas. I haven't said his namein so long I forgot how to say
it. Valtari Botas topped the timecharts in a disrupted first practice session.
Okay, Pierre Ghastly had a mechanicalissue with his car and stopped dead on
the track and he was unable tochange gears. And while Gasty's car had

you know, moved from the sideof the track, the session was the
stall was was still resumed due toissues with vocal CCTV around the circus.
So I guess if they don't havecameras that can't continue running on the track,
I guess they say for safety reasons. That's kind of crazy, right,
and that's kind of goofy. Well, you got all these guys with

the get six guys at each cornerwith all these yellow and well, let
me ask you a question. Thecameras don't work. I mean, we
watched the Formula one cars and thecameras don't work inside the car. They
should have used that something I don'tknow, but they've canceled it and ended
up you know, the last tenminutes they said, okay, you guys
can go back out, and thenall said it's raining. Now, what
are we gonna do? Go outthere with the rain tires and try to

do a you know, practice didn'twork. So due to the delaye FP
two be brought forward a half anhour or they given an extra half an
hour to be a ninety minute session, And looks like they went out there
and I think they did practice numbertwo, but or us it's right now,
excuse go ahead, least yeah,propelling red bull right, unprecedented success

leads to arrow efficiency, the biggeststrength of two thousand and twenty three and
also infamous for images Red Bull fone car for exposes. Yeah. Different.
See they brought that car up inthe air and Mercedes had a good
look at it and says, Iwait a minute, you're doing something with
the belly of that car up underneath. So now they have a little conflict

going on between Mercedes and Red Bulland what are they doing to the undercarriage
of the car. And I thinkI had a chance to see it on
TV. Pretty cool, huh bigThey looked they might have the red year.
They probably have directionals or something underneaththat thing. Those winds. Yeah,
you gotta figure out something. Youcan't get caught. Who's gonna lift
up the car to look at it? In tech? Not big al,

No way. Mercedes Benz is buzzingwith new energy since they had a double
podium in Spain, and looks likeLewis Hamilton was offered a contract update.
So he said, we've been talkingto me and Toto been talking back and
forth about this new contract extension,you know from Mercedes regarding some Mercedes and
he said, I've seen total wetalked several times when we have a great
relationship, but there's nothing else tosay at this moment. And that came

from Lewis Hamilton himself and in practiceum too. I guess who was leading
practice too, Lewis Hamilton and GeorgeRussell right behind him to two Mercedes Silver
arrows more back up at the topof the second practice at the Canadian Grand
Prix. So they're doing something andshe changed on the floor. I mean

they changed the floor. It seemsthat Red Bull had long switched their focus.
They switched their focus in practice twofor the long run kind of deal.
So they set the car up differentand they weren't looking to, you
know, be the fastest in practice. They put them on medium tires and
they left Max Verstappen and his teammateSergio Perez and sixth and eighth spots in
practice two. So not a lotgoing on. The Canadian P two was

done under rainy conditions. So let'ssee what happens today for Canada and P
three. After two weeks off,we had a Grand Prix of Canada in
Montreal. It's this weekend. JacquesVillaneu's track over there, Lisa, Yeah,
after his death in nineteen eighty two, Belgium JP track named in his
honor, the Karat L Clark HonorsGillis villain View, Canadian GP Helmet Tribute.

His helmet scored his maiden victory forthe Italian team at the first Montreal
F one event. Jacques, sohe's teen seventy eight. Well, the

eight days of something happening all yearlong. It's not just the one race
a year. And then tickets aregoing to go on pretty soon for the
big race at Homestead Miami Speedway inOctober, and there'll be special packages like
the one last year with Ryan Blaneyand Bubba Wallace. It was a Q
and a ticket package. We'll letyou know how that's going as we get

closer to it. And I've beenin communication with Daytona already and we've already
secured a lot of cool things foryou guys for the Race of Daytona,
which is August the twenty six,and we'll be down in Daytona at David
Busters Orlando and David Buster's Daytona.Now I have my own Father's Day story.

cool Father's Day story. One day, Lisa and I were way down in

past the first ship in lane.We're out there at the second ship in
lane and we're just trolling for dolphin. We're trying to get some dolphin,
not porpoise. Don't get your mindon mahi mahi. Dolphin and porpoise are
two different things. Porpoise is amam ol. Their tail goes up and
down. Dolphin and goes side toside like Big Al's shark. Okay,

it's a fish, Okay. Ijust want to make sure people don't think
we're going out there trying to catchup Fliphurd. We don't do that.
So we're me and Lisa are outthere by ourselves. Right. We got
I got the biggest fish I evergot in my entire life. He must
have been a good seventy pounder man. And I'm pulling him. I caught
him and I couldn't get him in, So I said, you would have

driven the boat. But wait aminute. When the person grabs the pole,
big out and he's the one tobring it up to the boat.
Is that the person who caught it. Yes't was too big. But then
I told Lisa, get the gaff, get the gases. She gets our
big six foot you know, aluminumpole gas. I never gas. And
she swings this thing and sticks thefish in the side of the belt instead

of putting it in the gill.And fish went ape, you know what.
And he just pulled the gaff andalmost Lisa with him, broke the
line and went to the bottom ofthe ocean. And I said, happy
Father's Day. That was so niceone. But it got away. You're
supposed to put it under his gill, and helped bring him up inside the
boat. He was too big,all I saw with this big eye looking

at me. Yeah. Yeah,that was the big one, the big
one that got on Father's Day.There you go, you guys have your

was bad, but it was goodanyway. It was out in the ocean

It was pretty bad for him,but he did fight back and he ended
up I think it was fourth placeor that was not bad at all for
a guy who got wiped out inthe pack. He came he did.

out of it. But he's notcool at all. He's super hot right

The place has been repaved and itis super fast. It's so fast
that Alexander Rossi finds the fastest laneon the new Road America's surface, and
I believe he is going to breakthe track record. There's gonna be a

breaking track record. You know whathappens once they smooth that puppy out,
boom, they go flying down throughthere with the new surfaces raising all the
speed limits. At Road America thisweekend, it's gonna be a great race.
They're qualifying right or excuse to bethey're practicing right now. They will

races have been won by Scott Dixontwice, Joseph Newgarten twice, will power

Father's Day story. You ready forthis? If you guys have Another's Day
story, it's four US four hseven nine one six eight two five five
or eight hundred seven two nine eighttwo five five. I've been a father
for a long time. So Ihave two boys, and so Lisa and
I and the two boys. Wewere out off of Fort Lauderdale on our
boat. We used to go tothe boat every weekend. It was my
only escape to get away from everything. So we're off the shore of Fort

Lauderdale, maybe about twenty miles out. We didn't have to go that far.
We went out that far just becausewe say, hey, you know,
what's nice, let's just go troll. Lisa's usually falling asleep on the
front of the boat. We're lookingfor the seaweed line. We're looking for
the big seaweed line, you know, so you gotta go pretty far out
there to find him. You know, we found this huge seaweed line.
I mean there must have been aboutone hundred yards wide, you know,
big big one, you know.So I'm on the back side of it,

you know, the the ocean sideof it. And we got our
three poles out there, and twoof them boo boo, go off,
they go, oh no, getgrabbing some. Both of my sons grabbed
the poles. I see the fishare running towards the seaweed line, and
they're big ones. They're big bulls, you know, big goffin bulls there,
I mean mahi mahe bulls. Incase you guys didn't know what a
doffing was. They're really big,big fish, like the biggest ones we

ever caught, you know. Andmy son Stephen, he lets it go
towards the seaweed line and the linebreaks. I put the boat, I
put the boat in reverse, andI'm going as full blasted to that seaweed
line. And I stopped right beforethe seaweed line because I don't want all
that crap, you know, caughtup and say, you never know,
if there's you don't want it upthere in the lower reunit. No,
yeah, you don't want none ofthat stuff in there. So my son
Chris, he it's only took himmore than six minutes. He pulled this

bull all the way up into theboat. It was a sixty eight pounder,
the biggest fish we ever caught onthe boat. It was a happy
Father's Day that day and we madeeighteen filets out of that bad boy.
It was a monster. So anyway, there's our father's Day story from the

Series victory of the season in thelast race at Worldwide Technology Raceway, and

Corey him because he was sick lastweek. It didn't really make a big
difference. He's still on top ofthe points. Time Mad Jesty his second
Grand Infinger third Zane Smith fourth andBen Rhodes is fifth. The Truck series
says Happy Father's Day to all thefathers. The Craftsman Truck Series is off
until Friday, the June twenty third, at Nashville's Superspeedway. Okay, Exfenity

race tracks, they like to taketheir dogs with him, and we really
don't get to see a lot ofthat. But the story came out and
it was really cool about the dogs. Now, Eric Jones his dog flies
to the racing style. His nameis Oscar. He's an eighty five pound
drummer shepherd. He sits in hisown seat on the team charter next to
Jones and Oscar. He likes thewindow seat. He likes he likes to
stare out the window and he watches. As long as you're flying along and

Eric Jones playing there, Oscar isamong several dogs that travel with cup drivers
throughout the season, providing a senseof home and companionship at the track.
Jones says he's a good dog.He's calm and listens well and he helps
out a lot. He makes alot of he makes. He makes a
lot of the other dogs dirvers becausehe's a big old dog. He's a
big l eighty five pounder. Butyou know, Ricky Stenhouse has a dog

name Ruby now for about a yearand a half in Steenhouse said that she's
pretty chill even at home. She'snot torn up, no furiture or anything
like that. My dog is overthere going to a nightmare or something in
the back of I don't know whatthat is. Ruby travels with Stenhouse and
his wife to most of the racesand lets it's a long flight and he
said. Ricky Stenhouse said, Ilove having Ruby with us, and Ruby

joined him and his wife in VictoryLane after winning last year's Daytona five hundred

dog out in their head. Justpart of my family. Boy get away
from a dog. So whenever theydon't put yeah, Tom used to put

it. And you know, theydid realize that when the dog's not with
him, they really miss her,so yeah, you know, they try

to take her all the time.Harrison Burton has a Golden Retriever named Remy,
and she's about a year and ahalf old. Other than a brief
period, a brief period where shetore up some molding where Jeff Burton lived,
she's been calm and she's been gotteninto the getting into race gear and
stuff, and so he dressed herup and stuff. So she's always carry's
toys around with no shoes. Theydon't let her get into the shoes,

but Burton says it's a great thingto have the dog in the track.
And actually Burton's dog and Stenhouse dogsare really good buddies. Whenever they're around
each other, it's chaos, butthey have a good time at the track.
Ryan Blanney and his girlfriend have twodogs. They bring them both to
the track and uh, Blanney says, I don't have any children yet,
so these aren't my children, andthey really are right big out they're like
your kid. Yeah, I gotI got a bunch of four legged children,

and as the Father's Day, Iwas thinking, you know, let's
we got all these racing stories allthe time. But man's best friend not
woman's best friend. Man's best friendisn't that week. So we got doggy
stories coming out of the kazally righthere. Blanney got um sturgy when in
two thousand and eight when he wassingle and he goes, he's my guy.
I brought him lots of times tothe race track when I was single,

and I wanted him to come tothe track with me as kind of
a someone to hang out with,you know, so it was really cool
to hang out. And uh,let's see a Sturgil, a Labrador German
Shepherd mix has joined blaming in VictoryLane. Also, that's pretty cool bringing
a dog to Victory lane. CaseBiscoe and his wife have three dogs.
Two are French bulldogs Ricky Calley,and one's a great dame. My God

had taken a great Dame in thetrack. That's pretty cool. Briscoe say,
yeah, Ricky could be feisty whileCamellos relaxed them. Blue is a
massive, super lazy dog. Allof them get along well and they have
they kind of do their own thingwhen they go to the track. Is
that not cool? Stories about thedog he's up? Yeah, yeah,
one more Alex Bowman. He hastwo dogs. Roscoe. We used to
have a dog named Roscoe. It'sa brown lot while the German shepherd and

Boss brought. Bowman rescued Roscoe intwenty thirteen, and Finn is a black
Labrador that Bowman has hats this twentyseventeen. Bowman's favorite story is walking with
them at the track that involves fans. He said that the driver owner of
the lot in Darlington has no grass, so he had to walk him behind
the area in a grassy place,you know. But he was picking up
dog, you know what, witha dog poopy bag, and a bunch

of the fans wanted autographs and Ikind of got stuck in the crowd.
